2381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the Unsold Tokens? on: September 27, 2018, 10:01:39 PM
2) Unsold tokens are not burned - It can be used as a personal interest.
Exactly, the excess tokens are prone from the hands of a greedy dev. So in order to be fai and square to all, this should be burned instead of letting that greedy one to have an opportunity of becoming a price manipulator of their own platform.

On the other perspective. My unsold tokens are just merely forgotten". I choose to forget my ZAP tokens (ever heard about it already? I don't think so) since I realized that it was a shitcoin after all, there's no point for expecting profits in returrn.
2382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ETH Mobile App Wallet for iOS/Android? on: September 27, 2018, 09:40:02 PM
I used coins.ph wallet. It is secured, fast and reliable which do not only supports eth but also btc (of course), xrp and bch. You can also buy prepaid loads and pay bills throug this. I'm just not sure whether this can possibly be used by people outside the Philippines, may I know which country you came from?
2383  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary with Copper Memberships? on: September 27, 2018, 09:24:18 PM
I don't think they bought copper membership after became legendary. Like me, I bought copper membership once I was newbie.
I thought the same thing. But if there is really a Legendary member already and availing a copper membership then he must be doing a wrong decision. In the end, you will be judged based on your behavior and posting habits here and not to the labels under your name.
2384  Other / Meta / Re: Most annoying word of forum on: September 27, 2018, 03:33:52 PM
Mine is "Help". It is so annoying to see someone asking for it knowing that he don't even try to find answers and his question is searchable in the first place. I really hate spoonfeeding.

So I don't like someone calls me "Sir" , and I don't like to see who uses this word in forums.
Forgive me for broken English, but I think you also have the same feelings for the word “Sir”.
I understand because other members here feel the same way. Actually, I used this word often before especially when talking to high-ranked members but I stop after I experienced a little bit conflict regarding this. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4973648.msg44892625#msg44892625. Even though I knew to myself that I have no intentions of degrading people and just showing my respect, I still decided to quit saying such endearments to avoid this kind of situations once and for all (even to my campaign manager).
Dear Sir Thermos,

Its great project have a many potentials future for opportunity. I invest all my wife savings into your project for charitable outcomes...
I laughed so hard with this one particularly to "Thermos". Like a brand of vacuum flask? I guess enough internet for today lol Grin.
2385  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best way to profit in cryptocurrency on: September 27, 2018, 02:01:15 PM
Work based on your profession, used your extra income only when investing to btc or to the few preceding coins, hodl and cash out when you already make a profit. That's my own way of earning through crypto (aside from working with my job because I just a student), you can try this too.

Though I still cannot eliminate the risk simply because it is naturally present in the market where we're moving around, at least it wss lessen since I'm investing only to a stable and trustworthy coin as well as not too afraid of losing because the money I used is only an excess. In short, I feel more secured and less pressured Grin.
2386  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Totoo nga! on: September 27, 2018, 01:01:50 PM
merit?  Upvote?
 Di yan importante.
For me ang merit ay hindi naman totally "not so important", it has an importance actually. We all knew that Merit is the basis followed by the members here, kumbaga ito ang magpapakita ng credentials ng account mo ngunit hindi lang doon natatapos ang lahat. As you will think deeper, this can be your basis also to say if you, not only as a poster of this forum but as a crypto enthusiast in the outside world, is improving or not. Kung sa bawat stay mo dito ay nakakapag-gain ka ng merit (disregarding how long it takes), it only means that you become more knowledgeable and wittier as time goes by na magagamit mong advantage when dealing with the market. Yung tipong masabi mo man lang sa sarili mo na kahit papaano ay gumagaling ka (through the help of merit as the representation) ay malaking bagay dahil nakakapagpataas ito ng self-esteem — the thing which makes you strive even harder and keeping you motivated as well.

Other than that, you are right. Dapat lang na hindi natin first priority ang forum. Huwag sana natin makalimutan  ang dream natin, ang mag-excel as a crypto investor not only to become a role model of our forum.
2387  Other / Meta / Re: META? on: September 26, 2018, 10:52:35 PM
In most cases, I agree with you, you say everything correctly, but you are participating in the signature bounty company BQT. Apparently you've forgotten or not seen... ))) Funny.
You know what's funnier? We're both the same wearing signature.

