241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding EOS? on: January 02, 2019, 03:59:23 PM
Time will tell what the EOS development team has really achieved and how much it has real value. At the moment it's just talk about nothing.
Moreover, there are several factors that expose a project not in the best light.
Blockblain and Whiteblock Inc. conducted a general study of EOS technology, the results of the study state that EOS pretends to be a chain of blockchains, and in fact is a distributed database. “The EOS network has a number of shocking security bugs that compromise most of its use options, so you cannot say that the network is a chain of blockchains,” the report of the experts says. (translation from https://bitexpert.io/news/set-eos-ne-yavlyaetsya-tsepochkoj-blokchejn/)
Experts also identify thousands of EOS that have been stolen from applications created on this platform. Recently, the number of hacker attacks is increasing, which suggests that the network is really vulnerable.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO MARKET SITUATION. on: January 02, 2019, 03:33:15 PM
I don't count on a bull run in the 1Q of 2019. Of course, a price increase to $ 6,000 is possible, but this will be temporary, in my opinion. Personally, I take this situation absolutely calmly, since I really can't change anything. In this situation, I just continue to trade, and don't spend my time on regrets, fears or empty hopes.
243  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin eventually disappear... on: January 02, 2019, 03:20:24 PM
It is estimated that the last bitcoin will be released in 2140. It will happen after the generation of block number 6 929 999.
After the world sees the latest bitcoin, the algorithm of the network will not change because of this - new blocks will continue to be created further.
Since the release of new coins will cease, the miners' remuneration will consist of commissions that network users pay to add transactions to the blocks.
The termination of the issue of bitcoin will only increase the price of the coin, so far it is not a question of how useful it will be. Bitcoin is digital gold, gold of the future.
but indeed it requires a very long time, maybe we have switched generations to see that. I think for now I'm still loyal to Bitcoin as long as it still produces. and enjoying the tidal process like now is a proud thing, because we participate in the development of BTC for the process until it reaches its goal

I also follow this course. Until that moment, as the last bitcoin will be extracted, it will take a long time, that is what I was trying to say. And even when this happens, Bitcoin will not disappear (as the author fears). The network will also continue to be supported, but the reward will not be mining of Bitcoin, but a commission from transactions.
244  Economy / Economics / Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency on: January 02, 2019, 03:04:14 PM
Fiat will always be here. I'm speaking of the US, it's just hard to get hundreds of millions of people to accept that. Specially when it's all they've known.
I'm sure that the US dollar will not always be. It doesn't matter that now the whole world accepts this currency. Monetary relations are present in a human’s life for not too long. It should also be borne in mind that they are constantly subject to various changes and adjustments. Since the world has already become acquainted with electronic currencies and has partially started accepting them, I'm sure that now it is only a matter of time. Sooner or later, humanity will become so developed that there will be no need for money-paper, including in US dollars.
Of course, at this stage of development, it is still too early to talk about this (above, in a post, I expressed my point of view on this matter), but for the distant future this is a real scenario.
245  Economy / Economics / Re: A cryptocurrency with volatility can't be used as money on: January 02, 2019, 02:53:51 PM
If we take this particular example, then the same can be said about any other currency. You buy an apartment for US dollars, but this doesn't guarantee you that in a few years this apartment will not lose in value, even if the dollar has lost in value. That is, this example absolutely doesn't show how unreliable  purchase is in bitcoins.

The price of an apartment or US dollars do go up and down but this ratio is very less. Bitcoin on the other hand moves 10 percent up and down within a single day and this is certainly not favorable for anyone doing business as money he got in the morning may be will 5-10% down in the evening and all the budget and planning is disturbed.

