maybe an option, within options> coins, to delete it and in the next reading of the apis, the return to add clean, as given by the API, could be a quick and easy solution.

PAtrike I have a problem that I have already told you about other times, and it keeps happening to me, right now it just happened to me.

I'll explain it in detail and capture, to see if you can reproduce and fix it.

ES when I change the value of the currency, double-clicking on the currency. Sometimes it has happened to me with the exponential value and today it has been when changing the reward of DLP

DLP is wrong, I have already communicated it to Karl de CTM. I have changed the reward like that, but I see that I made a mistake, I did not uncheck the price and I left it at zero (this capture is from another currency), so I put 1 reward, but the price stayed at 0, my fault

and the problem is immediate, it disappears completely from the list of the COINS tab, it is easy, it is going to give the "D" to see all the coins that start with D, and it does not appear with value or without value. I already tell you that it has happened to me other times, it simply is NOT, it left, it disappears. The logical thing is that it was with profit 0.

But if I go to Options> Coins, there if it appears, but from there I can only hide it or show it, I can not change its properties

before you ask, I have no filter applied. Neither the currency appears below in coins when it has no data or there is a fault, it simply disappears.

This is a bit crazy. Excodex exchange does not work with this currency. What's the problem? And if they do not list it again? we can eat the coins ...
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: February 13, 2019, 06:11:23 PM
Unrelated issue.  I've got 3 rigs with 1060 3GB cards mining BEAM using GMiner.  Since the Equihash 150.5 algo requires just shy of 3GB of VRAM, I'm running those rigs on HIVEOS for now.

I'm monitoring then from AM as External miners by looking at port 42010.  This works fine except the earnings are not showing up.  When I right click and "Define coin for pool",  I select BEAM.  However, nothing is showing and if I go back to "Define coin for poo"l again, it has reverted back to BTC.

Also, on these External miners, when I click on the Pools tab, it shows the Grin29 pool my managed miners are connected to, not the BEAM pool these miners are actually mining on.  On my Managed miners, I can of course select the pool each rig is mining on, but for External rigs, this is not possible.  I do see the GPUs and hash rates as AM is picking that up from the GMiner API.

I don't know if something changes, but I seem to recall AM being able to show earnings for External miners in the past.
In general you should be able to view the mining income via External Miners as well. I just did some tests with Gminer here and I could see the issue you describe. The problem is that Awesome Miner didn't report any pool in this case, resulting in that the Pools tab wasn't updated correctly when you select the miner and the Define Pool Coin didn't work either.

A solution will be available in the next release. Thanks for finding it.

Ok, everything understood. I have already changed all the equipment to native OC, it works very well and the change is minimal. I only had the doubt of where to look at the oc that had been applied, once I looked at it. I no longer have problems.

MSI SERVER goes well but when it fails in 1 rig, you have to change the name and the folder and the task in all the machines. That was very annoying, it has already happened 12 times ..... I hope that with the native system everything is more stable.

The only thing I'm going to miss, is to see temperature graphs, but I can live without that.

Everything is better if you manage it AM natively, I do not do extreme OC, but I look for a configuration without exaggerating for each OC, now everything is much more controlled.
Thanks for the nice feedback on the new Native Overclocking feature.

I also have great news about the nVidia RTX GPU's - the fan control will very soon be supported. Once the implementation is ready and tested, it will be part of the next development release.

What a good update and how many new features in GPU now review them.

I have seen with pleasure the arrangement of the coins per day, and in the first tests and measurements, now if it is correct, it did not affect the profit but it was very confusing. Now it shows a correct number and works as it should.

When I see the GPU news, if I have questions, I will ask, I already use only the native mode

Apperance > customize progress
"Coins/day: " + Math.Round(miningHelper.GetCoinsPerDay(), 4)

@patrike, I have a little problem. I leave you a capture so you can see that by configuration I added the coins per day.

