821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Hash Auger 1.7.2: Multi-Pool Mining Manager for NVIDIA Cards on: April 15, 2018, 01:45:22 AM
in the setup section, on devices, when I customize the "ALGOS" with your OC, then I save it. But copying that configuration to the other cards does not work.

I save the OC configuration for each protocol, for example in GPU0, and then in the next I tell it to copy the GPU0 data and it just does not do anything.

It is a lot of work to do one by one the 6 cards of a rig, and configure the OC protocol to protocol. So the copy function does not work.

Another suggestion, there could be a more advanced benchmark, where it tests several intensities automatically to choose the one that offers the best hash performance. It would take longer, but it could be optional.

I will need some more information to help me troubleshoot the issue with copying the OC settings from one device to another.  In a quick test, I set OC settings for a couple algorithms on GPU0 and then saved the device settings. I then went to GPU1 and selected GPU0 from the list of devices to copy benchmarks from. A message box asked me for confirmation. I pressed yes and all the OC information copied over for each algorithm I had changed. The only thing that didn't copy were the intensity values, which I am going to fix for 1.8. I even did a few variations, such as reversing the cards, not saving the device benchmarks before copying and not enabling OC settings on the device that the benchmarks were being copied to. All the OC settings copied over in each of my tests.

I could use a little more information from you to help identify the issue. For example, did a message box appear after you selected GPU0 from the list? Did the benchmark hash rates change after you copied the settings over or did the entire list of benchmarks appear unchanged?

Also, I wanted to add that the software will use the OC settings on each device's Hardware tab if there isn't custom Overclock settings for a particular algorithm.  This allows you to set a default overclock profile that will apply to most algorithms without having to type in the same numbers for each algorithm. Then you can just enter custom settings for algorithms that should use different overclock settings. For example, you could set a default OC profile of +100 GPU and +300 Mem at 90% power limit on the Hardware tab and settings of 0 GPU and +100 Mem at 85% power limit for Raven.  The default settings would then apply to every algorithm except for Raven.

I just do that, set GPU0 and give it to save, I go to GPU1, I choose the selectable GPU0, I say yes, and nothing is copied.

Neither the general OC nor the OC for each "ALGO" is copied. I have tried to delete the program and reinstall, and the same thing happens to me.

In a much earlier version if I did it and it worked for me. I do not know how to fix this problem. It becomes very tedious to go card to card and for every ALGO to configure
822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Hash Auger 1.7.2: Multi-Pool Mining Manager for NVIDIA Cards on: April 15, 2018, 01:40:52 AM
A small mistake. When configuring the devices, I activate the OC, but I deactivate the auto intensity, since I add the intensity by hand for each protocol.

Even if you deactivate it (automatic intensity) and save for each card, restarting the program is activated again.

I can not be every time I start the program, I have to turn off the automatic intensity for each card.

I have tried changing other options of the OC and if they are saved, but it turns to activate the automatic intensity when starting the program. It is very annoying, I leave the program a few days and I will return with the next version.

It also works by copying all the settings from one card to another card. I edit completely GPU0 and in GPU1 I choose for the GPU0 and it does not make any change. It is very frustrating to configure each of the cards separately and not be able to copy the configuration of another card.

It is that, if all bots nemosminer, nicehash, hashauger etc ... always change to the most profitable, after a few minutes it stops being profitable and changes. In other words, in addition to making the profit fall, you have many more changes and more time lost between changes of coins and miners.

Maybe entering the second most profitable, fewer miners will enter, more time I will be extracting and maybe more benefit.

Is that how is this soft and others, in the end we ALL agree on the same coins in a short time, and we do not make it profitable because there are too many miners, with which the profit plummets in a few minutes and the Change to that currency in the end has not been profitable.

I personally use a 12% change in benefits, to have fewer changes.
When everyone is going to undermine the most profitable, I personally prefer the second currency, because it will be more real profit when fewer miners enter in a short time, at the same time will make the first currency hold more, and that way everyone earns more , those that go to the first currency and those that go to the second currency, because it diversifies the HASH between two or three coins.

You also have to control it, because it may be that the second currency is 50% less profitable than the first, but surely some option to control that could be added.
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Hash Auger 1.7.2: Multi-Pool Mining Manager for NVIDIA Cards on: April 14, 2018, 02:36:56 PM
First of all thank you for your program and its simplicity, I love it.
I am going to suggest a couple of functions to increase your versatility.