Anyway, for me there is a big difference between a member joining sig campaigns while doing his best to obey and contribute in the forum to a member who is just here solely because of sig campaigns, and at worst, aware of being a "virus" but still continue just for the sake of his post quota. This is what I'm pointing about.

2388  Other / Meta / Re: META? on: September 26, 2018, 01:09:28 PM
Now? I noticed a lot of questions posting that spammbie and repeating the goal remained, just the word back and forth.
either: is it lacking knowledge, reading, knowledge of the Forum or not knowing at all?

"I am concerned about this matter for the future whether it is better or worse, how to do it for the future?"
Ah, I see. You are bothered by the beginners out there asking the same questions over and over again so you made this thread to provide answers once and for all as a solution for the problem being said. Am I right? If yes then thanks for the concern and effort but I'll tell you frankly, this will be inefficient like the other guidelines here (especially those are made by the mods) if  there are still existing undisciplined members — those members who even don't care to read rules and regulations first, and only focus on pursuing bounties.
2389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP beat ETH on: September 26, 2018, 12:43:19 PM
Oh my god! This is my first time to witnessed a differrent market situation. I'm shocked that XRP outranked ETH (your thread makes me suddenly look to CMC Grin). Well, this is only in terms of market cap not in terms of price so I think it would be still a long run for Xrp to totally beat Eth. Nonetheless, what an impressive performance done by it.

Since I missed the opportunity made by Xrp, I guess I should make an upturn by hoarding more Eth and dump it once it recovers Smiley.
2390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TOP 10 BITCOIN CITIES IN THE WORLD on: September 26, 2018, 11:08:01 AM
What a great list! I wasn't expecting that Czech Republic will top-ranked because I thought it would be US from the very beginning. For sure the current statistic can still be changed especially that there are only small gaps between each of them. But well, this is not a competition after all, let's just serve this as an inspiration for all those crypto-supported countries around the globe — to be more active on engaging with cryptocurrency.

Sad to say, there is no improvement in my conquest of finding a btc-accepting establishment/services here in our provimce up to this date. Nevertheless, I'm still hoping of the mass adoption which lead Philippines to belong on that list in the future.
2391  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you have to make big investment before you can make profit in crypto? on: September 26, 2018, 04:36:29 AM
Not so really. Imagine, did the early investors of bitcoin during its beginning days invested a lot into it? Of course not and yet they still become wealthy in the present up to the extent of even becoming a millionaire (maybe some of them only). Their journey only means that it's not necessary to invest big to earn big because the secret to success does not depend on the amount of your input but on your strategy and determination on how to make "nothing into something".
I have seen quite a number of topics here where people have been selling or asking for advice whether to sell their properties to invest them in bitcoin.
Actually, I feel pity for those kind of people because they seem got blinded already by bitcoin's promises without even recognizing the risk they might face. They're already desperate coming to the point that they now choose to sell their own properties Undecided. That's why every time somebody approach me about crypto investing I ask them jokingly "Can you endure a rollercoaster ride?" Grin

2392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Loans for new start businesses on: September 26, 2018, 04:07:52 AM
No, I haven't done this before and never will because asking for a loan is a very risky move. What will you do just in case that the business you established fail and make losses in return instead of earnings? Where will you now pay that loan? The money you get from another loan? If you will not find a better solution than this then for sure your loans will branch off 'til your life suffer to a very deep debt.

Much better if you buy bitcoin, hold it and cash out when you already made a profit. Afterwards, use the profit as a capital on your dream business. By doing this, you will not only be protected against the pressure of having debt but let's you to feel more fulfillment as an individual Smiley.
2393  Other / Meta / Re: Paying once to bypass captchas on: September 25, 2018, 10:50:08 PM
Wow! Seems you are really serious of paying money just to remove captcha-solvings. For me that's wasteful because you will pay a feature that you can FREELY have in the first place.