The problem is the following. When I change the profit in a currency, this is reflected in the daily profit, even in coins that you recently included. But the coins per day do not change. It does not matter if I put 0.7 that the 1.5 coins per day that I calculate do not change, I understand why the profit factor does not affect the formula for the stamping of coins a day.

For me it is important, because when measuring pools / currencies to know their real profit and then put the resulting profit, this is not reflected in the currencies per day.

Please could you tell me how to improve the configuration line or that you fix it in the next update. It does not make sense for a currency to put a profit of 0.80, effectively falling into the daily profit, but the coins remain the same.

My recommendation, in my ignorance, is that it would be more appropriate for the PROFIT factor to affect the HASH, in that way it will affect the price and the coins per day.

I think that from what I see, the profit only affects the price, therefore it does not affect the currencies per day because it is fixed in the HASH

I hope to give some solution
This is actually a good point.

Right now the Profit Factor is applied after calculating the number of coins, to increase/decrease the revenue and profit of the coin. A better way of viewing it is to increase/decrease the number of coins you get per day like you point out. I will update the next release for this to at least consider the Profit Factor of a coin. It will unfortunately be a bit complex if you also consider the Pool Profit Factor here, but I will take a look at what is possible for that one as well.

Edit: I've implemented this for Pool Profit Factor as well

I am impatient waiting for an update with the correction of the currencies .... It is important that the profit affects the currencies day. I am realizing with grin, where I estimate 7.4, it does not matter what elprofit I put, and I get around 4.8, if my profit of 0.80 were applied, it would be close enough. But now it is difficult to measure pools / coins without that correct information.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: February 12, 2019, 03:22:03 PM
I just did a test in a small rig. I have stopped MSI SERVER and in AM I have put the OC to be awesome miner.

I have forced several changes of something with different OC but in the rig the OC has not moved. I have left Aftherburner installed to know if the OC changes.

When I finished testing I went back to the usual with MSI SERVER and changed to AM and left it as usual.

That rig gave me problems, I had to go to the GPU and do the Mapping of the GPUs again to make it work.

As you said no info in your documentation please post the link here when you update it. I would like to use the most stable system. Sometimes the MSI SERVER stops working and you have to change the name of the folder in all the RIGS.

Right now I'm still with Aftherburne and MSI SERVER until there's more information on how to use your new OC version correctly.
I've updated the documentation page for GPU overclocking. It also contains information about how to troubleshoot if needed.
https://support.awesomeminer.com/support/solutions/articles/35000086015-gpu-overclocking

Please note that for several of the OC settings, it's not possible to use MSI Afterburner to detect if it's applied correctly. For some settings, MSI Afterburner must be restarted for the new settings to show up and for a few other settings MSI Afterburner have it's own way of reading/setting clocking so any changes you define using other applications will not show up. For this reason I pointed out in the documentation that you should use the Reload-button in Awesome Miner to verify the settings.

You refer to that button on the right, restart monitoring? If that is the case, you could make the restart every single change of OC. Aftherburner is good because at first glance you can see the OC applied, here it does not seem so easy to know the OC. You could show the name of the OC profile in the Coins tab

The other problem is RTX, if it is not able to handle the fans, what happens? Use the auto factory curve or change that speed even if it is auto.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: February 12, 2019, 01:53:19 AM

----------------------------
Troubleshooting
Use the GPU settings dialog, via the toolbar Tools -> GPU Settings) for adjusting GPU settings on a single GPU to verify that all settings works as expected
To verify if the GPU settings were applied successfully, use the Reload button in the GPU settings dialog to reload all properties from the AMD and nVidia GPU drivers.
If the values show up as expected, the GPU settings and overclocking operations have been successfully applied
If one or more settings didn't have the expected value, please report which GPU model and which setting that didn't work together with the Awesome Miner log file.
Do not use the MSI Afterburner application to check if the GPU settings were applied successfully. MSI Afterburner uses different overclocking concepts than other applications and may not display the current GPU settings correctly when set from other applications.
-----------------------------------

I have done a test and I do not see results. On one side of his help he says that you have to reload or update to see if the changes are reflected. I could leave a capture of that menu, sometimes the translations are not perfect.

