1381  Other / Off-topic / Re: UK COVID-19 - London Lockdown on: March 19, 2020, 08:59:33 AM
I thought that the UK is not taking any measures regarding COVID-19.
The only measure that I heard is that the elderly above 70 are forbidden to get out to the streets for 4 months.
The way that the UK has reacted to COVID-19 is so dangerous for the whole Europe and the rest of the world.
1382  Other / Off-topic / Re: What kind of life do you think is perfect? on: March 19, 2020, 08:57:46 AM
Life is difficult.
Even if you have found what you love and you are with people that you love, a moment come that destroys everything you have built and you are losing the perfection that you are living. It is always with ups and downs.
1383  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin was never meant to be a hedge against a Global Pandemic on: March 18, 2020, 11:21:48 AM
I believe in a normal Financial Crisis, Bitcoin would have fared better, but we are dealing with something that is being treated as much larger, which is a global pandemic. In 2008 people didn't hoard groceries, hoard supplies, get locked inside of their houses, have their livelihood shut down etc. This is not just a financial crisis, this is something different. There is real fear among many people that things will continue to get much worse and dangerous for a very long period of time. Bitcoin was never meant to be a hedge against a global pandemic. Gold is suffering the same fate as well, Gold is not a hedge against a Global Pandemic either. Once when the fear of the Global Pandemic absolves, Bitcoin will continue on its way toward what it is meant to achieve.

In my country, in 2008 the same situation was going on but not on those levels.
Bitcoin has the same fortune as Gold, and the rest financial markets. They are on the same category but they have different usage and value.
It is normal to see the price soaring in situations like this one with COVID-19.
1384  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC lost 3K $ in 1 day, Whales Are In Action on: March 18, 2020, 11:07:46 AM
Title say everything, BTC can drop to 4K $ even, whales are in Action.

It was a normal situation to endure such a drop.
The economic markets was dropping and probably people tried to get their funds from the crypto market and buy more in the financial markets due to the lower prices. COVID-19 has impacted all markets and definitely the crypto market is going to be impacted by it.
1385  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the right Church to attend? No right church to attend on: March 18, 2020, 11:04:31 AM
All people have a God to believe.
We are in an urgent situation and we have to protect not only ourselves but our people that are around us. We can leave church attendance behind for a little time. I know that Easter comes in a month but we have to protect people and our health. People should stay at home and not attend churches.
1386  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will bank notes replace toilet paper? on: March 18, 2020, 10:48:58 AM
Just a thought - quantitative easing is increasing, and fiat currencies are heading towards their true value of zero. There also seems to be a shortage of loo paper, and I wondered how long it will take for people to adopt an alternative use for banknotes. Smiley

We are experiencing a strong economic crash.
However, the same happened to the cryptocurrency market.
Not in the same volumes but it is a fact. We cannot say that fiat crashed and crypto didn't.
1387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2021 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Play Offs | POSTPONED on: March 18, 2020, 10:44:24 AM
Regarding Olympics, the Japanese have said that they plan to host a full event and all the planning has not stopped, neither the preparations. They are adjusting it a lot though and yes, the Japanese are meticulous to a point. They will do everything and use and show off all their tech to make sure they have clean and sterile environments if necessary with VR gear for all spectators I bet;)

As the EURO has been postponed the same is going to happen with the Olympics.
Both of the events are huge. And if we say that EURO is not so big as Olympics and they are already postponed, the same is going to happen to them. We just have to wait for the official announcement.
1388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Any Casino with good Investment Returns? on: March 18, 2020, 10:37:03 AM
Hello everyone!

I used to be an investor in CryptoGames casino.
Some days ago they announced that they stop getting funds from individuals as they believe that this is not beneficial for their organization.
I didn't make a lot of profits thus I wasn't happy, but I think that I can try one more time to invest in a casino.

Do you know any online casinos that accepts funds from individuals and provide decent profits in return?
1389  Other / Politics & Society / Re: EFFECTIVE MEDICATION FOR THE COVID-19 on: March 18, 2020, 10:14:04 AM
Drinking hot water with a slice of lemon in it seems to be one of the most effective remedies.  I believe that it is safest to keep away from pharmaceutical drugs, they probably created it in the first place.

And if you yell 3 times "GO AWAY COVID-19" you are going to keep yourself healthy.
Pharmaceutical drugs has increased the life expectancy. You cannot blame them for killing people.
1390  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The UK is moving towards forced isolation for people over 70. on: March 18, 2020, 10:10:33 AM
I gather that parliament is likely to pass an act in the near future, and this will attempt to force people over 70 to lock themselves in their homes. Well I'm 78, and they can shove that act up their fundament. It's over 50 years since I had any illness other than a one day cold, and I reckon that I have a lower risk for the CV than the fat lumps that need a walking stick to get from their cars to the surgery.

The only reason that they are targeting older people is that they have screwed up their health with statins, vaccinations and other poisons. Hopefully we can get some sensible statistical analysis about so called health care soon, and then we can move forward and benefit from the wealth of knowledge we have learnt about the workings of the body and its immune system. It has kept us going for a few milliion years, so it must have worked out the benefits.

