2381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 10, 2022, 02:03:44 AM
There's no way harden will leave the nets this season, all this trade discussion with Phil, you don't think the stars have the power? Are the nets really not even going to test put the big 3 of Brooklyn in a playoff run for a ring? Are they really going to do this to KD? He wants harden there, and why would they want to do this for Ben Simmons?

Likewise. Even there are lots of rumors about it, I also think that James Harden will finish the season in the Brooklyn Nets jersey.

We can't conclude it yet but I don't see the sense of trading James Harden in the mid-season where they should suppose to be complete. Brooklyn Nets shouldn't be worried since they are losing games because their key players weren't there.

Different, as an example, to Lakers, where they are losing games even the lineup is complete.

Yeah, I think Harden will finished this season as Nets. It was really the Sixers who initiated the contact with the Nets but the management says no. So I guess that rumor will not become a reality up to this season.

There's some late movement on the Jazz team, one of their heart and soul, Joe Ingles has been traded to Portland.
2382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 10, 2022, 01:43:55 AM
^^ The Sixers lost though, it was a very close game, they took the lead, but at the end of the 3rd Phoenix got some momentum and it was back and forth in the 4th quarter. But the Suns has more steam in the end. That's why I said previously that the odds seems to be off with the Sixers coming as a favorite in the game although they have the home court but the Suns is on the top of the West.
Yup, it came down the wire and the Suns were able to close it out in the last few possessions.

Another 1-1 day for me, slowly getting crushed by the juice but hopefully, i'd get a sweep tomorrow. Leaning on the Raptors and Cavs tomorrow since they're facing weaker oppositions.

Yeah, lost my parlay, I have 2 out 3  already.

I haven't put a bet in tonight's game, but I'm leaning towards Warriors they are the underdogs against the Jazz in the opening odds.

I'm seeing Jazz at somewhat low in moral because they traded Joe Ingles, I would say he is one of the leader of this Jazz team. But in this season, it seems his game has go down and that might be the reason for his trade.
2383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 09, 2022, 03:33:56 AM
^^ I think John Riel know what is on stake at this fight so better to start training hard in the Philippines before going to O2 arena and UK.

For the weight issues, he has to work hard to lose that excess pounds. Still months to go, so again, this is doable and hopefully that stomach issue that he had before won't come out again. That is the main problem here as it is viral and come back anytime.
2384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto stuck in sports betting site, now they want KYC on: February 09, 2022, 02:43:15 AM
Well from the looks of it, you have violated their TOS so that's ground for your account to be banned.
But the thing is that you have money there so their is the issue. I doubt though that you can get your money back for the simply fact, as I have said previously, there is a violation on your part. So sorry to burst the bubble for you, but chances are slim that you will get your $1,200.
2385  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrency status at the beginning of the year on: February 09, 2022, 02:12:15 AM
Throughout early 2022, the crypto market situation experienced a very sharp decline in price. However, currently the cryptocurrency market is starting to show potential to improve. Therefore, I predict the price of bitcoin will start to improve in the next few weeks.
For the past days until now bitcoin is showing a decent recovery, despite the negative fluctuations and pessimism that has prevailed since the beginning of this new year. If bitcoin stays stable around 43,000$ for some more time I will start believing we can exit the bear market very soon and reach the old good 50,000$ price range again. That is what the market needs to inspire optimism among investors once more.
Yes, the growth of the market is tremendous and now it is on the way towards $50k. The same can be reached anytime soon. Majority believe that the price will touch $50k for sure. This looks like a bubble than price correction and the same can get into conclusion depending on the price being stagnant over certain value for specific time period.

It looks like we hit a wall though, we did touch $45k very fast and now we are down to $43.
But nothing to worry though, it seems we are still in the bullish phase short term. So there is still a chance to hit $45k and then we will try our hands at that big barrier of $50k. We still have a lot of time to work that out this February or at least in the 3rd week of this month and hopefully we can get to that big price.
2386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 09, 2022, 01:41:11 AM
Riding with the Grizzlies -7.5 once more, they took down the Clippers in their last meeting and won by 12 points plus the Clippers continue to struggle due to missing key players.

