Hi, Highest bid on G3N is 564 sat atm, we use highest bids as base for convertion. A staking contract would use the last weeks average trading price as cost, and is calculated each week. We can do up to 5000 G3N atm. IW |

Thanks for the feedback. I'm sure that you made your math and you could maintain the nodes online with 10%, or 20%. If not, take a look here.  It's not much at 10% on the hardware requirements, to be run smoothly ... Iknow, this was not ment to take your buisiniss. Its not about profit, i already own the hardware and have no cost to operate further due some clever agreements. Maybe we could cooperate on this service instead of fighting on price? We only want to provide the service to help, and add an extra incentive to use our coin as base payment for services. What happens in a typical proof of stake system if a vast majority of the coins are burned?
POS difficulty goes down, nothing more. Same as if vast majority was not staking. IW |

While I can see the appeal of piggy backing on BCR, i don't think users will get involved in your coins just to pay something they can already do in BCR. Its not about piggy backing, but about unexperienced and newcomers to crypto who dont know how to setup and maintain nodes/wallets or simply dont have time for it. We already provide this service in small scale for clients, and do know the need is there and will be bigger. No need to get involved with any coin, this service will actually help every newcomer or unskilled users learn your systems and how to use them in real life. Win-win for all. 1. BaseNode cold hosting.
2. BaseNode cold hosting + mining.
1. I will provide the following to you:
a) basenodeprivkey <BASENODEPRIVKEY>
b) ip of the cold BaseNode <BASENODEIP>
c) port of the cold BaseNode <BASENODEPORT>
You will have a wallet with one transaction of 50000 BCR inside.
Modify the bitcredit.conf with:
basenode=1
basenodeprivkey=<BASENODEPRIVKEY>
basenodeaddr=<BASENODEIP>:<BASENODEPORT>
Restart the wallet.
Issue on console "basenode start".
If the message is "basenode started remotely", from this moment you can stop the wallet.
Privide the BCR address that is behind.
My job is:
To maintain synced the cold wallet.
To maintain updated the daemon to the last version.
To report to you by email if the wallet was restarted for some reasons (bootstraping/binary update/machine restart) to reissue the "basenode start" on your end.
To maintain an uptime that will bring mutual satisfaction for both parties.
The price for this service is 50% from all earnings on that BN.
2. In plus to the above service, I will mine to the provided address on 40 block based rotation script. For this, the wallet must contain the above 50000 BCR transaction + 1 BCR, so I can mine on that address.
The price for this service is 65% from all earnings on that BN.
Payments:
The payments will be done on daily basis, preferably from other sources.
In case that funds will be retrieved from the BN wallet, I must be announced by email with the transaction ID.
Termination of the service:
Missing two payments without any message from you, will cancel the service.
In case that BN is offline for more than 2 days, the service is canceled.

This is probably the optimal setup for longterm staking.
BUT, you risk getting your wallet.dat corrupted if you run to many inputs/blocks.
No you don't. Your client will start lagging and freezing long before that happens. You just need to move your coins to a new wallet.dat every year when lag starts to get excessive. Trust me, I've been there. Blocks under 50 would go below max cap atm.
Sometimes, but not always. Anyway, not maxing out the reward cap is not a bad thing. Also, if splitting in very small blocks the wallet should be considered for staking only, since you will need to combine alot of inputs when you would want to send coins.
Yeah, you are limited to sending 10000-20000 XQN at a time in my experience. Not that big of a deal really. Thnx for adding this info. IW |

No need for conf file unless you need to use other ports or such. If you do not get connections, use the peers.dat file linked in OP. The avg stake will depend on how you choose your strategy. A longterm staker would split them up all the way down to 50-100 or less, but will take longer to stake. IW |