1.- I can have a list of currencies configured with your pool and wallet and that the program only makes the change between them. Right now you can not, now you can switch between algos, or mine a currency. But I would like to have 10 coins defined with their pools and wallets and just watch and switch between them. That would be a great point.

2.- Exchange option, that instead of entering the most profitable of the moment, enter the second or third. Because when a currency is profitable, suddenly thousands of bots like this enter that same currency and pool and kill their profitability, but if I enter the second or third that would not happen.

And a suggestion, I know it will be laborious, but implement Suprnova, the problem is that every thing has its url, login and pass. But it is one of the best groups there are for serious currencies.

Thanks for your great program and I hope you keep in mind even if it is only the first suggestion that I find VERY INTERESTING

I use your miner and I am grateful, whether I use it alone or in Nemos. I have not used the other miner copied from this.

It seems to me in very bad taste that that person has to come here again and again to discredit anyone, when he makes use of his work. For that reason, do not use the alternative fork miner of this one. He is a very shameless person.

I do not think he has lost many people, and little by little he will have more users again.

Luck and encourage, I expect new versions of your hsrminer that I like so much.

An idea for the same. Many times loses too much time changing difficulty again and again, especially in Suprnova, to avoid that or to define a fixed difficulty for us would be a breakthrough.

regards
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] lolMiner-mnx, Mining MinexCoin(MNX) New version: v0.3 (Mar 12) on: March 13, 2018, 02:39:02 AM
Thanks for the new version, it really is much faster. I like the option of not detecting work. Can someone pass me a Script or Bat of supervision, so that when the miner closes for that new option, I will re-launch it ....

Also say that the only weird thing that I have detected for now, that when you start it, it does not always do it, many times it closes at the very beginning, and I have to launch it a second time.

That's why I want to control when a card fails with the new option but I do not know of a small script that relaunches the miner's .bat if it detects that it stops or something that can serve
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] lolMiner-mnx, Mining MinexCoin(MNX) New version: v0.22 (Feb 23) on: March 11, 2018, 04:01:31 PM
The difficulty will be relative, in a few days when many are not profitable they will go.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] lolMiner-mnx, Mining MinexCoin(MNX) New version: v0.22 (Feb 23) on: March 11, 2018, 03:48:50 PM

Difficulty rose, and the LOL is unstable. I can not start all the cards, I have to launch a .bat for each card separately.

And if, the difficulty went up, we hope that the new version is more adjusted or in less than a week I will stop mining and prosecute with nemosminer.

There is still a lack of good documentation, as much as I try, I can not throw all the cards at once and if I do, just see one. I have read the documentation excasa several times, but it is normal, it is a beta product, I just hope it improves.

The fact that it barely gets hot, makes me wonder if you could get even more performance to the cards.

The maximum I've seen is 20,000 with 1080Ti Work 8 and a YouTube video paused behind.
833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: March 11, 2018, 03:42:47 PM

for a single currency I use the most efficient miner there is, I do not use Nemosminer to mine a single currency.

What I am saying is that nemos miner should know which currency is the one that is going up within a SOMETHING, and not mining all the coins of the same thing. That's just the big mistake he has.

Obviously for that I should compare with WTM, Coin-warz etc ... or simply with the price of the exchanges I would also know it.

the idea is good, but NH with less algos usually exceeds nemos, but I do not like Nicehash and I think there is still much room for improvement in Nemos
834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] lolMiner-mnx, Mining MinexCoin(MNX) New version: v0.22 (Feb 23) on: March 11, 2018, 04:00:45 AM
Does anyone know how to make .bat file for mixed GPUs (4 nVIDIA 1070 + 1 RX 580)?. My current .bat file for 4 x nVIDIA is:

Start /wait /high lolMiner-mnx.exe --server eu.minexpool.nl --port 3333 --user XTT3egehvejupZEPw97gv8Wof1dh1iQ9mT.Minex1 --pass 1 --platform 0 --device 0 --set-work-batch 12
goto :MINE

If I add one RX 580 how should look the .bat file ?
.    Make another bat file just for rx580.