Anyway, if using TOR is the main reason for that bad experience then why don't you stop using it or at least use another device for accessing this forum Smiley (why not?). You should be the one who will adjust not the system of the forum since the majority of users here don't have the same sentiment as yours.
2394  Other / Meta / Re: Extra section for newbies? on: September 25, 2018, 12:02:21 PM
Making a section for the newbies' queries is not necessary at all. If you are curious and have questions in your mind then do your own research. Don't expect for an "instant ask, instant answer" situations because not all users here are willing to entertain same questions over and over again. Don't let yourself get used into spoon-feeding, try to make an effort. Besides, Beginners and Help Section is already there so take a read.
As a newbie, i am little bit curious about having a extra section in the forum where only moderator's only help and answer the questions for newbie members.
Actually, I don't get your point. Why do you want that our mods are the only members allowed to help? Do you guys really have a very hard question that even a Legendary member could not answer? I don't think so Roll Eyes.
2395  Economy / Economics / Re: My question about bitcoins economical shift on: September 25, 2018, 10:47:05 AM
If that's the case then other replies are right. It will be the same with our current monetary system. There is no need for finding equivalence if the only existing form of money is bitcoin (though seems impossible to happen), its price will now freely move without comparing to any currency.

But in my opinion, putting this into reality was still not a  very good idea because we can still see loopholes on it. The supply of bitcoin is limited, it has only a 21M btc to be mined in total. If this depletes as time goes by, what do you think will happen? Of course, the price of it will soar high. The result, imbalance in our economy. Another to be considered, if btc will be the only existing currency then how will you put a price to a particular goods if we have no basis at all. For example, how can you justify that a pair of Converse sneakers is only .005 btc and not cheaper or more expensive than that.

@OP ~ Next time, express your ideas clearer.
2396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell bounty token at a loss? on: September 25, 2018, 06:21:50 AM
If you have free Bounty tokens, would you sell at a loss?
You would never experience that if you didn't missed the boat in the first place. So next time, dump hastily as soon as you received the coins and got listed on the exchange because you will not be sure if it will be a good coin in the long run.
Personally I would wait for a better overall crypto market and sell later, because it's a bear market right now. If price rises again you can make a better profit and get more money back per coin if you wait and sell later.
The current market situation is not the only factor you should consider, be aware whether your coin has a potential or not. If you're holding a shitcoin then don't expect sure earnings when the bullish market comes because there's nothing gonna do with that. That's the reason why choosing a coin is a very crucial stage of investing.
2397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When people say Bitcoin is dead, make sure to show them this... on: September 25, 2018, 05:31:00 AM
When people say Bitcoin is dead, make sure to show them this graph.
Not necessary at all. I will not make an effort to prove them wrong. If they come up into that conclusion from whatever kind of reason, whether it's just their natural perception or creating FUD to drop the price, then so be it. As long as all of us can see that btc is beating, that's already enough for them to realized the truth.
Wow! What a great compilation of "eulogies". This made me laugh and amazed at the same time because of it's silly concept Grin.

So for all those "btc is dead" believer out there, I suggest you to visit it and enjoy— live with your own reality.
2398  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is best signature bounty campaign for newbie on: September 25, 2018, 02:47:52 AM
Hello I am looking for bounty campaign which allows to participate newbies for  their signature campaign.
many projects currently use rules to participate in the signature campaign that's is, Jr. member. for a newbie I find it difficult to find a bounty campaign for them. because now  Jr. member it is minimum for they can participate.
Hmm, not really. Usually, the sig campaigns that are currently running in the Services Section right now requires Member and up. Are you aware of even aware of that? The Jr. Member slot was removed in most of the campaigns probably because the majority of the rank of being said were spammers too: which is true in the reality.

Ps: Just to be clear, I'm not into Low Rank Discrimination. I'm just only stating what I (maybe others too) have observed.
2399  Other / Meta / Re: Banned aid should have its own board on: September 25, 2018, 02:15:47 AM
I agree. This will be great help to attain further orderliness of the forum since large portion of the Meta section are composed of ban appeals nowadays. However, this seems infeasible for implementation because it surely requires a moderator which we are lack of. Even though we already have few here, I guess they'll refuse because they can no longer afford to accept another pile of work due to busy scheds.

But if ever implemented (though I doubted), much better if this board will not only be intended for dealing with ban appeals but also to all kind of complaints about deleted posts/threads, merit abuse, negative trusts or any forum issues which will be entitled "Complaints Section".
2400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 90 percent of the coins die? on: September 24, 2018, 03:05:36 PM
Where did you get that idea? Don't believe on that one. Yeah! We knew that bitcoin greatly influence the market but it doesn't mean that almost all of the coins will die assuming the worst case scenario — btc will drop very hard — occured. Remember, it is only an influencer and not a total controller. There's a big difference between the two.

Much better for you to study more rather than listening too much to the rumors around you because not all of them are correct, Stop creating FUDs, it helps nothing at all.
