2381  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does the future of money lie with prepayments on: November 21, 2019, 08:17:34 AM
Amazon UK seem to have started offering an opportunity to top up an account with funds and then being given a bit extra once it is added to your account.

This might have just been in October when they could get you to top up and store funds there for Christmas or it might still be going now. This is obviously offered because companies can invest the funds deposited into their own operations and generate a better interest for themselves as it was something like 10% being offered. Is this a thing that's always existed with companies or is it new? Any thoughts on whether many systems will be more like this in the future?

Large payments with btc can thus be done in the same way too.

I think that this strategy existed for ages.
It wasn't so known though, because it was not a need for big corporations.
Now that Amazon wants to implement it, it becomes a trend as more companies are going to follow the trend.

All I have to tell you is don't buy china products from online shopping

If you have one bad experience this doesn't make all Chinese products bad.
I have made purchases of Chinese products online a lot, and I am pretty happy with them.
Some of them were expensive as well, and they totally worth them the money spent.
2383  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: November 21, 2019, 08:08:30 AM
Yes global warming is real. Sea level are rising, glaciers are melting at much faster pace, abnormal weather change, floods and many more are enough to prove that we are destroying the mother earth.

The climate change is so rampant.
It is already December (Winter) and in my country we have almost 25 degrees Celcius.
That's totally not normal, usually during this period we are 10 degrees lower. And I feel that the same happens and in other places around the world causing significant negative results to places like Antarctica.

New poll up.  Please vote or vote 'other' and post which club itt if you don't think it's either United or Real.  Poch is like the hottest managerial prospect in Europe right now.
At the point Mourinho was sacked, him managing Spurs was not predictable. They reached the final of the champions league and secured a top-four spot although they had a shaky finish to the EPL. In the vein, the club Pochetino manages next would be totally unexpected. Teams like PSG, Barcelona and Bayern could be available at some points this season or during the next summer break. I wouldn't rule out the possibility of Arsenal being his next destination.

I don't think that he would be able to manage a top club such as PSG or Barca.
Indeed he did great last season, reaching the final but he didn't get any title with Tottenham, which is what really matters for a manager.
2385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 21, 2019, 07:17:11 AM
I think Mourinho signing for Tottenham is a big shot.I want to remind everyone here what Mourinho said in 2015 and that was “I would never train Tottenham,I love Chelsea fans to much to do this”.Look at where we are now,I thought he loved Chelsea fans but apparently I am wrong.

It's all about money man.
He got a huge amount of money in order to train Tottenham, why should he refuse this deal? Especially, when there was a lot of time that he didn't get an offer from any club around the world. Totally fair for me. He did the right thing.

Skateboarding
Surfing

Really? Skateboarding and Surfing are now Olympic Sports?
How is that possible when they are not an actual sport?
2387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 20, 2019, 12:08:55 PM

It is surprising that Mourinho chose to coach Tottenham. Pochettino and Mourinho cannot be compared because their experienced is different, Mourinho more longer as a coach, but I'm sure with new club Pochettino will get more success.
There are several clubs that might be interested in him, but do not know which club he will choose.

They have different experience but Pochettino is more on the modern football.
Mourinho might have chosen the Spurs as he couldn't be able to find any other team to manage - especially the big ones.
2388  Other / Off-topic / Re: Trying to improve the Airdrop Community on: November 20, 2019, 12:02:36 PM
I agree with you. Airdrops have become a problem to the cryptocurrency community lately.
This happens because people promote even scam projects as they don't read about them.
But how would you eliminate this trend? is there a way to tackle this problem?
2389  Other / Off-topic / Re: astrology on: November 20, 2019, 12:00:57 PM
do you believe in astrology signs?