It doesn't matter much. If a person is serious about trading, then such volatility, on the contrary, is a positive one. The bottom line is that investing is risky and any currency is always unstable. The stability of national currencies is highly questionable, since we all know that their rate increases and decreases over time or under the influence of any circumstances. So, the described statement of the author: "impossible to use a currency with volatility as money" is initially false.
246  Economy / Economics / Re: the future of crypto is good or bad on: December 24, 2018, 08:15:08 PM
First of all, I would like to say that only you yourself can correctly estimate whether you should invest in crypto currencies or not. If you are unable to make this decision yourself, then it is better not to invest your savings. Many of us have come a long way and have not been without losses on this path. Therefore, if you are not ready to lose the money that you are going to invest, then it is better not to do it at all.
If you are still going to invest in cryptocurrency, then you need to learn this business. You must understand everything. The crypto currency market is very unstable and here the one who earns the smarter and more experienced one. You must learn all the risks.
In general, now is a great time to invest and I personally believe in the bright future of cryptocurrency. But my faith is based on my knowledge, experience and beliefs, and I know how I will act in a given market situation. And what will you do when the price of your coins falls by 70% of its original value? How will you behave when the market gets you into situations that are unexpected for you? It is better to have answers to these questions before you start investing. Make a plan of action for different situations and follow it.

248  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I choose on: December 24, 2018, 07:48:23 PM
In order to invest anywhere you need to figure it out.  If you have already figured out this and you only have a choice where to invest, all the same, only you yourself can answer this question. After all, only you know in what business you want to invest and what its prospects.
If I now had the choice to invest in a real promising business or in crypto currencies, then I would first invest in a real business, and later put profits from this business into crypto currencies.
I will explain why. If you have limited start capital, then it is better to spend it where you will get a profit with a higher probability. After all, you now don't have the knowledge necessary to invest in cryptocurrency, so you can make a lot of mistakes, which in the end result will lead to the loss of your money. And in the process of developing a real business, in parallel you will be able to set aside time to study the information necessary for investing in crypto currency.
249  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do with the current market? on: December 24, 2018, 07:32:59 PM
The best strategy now is constant trading. Each chooses the coins, which it is convenient for him to trade. In such a situation, this option will give the opportunity to earn. But the most important condition for the use of this option is the possession by the trader of the knowledge and experience necessary for this. If you don't have enough knowledge and experience, then I advise you to correct this, since trading is the most successful option for making money in the crypto market now.
250  Economy / Economics / Re: Each country has its own crypto currency! on: December 24, 2018, 07:21:28 PM
I suppose that when issuing their coins, these countries will provide them with the currency of their own country or with some valuable resources of their country. So real value can be estimated only later, when the currency is created. For example, if the United States creates its own currency and backs it up with the United States dollar, then that currency will obviously have a high value.
And if Russia launches its coin and backs it up with diamonds (and we know that Russia ranks first in terms of mining diamonds in the world), then its currency will also be very much appreciated.
But for earlier nothing can be said for sure.
251  Economy / Economics / Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency on: December 24, 2018, 07:10:18 PM
I think that reasonable people don't want to eradicate fiat right now. After all, now there are absolutely no conditions for all the inhabitants of our planet to have the opportunity to use cryptocurrency. Moreover, almost half of the world's population, or 3.4 billion people, live on less than $ 5.50 a day (according to data from this source, https://economics.unian.net/other/10301172-pochti-polovina- naseleniya-mira-zhivet-na-5-5-v-den-vsemirnyy-bank.html). And until this situation is changed, there can be no talk of completely eradicating fiat.

253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we still "Early Adopters"? on: December 24, 2018, 06:29:32 PM
I think that we are still early adopters. Because the crypto world has been developing for only 10 years. And what is 10 years for the development of such an industry that is so difficult for most to understand? Yes, some people have already figured out the technology and invested their money in cryptocurrency. But this is just a small part of the people. I think that in 30-50 years everyone will agree that those who invested in the first 10-15 years were early adopters.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we Re-Brand Bitcoin? on: December 24, 2018, 06:13:20 PM
We should not re-brand bitcoin, because it is already serving for a decade now and its name is already known and familiar all over the world especially to places that are  using digital currency, bitcoin had establish its name as a bitcoin so it should not be change to other hind of name.

Branding does not imply a name change. Branding is just a change of style, mostly external. I do not know how branding can be attributed to bitcoin because it is a digital asset and it does not have such a style. Maybe that's his main problem. I would try to draw something interesting, but only if someone paid me.

