241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice to invest about crypto currency on: June 21, 2019, 06:13:43 AM
If you wanted to ask me what is the surest bet possible, buying BTC, LTC and ETH and blindly holding for 2 years would be way up there, but it didn't require any kind of real understanding of crypto markets to make it.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Libra - Facebook Cryptocurrency on: June 20, 2019, 05:57:57 AM
For people aiming Libra is not crypto, it's still a crypto currency. They mix currency with crypto currency to make this coin.

You can see when/where/how your payment goes with blockchain, no one can change the data. But there will be no anonymous thing.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your thoughts on Facebook's GlobalCoin on: June 20, 2019, 05:55:53 AM
As I understand they will NOT have full control over libra. All of the investors will have minimal power. However, Facebook can choose all investors, this might subvert the system in the process. Must be very careful with libra tho.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook coin Libra already targeted by US government on: June 20, 2019, 05:54:11 AM
It's not crypto currency in the common sense, more like a hybrid of crypto/online wallet/credit card - unified irreversible online payment solution; no mining, no appreciation/volatility, probably pegged to USD with fixed reserves for stability, public transaction ledger & KYC banking regs. Not good for privacy.

Integrating with FB, Messenger, IG, WhatsApp and maybe some others will join so 2B+ potential user pool, could really get some traction like nothing we've seen before. I'm not quite sure exactly why Visa, Mastercard & PayPal are on board with this since it's kind of a competitor to all of them unless they're all going to be partial owners.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra the new crypto king on: June 20, 2019, 05:52:27 AM
Libra is stablecoin. The price is not gonna up.

It just opened the door, for billion of un-bank or un-creditcard people to spend their money online or transfer fund globally.

Those libra company's gonna get billion/trillion of profit through fees?
If entire .net world use their service/coin instead of bank / western union?

I think this is a good news for crypto space.
But very bad news for banking and other 3'rd party such as Western Union etc
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Cryptocurrency on: June 19, 2019, 04:03:55 AM
Like others have said here this is going to be a good thing for crypto. This will boost crypto and blockchain awareness. Eventually volume in crypto as a whole should be increased with a lot of new money put into the space.

Crypto is here to stay and although I wish it wasn’t Facebook to do this push, it is needed. This is the next step to boost crypto back to the forefront of media and get it back on track to going higher in price.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Libra the Ethereum + Ripple + EOS + TRON + .... killer? on: June 19, 2019, 03:59:19 AM
If Libra is going to be a stable coin, then there is no point in buying it at the start. If it gets popular after the launch, then we can use it as our stable currency; if it doesn't, we can go back to the old ones like trueUSD or Tether.

Personally, with the big names behind this coin, I think this coin will dominate the stable coin market and become the most popular stable coin. Nonetheless, I shall keep looking at non-stable coins for investment purposes.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra the new crypto king on: June 19, 2019, 03:57:00 AM
The organization name is called Libra. And the coin is called Stable coin.

Inside this organization, we got facebook, paypal, visa, and many other multi-billion company, that can't wait to eat our fees, more globally, if all internet users use their coin.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still investing in ICOs? Let me know! on: June 18, 2019, 05:38:39 AM
ICO is dead, if you want to invest into a new project,  try at least an IEO, not an ICO.

A lot of crypto investors are naive and never traded before. They "FOMO" and buy at the high. I'm sure a lot of people are buying this crypto waiting for another 50% but they'll end up 50% down.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook is raising money for Facebook Coin on: June 18, 2019, 05:35:17 AM
Everyone was dogging crypto 2 years ago now everyone sees how companies are threatned by it. Facebook also cancelled crypto ads after 2017 and now they have their own currency. Makes me sick
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops still favors on: June 18, 2019, 05:32:43 AM
Airdrops are nice but normally, they are very popular and you don't get that much from it. I have never tried mining and I'm not a hardware geek. 😊 Bitcoin/altcoin forks seems like a good idea but I am always scared to buy the coin because normally the price will go up a lot once the fork news is out and I am worried that I may make a loss once it drops.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Vs Trading on: June 18, 2019, 05:31:03 AM
Personally, my main method is HODLing everything I get from Bounties, even though I prefer to call it investing because its sounds more professional. :p I tried Arbitrage and I didn't have much success.

