2381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why decentralized ? on: September 28, 2019, 04:00:41 PM
And I fear that private coins will have to go into the shadows. Already now they are under rather strong negative pressure. After all, their use deprives the power of instruments of control over citizens.

Ofcourse and there wil be much more preasure in upcoming years. But that si how it is. Remeber this: First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. It seems we are slowly leaving the laughing phase.
2382  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 28, 2019, 03:22:09 PM
Care to explain why?

Caring about the environment is for pussies. You're supposed to eat raw meat and fart diesel fumes if you want to be a right wing Alpha in this day and age. If you want to prove yourself go bleach a coral reef and burn down a rain forest.

He dont care of environment. He care of his electricity. He is producing it for himself. You depend on the country to provide it for you. Who is socialist here? You are.

Future and in soem countries allready a reality is that everyoen will produce electricity and freely trade it with whoever eh wil want. Or donate it to whoever he wil want. And buy it from whoever he will want.   No matter what you socialist will want to tell us!!!

Anthony Pompliano, Morgan Creek Digital, joins 'Squawk Box' to discuss the price of bitcoin and the future of the currency.
very nice Interview here
https://www.cnbc.com/video/2019/09/27/people-will-choose-a-currency-that-the-government-cant-control-bitcoin-pro.html

maybe another reason is about privacy, so i still believe if the future of privacy coins is bright ?
what about you ?

Digital money has to be decentralized and without transparent ledger. Otherwise it is not real money.
2384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: INVESTING BASED ON MERE PREDICTIONS on: September 27, 2019, 09:32:04 PM
Some of these people are yet to recover from lost to the investment at the time bitcoin traded at over $18,000. We have seen another one recently with the last and very short bull run.

Almost no one bought Bitcoin at over $18000. Price was that high nt even for 24 hours.  Even $12000 Bitcoins existed onyl for a month. You had to be lucky to bought them at that price. Even cureent price of $8000 did not exist for more then half year. That gives you a lot of chances to buy this high but still you also had plenty chances to buy Bitoin at lover tehn $8000 in last 2 years.

Bitcoin Price Dropping - Are You Scared?

It is as it is planed. Bitcoin price should reach $10000 only at the end of the year but we allready had $10000 Bitcoins in June. That was a suprise. Those 5 montsh of constant price increase. A big surprise I would never predict. What is happening right now is totaly normal. Price can easily go down to $6000 before recovering. But can also stay where it is right now. We are not hihg or low right now. Just perfect.
2386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 27, 2019, 06:11:28 PM
70k of coins brought on binance in last few hours?

Big volume spike.

Binance added monero margin trading liek a month ago. People love to get burned or make large profits. Oh those are teh peopel that then get haircuts.  I mean not those, but the ones that lend to those margin traders Tongue

Oh and price was sub $40 only a month after I predicetd will not go under $50. and it stayed under $50 fro months.  It is funny how we just adapt to the new reality.
2387  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin cross 3K USD this year? on: September 27, 2019, 05:46:35 PM
It seems to bear market. Should I hold BTC now?

LOL you got a posible nightmare for you to sell here:

I think BTC will plumb to 20K at the end of 2019 Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

If you are wiling to take the risk and sell and then price of Bitcoin goes to $20k you can do it. Remeber those taht risk can profit. But also they lose. Or you just hold and even if Bitcoin not get 20k this year but next year you dont lose anything but gain.  It is up to you.

The Latest Crypto Price Dip Is Fueled By Fake News Relating to Quantum Computers

It is actualy because there was to much hype. Possibly around BAKKT. Borrom happened at end of last year at $3000. Then in March price slowly started growing. It is all fine with thta. But price was increasing for full 5 months. What is one of records in Bitcoins 10 years history. And even after that price went mainly sideways and not realy corected. Now corection is due. But that dont mean much. We are not taht high anymore.
2389  Economy / Economics / Re: CASHING OUT YOUR CRYPTO-CURRENCY PROFITS on: September 26, 2019, 10:38:17 PM
How will you tell (or reveal) to your Bank that the huge daily (or weekly) deposits into your Bank Account are from crypto-currency profits?
- Would you go to your local Bank Branch and tell them ahead of time, that you are a crypto-currency investor BEFORE you make huge deposits?
- Would you go to your local Bank Branch and tell them that you are a crypto-currency investor AFTER you make huge deposits?

This question is important, especially for people of modest income that SUDDENLY start to make huge profits from crypto-currency.

You dont have to tell anything. For sure tehy will ask you when will be to much. What you have to do is to report your profits to your tax office and then pay tax on capital gain.
2390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 26, 2019, 06:49:29 PM

Sorry, you gotta DYOR.

Heh, umm actually kinda sorta seems to me that asking for info from well-established long-time forum members on sites like this, about shit that's happened in crypto space... IS doin' his own research due diligence study background etc etc, ain't it?

Just sayin'... lol

P.S. I'd like to know too about this clams-raid whatever happened?  Fuckin' Polo is no love lost on me either over the time, fuck those fuckers but still what's it about exactly?  I hadn't heard anything on it either.

https://www.ccn.com/poloniex-users-threaten-to-sue-after-losing-13-5m-in-clam-flash-crash/

tl;dr Polo had an extremely illiquid shitcoin as part of their margin lending/trading system, price dropped 70% in an hour, then Polo socialized losses to all BTC lenders in the form of 17% haircut.