It is not advisable to have MSI aftherburner installed, but it also does not indicate whether a change has been made. That's why it's important that you identify that GPU window for the native OC

If the native mode is not compatible with the RTX fans. How do we control them? Do they only go by car?

For me the important thing is to know if the OC changes are applied using the native mode, but I do not identify which part of the program I have to give to see the changes, I would appreciate a capture.

Bminer problems.

Now I have been seeing that if it is true that it does not need to include the -al-go in the miner's configuration. In fact it works for me with many algos, but when I tried it it was with tensory and there if it is true that it does not work, I suppose it will be the miner's own fault.

bminer-v14.3.0-cbb8683-amd64

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2519271.0
It can not be that, several people in my telegram group have the same url, which is the default one in AM and to them if it works, although it does not include the ticket of each a-l-g-o

It is the default download on your page, you can see it on the Ann link of BTC talk
and also I repeat that it is the one that AM includes by default

What is your Bminer url in the options> managed software> BMINER panel?
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: February 09, 2019, 02:05:40 AM

@patrike or @mopiddo I have a problem. For days I have noticed that Bminer does not work well for me and I use other miners.
Today reviewing optiona> managed software when entering Bminer, I see that it has some enabled by default, but they do not have the text of "A-l-g-o" does not put Cucka29, or tensory. But he does not let me put it manually either.

If I enter any other miner, I see that if they have defined the "A-l-g-o" or I can define it manually, but it does not leave me.

How can I fix this, right now I can not use Bminer in anything.

I do not feel like experimenting because I do not deconfigure.

How to use the native AW overclocking? I have no idea how to do it. I know that if I frame it, the aftherburner configuration is unchecked, but I do not know anymore.

Do they serve the same profiles that I already have?
The Awesome Miner overclocking works very similar to the Afterburner overclocking feature. As you notice you just have to enable it via the Options dialog and then it's being used automatically.

The GPU properties you can adjust may be a little different depending on what card you have if you compare Awesome Miner and Afterburner, but in general you should be able to use the same clocking profiles like before.

As this feature is currently in a Development version right now, the documentation on the web site is not yet updated to reflect this new feature.

Even if I use the AW version, can I leave the Aftherburner installed in the rig, without the MSI SERVER, just to see the OC applied by AW? does not interfere with having Aftherburner installed?

Until I'm sure I do not want to touch anything that could cause problems
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: February 08, 2019, 03:46:08 PM
Hello Patrike,
I think the new way AM calculate grin is little too optimistic. In my own example, for a hashrate of 45 H/s, with stats set to "current", AM tells me i would gain around 1.89 coin per day. For real, i get around 1.12.
So to have a more realistic number, i had to set a profit factor of 0.68 in coin properties.
I don't know it it's a real issue but i prefer to make a feedback on this...

in currency settings, advanced, PROFIT 0.80

No coin makes exact what wins. You have to measure pools / currency, the PROFIT of 0.80 is Grin29 with Sparkpool
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: February 08, 2019, 02:28:57 PM
Hi Patrike, two suggestions for the program.

You have already put in the pool of each coin the field NOTES: to leave notes on the currency, if you miss the difficulty, if you do not have exchange etc ... But you have to go to coins and look for it. You can do that in COINS when you click twice on the coin, leave also the same NOTES field that we have in the pool. And I do not mean a different one, if I put something in notes in the currency pool, it would also come out in coins when I double-clicked it. It is quicker to access this information and edit it from coins, because it is only a double click, than to access options> pools> find currency> edit. I think it's quite simple

Another suggestion: THE exchange filter for each currency is fantastic, I can not express how much I thank you, it is very useful. I was wondering if when displaying the exchange list of a currency you would put in bold color, or with an Asterisk, or even that only the exchange would come out where you have data. Something to know at a glance by scrolling which exchanges we have data for that currency. If not, I have to go and look for that information elsewhere. But as you receive it by API, if it is in 3, highlight those 3, or put them first, or underline them, be as it is to highlight them of the rest of exchanges that do not have data of that currency. It would be even more functional.

