321  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will fall down on december on: December 01, 2017, 09:54:21 AM
Bitcoin is rising too fast. It is not normal. How do you think?
I predict Bitcoin will fall at 7k on December

Its fascinating how people can can be predicting bitcoin fall by the end of December when others are also predicting that it could also get high with $15K by the end of the year. But for me, either way we bitcoin holders will benefit whatever the case be. If it goes down then I could buy more bitcoin because its cheaper. but I highly doubt this will happen. It might even rise up to $12-13K by December. We've seen how bitcoin moves lately, its possible.
322  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Hit $15,000 before year end on: December 01, 2017, 08:55:32 AM
Recently we witnessed another all time high in the price of BTC where value was above the $11,000 mark before a drop to around $9,200, Should we expect another ATH around $15,000 before the year runs out?

I don't think this could happen considering the time of only about 30 days. And since bitcoin has gone south this past days, I think It'll need time for recovery before rising back. I'm predicting $12k-$13k for a more possible rate by the end of the month.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Easily Discouraged with Dips? on: December 01, 2017, 07:27:09 AM
When I first got involved in cryptoworld last August , I was really discouraged when bitcoin hit so low (like almost $3K) and almost lost interest in it. And I have been asking my friend who are veterans in this if it is natural for bitcoin to drop  and they said it was natural for bitcoin to drop but not that low. So I was  really discouraged, and didnt realize it was the best time to buy bitcoin because eventually, it will rise back and even with more expensive rate.

Right now, whenever there is a dip in bitcoin, I'll just be happy because it was another opportunity to invest more in bitcoin a little cheaper.

Well anything can happen and its still a long time for December, but I dont really think bitcoin will go down this far. Many bitcoin holders have faith in its strength, and still hold their btc no matter what. So this bitcoin fall is just temporary and most probably will rise back by the end of the month.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you picky with ICOs? on: December 01, 2017, 06:57:21 AM
Are you picky with ICOs?

Frankly, I hardly invest in ICOs because of how picky I am. So far there are only three ICO I have invested in and fortunately, I earned profit by dumping ones the price is right.  I am very doubtful of a lot of ICOs nowadays because most of it are either scam of just plain failure because everyone tend to jest sell their coin to earn and hold bitcoin.
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: December 01, 2017, 03:41:27 AM
I don't actually consume porn, but I do think it's a pretty good idea.

Well, me neither. But some people do, this industry is making several billions a year [citation needed]. So, it's good promotion for BTC.

Im not saying that Im not into porn but anyways, you're right to say that is good promotion for bitcoin, and nay other services/goods that accepts bitcoin is good for its circulation. Although we might not credit this one, but as long as we are holding bitcoin, this can also affect us.
327  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Repost: Philippines is considering regulating Bitcoin! on: December 01, 2017, 03:32:27 AM
328  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Philippines Board nagiging social media. on: December 01, 2017, 03:26:08 AM

329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: December 01, 2017, 03:05:44 AM
Based on what I have experience about a lot of altcoins, I really think that a lot of them a potentially useless in the end. Most of them only give beautiful promises about their projects but eventually their coins just got dumped and their prices drops like rain. Its really very hard to predict which altcoins have a future because so far, only a bit have made it.
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, is it worth spending time collecting it? on: December 01, 2017, 02:46:16 AM
Is it worth spending time to collect Bitcoin rather than having a daily job? What I mean is that can bitcoin be more economical? Has it ever happened that people lose their investment value rather than benefit from spending it on bitcoin?

Right now I dont think its better to prefer bitcoin than my daily job. I see bitcoin as investment and cannot be my primary source of income. Yes I also try to earn bitcoin online but only when Im vacant and free from my current job. If only earning bitcoin is stable, then maybe Id consider leaving my job for it.
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dumping!! on: December 01, 2017, 02:34:33 AM
Why bitcoin price decreasing, now the price is $9,346.22 !! what is the causes of this dump ? Also all of alt coin dumped.