I had a problem in that situation - the miner stopped working.

set work batch 12 it's too high a value for 1070, in my 1070 rig it's stable in 7
835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: March 10, 2018, 04:39:40 PM
Even so, nemos leaves something to be desired. Even mining a single currency more or less good you get more benefits, or even just mining a single thing like X17 with Nvidia cards.

Of the three sets, normal, 24h and plus, is that most often give benefits is 24, according to all my tests, but far from what can be obtained only by undermining a something or a currency of the TOP that makes nemo.

This means that it has not yet defined the Switching of ALGOs. Moreover, it should change to currencies and not to something. Sometimes mine the second Something in profits, but within that SOMETHING there are good and bad currencies, and mine as much as others, instead of mining the right currency.

You have to tune in to change something and mine the right coins.

The same rig, according to statistics, would earn $ 16, but get $ 9, and if I do it looking for the currency with another program, my benefit may be 16 or more.

The idea is good, it is still fresh, it still needs to mature. Maybe more quickly in the currency exchange to avoid losing in pumping or peaks, but I think the most natural way to work would be in the normal, real time, as long as exchange to BTC is done quickly.

I like Nemo a lot, and I will continue to give you opportunities later on, but you still have to improve when it comes to changing something, and you should also choose currency. Many times we see as mine for example X17 and some coins with a ridiculous benefit and other good profit. That has to be improved, it is the key that the program needs to make a leap in quality.

To me right now that a rig of 6 x 1080ti get as much as 16-17 $, it is lost of money, you get more if you lose time in looking for the currency of the moment.

I wish great success to this product and I am looking forward to try version 0.3, and I hope to see more specialized miners in certain currencies, there are many more variants of ccminer for each something

For example this next one is 15% faster in Lyra2rev2 and it is a fork of the Trupocvt
https://hardwaresfera.com/traemos-minero-optimizado-protocolo-lyra2rev2-monacoin-vertcoin/

I have also tried it with X17 and it gives very good results.

To see the surprises that version 0.3 will bring us, to me the interface or some information options I do not care, I want a better switch of ALgos and coins

Thank you for your help, but regrettably establishing 1 in the group did not help. And also checked list devices, it also does not help me according to readme.

Readme file but I read it is not entirely clear, it is also a beta with a thousand problems. The only way I have to work with is a window for Grafica and it gives some amazing results.

Ok, maybe readme is not so precise, so I will try to explain it slowly:

What is a platform?

First of all it is important to know that OpenCL can be run on tons of different processors, but requires a driver for the processor. Platform is hereby the OpenCL terminology for an OpenCL capable driver. Different to CUDA OpenCL allows multiple different OpenCL drivers on one computer, since there may be multiple OpenCL capable devices in the system. Especially when your rig has an Intel CPU it often happens that the Intel graphics driver are installed as well, because they ship with Windows.

LolMiner now requires to know which driver (platform) to use, since it only can use one at once. This is controlled by --platform <number>. The platforms are numbered by integers starting with 0 (first driver), next 1 (2nd driver) and so on.

How to find out which platforms are there?
lolMiner offers the option --list-devices. When lolMiner is started with this parameter it will print out a list with all platforms that were found on the system. Additionally for every platform all devices are printed that are found within a platform. Note that we use the term device, because beside the GPUs (which are most common devices) the miner can also run on a CPU. For example on an AMD APU system --list-devices will often print out one platform (AMD) and then two devices, one for the integrated GPU and one for the CPU. The same is true for the Intel platform when your processor has integrated graphics.

After printing out the miner will close directly. To see the output in Windows you must run cmd (the Windows command line), navigate to the directiory where lolMiner-mnx.exe is in and then run lolMiner-mnx.exe --list-devices directly from the command line. Writing the --list-devices to the configuration file is not supported and running in the batch will end up in the miner closing instantaneously and you do not see a print out.

How to set --platform and --device?

After running the --list-devices parameter you know what drivers lolMiner found with which GPUs. Also the order should remain always the same. Just look in the printout which number is attached to the platform you want to use (It prints out "Platform <number>: your platform name") . To select this platform use --platform <number> in the configuration file.

Below platform number and name --list-devices prints a list of all devices within the platform. Usually this list starts with the first GPU (index 0), then prints more GPUs and afterwards the CPUs and other devices in your platform. To select the GPUs to run the miner on add --devce 0,1,2...,n for the first n-1 devices you want to use. E.g. when 4 GPUs were detected before you can use --device 0,1,2,3 .