Thanks for your attention

I want to comment on a ruling that has already happened several times. I will give two examples.

I changed the exponential reward factor of ZERO equihash 192,7 and I put 5. The coin disappeared from my list of COINS. It is very easy to search, you are pressing Z and you are going through the different currencies, but this has disappeared from my list of coins.

Right now I just modified VEIL X16RT and I only added the price in SAtochis, since it uses a very rare exchange. I only added the price nothing more. And the currency has also disappeared from the COINS tab. I have searched several times but it is nowhere.

Although I put the price on satochis, and the coin disappeared, when I flipped the coin, it still gives me 0 of profit, because if I throw it to mine, even if I do not find it in coins.

I do not understand this problem, I just tell you what happens, to see if you can reproduce it.

I do not have selected exchanges neither in options nor in the options of the currency. I find this error very strange.
Sometimes coins are added or removed in the coin lists from the statistics providers. This can be for many reasons and often only temporary.

Awesome Miner has a setting to keep coins even if they no longer are included by the providers. Please see how "Keep coins no longer listed by provider" is configured in the Options dialog, Statistics Providers.
I know that reading them can cause coins to be lost for a few minutes. I talk to you about days, XGAC disappeared days ago. I have the option activated so that the coins that appear are not deleted. And I have not ignored them in options> coins.

All this I know, it's very basic. In other currencies I have changed the price and they have not disappeared, but these coins do not exist in my AW, they left.

I do not see ZERO, XGAC and the other of X16rt, some for changing the Exchange and others for changing the exponential value, or for the price. And it has only happened to me in these, as I have said in others it has not happened to me. I know this is very strange, I know, but I have to say it in case someone else happens the same.

I'm trying to mine Beam with AW and Bminer however I've got one issue.
AW is adding SSL into command line for some reason, how can I change this ?
I want to use new Nicehash stratum
stratum+tcp://beam.eu.nicehash.com:3370
It is properly added into pool config
That's what AW is generating as command line (I removed my BTC address so please don't mind XXXXXX)
Command line arguments:  -uri beam+ssl://XXXXXXX.PcOffice:x@beam.eu.nicehash.com:3370 -watchdog=false -api=0.0.0.0:4030

I'm mining BEam days ago. You do not have to put the whole stratum, you can use it alone

beam.eu.nicehash.com:3370

I do not advise you to use Nicehash because you will pay less to use the pool of greater hash in BEam that is sparkpool.

Bminer is giving problems to many people in my group, the cards are dropped and the equipment is stuck, but it is something that does not happen to me. Some fail and others do not, I do not know why, but it happens, I'm one of the few in my telegram group that Bminer behaves well

Anyway Bminery Gminer have a very similar performance, so you can use gminer without problems

Here is the list of BEAM pools
https://miningpoolstats.stream/beam

I can assure you that nicehash will give you less, I just have to see the services tab online nicehash 150.5 and I see that I get less with nicechash than direct mining, we are talking about 30% less, so my advice is that you mines directly

The best pool or one of the best to sell Beam would be bitforex. Every day you can do the withdrawal indicating the Wallet or there is also a very complex way to automate it, but of course whenever you can directly mine it, the auto exchanges will always give you less benefit.

also if you want to mine beam in nicehash, you just have to enable it by adding a BTC address and in the pool that you create, only 150.5 marks and you already have your rigs mining beam, you do not have to create the coin chip in Nicehash .
