241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will blockchain kill traditional banking? on: March 01, 2018, 05:30:55 PM
A bunch of blockchain tech founders debate the question here: https://bitnewstoday.com/opinion/will-blockchain-kill-banks-or-financial-sector-can-use-this-technology-to-improve-its-efficiency/

James Song, founder of exsulcoin , is featured too. He's showing up everywhere these days.

I think that blockchain will kill traditional banking eventually.
BUT will NOT kill the banks. Banks will adapt and adopt the technology and will make even higher profits from that.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eBitcoin [eBTC] Price speculation on: March 01, 2018, 04:08:41 PM
They still alive? This is a Surprise for me.
Better avoid such coins, nothing good is expected of them.

I was surprised too, but at least eBTC is the first from this exx wave and they are trying to make something. Unlike the 10000 copiers.
I may buy some just for fun Smiley
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: UTRUST (UTK) -- Hidden Gem? on: March 01, 2018, 02:53:09 PM
Hey guys can’t remember when we are listing on other exchange is it the 12th Jan Huh
It was a planning to listed on hitbtc, but the fact they listed on hibtc 1 week after planning date (Jan 19th)

What advantage does have UTrust over other similar coins? Any special feature that differentiate it in the market?
They claimed to be better than paypal?

They claim that they can rival paypal and be better in the future in terms of dispute resolution for one. The fees involved will also be much lower which is a big lure.

In terms of crypto competitors I don't know of too many, there's Verify, they are much less established and have a much smaller team and seem farther away in terms of a working product.

Monetha is their main competitor on the field, but I find uTrust a much better, at least by whitepaper specs and plans. They can really disrupt Paypal business.
244  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DO YOU BUY WHEN THE PRICE DROPS SHARPLY ? on: February 28, 2018, 11:09:54 AM
I'm first checking for the reason of the drop. If I don't find any big negative news, I'm buying.

On small market cap coins it's not so rare somebody to drop a huge /to the coin/ amount and ruin the price for few minutes, then it's auto-recovering in few hours.
245  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to get fiat from crypto? on: February 25, 2018, 02:29:53 PM
Hi guys, I did some investment in crypto from long time but, never sell it for fiat or don't have any master or Visa card to spent my crypto. So any suggestions what is the best method to get some fiat currency for crypto and any recommend card to spend and how can I get it. I live in UK. Thanks.

If you are OK to pay taxes and don't want to pass KYC on major exchanges, then look for your country-local company who buy/sell BTC. There are few in every EU countries, taking 2%-4% as commission.

If you are OK to pay taxes AND pass KYC on major exchanges, go to Kraken or similar and sell your coins and withdraw with SEPA/SWIFT.

If you don't want to pay taxes, check https://localbitcoins.com and sell it to a local man in person.
246  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin recovery on: February 25, 2018, 02:12:34 PM
I voted for 7000-10000, because I don't think Bitcoin will show anything better than that.

Unfortunately we are in some magic cycle now and I don't expect to see new ATH at least for 6 more months. The only chance to make good money in this period are the good ICO's.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell or hold bitcoin cash ? on: February 24, 2018, 09:47:53 AM
I don't like BCH by default, like I don't like Ripple and the idea behind those two coins.

But seems it's interesting to hold both for pure speculations and trades. So I bought BCH and Ripple in past 2 months to play with.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Bounty] - Eristica Report ✔ on: February 24, 2018, 09:32:42 AM

249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO][ERISTICA] - P2P Challenge Platform | First ICO in FunTech ✔ on: February 24, 2018, 09:31:50 AM
I am officially a Eristica Holder  Grin
Something tells me this one is going to Moon Quick !

Do you know any other market but this:

ForkDelta - Eristica TOK

https://forkdelta.github.io/#!/trade/0x92a5b04d0ed5d94d7a193d1d334d3d16996f4e13-ETH

I want to become a holder too, but missed the ICO.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHOULD BUY BITCOIN NOW? THE PRICE IS HIGH? on: February 24, 2018, 09:04:29 AM
Please tell me your opinion?

Nobody can tell you what is the right time for you to buy. It must be your decision.

If you have spare money to invest, go ahead. It's always a good time.

If you are planning to use bank credit or similar, don't. Not only now but ever.
251  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have the fees gone down? on: February 24, 2018, 08:25:09 AM
I just transferred about 1 BTC to a wallet and the fee was something like 20 cents. Is that right? I recall having fees of $25 back in December for the same amount. I'm using Segwit by the way.