I also have the Sixers to win against the Suns as they're on a back to back and on top of that it's their third game in the last four days even though the Suns have one of the best road records at the moment I feel like they're due for another loss.

I parlayed both Sixers and Grizzlies with handicap + one other team, hopefully they win their respective games.

So far they have covered the spread already, Sixers looks sharp against the Suns as they don't have answered for Joel and Tobias Harris. Tobias is playing very good after his name pop up regarding a trade that involves Simmons, averaging like 20+ ppg in his last 10 games.
2387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 09, 2022, 01:01:48 AM
Celtics vs Nets = 28-2, what an embarrassing start for the team.

But the good thing is that they made a comeback to make it a bit decent score now in the first quarter.
Not sure though if they can win against the Celtics, all of their stars are out of this game. And if I'm not mistaken they are on the top of the East in the 3rd week of January and now they might be fighting for a playoff spot.
2388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Amir Khan vs Kell Brook - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 08, 2022, 03:20:41 AM
~snip~

Khan won't be popular for nothing in the history of the  boxing world. Prime for prime, I also think he has the advantage.

But moving forward today, since already past his prime. We can't expect the thing he always do before.

Don't have an idea here who has the edge but expecting a good close fight.

Back in his prime, he was regarded as Manny Pacman of EU while he is also a sparring partner of the real Pacman of Asia. We'd highly doubt that today but during that time he is really good much as being hyped by promoters. But growing old is the worse challenge for an athlete that even the real Pacman had not escaped.

They both are not in their prime already and have long inactivity, particularly Khan. One wouldn't expect him to fight again and so it Brook. Does sound like an exhibition fight actaully.

Yes, I remember those days when both him and the Pacman are training side by side in the Wild Card gym. Those were his prime years, hands very fast with both power. There were even some news saying that they started to train his next so that so somewhat strengthen his weak chin. But we all know that you can't train to have a good chin, it's either you have it or not. Unfortunately, for Khan it is his biggest weakness as a boxer.
2389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 08, 2022, 02:37:13 AM
Also added the Heat -5.5 @1.82 as my second pick, my only concern with this pick is that Butler is still listed as GTD and Herro is GTD as well but unlikely to play.

Yep, this is already a W mate, I have the Heat with that bet together with -2.5 for the Raptors.

Both teams Heat and Raptors are healthy that's why they are on a good streak right now specially the Raptors, they are on the resurgence as Heat takes the firs spot in the East.

Suns and Warriors are looking good in their game as well, no bets for me but I will just enjoy watching Steph against OKC.
2390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 08, 2022, 01:48:48 AM
Before the start of the season, many are predicting already (including me) that the 2 teams that will face coming into the NBA Finals will be the Lakers and the Nets.
Now the Lakers are below 500 and currently at the 9th position and the Nets are in a 8 game losing streak, currently in the 7th place and only 1.5 games above the 9th spot Hornets.

Right now the Nets are in a big trouble. I think one problem of the team is their inside defense because most of the time they are playing small ball and it doesn't work for them like in this game. They gave up 64 pts in the paint against only 32 for them. I think this is one of their problem. They don't have good defenders inside the paint that can stop those bigs in the opposing team. Durant might sit up for a bit longer and TBH, it will be hard for them to go up again.
I confess that I was one of those people too... I almost made a bet with my friends saying that this season's NBA Finals would be between Lakers vs Nets (I'm glad I didn't bet lol)

Anyway... I don't know what is happening with the Nets, the Lakers are another team that also surprised me, I would never imagine that a team like the Nets or Lakers are in the situation we see today.
I sincerely hope they get better as soon as possible.
I know that the injuries of some players, lack of motivation and lack of chemistry between players can be the real reason for this bad performance of these teams!
I just see match replay Lakers vs Night, when I look at them, I believe they will rise soon, I don't know what the problem is where you are thinking like that (maybe the age factor of LeBron). Lakers catch up 21 points left and LeBron also created Triple double points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists, that look good when there is no escort from Newyork players. their mistake was in the extra 5 minutes, Seems like lose their spirit, which was just a small mistake Night was able to get the points in the last minutes.

