Ain't gonna happen

Between the sale of the house plus what cryptos were recovered, minus U$495K in lawyer fees, claimants will be able to divy up ~ U$1M pro rata. I envision lawyers pissed because Paul Vernon got more than they did out Cryptsy.

Is the crowdsale still on?

The Crowdsale ended on March 21st, but the test network will be released on June 28th, allowing you to acquire test tokens and check out the system. The main network launches in September, which is when participants can withdraw their coins from the exchanges.

So we currently cannot buy tokens from people who bought them in the crowdsale? What's the price of the testnet, is it similar to crowdsale?

Test Network tokens are free, we will send them to whoever downloads a wallet and requests them.  We ask that anyone who does this submits any bugs they encounter, even if it's a typo.

For purchasing tokens before the main network launches, some exchanges have opened IOU trading, but you will not be able to withdraw them until September.

Please see our position on Futures / IOU trading here:

Keep up the good work while I try to keep my negative comments to a minimum.

When will we this ico sir?I think it is almost a month since you posted this but no roadmap is available yet

Still a tad behind, bud, while conducting ongoing talks with potential partners. Damn near having the exchange aspect of YuTü.Co.in worked out with Modulus (my initial choice) being its backend.

What is up with your fantasy about cupping men's balls? all I ever see you post about is some insatiable desire to cup someones balls. Damn dude! Go cup your own balls if you have any.

KERMY, you're well-versed as to what the humor surrounding "cup balls" is, stemming from the infamous exchange between Marshall Long and Josh Garza of GAW. Ergo, when said clause is espoused, it's done so under the guise of humor and not fantasy unless, that is, it's a Tuesday, then all bets are off.

Proof that you're versed:

Hah!  Lotsa luck, GAWSuit.  Nice fairy tale.

Wait until the SEC gets their hands on Garbanzo.

Yours is the fairy tale. The reality is Josh Garza v SEC. Coming to a courtroom near you soon.

Why do you think this is a good domain?

The name just seems to have a snazzy ring to it.

That said, quit trollin' my thread. I knew I should've made it self-moderated.  Tongue Tongue Tongue

Not me! I bought 4 at ten cents each and sold at twenty cents, doubling my money, fearing that that may be as high as it will ever get again. I now have enough money to buy ... SHIT! ... I'm still a quarter short. Can somebody loan me twenty-five cents USD? I'll pay you back upon profiting on my next investment.

@Gleb Gamow
No idea. I was only away from crypto for a few years and returned a few weeks ago... it beats me
Huh

I'm really confused now. How is that now you don't know what those 12 addresses are when just the other day you referred to them here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1173703.msg19698396#msg19698396 - in referencing a prior post by me here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1173703.msg19660741#msg19660741?

Further, you didn't know who Mark Karpeles was, but have recently cited Mt Gox myriad times, Mark being its CEO since 2010. Are you saying that you haven't been on this forum since prior to then?

Are you familiar with what those coins are that I linked to?

Nope but I guessed they are Cryptsy wallets?

Dude, it seems you're not up to speed at all pertaining to Cryptsy, confirmed by you getting caught in the trap I set.

How is that everybody else on this thread is 100% aware as to what https://blockchain.info/tx/c7b46a79fd8887038bd3a8e884b04820038415a60e0b9d2c2f5bcff68a2687bf is with the exception of you?

FAKE. He will never die.

So, is Batman still alive as well, with Adam West faking his death?

JollyGood, your post got me a thinkin' and sure enough I found 12 accounts that have been sitting idle for a spell: https://blockchain.info/tx/c7b46a79fd8887038bd3a8e884b04820038415a60e0b9d2c2f5bcff68a2687bf

Thank you for the reply Gleb Gamow. This means that there might be others that have not yet been identified.

The question about why these BTC are sitting there doing nothing is an important one. It could be because the wallet holder no longer has access to them. It could also be because the wallet holder is waiting for the value to increase and is in way bothered about the time frame involved. It could be a whole host of other reasons.

If any of these coins are stored on online wallets with companies such as Coinbase and alike then surely the onus is on those companies to block ex-Cryptsy staff access to those wallets and provide the authorities with all available data on the people logging in to their online accounts such as IP addresses and email addresses.

Is there any hope that any of these coins will ever be recovered?

Has anyone actually checked the BTC trail?

Is there a wallet out there that is completely associated with Cryptsy that has huge amounts of BTC and it has NOT been moved out and spread between other wallets?