It is very impressive that you are 78 and you are involved in the internet and in a radical community such as the crypto community.
In my opinion, it is good to isolate older people. In the rest of Europe, older people are mostly the victims of the COVID-19.
It is a way to protect elderly and keep the healthcare system in a stable situation.
1391  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus in world on: March 18, 2020, 10:05:55 AM
I think that sooner or later the virus will reach also (most of) the governs. We may head towards anarchy (crypto anarchy?) sooner than anybody would predict.

No way that the viru is going to bring anarchy.
We surely don't need that as this might spread the virus more among different countries and people.
For the time being the crypto market follows the same trends as all the economic markets in the world.
1392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 18, 2020, 09:21:03 AM
Seem Manchester united will be extended Nemanja Matic contract until June 2021. [1]

Matic is a good player for Manchester United but he is very old now.
One year extension is good in order to give him a place for retirement and help United find a player of the same dynamic and level compared to Matic.
1393  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus in world on: March 18, 2020, 09:17:01 AM
In Romania there were 3 people infected last week and 217 today. Everyday the number grew with 25-100%. Even people from the govern are infected. Prime minister entered in autoisolation.

Since Monday was declared emergency state in the entire country.

The same thing happens in every European countries.
This is because the whole European Union took measures late. As we already knew that there is a serious situation in Wuhan, China from this moment the whole world should have taken precautions.
1394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 18, 2020, 08:40:57 AM
Matuidi has been found positive for Covid19

It is normal to see another player of Juventus being positive.
Matuidi might not be infected by Rugani but he might be infected by other close people around him.
ALL players in ALL teams might be tested in a lot of short term periods in order to keep the pandemic trend in sport at it's lowest rates.
1395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19: Avoid casino, play online on: March 18, 2020, 08:26:29 AM
the risk of going out to play outside a casino is really high because of the virus, so it is much more comfortable and safer to play online at home, the gaming experience is the same if not better, and one is more concentrated and has more time to develop strategies, game skills...

You cannot play in a traditional casino in the most of the countries.
There are so many sanctions that forbid people from going to public places - at least this happens to the most countries in Europe.
So, the only way to gamble is to play on an online casino.
1396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 18, 2020, 08:24:13 AM
I think if all teams agree to end the Championship right now I think it can be done.Liverpool is already the Champion and we can all agree in this.I don’t know about the teams fighting for a spot in European competitions next year and the relegation teams. They most probably would not agree in this.I hope that the best solution is applied for both parties involved.
The big problem isn't Liverpool nor the relegation teams since LFC is de facto the first one and only a jealous team could think otherwise and for the relegation, well they can maintain them and add 2 others from the EFL for example then next year we will have 5 relegation teams.
The biggest problem is how to select those who should be part of Champions or Europa Leagues...

The teams that are going to be selected for the Champions League and Europa League will be defined from the current league table.
So, if Liverpool, Man City, Leicester and Chelsea will be the teams that will play in the Champions League next season and the same for the teams that will join the Europa League. It is the fairest way in my opinion.
1397  Other / Off-topic / Re: 6-year-old killed in a large fire on: March 17, 2020, 09:37:41 AM
There are so many different races in this refugee cap right now.
No one knows what is going on there. They kill each other, they try to harm other people. And still, more refugees want to go to Lesbos. Greece has so difficult problems with Turkey as turn keeps sending refugees to Europe in order to threaten them with those people's lives.
1398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: March 17, 2020, 09:31:00 AM
I don't believe that gambling is like day trading.
Gambling relies mostly on luck while day trading needs some knowledge and personal skills in order to do your technical analysis and interpret it in order to take the correct decision.
1399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19: Avoid casino, play online on: March 17, 2020, 09:28:03 AM
COVID-19 is still spreading all over the world, there are so many people affected by the virus, there are a lot of people who can not work anymore because of being afraid to go outside.

We should do something to prevent COVID-19 from spreading to each and everyone, if we want to play gamble, please do not go outside and find any nearest casino building just to play. I know that real life casino is better when playing because we can interact to anyone and we can also feel the ambiance of the real life casino but as of this moment, it is better to play online gambling than real life casino, it is better for you to stay at home to avoid contact to many people.

Let us help each and everyone, by simply obeying our authority by staying at home, do not go outside. Let us start stopping the virus, it will all start with ourself.

People cannot go out to gamble on traditional casinos as governments have forbidden people to visit those places.
Now, gamblers start to turn on other ways of gambling such as online gambling and crypto gambling. It is a great chance to spread the crypto gambling idea in ordinary people and adopt them a crypto mindset.
1400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19 and its effect in Gambling World on: March 17, 2020, 09:24:52 AM
Coronavirus is going to give place to online casinos.
As all people and more and more countries pose sanctions to their people in order to stay home, people will find ways to gamble online. I hope this is going to raise awareness for the crypto gambling industry in order to bring more mass adoption.
