241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook is banning all ads that promote cryptocurrencies on: March 20, 2018, 03:10:41 PM
I didnt really see this happening. I can still see some accounts adverstising crypto everyday. And how does this banning works? If wee share or repost something from and ICO page (like for the Facebook Campaign), is it included in the ban? Because all my posts about crypto is still present.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Airdrops Profitable? on: March 20, 2018, 02:51:50 PM
Hi everyone. I've tried participating in a couple of airdrops but haven't gotten any coins yet. For those of you who have, how do you go about making anything out of airdrops? Is it worthwhile or just the usual pump and dump?

Airdrops are amazing and some really can give a lot of income. Profitable is out of the question since these are free and you do not need any money to pay, so either way you could not lose even if the coins are dumped. Just be careful with the current airdrops that asks for donation though.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not sell your crypto! on: March 16, 2018, 03:30:34 AM
As I have seen this already too many times since past few years, I believe it would be beneficial to share my experience with crypto markets. Do not sell your coins/tokens when the market is dropping, it's just a pure speculation and perhaps market manipulation from whales who only target to earn on whatever the price moves they can achieve. If you're reasonable, sell when market is high and buyer/hold when market is bleeding. I hope this helps you to decide  Wink

I really felt so worried right now, but with experiences from past movements of crypto prices, it is just enough for me to hold my coins. So many times I regretted when I sold my coins once the market starts to bleed, but maybe this time I'll make the right choice.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red. red....RED...how bad is your portofolio affected? on: March 15, 2018, 02:52:38 PM
75% loss so far...and counting...what about you?

Well I just bought more luckily with these cheap prices and wish I could have more capital. I know anytime these prices are going green again like it always was, going down but then rising again. People who knows this business are holding their coins and even investing more, so no worries.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum below $600 on: March 15, 2018, 02:45:49 PM
What is happening now? Ethereum is now struggling to meet the expectations on its eco-members. Anyway, within each worst situation, there is an advantage. This is the right time to buy more ethereum and make some good profit during upswing.

I was really regretting that I bought when it started to hit below $700 without knowing it is still going down. But anyway, anyday from now it will still rise back up so lets just wait or invest more until then. Very good time for investment.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops?? on: March 14, 2018, 01:11:07 PM
Some of you can tell me what are Airdrops?? thank you very much

Airdrops are tokens that are being distributed from coins/project creator that are free or by completing simple tasks only. You can join in airdrops even if you are just newbie or hero. This is the best way to earn when you are still starting without spending something.

There are websites that lists current airdrops like airdropalert and some are in the telegrams.

247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid of hackers? on: March 14, 2018, 12:58:43 PM
Who wouldnt be afraid of hackers? Especially with bitcoin which has no physical form, this is the worst nightmare that could happen to you in cryptoworld, your cryptocurrencies stolen without a trace and there is no one you could ask help from. You couldnt even ask help from authorities because I dont think this will be covered in their job.  Maybe hardware wallets are safer than online wallets.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a currency? on: March 14, 2018, 07:30:13 AM
I found a video on YouTube https://youtu.be/qTxPfxmkLIY that according to this man (Warren Buffett) said "Bitcoin doesn't meet the definition of a currency" and he said that "he would not be surprised if bitcoin is not around in 10 or 20 years".

Is he a hater of bitcoin? while other big names appreciate the bitcoin.

Your thoughts?

Well the man has a point that bitcoin could not be a currency and a lot of people holding bitcoin treated it as an asset and never use it for purchase because of some reasons. But saying that it will not be around in 10-20 years, I think he is mistaken. Bitcoin could even be more expensive by that time since a lot of people are already getting involved in cryptocurrency. If it didn't die before when it was not popular, I doubt it will happen now when it has so many supporters already.
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever borrowed fiat to get btc? on: March 14, 2018, 01:46:32 AM
Whether it be buying btc or buying equipment to mine btc. Did you ever borrow fiat to make your purchase? I have not. Just curious if anyone ever has.

Well I borrowed fiat money once to buy bitcoin when I was just starting because I cant wait to have my bitcoin even if its just a bit. It is actually money for payment, I though I'd borrow it for a week or two to buy btc and then sell 2 weeks later when the price is higher. I got profit though, but its to small.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After 3 months, what do you have? on: March 13, 2018, 03:37:57 PM
I am successful since I began to invest until now. The prices raised. I invested in different coins because I like to have more options

Good for you sir, I haven't had the luck like you had. Its so difficult to land on promising coins to invest with aside from bitcoin and ethereum, both which are too expensive to start investing with. I am still looking for worthy altcoins to invest with and hold for 2-3 year because there is nothing I can do in 3 months as I have observe.
251  Local / Pamilihan / Re: PNB looks into use of bitcoin! on: March 13, 2018, 03:34:42 PM
Maybe its about time they accept the usage of cryptocurrency. Sooner or later matatanggap na rin worldwide and crypto so instead of finding faults, they should find ways on how to properly regulate it para at least hindi naman tayo mahuhuli sa ibang bansa. Malay nating napakalaki na pala ng total income ng mge bitcoiners dito sa bansa natin, makakatulong pa sa economiya.
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin an asset or a currency? on: March 13, 2018, 03:26:06 PM
Clearly for me bitcoin is an asset. For now I never had any idea on where to spend bitcoin directly without converting it to fiat money so being a currency is out of the question. Maybe in other countries it could be a currency, but definitely not in our country for the moment.
253  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is better Trade or Invest? on: March 13, 2018, 03:23:01 PM
Investing is a risky process, not knowing how your coins would become in the future, but trading is more riskier for me. You have to study a lot to learn additional information about every coins emerging to get a wide pool of coins to trade with. Small mistake in buying can lead you to big losses when you are not careful.
254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start Trading for newbie on: March 12, 2018, 03:12:40 PM
I want to start investing in Trading someone can help me how can I start , What things to do and how ?

Answer so much appreciated thanks ..

Try to signup some exchanges market like Binance, Hitbtc, Yobit etc. Observe first how coins work and trading and then maybe later on you'll get the hang of it and could start trading in small amounts as trial and error. When you get the confidence, then maybe you can start trading bigtime and hold longer.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After 3 months, what do you have? on: March 12, 2018, 03:09:28 PM
Since I joined the crypto market. My gain is zero. I only have experiences and lessons. Does that have been called successful? Huh  Undecided

When I was 3 months old in bitcointalk, I was only able to earn from airdrops. I think you should also join in earning from bounties aside from trading in markets because you will also learn a lot from joining bounties including how coins work.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can go wrong! on: March 12, 2018, 02:50:44 PM
If we learn from our mistakes, what words of caution would you like to share.

As a full member already, I still can't say enough that I already learned from my mistakes. You can't really be sure in this cryptoworld, you'd be mistaken now because you sold your coin too early, but then later on you'll also regret for holding your coin a bit longer. It might just be me but I think this is more about luck.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest or bounty? on: March 12, 2018, 02:47:10 PM
For now I'd difinitely go for bounties as a start-up since I am just new to cryptocurrency and can say that there is still too much for to learn especially in trading coins. With bounty, I can only lose time instead of money from investment. Maybe when I earn enough, I'll go for investment, with enough knowledge and trading techniques too.

I was really amazed and felt lucky to have joined this challenge because of the criticism at the end of it.I should have first joined in something like this when I was a newbie up to jr. member. I was also able to trace and see which posts are good and substantial. I'll try to improve my posts and maybe join again if this is still available. Thank you so much for the chance.