Lebron is still playing high level basketball, so there is no problem from him. I think when AD went down, there issue has become more evident. Losing close games even to lower tier teams. But now that AD is back they started to win again and Lebron having good numbers this season. It's time for others to really step up, I looking at THT, remember he was not involved in the block buster with Washington, they rather have Kuzma, KCP and Trez and future picks And then there is also the supposedly trade about Lowry, but Raptors wanted to include THT but the Lakers don't want to. But now look at THT's game, still way below what is expected from this kid. His supposed to be the future of Lakers, but I have doubts now, just saying.
2391  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin first week price speculation on: February 06, 2022, 01:55:06 AM
the first week of January we were together with very bearish market conditions while the first week of February only saw a few percent bullrun from the previous month, it looks like bitcoin has got support again and hopes are getting better in the future. bitcoin is now at $41k where previously bitcoin had fallen at $36k or its equivalent.

This is also what I'm trying to understand, it seems that it has move, from January, now it's February and it started to be very bullish moving up to $41k and looking sharp and ready for another break out run. So maybe the best thing to do right now is see what February brings previously and look for correlation if at the end of the year we will be very bullish or not.
2392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 05, 2022, 02:10:36 AM
So can we expect that Simmons, John Wall, and Kemba Walker will eventually find a new team?

The deadline is getting closer, and there are a lot of rumors around Simmons' trade. As far as I know, the Kings are no longer interested in him, but the Hawks discuss with the 76ers the exchange of Collins for Simmons. There is also news that the 76ers are interested in Harden, and they are ready to trade Simmons and other players for him. Honestly, I think this deal is unlikely.

I don't know how Harden trade is possible. I think he is already locked for this season with the Brooklyn Nets or am I missing something?

Can't believe the Ben Simmons saga lasted until trade deadline or within All-Star game. What team will sign him based on your view guys?

Well initially it was Sacramento that is interested on him, then the news just fizzled out. Harden names pop up because Sixers is interested on him most probably next season. That's why they needed to trade Simmons now and there are rumors that they want to include Harris as well to clear some salary cap in order to get Harden. So lets hope that he will be traded in the deadline, so that this drama will be over and Ben can play again.
2393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 05, 2022, 01:49:38 AM
Casimero deserves to have a bigger fight, or a fight with Inoue to be specific, he is just trash talking so he can get the attention of the world that he exist as a champion and that they should watch him fight. It's just a strategy on how to increase the sales, we know that Casimero does not sell fight more than Inoue can, and that's because Inoue is working with a great promoter which is Bob Arum.

Maybe sales is priority but in an unification fight, regardless of the sales and the hype, both champion should meet at the ring to unified their respective titles. It's not about with the sales but the fight should happen no matter what. Bob Arum influence also a big help that both boxers no need to trash talk and the fight will be profitable by only his actions.

I guess at some point, when there's no more opponents in the line for Inoue, regardless of sales and hype, this two will have to face each other. So it's really unavoidable in their career, as they are both on the same division, has the belt (assuming Casimero will win against Butler).

Bob Arum is one of the best managers in boxing, he knows how to set up a fight that will generate money. So the Inoue vs Casimero will be profitable for him so it's just the timing on when to have this fight.
2394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 05, 2022, 01:27:21 AM
For fun last night I bet on the Lakers winning against the Clippers, and it was a exciting match. If Davis could have hit that shot.

I have Pacers ML at 3.05 right now, live betting, yeah I know this is a long shot but it seems the Pacers are looking good at this game, so let's see, it will be another good game to watch with bets against the favorite.
2395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins released during market crash on: February 04, 2022, 04:22:04 AM
The recent market crash has been a clear example that there are lots of projects that will not be sustainable over time, on the other hand some crypto projects have risen over this difficult time. One Ring  was released on Thorstarter  last week during this chaos and has experienced a 3X already, while having ongoing development. Which are your crypto picks during this crash?

The question is, are they going to be sustainable or simply another pump and dump coin in a bear market?

And as you have said, we are in the bear market and many are going to die in this cycle. And only those who are solid, who had a real use case in any field are going to survived and those market movers, like ETH and BNB will remain on top. I haven't check the crypto that you mentioned here, but I have a feeling that this spike will not last long, sorry to burst the bubble for you.
2396  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction: Low was $34K or will be ~$25K on: February 04, 2022, 02:56:49 AM
Could we not even say your 25k figure was a bit low?