Rebranding is a marketing strategy in which a new name, term, symbol, design, or combination thereof is created for an established brand with the intention of developing a new, differentiated identity in the minds of consumers, investors, competitors, and other stakeholders. Often, this involves radical changes to a brand's logo, name, legal names, image, marketing strategy, and advertising themes. Such changes typically aim to reposition the brand/company, occasionally to distance itself from negative connotations of the previous branding, or to move the brand upmarket; they may also communicate a new message a new board of directors wishes to communicate. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rebranding)
Yes, in the world of crypto currencies, some teams use rebranding. For example: Dash used to be called Darkcoin, Neo used to be called Antshares, Nano formerly known as RaiBlocks. Behind the rebranding is not only the change of name, but also some internal changes.
But, as I wrote above, Bitcoin doesn't need rebranding. In my opinion.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really driven by individuals? on: December 23, 2018, 09:24:21 PM
Bitcoin value doesn't equal 0, at least for one reason - the cost of mining. Without mining, Bitcoins will not be, that is, a necessary condition for the existence of Bitcoin is mining. In order to make mining possible, it is necessary to purchase special equipment and pay for the power grid that will be spent on the operation of this equipment. That is, already at this stage, Bitcoin production has costs.
We all know that over time, bitcoin mining becomes more difficult, and the block reward decreases. That is, the initial cost of extraction of a single unit grows. This is what determines that the value of Bitcoin can't be equal to 0.
And the demand for bitcoin affects its current price.
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin not used in medical billing? on: December 23, 2018, 08:54:10 PM
It would be great to pay for any services (including medical) cryptocurrency. But today the world is not ready for it. Yes, the part of developed countries where people have an adequate financial level are much closer to realizing this. But how to  implement this  in poor countries? This is a question that worries me a lot and I can't find a solution for today.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we Re-Brand Bitcoin? on: December 23, 2018, 08:36:30 PM
What coin definitely doesn't need rebranding is Bitcoin. Where did you get the information that bitcoin has a bad reputation? And what is this bad reputation at all? I have not heard of it anywhere.
Yes, many weak and stupid people tend to blame Bitcoin for what happens to the market and that the coin! is blame of their failures. But do we really need to take into account the opinions of these people? These people don't see beyond their nose and they are not able to admit their mistakes, so no rebranding will definitely help, these people will continue to blame Bitcoin (or something and someone) for all their misfortunes.
Rebranding also doesn't resolve the issue that people can associate Bitcoin with some kind of physical coin. This is the usual ignorance. Time will help to cope with this question. People need time to learn about the blockchain and the currencies created on it. For this crypto enthusiasts have to talk about it with people who don’t know about it yet.
By the way, Bitcoin is already very modern, so it doesn't need rebranding.
258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much damaged bitcoin has brought you? on: December 19, 2018, 04:26:46 PM
Bitcoin didn't cause me any damage. The only one who can actually cause damage is only a man himself with his decisions and actions.
Reading your post, I'm just amazed. How can you think like that? Are you 12 years old? How could you invest money not thinking about risks? Why don't you understand that only you are guilty?
Bitcoin or the market or anyone else didn't take money from you. You yourself invested your money, so you had to assess the situation and make the appropriate decision. Your decisions were bad, and that was what caused your financial situation. And the fact that you blame in this BITCOIN! only shows that you don't want to be responsible for your decisions and actions. I think you're not one of those guys who can make money on investments.
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My sweet and bitter experience about bitcoin on: December 19, 2018, 04:13:07 PM
I think many have acted like you. Everyone just lost a different amount. The market taught a lesson to all who simply hoped for good luck. The market is not a game of roulette, the market is the place where knowledge is needed to make money.
It is good that your loss is not as big as that of some traders. I know the stories of people who were millionaires in December, and now just in despair at the sight of the amount that  have left.
You got a valuable lesson. I hope your conclusions are correct and you have already begun to study the necessary information in order to work successfully in the market of crypto currencies.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto market in depression on: December 19, 2018, 03:56:33 PM
This is indeed true of the crypto market in a state of depression even this lasted for months and until now is still in the same condition, but I am sure this condition will surely pass, not so the market will be like this, only time will restore the market to its original condition and we must be patient about this
Just patience, in my opinion, is not enough. Just think for a moment that you are just losing your time, money and opportunities. And this situation can be changed. Start exploring how to trade right now. Even in a bear market, you can earn well and consistently.
