There is no scientific proof for any age beyond about 4,500 years. There might be a lot of circular evidence, a lot of science theory, but there is no proof. This means that, according to science fact, the earth is only about 4,500 years old. We can assume that it is older. But we don't know from science. Scientists successfully 3D print human cartilage with a breakthrough stem cell printer Recently, Swedish scientists successfully developed cartilage tissue by printing stem cells through a 3D bioprinter. As part of the study, a team of researchers at the Sahlgrenska Academy and the Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden harvested cartilage cells from knee surgery patients. The experts then coaxed the cells into becoming pluripotent stem cells. These stem cells were touted for their potential in developing into different types of cells. The researcher expanded and encapsulated the stem cells in a nanofibrillated cellulose. The research team then used a 3D bioprinter to print the stem cells into a structure.
The team took three years to identify the right method in surviving the stem cells during printing. According to the experts, using large amounts of live stem cells can make the process possible. "In nature, the differentiation of stem cells into cartilage is a simple process, but it's much more complicated to accomplish in a test tube. We're the first to succeed with it, and we did so without any animal testing whatsoever. We investigated various methods and combined different growth factors. Each individual stem cell is encased in nanocellulose, which allows it to survive the process of being printed into a 3D structure. We also harvested mediums from other cells that contain the signals that stem cells use to communicate with each other so called conditioned medium. In layman's terms, our theory is that we managed to trick the cells into thinking that they aren't alone. Therefore the cells multiplied before we differentiated them," said lead researcher Professor Stina Simonsson in ScienceDaily.com.
Potential use of bioprinted cartilage
Surgeons who examined the artificial cartilage confirmed that the bioprinted tissue contained properties that were similar to real human cartilage. According to the surgeons, the bioprinted cartilage contained Type-II collagen and perfectly-formed cells. The cellular structure of the bioprinted tissue also appeared to be similar to human cartilage samples, the surgeons noted. Tensions On The Rise As U.S. Announces Military Drills Near Venezuela  The involvement of the U.S. military in an upcoming multilateral military drill in South America has raised concerns over potential ulterior motives on the part of the U.S. The drill, dubbed "Operation: America United," will involve the installation of a temporary military base on the triple border shared by the drill's other participating nations: Peru, Brazil, and Colombia.
According to Theofilo de Oliveira, the top general of the Brazilian Armed Forces, the U.S. military will carry out the drill along with the three Latin American nations this November over a period of ten days. The Brazilian military has asserted that the objective of the exercise is to " develop a greater knowledge, share experiences and develop mutual trust." Brazilian government officials have strongly denied rumors that the exercise will lead to the establishment of a multinational military base in the Amazon.
The U.S. was invited to participate by Brazil's unelected president Michel Temer, who has notably boosted Brazilian military spending by 36 percent while simultaneously freezing public spending for two decades through a controversial constitutional amendment.
A friendly relationship with Brazil's military is key for the U.S.' strategic interest in South America. As Hector Luis Saint Pierre – coordinator of international security, defense, and strategy at the Brazilian Association of International Relations – told the BBC: "Brazil is a strategic partner for the doctrine of the military. If the United States has a good relationship with the Brazilian navy, it is easier to spread its message among the military in the region."
Pierre pointed out that the drill is of particular interest to the U.S., as it presents an opportunity to focus on the political situation in Venezuela. According to Telesur, President Donald Trump has already met with the presidents of Peru and Colombia to discuss the U.S.' interest in Venezuela.
As MintPress has previously reported, Venezuela has been the target of ongoing economic warfare as the U.S. continues to disrupt the leftist government first brought to power by the late Hugo Chávez. They didn't have things like mercury in them. In addition, with proper nutrition and hygiene like we have available to us today, those people wouldn't have needed vaccines. Today, with all the knowledge about nutrition, nobody needs vaccines. Without vaccines, there would be strengthening of the immune system for all, and vaccines would be needed even less. |