Hope this helps configuring Smiley

What about high memory usage of the miner?

This is something that is a bit specific to AMD platform. Their OpenCL compiler is extremely aggressive and uses certain amount of memory and time to compile the code before it is send to your GPU. This is also the reason why the miner takes about 10 seconds before the "Start mining..." is printed.  I observed that it usually is enough to have enough swap space (Linux) or virtual memory file (Windows) to start the miner on AMD. More RAM should not be required since this has only effect on the first 10 seconds of the miner running before the actual mining starts.

Hi, There seems to be bug regarding --enable-time-print as it is not printing time in my case on Windows 10 system. Just check once.

Odd ... I just tested it in Linux - will check if thats a Windows issue and try to fix it for next version

Miner have problem, if pool where it mines for devfee is down - miner stops mining for as too no matter if our pool is up, which is totally wrong by design.

The overall stratum interface has a lot of problems in 0.22. Therefore I made a complete new one for 0.3. This will handle things more gracefully.

I believe that I have nothing wrong, it continues to fail, it is always the same fault, it has to reconnect again and again. IF I use a simple configuration line in a .bat (one for each card)
lolMiner-mnx.exe --server mnx.suprnova.cc --port 7077 --user trucobit.work --p x --device 1 --set-work-batch 3

This works perfectly, gives a very high Hashrate, but then transforms into little currency.

But the configuration as it is stablished in 2 files, I leave the data, the list of devices, my configuration and the capture of the error reconnection continued

On the other hand I do not see a direct relationship between got hash and obtained coins.

Yesterday in 2 hours with VERY SIMPLE configuration, I made 0.1 coins (3 rigs), then I used the trick of the youtune video that elevates the HASH but it seems unreal. I chose not to use youtube and specify --set-work-batch 8 gives almost the same Hasrate but I hope it is more real.

SUprnova in its estimates is never true, but it is not wrong by much. Here he tells me that I will get 6 coins a day and I do not even get one. It is as if part of the hashrate, even told by Suprnova, is not valid. It is an observation of mine.

Anyway I would like to be able to launch a single file for all the cards of a rig, instead of a file for each card, but I can not make it work.

837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] lolMiner-mnx, Mining MinexCoin(MNX) New version: v0.22 (Feb 23) on: March 10, 2018, 01:17:58 AM
I would like to leave some words for the programmer to take into account, because when you open YouTube the HAshrate is faster.

YouTube, Google and Chrome are the same company. For years google bought On2.com a video codec very advanced of which I have a license for life, and closed the page. I use that codec as part of youtube. They have advanced it to the version called V9.

We all believe that when we see a video on YouTube, it sends it to us in Mp4 or Webm format, which are the standard ones and decodes the cards in real time. But when you watch a video on YouTube with Crhome, youtube sends you a video IN YOUR OWN FORMAT, which is separate from the industry and reduces the weight. To make it look, YouTube makes use of part of your GPU and CPU. What it does is activate certain non-standard protocols to allow crhome to play its videos, which are very light and use a google standard.

This I comment to give clues to the programmer because when opening a YouTube page behind, although this pause, causes the hash rate to rise. Open certain protocols, so I suggest you see what protocols launches crhome and youtube to see their videos with their own protocol. When you know this information you can add some solution to the Miner for a better HASH.

Anti-virus server disabled and the firewall too. The rigs run perfectly with other programs including the one recommended by Suprnova for MNX

I leave the error and my configuration, in this case it is 4 x 1060 3gb with a celeron and 8 gigas. It is the small test rig

I have a big question. I think it can not be done, but it is something that would be good to have it as an option.

The idea is that having several RIGS, although these are different in terms of graphics cards, I would be interested that all rigs mine the same. Now each RIg according to its control points mine what is best for that rig.

But I am interested if I am mining in Zpool, that all my machines go to the same ALGO, so that my participation in the block is greater. I think that it would be much more beneficial if it could be operated that way.

I know it's not possible, but I wanted to leave the idea here.

This could work:

Benchmark one rig.
Copy the stats folder from that to the other rigs.
They should all mine the same algo because they think they have the same hashrates as the 'master' rig…

Thanks
