i forgot where it was posted, but some site said bitcoin was a corporation and that each btc was like a common stock (or something like that) that is issued by the corporation. that was pretty hilarious.
That was pretty recent, I remember it from r/bitcoin the reddit thing

A big company which is close to adopt bitcoins is Ebay, when they will announce the implementation of btc there will be a great jump in value.
I hope so but with Dell the price didn't move much.

Well I certainly wouldn't mind selling my coins at that price right now. This shouldn't surprise you, they write nonsense and they write it often, specially related to Bitcoin. Anyone can become a journalist these days I guess. As everyone knows hindsight is 20 20

Check out the mining sub forum and post this there. You can move the topic to the mining section by clicking the button in the lower left hand corner
Instead of moving the thread to mining section, it should be moved to altcoin mining section ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=160.0) instead as OP is obviously not mining bitcoin. That is correct! My mistake

Maybe ebay or paypal? Any company that would accept bitcoin would be good for us actually.
The problem with PayPal accepting bitcoin is that they are opposing things. PayPal prides itself in using centralisation and will have no control over users if they put in bitcoin.. Paypal wont put a knife in its back by accepting bitcoin. I can see noone else but online stores accepting bitcoin payments. It would be interesting to see Dell sales report about purchases of their products made with bitcoin, i have a strange feeling its not that good as people like to think. The reason for low sales is usually region restrictions, Dell only accepts btc from The US

What service/company should accept bitcoin next? I don't like the word "should" in this context.. it implies some sort of obligation. What company should accept bitcoin next? Whichever one wants to of course! By should I mean (bitcoiners think they should) Which company would be it be cool for everyone if they took btc

Hello,
5 weeks ago I ordered 2 packs of cigarettes on cigs.eu and I didn't got anything, and they don't reply to my emails ! So this website became a scam... I lost 60 euro...
So I ask you, do you know legits websites to buy tobacco online?
Thanks for your precious help,
Rafael1000
Hi, Theres a site called www.blackmarketgoods.org They do genuine UK cigarettes and tobacco on their site. I use them all the time, no problems with them. Really Cheap too!. Cheers, Mike The name turns me off of them straight away. Also you can buy electronic cigarettes often online.

What service/company should accept bitcoin next? My answer is Apple or Google. Google would be great as you could tip users on YouTube and buy adspace with BTC and Apple because of their huge share on the market. Share your opinions!

November 2014 should be when Bitcoin will get a lot of attention.
That's only because your brain is searching for potential patterns. That may or may not be the important month..

jambola, you really need to work out the math. there are brain wallet hackers trying billions of combinations. terahash rigs only cost thousands of dollars. if you choose an obscure song title that is say one in a million, then two of them would be one in a trillion. that's only 10^12.
you should have 128 bits of entropy or more which is equal to 3.4 x 10^38, which is a much bigger number.
256 would be ideal however and as for hacking attempts on the device you must BIP 38 encrypt it!

IMO less than 1% We are the choosen one LOL A lot less than 1%, which means less than 80 million. I'd say around 3 million people globally

If its only a relatively small area bitcoin won't be impacted too much, but if everything goes offline bitcoin is screwed.