The haircut that was partly repayed and a month or two ago they give you chance to not pay fees or soemthing for your loss untill all loss is fully repayed.  So if you actively trade you can get all back fast. Here https://medium.com/circle-trader/lending-pool-loss-update-2-trading-fees-are-now-being-credited-to-impacted-lenders-more-actions-dad6840298ef

But to be clear this loss happened only to those that had tehir coins lending on Polo and earning profit doing so. I personaly had coins on Poloniex and had no loss doing that. Also no profit. Smiley
2391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Earn 1% in 24 hours on: September 26, 2019, 06:12:50 PM
Earn 1% in 24 hours

Would you belive that after you do all this price might be 10% higher or 10% lower?  So you might gain 11% or lose 9%.  You belive taht si worth?  Or is more worth to research what coins wil be used 10 years form now and try to buy them as much as you can and securely store them?
2392  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 25, 2019, 04:17:25 PM
One thing is sure by now. FED dont print those $75 billion a night to buy Bitcoin.
2393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2 Years of bear market.. what to expect next on: September 25, 2019, 12:43:22 AM
i don't know what on earth would trigger the bullrun in the alts. i think we have seen enough of this bloodbath there is about 8 month left in the bitcoin next block halving and still market condition is not improving. is there will be any improvement in the alts or they all will die

The ones that have no use case will die sooner or latter. There is no logic not to. Those that have usecase will start gaining value when that happens.  Wen they gain value just because of stupid money entering it as it happeend in 2017, then it also loses value fast. Since stupid money is not loyal. Oh and if we have recesion next year, that will be a total bad news. There is no stupid money in recesion time.
2394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Grin Observer - GRN/BTC - Price Movement and Discussion on: September 24, 2019, 08:54:01 PM
13000 satoshi mark checked. I was just thinking today how Grin lately stands strong just below 20k mark and then BAM.
2395  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to buy a bitcointalk profile via escrows? on: September 24, 2019, 07:33:06 PM
Hey guys.
I am interested in buying a profile here as I do not have time to improve mine. I want to buy either Junior, Member, or Full Member. Not sure yet. Could you suggest which one would be the best choice (logically higher rate has more advantages but is it worth it?)
1. Do I have to pay only with bitcoin or altcoins for a profile if I want to use escrow service? Or is there any other payment methods such as pay pal, credit card, others?
2. Can anyone advice me trusted escrows?
3. I am going to use it for IEO which means our partner exchange is handling the marketing as well so does it worth to buy a profile here to announce IEO?
thanks in advance

You can buy "Copper Member" for yourself that act same as Jr Member and you can post pictures on teh forum imedeitely. You need to donate soem small sum of BTC or Grin to the forum.  Here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote  It cost Copper - 0.00240385 BTC
2396  Economy / Economics / Re: Bakkt released September 23 Is it going to pump or dump the price? on: September 24, 2019, 05:15:34 PM
Bakkt released September 23 Is it going to pump or dump the price?

Thy are emptying their Bakkt Bitcoin warehouse. They filled it at the begining of year with cheap $3000 Bitcoins and now are selling those and making great profits.
2397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron is on SEC’s radar? on: September 24, 2019, 04:21:35 PM
Tron is on SEC’s radar?

Any coin that was started with ICO or any kind of crowdfunding is on SEC radar since it is a security. Any. From ETH on.
2398  Economy / Speculation / Re: How Bakkt will influence Bitcoin price? on: September 24, 2019, 02:38:09 PM
BAKKT is now dumping those Bitcoins they bought at $3000-$4000 at start of this year. They will triple their money. Pretty much mission accomplished.
2399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is not a ponzi scheme, Remember???????? on: September 23, 2019, 11:49:40 PM
Remember that it is not a ponzi scheme where your money magically increases over night. Patience is key

Proof of Stake and Masternode coins are all ponzi schemes.  ICOs are mainly securities.
2400  Economy / Speculation / Re: The recession is going to pump the price of Bitcoin? on: September 23, 2019, 10:21:06 PM
If other markets are hit and the same people are liquidating all their assets (including crypto) then I think there is no industry that won't be affected and that includes the crypto industry. In a recession there is really no safe haven that is built to stand it because what is affected is the people around it not just the market within. If a lot of people are needing some cash on their hands right now then there is really no choice to go but to liquidate all their assets. The turning point in any recession is of course if you have an extra cash lying around for investing, buying it in the recession is good but of course the profits will have to wait after the recession is over. I just don't see in any kind of scenario where only the crypto market is bullish during the recession.

actually during a recession people do not liquidate their "assets" in fact they start gathering more because during a recession fiat is losing its value (buying power) so if you convert it to assets you can save yourself from becoming poorer. it is not so much about needing cash in hand, it is more about surviving.

Money gain value during recesion. Houses and land loses value. Stocks loses value. Cars loses value. If everthing lose value in money that makes value of money stronger and not weaker.
