And the pump on Huobi continues.. Huh

Edit:
Anyone thinks that Huobi and the other Chinese exchanges are going to be the new mt gox (an exchange with no possibility of getting fiat out)?

Yes , indeed we are some idiots here who loose money , and others , maybe connected with the exchanges , are laughing at us ! Very impressive business ....for them !

Want to bet 1 btc that price will not visit above 5000? You have a 5% edge according to your estimations.

Nah, there's a 45% chance it doesn't happen until Jan 1st, 2015. Not worth the risk  Tongue

Either you stand by your estimations or you admit they are complete BS.

What was the reason for this massive buy? The OKcoinATMs ?

Shorts covering. Longs expecting market to rise when all Chinese operations don't cease to exist on the 15th. Longs chasing the 1 day MACD.

This is Custards last stand before we see $270.

A day or so ago, we broke through months long resistance to $340. And we have rallied on no volume.

This is all smoke and mirrors right now.

The only people screaming "bear market over" are those that totally ignore that the technicals are nothing like they were in July 2013.

I'm not saying this is 2011 all over again. But its certainly not 2013 either.

We just have to wait for the bulls, who so dearly are wishing the downtrend does not continue, to give up already.

To all shortists:

It is creeping up now. Please heed my advice and buy in. It makes me sad to know that you are losing money when you can do something about it.

To all who bought in at 360$, just sell your BTC and lock in your profits.  Cool
252  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 14, 2014, 07:02:01 AM
Bitcoin rises  to fall again very soon. Maybe it is just an epic dump strategy before the chine exit?Wink

Where are you? Noob.

Fonzie, where are you? Short much, I suspose.

Just shorted at 445$, we shall see where this ends up.
253  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Cosmopolis] Prepare for Bitcoin $266 Retest on: April 13, 2014, 04:02:09 PM
Nice work. Will buy if it goes down btw 14th -20th i also think a lot of buys orders wont let price drop that much.

Slow exit by the Chinese possible, traps to sell at highest possible price before final sell off?

Coindesk says huobi, okcoin and btcchina is planning to move overseas, that's not a good sign. I think Chinese money is exiting the market for the short term atleast

If the capital flight theories have any merit the Chinese should be buying the fuck out of Bitcoin right now.

For all you know they are, and it's the Western "day traders" (Read: noob idiots) that are causing all this BS.

In a way that's true it would make sense for them to buy it. I think what's important right now is reassurance from Chinese exchanges that everything will be OK etc etc in an official annoucment on their website not an interview. From my observation that seems to calm Chinese investors

I read something the other day where Chinese investors are mad as hell because the Westerners keep spreading rumours, getting freaked out and dumping all over the place.

They are just mad because they are losing money. Guess what would have happened if the Chinese would have been the first to buy into bitcoin, they would have done exactly that what they are accusing the Westerners of.

You gonna catch bears or bulls with that?

We are entering the despair phase, I seriously doubt we'll see the 200s, I hope I'm right. That would hurt.

I personally think we're exiting despair. However that is because I've always been unafraid of China, nor do I day trade so I don't have to debate weather they tell the truth or string people along lol

Well it is obvious that they are stringing people along, because we went from "everything is fine" to "3rd party processors have been banned" to "Some bank accounts have been frozen, but we will stay in business", the next stop will be "We are very sorry but we cant keep operating with the restrictions in place".

Nope your string of events differ from mine,

Dec 5th PBoC decided placing restrictions that hoped it would stop capital flight among other things, which included the 3rd party payment bans.
That has yet to change, and people have purely spread FUD about that one thing for 3 months now.

Tbh I think the Chinese know better than any of the westerners about what is going on and how these things normally come to place in China and if they are not buying then that says enough imo.

I am also wondering if this time there will be the same buy support or that people will be more reluctant to buy in again, I think the latter will be true.
258  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 13, 2014, 02:57:52 PM
I want to see bitcoin under 400 mark  till the end of this day.!

So sorry if you want cheap coin your time is over a few days ago.  :-) I predict price will stay above 400 till tomorrow and then we will remind October :-)

Lets just forget abou the 2h MACD predicting a massive dump multiple times in a row, what makes you think we will go up?

Just a feeling. we have a weekend before 15th ... people made already some panic during a week when China was dumping.

Now everything seems to be going back to normal tracks, as I see a ++ for a hashrate and I just feel that next week we will get easly +100$.

First we will have a big dump before 12pm Chinese time.

I don't really think so but time will show Smiley

All I can say that it is not looking good atm. Just wait for some buy walls to be pulled and down we go again.
259  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 13, 2014, 02:54:47 PM
The big question now is "Will we see below 340$ on the incoming dump?"
260  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another y3804 bearish thread on: April 13, 2014, 02:51:04 PM
There's no new capital entering the market. Without China, who will sustain the healthy $400+ prices? Onshore deposits will be frozen after April 14, and most exchanges will have significant problems in the future to deal with oversea deposits. The solution of OKCoin with recharge coupons won't work in the long-term, and I expect PBOC to ban China exchanges one day. Also, I definitely think most traders are going to withdraw their RMB before the deadline, just to see how the market reacts. As Bobby Lee said, "After the April 15 deadline, most investors will re-evaluate Bitcoin".

That being said, we've reached a $350 low, we've all scooped the cheap coins. Who's going to invest at $400+?

Also, you have to consider the amount of BTC being dumped by miners everyday.

E.g. Overstock is dumping $1M USD worth of BTC/day. KNC miners are dumping $500K USD worth of BTC/day.

There's only one direction in this market. We're going south.

BTW, only 12 waking hours left in China. It's nearly monday up there

Sounds like you have already sold your 'scooped coins'. Am I right?

That would have been the smartest thing to do.