The two issues with arbitrage is that, there are professional traders and bots that would trade it much quicker than we can and Cryptocurrency transfer times are too long so by the time you send the coin from one exchange to another, the opportunity would probably be gone.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Reign is nowhere near its end! on: June 17, 2019, 05:10:52 AM
Remember that binance hold 50% of total bnb.
Could be a great coin to invest or could be risky.

Bnb is not really decentralized when the owner hold more than 50% of bnb ... Same with ripple and other “cryptocurrency” that was pre mined before launch.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you have to take risks. on: June 17, 2019, 05:04:10 AM
As it stands, I am holding BTC, LTC and ETH, so nothing too risky.

Also, I will not be buying into any other (unproven) asset that is operated by unproven individuals who haven't shown that they have deep enough pockets to support their asset as it attracts genuine buyers.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beating down the U.S. Dollar on: June 17, 2019, 05:00:48 AM
BTC/USD does more than $20Million worth of volume on a daily basis - so this is something that is amazing to watch.

But - my confidence in bitcoin comes from the fact that. These large holders cannot cash out 300K worth of BTC at these levels... it will damage the market in an irrepairable way, they must first boost the price (severely) to attract an even larger pool of new buyers into the market...

This is what they're in the process of doing as we speak... they will be doing this over the next one year and a half.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB first and only coin to hit all time high! on: June 14, 2019, 04:07:33 AM
As some people has mentioned here, its impossible to predict the future price of anything, especially cryptocurrencies due to it volatile aspect. However, when you are investing you should look at the fundamentals of the investment. Here is some information on BNB:

The only usage of the BNB token before was trading fees but now there are many more use cases. In order to participate in Binance's initial exchange offering (IEO), you need to hold BNB for a certain period of time on the exchange. Also, since the recent release of the Binance Chain (their own blockchain), BNB is now to utility token of the network. In terms of use cases, it seems like there are more ways to utilize BNB. BNB is the token of Binance exchange which is now one of the biggest exchanges in the world and also there is Binance Chain which seems to want to compete with Ethereum. They also have Binance DEX (decentralised exchanges) but it will be interesting to see if Binance DEX can succeed or not. Also, some of the profits from the exchange is used to buy back bnb and removed from the supply.

This is not financial advice btw, just a few things about BNB. Do I think it will rise in the next 5 years? Well, I'll don't give advice on that
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is blockchain a perfect solution? on: June 14, 2019, 04:03:42 AM
It's hard to find a perfect solution, as things change very often, blockchain is improving every day, it becomes stronger and much more mature, but I don't think it's perfect.

The more it will be adopted,  the more it will close to perfection, as most of weakness (high fees, scalability) will be fixed over time.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My eth is hacked ........ on: June 14, 2019, 04:00:48 AM
This virtual currency is such that once its gone there is no way of a reverse or refund like any other platforms like paypal. I myself have suffered a blow when the Mt Gox fraud happened way back in feb 2014 and i lost almost 8 BTC which i had purchased at a market rate of 350$ per BTC. I still feel the pinch today pal as it would have been so much more worth today. So learn to live with it and from next time be alert and careful when you deal in BTC my friend.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Binance Is Becoming Too Powerful (and really scary). on: June 13, 2019, 06:14:10 AM
I do consider BNB is better than most coins.
At least Binance is showing a profit every quarter and to my knowledge, it's the only company which actually shows us some result.

The constant growth is the healthiest thing a company can have. Binance has all chances to be a titan many years from now.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet hacking is it possible? on: June 13, 2019, 06:09:37 AM
Wallet hacking  is always possible if you are not careful with your private keys specially. Not everyone is lucky to be born with the same ability to learn. Not everyone is raised with the knowledge or given the opportunity to learn to avoid scams.

The scammers are the bad guys, not the people getting scammed. Shame on the scammers 100% of the time. Hate the scammers, not the victims.