It was nothing to worry. Ive have my worries first last September when bitcoin has become less than $4k and thought it might be the end of bitcoin. But after bitcoin recovered and became stronger, my faith became stronger. This is temporary, it will rise back up again.
332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: November 28, 2017, 10:53:53 AM
I really didnt have that much difficulty explaining bitcoin to my son (13 years old) because he is into computers and it just took him a bit to relate. But the problem I got with him is that he is not that interested in it yet, probably because he is not really thinking he'll earn a lot of money with it. But I think eventually, he'll follow my footstep.
333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: November 27, 2017, 02:06:36 PM
Bitcoin trading these days has become so rucreative that I am tempted to quit my present job which is not giving me enough time to explore more out of bitcoin world...

What's your take on this, should I go ahead and quit?

Thanks

Its really up to you,  since you didnt specify your type of job and how much you earn by that.  If you can do both your job and trading,  theres no need to quit.  But if you only hVe small income and demanding time with your job and earn more in trading,  then go for it.
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding bitcoin Greedy? on: November 27, 2017, 09:13:30 AM
I think some of us already didn't realize this, but its true. The more bitcoin price rises, the more people tend to hold their in hope that it will make them millionaires someday. But who could we blame, we've seen how bitcoin has become in this past years and have already regretted for not holding a long time ago. Greedy or not, I think holding bitcoin is also smart.
335  Economy / Speculation / Re: Selling Bitcoin on: November 27, 2017, 09:02:53 AM
I'm a week into this whole bitcoin thing so be easy on me. I wonder why you would ever sell a BTC ... For example: you buy 100 dollars worth of BTC but the price drops drastically. Why would you sell it when its that low? You KNOW it's going to go up again. You could wait a month (for example), the price will be up again. Or am i totally wrong here?

I think there already a lot of people who are holding their bitcoin whatever the case. The bitcoin drop on August with the banning of ICO in China was sure a big crisis for btc but it managed to recover and become even stronger. So bitcoin holders now have more faith in btc after that, that;s why there's no reason to panic and sell your btc if it goes down.

In my case, I only sell my bitcoin when I really needed the money, its price maybe low or high. Either way, in my computation, I gain already anyway.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: November 27, 2017, 08:50:28 AM
is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? anyhow this money sits in the bank and do nothing for!

Definitely it is risky. And by now you should be aware that investing in bitcoin is risky and that you should have already accepted that the moment you got involve. Investing in bitcoin and any other cryptocurrency has no real security, so always stick to the saying that you should only invest what you can afford.  But if you can afford to lose all your money that is just sitting in the bank for nothing, you do that.
337  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I Be Scared Of Hackers If I Have Lot of BTC. on: November 27, 2017, 08:46:31 AM
I think you should be. We have a lot of reports of bitcoin being hacked everywhere, although there are no really solid evidences for such happening, what are you going to do if ever if happens to you (with your lots of btc). If I am in your place, Id rather not stock my bitcoins in one wallet, try to divide it in many wallets so if ever one wallet got hacked, at least not all of your btc is gone.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are The Banks Scared of Bitcoin? on: November 27, 2017, 08:43:25 AM
I dont think banks are really afraid of bitcoin. You cant really tell everyone to save in bitcoin instead of saving in a bank. Its true that you may profit a lot while holding your money in bitcoin, but there's the risk that a lot of people are afraid of. What is their bitcoin disappears? Who will they report to? Unlike banks, where there is actually the banks staff you can immediately refer to, while  problems you may encounter in bitcoin, you can only refer to searching solutions in google or forums.
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin = Laundering on: November 25, 2017, 06:13:31 AM
I am not afraid I will be suspected of doing money laundry, because I am only a small player and my income from bitcoin is still normal for income in my country  Grin

I'm totally with you on this... for now. But we can't always say that same income we would get if we continue on this forum, our pay could be bigger and before you know it, you'll be covered in the range of money laundering. I cant really be sure if we'll always be small players, seeing bitcoins rise, my current bitcoin (which is still not in range of money laundering) might triple or quadruple in the coming days.
340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC be a major in college? on: November 24, 2017, 12:12:16 PM
Not specifically BTC but cryptocurrencies in general. You think it will become a course of study / college degree at some point?

I dont think this will be possible.  Cryptocurrencies are digital currencies, and so they just currencies like our fiat money right now.  If we didnt even have courses and explicit studies for the currencies in the world,  I dont think thered be any for cryptocurrencies as well.