There were spam attacks on Bitcoin and increased number of transactions during Nov-Jan ATH spikes. Combining both events fees went crazy. Right now are back to normal. We will see what will neer future bring. if it will stay like this that is perfect.

Any legitimate sources for this? AFAIK those massive spikes in fees are caused by numerous people wanting to get their coins sent from A to B and some traders trying to arbitrage because of the large spreads in between exchanges. Though that doesn't seem to account for all of the transaction, still I cannot remember any talks about spam attacks during the ATH run since everybody is eyeing on gains and not the problems bitcoin is facing (and partly, if the spam attacks were real, the party/ies who did it somehow lost in their agenda.)

It was full of dust/unspendable transactions, moving few K satoshi with 200-300K fees. I think that was around the alleged Ver's attempt to made people switch from BTC to BCC. Somebody calculated that those transactions cost the attacker nearly $5M/day. But those $5M/day are nothing, compared to the money somebody made from BCH pump and dump. If I find some free time to dig around, I will look for few TX examples from this period.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what you think about utrust? on: February 23, 2018, 05:02:42 PM
Make your opinion on utrust .

my prediction is 5$ by this year.

utrust touch 1.00$ .

what you think?

I think this is one of the best projects in it's niche and the only one who can disrupt paypal dominance in the sector of micro payments.

The future of finance services belongs to projects like uTrust, Datarius and Credits.com. Token prices will be huge in future for sure.
253  Economy / Economics / Re: How Much Of Your Total Liquidity Did You Invest In Crypto? on: February 23, 2018, 04:30:54 PM
I'm with a lot higher %, like 80ish+ range, but only with my own resources, without bank credits and so on.

In fact,  due to crypto money I made in last 18-24 months, I cleared all my debts for institutions.
254  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have the fees gone down? on: February 23, 2018, 03:52:04 PM
I just transferred about 1 BTC to a wallet and the fee was something like 20 cents. Is that right? I recall having fees of $25 back in December for the same amount. I'm using Segwit by the way.

The $25 December fees was due attack over Bitcoin Network. The mempool was filled with useless/dust (unspendable) transactions.

Those low fees are the normal state of the Network. If Bitcoin goes mainstream, fees will mooning again without LN adoption.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell All Altcoins and Just HODL ETH or BTC! Which is better? on: February 22, 2018, 09:10:22 AM
If you are going after higher ROI and higher risk, you need to try with altcoins.

If you are going after lower ROI and lower risk, then just hold BTC, ETC and NEO.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO is performing better than average on: February 22, 2018, 08:43:03 AM
It would seem that NEO is performing better than average, given that most of the coins are diving into the Marianas Abyss, so this is a change to elaborate some theories on why. Go!

NEO have huge support this year. In the last month alone I read about few ICO's based on NEO instead of ETH.

My speculations are that NEO could be pumped up to $500 to the end of 2018.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEED HELP URGENTLY: Pls suggest me list of 30 good coins that is safe for 30days on: February 22, 2018, 08:38:52 AM
There is no 'safe' coins for 30 days.

Instead of whining for 'urgent help', make some own researched.
Like that there is upcoming ETC fork and prices are going up. Or PRL will run their testnet B in a week or two. Or uTrust will make a big presentation in April. You could expect a short price jump of these coins.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How difficult is to learn Solidity? on: February 19, 2018, 01:43:00 PM
Provided that I know a bit about programming, have done some Java or C++ or C#, not really pro but good and all that…  What would be the learning curve for the Ethereum language Solidity? How long until I can program a not too complex Smart Contract?

Nobody can answer you how long will take it to you. As you claim Java or C++ or C# experience, it would be that hard.

Solidity is not so complex at all, plus it's full with successful ICO's with open sources smart contracts. You could learn from them and start easily.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto day trading is more stressful than I thought! on: February 19, 2018, 12:57:40 PM
Any profitable day trader have any tips?. It seems like I never get the right time to sell. Thanks

Follow strict trading roll management. And NEVER re-double-open your losing positions. Just accept it and learn from your errors.

Don't look 30 times per minute at the price, especially on losing trades.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STK Token (Stack) Great Opportunity? on: February 19, 2018, 12:51:28 PM
"1/ Partnership, with a 5 year deal with Mastercard"

Partnership or potential partnership? The difference is huge, because MC/VISA are refusing to work with crypto projects.

If they sign a real partnership, the this will be huge. But until it's just potential... nah, I will skip.
