Alguém sabe como anda o desenvolvimento da Lightning Network? Acho que muitos tem deixado de lado o quanto isso pode ser positivo para o Bitcoin, é algo que não depende de regulamentação e pode dar um salto grande para uma maior adoção da moeda, o que conseqüentemente vai aumentar seu valor.

Que vai subir vai, só não dá pra adivinhar quando. Um ponto que acho que vale a pena ressaltar é a saturação do mercado de altcoins, ultimamente o dinheiro tem migrado das alts para o BTC, acho que com o tempo isso vai aumentar. Se a facilidade de uso e aceitação forem crescentes a tendência é dominar cada vez mais o mercado, muitas moedas tendem a perder valor com isso, só vão prevalecer os tokens com algum uso real.

O Bitcoin ou alguma outra cripto prevalecer sobre o dinheiro estatal é algo bem difícil de acontecer, levaria vários anos. Existe uma frase, não sei o autor, que diz que as pessoas querem segurança, e não liberdade, e é exatamente isso que o Estado proporciona, uma falsa sensação de segurança. Apenas com essa mudança de mentalidade seria possível um arranjo diferente do atual, mas é um trabalho de décadas.

Se s criptos conseguirem fazer com que o dinheiro estatal volte a ter algum lastro já será um grande feito, e talvez o começo da mudança que a descentralização tem o poder de desencadear.

Se pro Bitcoin já é complicado se estabelecer com um propósito real, imagina a maioria dos tokens que são criados, eu acho que a tendência é mesmo de uma limpeza no mercado, muitas moedas vão valer muito pouco (quase nada), quando a onda de projetos que prometem e não entregam acabar.

Não consigo ver mais que uns 100 projetos (menos de 10% do que existe atualmente) sobrevivendo nos próximos anos.