No. I don't think that astrology signs are legit ones and can dedicate the future.
I read about them however just for fun. If I see a sign I correlate it with a specific time of my life and it is a kind of entertainment for myself.
2390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jose Mourinho next Job? on: November 20, 2019, 11:31:44 AM
Confirmed, Tottenham Hotspur appointed Mou as their new head coach!
https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/2019/november/jose-mourinho-appointed-new-head-coach/

Thank you for all of the participants who have predicted Madrid, Barcelona, PSG, etc. (actually, I planned to give merit to the winner). LMAO

I'll lock this thread in 24 hours while waiting for the Mou bus to arrive. He said he would bring his double bus to Tottenham, to strengthen their defense. Grin

It was impossible to predict that Totttenham would be the next stop for him.
Pochettino was doing so great last year. The team managed to reach the Champions League final with him. And this season was proven so disastrous that led him to the exit.
Let's now see the philosophy that Mourinho is going to bring to the team.
2391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: November 20, 2019, 08:58:00 AM
I like to bet on political events because I used to have a big interest in politics in the past, and some knowledge still remains. Also, if it's about something almost absolutely new to me, I don't mind learning new facts about other countries. Like it or not, politics is a part of our life, in a sense that it affects our lives directly or indirectly. So, I think if we can learn something from this field, even just in order to have better chances of winning a bet, it won't hurt.

It is not a good way of gambling in politics.
Politics can affect your life based on the elected politician. If you make a bet on someone then you are emotionally bonded with this choice and your brain might be affected and make the wrong choice when you vote because you make the bet on this politician. Those two decisions that you have to do should be separated with each other.

...Protests and clashes with police began Friday when petrol prices suddenly rose by at least 50% after government subsidies on it were slashed. Government statements said the plan is to divert the funds in order to make cash payments to low-income households...

There are also reports that protesters have begun targeting banks, after video was posted online of what appears to show the Central Bank In Behbahan, Iran being engulfed in flames as demonstrators chant...

Early report about middle class and upper class protesting in Tehran Pars is now confirmed. People are on t he streets chanting “down with the dictator” and burning Sina Bank.

Quite interesting they target the banks. It is like They exactly know who is responsible for their misery and suffering. I am not a fan of Islam for other reasons but maybe they were right for being against the interest scam. You will probably counter this with "we use interest because time has value" and i'll counter you with this: "gold is timeless."

banking cartels are same like emirs, kings or other powerholders.

They are not the same.
Banks in the middle east (Islamic Banks) are not operating like the Banks of the West.
Maybe you don't know the difference between those two categories.
They might be characterized as cartels but their goals are not the same as emirs or kings.
2393  Other / Off-topic / Re: how to be positive on: November 20, 2019, 08:43:03 AM
Often say one phrase to yourself in different situations: I do not care

That's not the best solution in overcoming our problems and be positive.
You just procrastinate and you avoid facing them. All you have to do is to build a positive mindset and tell to yourself "Challenge Accepted" without moaning for everything.
This way is going to set up your mind in facing every situation positively.
2394  Other / Off-topic / Re: What supplements or vitamins you are taking to stay fit and healthy? on: November 20, 2019, 08:13:57 AM
Nope, I don't take any vitamins or supplements. I eat vegetables all of the time and with fruits as well. I think that I don't have to take any of them at these moments because what I eat is supervised by my wife.

The nutrients that the foods we're taking is okay for my body and I guess I'm not yet into that point of needing it.

There are people that due to the hectic pace of the everyday life they don't have time to eat healthy or cook healthy.
That's why supplements are needed. I think that a multivitamin is not a bad idea to get in the morning. It can be consumed as drinking a juice.
Yes, I understand the situation of those people. Well, I guess I'm very lucky to have the woman of my life that's very hands-on with our foods.

But isn't that too much intake of multi-vitamins and supplements is bad for our health?