I think people might look to buy at 25k or 30k so much that it COULD drop down back to the 28.3k we saw last time and then take a large bounce up from there (I made a thread here a few weeks before then saying I didn't think it was unreasonable for us to hit near 29k but not go below it, and we got into the 28k regions then so)...

The support of 30K is very strong and it is very important to hold this support to save Bitcoin from a long-term bear market.  I think the market can go in any direction but before that, the price of bitcoin should touch 28k once at least.  Maybe it's a flash crash to liquidate futures traders.  The month of February is going to be very important for Bitcoin.

This is my observation.

Support will always be there, and as long as it can defend that line, it will. But we should look at the current sentiments, fear are inside the market, volumes is very low. So maybe there is a chance that the support line could break apart if there is huge pressure coming to the market from the bears. So for me, we might see a bear price of below $30k. Maybe not this month, but in the coming month, and this could be the perfect time to buy.
2397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 04, 2022, 02:00:17 AM
Watching the Pistons vs T'Wolves, T'wolves got hot early but I love the tenacity of Pistons right now.
They are the underdog in their home court, obviously they don't have a good record, but they can bang and compete against the best specially if they are playing in their home court. The T'Wolves are the favorite here, but I wouldn't be surprised if Pistons pull a surprise upset or T'Wolves might win but not enough to cover the initial spread (-6.5 if I'm not mistaken).

The Wolves are now leading, late in the 3rd, it was KAT who took over getting fouled and going to the free throws. And it seems that the Pistons are just a 3rd quarter team, now they are trailing 7 points and up.

Grant could be the centerpiece of this team, but he needs to be consistent and so is the supporting cast. They can't just go out and play good up to the 3rd quarter alone.
2398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: February 04, 2022, 01:12:22 AM
And probably that's the definition of sports, not just to compete against each after fair and square. But it's how you gonna bounce after a lost and win again and again. Just like Manny, when he lost to Floyd, we thought that he is done already. But he come back and beat Thurman. Now it's Thurman time, to get back and fight again and reclaim his spot in this very competitive division.

This will be a test to the character of Keith Thurman. A true champion in this sport of sweet science can bounce back after a loss so i think Thurman will handle this hurdle with pride and a mindset of a true champion.

For me, he is one of the legitimate contender for this loaded welterweight division and he could defeat Spence and Crawford if given the chance to fight those champions in the future.
As for the ring rust, it's two fold, sometimes the fighter that takes a lot of break can come back strong and rejuvenated.

Actually he really need to take a rest after his defeat to Pacquiao. Not just because of the lost, but he has some injuries that needs time to heal. So he is back 100% in this fight and could be rejuvenated and shows that he is back in this division and that he is a former belt holder way before Crawford appears in 147 and Spence Jr showing himself in the welterweight.
2399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: February 04, 2022, 12:45:53 AM

Regarding a 3rd fight with Canelo, let's not close the door, Canelo's coach said in an interview that the fight can be make in the future.

I don't hear that story, if you have a source of it please do share it, I would be so interested reading this kind of interesting stuff because from what I read, it seems like no more speculation that the 3rd fight is going to happen.

Here is the source: https://www.boxingscene.com/reynoso-charlo-best-fight-canelo-he-sells-more-theres-intent-ggg-trilogy--163791

Quote
“Let’s see if something can happen in May or September. Truth is, Golovkin has raised his hand recently to fight against Canelo. There’s intent there for a trilogy,” said Reynoso. “Yeah, 168. If [Golovkin] wants he can come up. Saul can’t go down. He can't make 160 anymore.

So there is a slim chance that the door is still open for a fight with GGG, but GGG will have to move up to 168 lbs.

And if you read the interview, it seems that they are looking for Charlo in their next fight. It might not be final for now, but for sure this will be where they are heading.
2400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Son of elon on: February 03, 2022, 05:48:57 AM
I have a good chuckle with I heard the name of this coin, Lol,

Now Elon's son has a token? again, this is an obvious meme coins, of course, no one can stop you from investing and making a profit. But that is questionable though, specially if you are new in the system. You might get suckered and everything and in the end might lose some money.

So just a friendly advise, just stay away not just from this coin, but from other meme and shitcoins.
