241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Shut Up Bitcoin Haters on: April 30, 2018, 02:26:08 PM
Well this about one of the finest and intellectual posts I have found here. For me, some of the arguments made by some people - for example that bitcoin and generally cryptocurrency is a scam, is borne out of ignorance, half truths, speculation or innuendoes. To understand the structure of a scam, there is usually no product with a promise of high yield which is actually the bait that lures the greedy and unwary to fall for it. This is not the case for those who have proper knowledge of bitcoin and have joined the market.
unfortunately, the other group of people who seem to see that they are late get it all wrong as they look more on where the bitcoin is coming from and not able to see where the currency is going to. It is a very rare thing to find an entirely newbie who didn't think like this without having had some form of teaching, seminar or presentation. I firmly believe that with the right kind of education and enlightenment, the people can get to see the beauty of bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: April 29, 2018, 09:53:35 PM
The name Nakamoto Satoshii has long been associated with the bitcoin evolution. However, what cannot be said for sure is the certainty of the person of the founder of the bitcoin, where lives or came from and more importantly how he may be identified. Nakomoto Satoshi is the name or Pseudonym associated with the crypto revolution. what may however be gleaned about him from the whitepaper - the presentation and introduction to his approach about the revolution he was introducing, showed that he had a clear understanding of what he was saying and the new ledger he was introducing. Nakomoto Satoshi certainly lives with us but his true identity will continue to be a mystery.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency kills people on: April 27, 2018, 05:55:40 PM
The truth about all this is that before the advent of cryptocurrency something was killing people. The misuse of anything can result in bodily harm and injury or even death. Controls,, regulation and checks should be put in place to ensure that people are protected from the unwholesome attitude of internet users with malicious or wicked intent
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any coin like bitcoin? on: April 27, 2018, 03:21:24 PM
In the mean time there is no coin that comes in the shadow of the bitcoin. The bitcoin leads the pack of cryptocurrencies and leads by a far or wide margin. it will take more than a sleight of hand to come close and overthrow the bitcoin.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When is a good time to buy? on: April 26, 2018, 10:27:01 PM
Newbies and first timers have to do a lot of reading and come under proper mentoring to know when to buy and when to sell. That way they don't throw away their hard earned money. Technically when you receive market signals that's what points to when you can buy or sell. Good luck.`
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin too complicated for ordinary folks? on: April 25, 2018, 09:11:06 PM
education and exposure are two instruments that will help any one to successfully navigate the crypto world. If ordinary folks are educated and can understand basic instructions and how to surf the internet then it should not be complicated. However, if the folks don't understand these basic things then they have to be enlightened and this can be quite a challenge.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymity of cryptocurrencies owners on: April 25, 2018, 09:07:06 PM
This is a very sensitive issue and requires some level of deep thinking and resolution t handle. It will  take some strong policies that regulate the entrance of the bitcoin world by making sure that people who join have their KYCs to avoid such unfortunate and wicked activities of hackers.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you going to spend your bitcoin on? on: April 25, 2018, 09:02:25 PM
The bitcoin emergence is a huge relief to those who never thought cool money could be made on the internet. However, the bitcoin is bringing hope to many and changing lives radically. If I ever were to make cool cash, much of it will go into setting up corporations that are diversified from crypto , to create job opportunities for those looking for a job and to equally use same to assist the poor and less privileged amongst us.
Very important.
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Really End World Poverty? on: April 25, 2018, 08:51:47 PM
Theoretically, the bitcoin can end poverty, but in practical terms this may not quite be the case as other factors not presently accounted for may be the reasons why the reality may take a while or may not materialise. The bitcoin potential to tilt the financial lever in the direction of the poor is huge but this will require more than just making policies and paper work. It will require making certain compromises and foregoing or removing financial obligations from the poor. We may also need to educate and enlighten the poor and the financially illiterate. This way we may see the reality of the goodness of bitcoin.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can Bitcoin help the developing world? on: April 23, 2018, 04:19:14 PM
The developing world is fraught with a lot of challenges ranging from lack of good health care system, to lack of infrastructure and even a challenge to eating decent meals. the bitcoin can bring a lot of opportunities to transform the sick,  the not catered for and other group of people associated with the low rung position in the developing countries by making jobs and amenities available. the impact could be huge and exponential.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin: is it the coin of the future ? on: April 23, 2018, 04:06:07 PM
The bitcoin revolution is fully here and no one may be able to correctly predict what lies ahead; However, it becomes our duty to seek to understand how much influence the bitcoin is bringing and where it is going from here. That way we can safely understand how much 'weight' the bitcoin has and how long it could stay before another 'disrupter' emerges.
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the history repeat again? on: April 23, 2018, 02:36:46 PM
History certainly could repeat itself, but not in the way, manner and timing expected. Frankly, I think that once the price begins to rally and the market stabilises, anything is possible in the bullish run of the bitcoin price. however we must be careful as this may be a deliberate ploy to also destroy the market.
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian Central Bank In Court Over Crypto Ban, Court Issues Notice on: April 23, 2018, 02:01:09 PM
I hope the Indian government and the entire populace are aware of the revolution the Crypto world has brought and the lives it has changed. The Court must be fair and unbiased in its ruling, ensuring that the interest and welfare of its people are centrally considered....

255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: April 21, 2018, 08:47:55 PM
I think that quite a number of folks have fallen into the mistake of mining bitcoins and throwing away the hardware or using a substantial amount of the bitcoins in the early years to pay for a paltry thing like a drink or something that was not quite commensurate to what the value of the bitcoins is.  I am not aware that there may be a way to crack a wallet whose keys have been lost or misplaced. Best of luck for you in the future.
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a currency? on: April 21, 2018, 08:40:46 PM
The Oracle of Omaha (Warren Buffet) May have his reasons, but whatever his reasons may be, he really needs to consider the position of the cryptocurrency revolution and the inroad and wide acceptance the bitcoin is bringing. He should be shown the revolution the acceptance is bringing to countries like Japan, Malaysia, South Korea etc

258  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam-Warning: Värdex-ATM on: April 20, 2018, 01:09:03 PM
Scams everywhere....... I didn't buy into this, but imagine if people have invested into so much of his but don't ever do a check up in order to be sure before they invest? I think there has to be some regulations or policies of some sort before they can be accepted here. It could give the bitcointalk site some negative trust unnecessarily.
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rothschild Family and Bitcoin on: April 20, 2018, 07:48:13 AM
If the source of this information is correct, then I think They are already in a long time ago, before this got out. And this may portend a short time of good and then a long time seeing evil. The name Rothschild is synonymous for Monopoly
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most attractive concept about Bitcoin? on: April 19, 2018, 08:17:16 PM
The most attractive thing about the bitcoin currency, is its ability to be an asset in the decentralised ecosystem. Its use for payment and its success is largely seen in its large adoption
