Hey octaft, so you do implicate that all people are "mentally" equal? Nope. As I said previously, some individuals are smart, some are dumb, some are in-between. My outright statement (not implication) is that it is not at all determined by what the color of their skin is or what country/continent/whatever they come from.

AFAICTFGTO(*), OKCoin's "recharge codes" allow users to buy CNY from other users.
UserA has CNY in his OKCoin account. UserB ran out of CNY in his OKCoin account, has CNY in hand but cannot deposit it because the bank routes are blocked (assuming that they will be at some point). So userB gives CNY to userA in some way (without involving OKCoin and their bank accounts), and userA transfers the same amount minus fees+profit from his OKCoin account to userB's OKCoin account.
If that is correct, this system may convince clients to keep their money in their OKCoin account even after withdrawals are blocked. Clients like userA could make lots of money from those external "fees". Presumably they will find ways to get CNY in or out of OKCoin without going through the bank accounts.
Perhaps UserA can be OKCoin's CEO, or his cat...
(*) As Far As I Can Tell From Google Translate's Output.
Is it something like P2P? Any way pboc can stop such P2P? Or they have to close the exchange? BTW, OKcoin announces today, clients can still input money through banks , but thru Construction Bank instead of Merchant Bank. This is also wired. Why some banks does not follow PBOC? Another question, why PBOC only instructs banks by oral, no written Notice? Clearly pboc DO have such instruction, but Why they do this so grey?

This breakout is weaksauce.
Everything is happening in proportion to the last breakout in March relative to volume. It should be over when Stamp hits 30,000 volume.

Agreed. I just wish I had more coins to short it.

I'm not shorting right now (I actually took long on the 425 retracement); I'm just not expecting much. I'd caution against shorting until some TA indicators actually go back down, just in case.

Good thought. I'm not margin short. I'm using my trading account as a hedge on my cold storage stash, so I'm actually long. I just sold some to lock in profits.

To all shortists:
While the market is consolidating, buy back all your shorts now. Better to suffer a little loss than to lose everything.

I do recall that one of the posts you put in some words of attribution for someone... and probably in that case, it would have been good to note it (or maybe say it in small type ... ).. whatever, it was kind of a joke or a way to dig in at someone in a strategic way... ..
oh yeah, that one... was more of a joke but turns out she was very annoyed at having her character defiled on a public site.... funny that. Yeah.. pretty funny if you are quoting some bear with bullish comments or even quoting a bull with bearish comments... or to say that such and such bear says that such and such bull is wonderful or the opposite.... and NOT really that big of a deal... whether you fixed it or NOT.. Probably, i would have fixed it... but then if someone is ordering me to fix something, then probably, i will be less inclined to fix it... good...good, come to the dark side! Wait...the empire is the dark side. Come to the light side then. Our cookies are superior, if you know what I mean Howz the Real doing, Prof? Ya got great confidence in your national currency? I read the story about how it was created. I couldn't believe Brazilians were that stupid. Then I started reading your posts. You rail against private sector scammers and ignore the greatest scammers of all: The governments of the world. Then you say "Yes, the government has problems, but it would be so much better if only people like me were in charge." That would be a disaster. I'm comforted by the fact that the sociopaths who run the governments would never let that happen.
Ah yes, ye olde "the system is fine, we need to vote in the right people" utopia. If that's not an utopian idea, I don't know what is. We have tried this literally thousands of times. So how is that working out for us? Famous Einstein quote about insanity comes to mind. BTW I would like to apologize to JayJuanGee for placing him way lower than octaft on my "likeable statists" list back when this thread was full of anarchist/statist rants. My argument was that octaft doesn't do ad hominem. Oh well... And lest I forget: CCMF!