Indeed you are very lucky. Especially, when you don't have to cook anything.
I don't think that it is too much intake. Of course you have to keep a balance to your diet and your supplements - if you don't eat good enough supplements are going to be harmful for your body.
There are soft supplements that are for woman or children - if someone is afraid of using the strong ones they can use the soft ones.
2395  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: November 20, 2019, 07:58:48 AM
I also tend to believe that gold is one of the most optimal and less risky investments. However, this investment, for me, looks exclusively in the long term, keep this in mind.
All short and medium-term investments today involve risks; always take risks into account. Even investing in gold will not be without risk.
What is really maximally useful and less risky is investing in yourself, in training, sports and so on.

Gold is a safe way of investing your money. But how much can you make from that?
I like hyip as I am able to earn more money from that. Of course I have the risk of losing them, but I think it is more value for money investment to expect a higher return.
2396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: November 20, 2019, 07:55:30 AM
Liking the Rockets vs Nuggets game, these are playoffs team and I like to see if the Rockets can still continue with their hot streak now that they are playing against a the Team of Jokic.

I'm putting my money on the Rockets this early as odds could move, who knows.
betting on Rockets ML now, good luck guys, hoping for a big bounce back as I doubled my bet on this game.

^^^^^
please do post your picks too.

Rockets is a strong team but mostly an offensive one. They strongly lack on the defensive part.
My pick for this game would be mostly to bet on the amount of points that are going to be scored. Nuggets has also a lot of scoring solutions as Jokic is very good scorer.
2397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis ATP Finals 2019 on: November 20, 2019, 07:52:37 AM
2020 might be a break out year for some of the young players we have. Because we don't know if the big 3 can still maintain their positions because sooner or later either of the three are going to retire (because of injuries). I wanted to see someone new winning the grand slams next year, and it could be a sign that we will see "changing of the guards" very soon in tennis. Maybe it's hard to imagine Djokovic, Nadal and Federer not winning any slams in 2020, but they know that it's going to be very difficult as new set of players are hungry to break their monopoly.

I think that we are living in a new tennis era. Tsitsipas is going to have an incredible season in 2020 if he keeps himself away from injuries.
It is a great chance now to climb the ladder now and reach the top. He has all the fonds to win the difficult opponents as he is on a great form.

Pogba is 27 in March, why do we still talk about him like he’s the next big thing? At that age he should be dominating every game he plays in if he’s that good. I know he was good at Juve but that was years ago now. When will the real Pogba stand up?

You got the point correctly man.
I really cannot understand all those people discussing about Pogba's move to Juventus. He has nothing to offer anymore and all the productive years for him has pass without coming back again.
Now he is a good player for a middle class team.
2399  Other / Politics & Society / Re: USA EU TRADE WAR on: November 20, 2019, 07:47:54 AM
Yes, true. Scotland also seem to think that if they leave the UK they can then rejoin the EU as an independent nation. Absolutely won't happen. That would give the green light to separatists everywhere, from Catalonia to Bavaria.

if scots rejoin eu better be bad europeans, because the damn EU is very corrupt and under foreign lobby influence it is actively seeking to enslave all europeans to african problems, they are completely out of mind and out of that issue i completely can understand uk why they left it.

EUROCRATS are big retards.

You talk like there is not any corruption in the UK.
How about all the money that are spend for the Queen and the British royal family? It is a corruption scheme but you are not able to recognize it
2400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 20, 2019, 07:46:13 AM
There is something seriously wrong in Spurs dressing room. There was some rumours but only players know the real truth. I seriously doubt that the problem was manager but you can't sack half of your players while you can change the manager.

Anyway, I am not worried about Pochettino, he made a name for himself and he will be able to chose his next destination. In his place I wouldn't go to Arsenal for sure. They have a squad of limited talents and losing mentality. More importantly, supporters would never forgive him.

Pochettino is a great coach to my eyes he is better that Mourinho.
The Spurs needed a change and the hope that Mourinho is going to bring it. They cannot go even worse. Mourinho is going to bring some positive results to Tottenham and he is going to take the credits for that as well - stating that he is the special one.