Basically, is there a Cryptsy wallet out there that has lots of BTC but is sitting idle with no transactions going either in or out? If so, the fundamental question is "why" is no one withdrawing from it?

A very sad news. The hero of my childhood .

See Gleb?  You got the newbies believing their hero is dead.  Trump should have a word with you about "fake news".   Undecided

In light of the above, I'll be holding a press conference which will not be recorded for posterity. Tease as to what it'll curtail: The entity now know as Clint Eastwood may or may not be an inhabitant of a ship orbiting Nibiru, with copies of my speech handed out by Nancy Lieder after the live announcement.

I hope Paul Vernon makes a plea bargain with the authorities in the U S of A in which he is allowed to return back "home" to Miami (or where ever) and in return he surrenders the $7m or so that he stole.

Add to that an extra 50% on top of the original losses as a form of compensation so that makes his pay up around $10.5m and finally for him to pick up the legal fees so the lawyers will not eat in to the final fee.

That leaves Paul Vernon with well over $10m and that is enough for him to live in Miami or anywhere else with his ex-wife and his Chinese girlfriend.

Come on Paul Vernon, have some heart...

Where exactly are you thinking paul got all this cash? He ran off to China to start his new exchange bitebi9, and it failed miserably because he was trying to convince everyone he was not involved. Even the Chinese company was saying they are not involved with cryptsy while using the code right outta the box. In any event, I Dont believe that he is the one who stole the 13k btc in the first place. He would have been smart enough to liquidate it fast and THEN take off.

Whoever stole those coins (I believe) lost / destroyed the keys. more than likely cause they were gonna get caught and didnt want to be found having them. There is no other reason for the coins to still be sitting in that wallet. Unless the person who stole the coins is in jail and will try to recover them when they get out. Additionally,  There is no evidence that Paul is the one who wiped the servers that I am aware of. They were wiped for sure, but what would paul have gained from it? He already stole everything he could carry, and ran off not caring what was left as he was never coming back. No matter what was found on those servers, he would never have faced any repercussions over it. The server wipe looks more of a cover up after the fact. An employee who decided that they would get in trouble if anything were found on that server showing the truth about how much they knew. If the employees knew about the whole hack and stolen coin thing, they would be implicated and might even face jail time as they are unable to run away and leave the country like paul. So who had more to gain here? Try to figure out who had anything to gain from trashing the servers.

Just me looking around... what do I  know.

Was there a login trail as to where the person was located who erased the servers? If I recall correctly, there's certain parts of the servers that ONLY Paul Vernon had access to. Please correct if I'm wrong, guys.
2396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase hacked!! Eth DOWN, on: June 21, 2017, 09:42:22 AM
Coinbase has been hacked!
ETH has been effected!

Please site:

https://status.coinbase.com/

should see major sell off..

Beware...

They'll fix it by claiming it was a hack and roll back all ETH prices to the ~U$100 mark in settling up-to-date transactions with CB's ETH holdings not affected.

Google news only aggregate the news, they don't reseach them and only index the ones that are 100% true.

You made my point, to date (when the above was penned) Google indexed searches to include news outlets verifying Clint Eastwood's death.

To further demonstrate that his [real] death wasn't a hoax, today we're able to see ...

All of which leads any reasonable man like myself to conclude that that person now known as Clint Eastwood is an imposter, a clone specifically created to bring chaos to the world.

Aside: I now know how the mind of a Flat-earther works. This tidbit NOT related to this thread.

Even if the servers are deleted if there is any way to prove it

Yes, via photoshopped screenshots and altered emails, and you're golden.

U mean Lyin' Liars lying about other Lyin' Liars??

Exactly, with Leroy Fodor undoubtedly inflating his lost so to at the end the day use the windfall to rebuild the largest bitcoin mining farm in all the Philippines complete with a west-facing solar array on a hot tin roof surrounded on three sides (not the south) by towering trees powering the farm with enough energy left over to run the grocery store, disco, internet cafe, and living quarters in the basement. Patrons visiting Leroy's sorry-as Sari Sari will again be treated with roasted hog cook daily on his piggery served with fresh mangos and coconuts sourced from his organic farm. this is a hoax , clint is still alive and kicking.

I'll believe it when Clint tweets that he's alive at https://twitter.com/Eastwood.

Until then I believe that he's in that great Ecstasy of Gold in the sky.
