241  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much lower you think BTC can go in this drop ? on: February 25, 2021, 12:31:41 PM
Hi Guys i would like some opinions, in this drop how low can btc go before it starts going up again , any idea what is the resistance or what could the bottom floor be for it ? I was hoping around 40-42k but it seems that it does not want to go below 47k , what do you think ? Thank you

What you're hoping right now was too little compared on my expectations. As year 2021 started, btc value skyrocketed quickly until $40k to $50k; then there could be a possibility of potential downtrend because it seems this price was too high compared from last ATH of 2020. Hopefully, there's another deeper corrections to take place that drops below $20k for us to have more chances to accumulate another asset to hold as preparation for $100k.
242  Economy / Speculation / Re: next Bitcoin price correction WHEN? on: February 25, 2021, 09:32:28 AM
BTC price goes up and up ever since we had last correction at 42K. now we are at 57.4 K and climbing which is very very good. some people even expect no correction until 80-100K. if we move like that we may see price over 100K as soon as 2-3 months. what do you think?

Corrections often happen when price starts to go down, and what I had observe lately was a simple stabilized price of $50k range. It doesn't go down and go up so fast, it's optimized price which I seen a strong momentum build up. We're still far from the reality of $100k, struggles can be so harsh for now due to more challenging market.
243  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next target 40-42k area before new ATH? See 2 year moving average on: February 24, 2021, 11:57:43 PM

Green line is 2 year moving average, red line is 2 year moving average x 5.

This pattern is very interesting if we compare it to 2017 bull run, it would mean right now we could be in July-September 2017 repeat, meaning huge move on the upside in the next few months?

Also, this chart is very interesting because it indicates once we overtake the red line, the rise in price is very sudden and very sharp and a big crash follows after that. And bear in mind that those 2 lines always go up so the red line could very well be around 80k once we go above it. So, 150k-200k looks very achievable but then a big dump is likely.
The bigger the pump, this is also a potential dump when whales got an idea behind this analysis. Indeed, predicted values is really great achievement when perfect time will come, but $100k upward is really difficult because of several speculations that affects the growth of btc. I'd would wish $20k will come back then we will buy more asset before top price predictions happens.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is the right time to gamble on football. on: February 24, 2021, 11:33:32 PM
It should be taken as fun and no profession as you can’t rely on a profession which relies on luck.
Well said. Having a profession that is so unreliable can only cause headaches. Personally, I would not consider it.

I'm sure people have their own reasons for gambling but before going down that path it is important to check your state of mind and stick to your plans. Always expect to lose, in fact expect losses 99% of the time. Any winnings are a plus.
Those who gamble for money and take this seriously are using many strategy so he’ll succeed but to those who see gambling for fun, then you’re good as well. The right time to bet on sports or football is when you’re a fan of that specific team or when you just believe that the current match are indeed exciting and can give you profit when you bet. I do bet as well every time my team is playing.

That's a good mindset over sports if we love the game that we desite to bet for, because as many said gambling only for money has no purpose of entertainment. Gambling or betting on your favorite teams has a good sense, because you're not just enjoying but also earning some lucky wins as well when their lucky days has come.
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambling black market thrives in Britain on: February 24, 2021, 11:10:10 PM
Have you ever used illegal black market to make a bet ? Gamble ? When the normal opportunities were not available ? But what do we think about Britain? In the Britain the black market gambling have more than just doubled , which is a matter of concern for everyone and not just the government.

-Despite having Gambling as a controlled legal sport the black market continues to flourish. WHY ?
What are your opinions?

https://www.gamblinginsider.com/news/11001/new-bgc-research-shows-number-of-customers-using-black-market-sites-has-more-than-doubled

Now why should it be a matter of concern?
- With the new Variant already in the UK these illegal platforms might be a hub for the fast spread of COVID plaguing the whole world
-there is no minor protection policies
-more illegal things are drug dealing and money laundering might be connected with such cases.

I do think the government needs to actually look forth for their licensing policies they time and again force the small gambling companies to shut off their business but at the same time doing it illegally doesn't make it any less of a crime.

What are your thoughts ?
Have you ever tried Gambling in the black market ?

I don't risk over gambling through black market, all operations related to this site is illegal and everyone knows that in the internet this is really dangerous. They could've hack you identity once you're doing transactions with them, as long as you're connected to their ip. Online gambling is operating underground, and this is really against the law. They're monitoring black market activities, but their IT support is unbreakable and I believed this is handled by bigger sindicates which is kept anonymous.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what do you think about the few days deep on: February 24, 2021, 10:30:36 PM
I noticed the recent deep generally affected most of the ALT coin within 48 hrs turning Red. i bought EOS at $5.2 but i was panic to sell reason because most of my assets was greatly at loose and i couldn't bear the pain so i have to sell off most them to be able to secure them, not too long the market changes direction again and already i have lost most of my investment.

Do we expect another deep soon?
what is your intake, please be free to drop your comments.

I am expecting more opportunities to come, specially for those who failed to buy their favorite coins during bearish days. This is our best chance to purchase them, and wait for recovery to happen. However, we should be picky for selecting the prospected asset, because you may fail if you won't choose the right point when to buy. Analysis is always the best key in order to deal with it with a certain actions.
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sponsor Money from Casino, Is bad or Good? on: February 24, 2021, 09:48:58 PM
I does not mean that if a popular youtuber sponsored by a newly build casino that I will play there right away. These casinos need to build community, sponsoring someone to promote their platform is not enough to gain customers. Online casinos should be straightforward and highlights the benefits of using their platform.
Yes, I think the casino will not suggest or force the YouTuber to play gambling because that will be the YouTuber's decision.
If the YouTuber can try to gamble on the site he promoted, that can give the site more viewers or visitors. Still, the casino needs to warn the YouTuber or their viewers that playing gambling will be their responsibility and never use big money to gamble.
That will be a good suggestion to every people who watch the advertisement, and the viewers will see that the casino gives a warning before they gamble.
That kind of sponsor is one way to promote their platform so that the casino can grow day by day.

Indeed, promotions is always a good potential to grow a certain business in order to compete with several gambling sites. We have our freedom to choose and with respect to bad or good, that just depends on a perspective of an individual who judge a certain idea about gambling. Because, generally you can't figure our a person who been ruined by gambling and it's only the effect of his bad habits we consider gambling to become bad. With respect on sponsorship there's no definite judgement but purely business.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why ETH dropped 20% from the high peak? Anyone knows? on: February 23, 2021, 11:25:18 PM
From USD2000 dropped down to USD1400 for only 2 days?

Anyone knows what is happened?   Cry

Basically it's the point here, long term holders have decided to dump and their mindset was already profit. They're thinking to do buy and sell this time in order to increase the quantity if their holdings. By the time of recovery they'll able to gain much higher returns. Whales don't care of losing, because if they won't risk they'll fail to grab the chance to earn much even bigger profit.
249  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bloody Crypto market. on: February 23, 2021, 09:19:29 PM
All we know Forum is the main destination for discussing crypto, Bitcoin and so on on behalf of digital currencies including the crypto market.

I saw some media, youtube, 100% of people involved in the crypto world. 30% panic, there are hundreds of inaccurate and irresponsible information, many people sell, the current market conditions are red, I am completely wary of this phenomenon, my mind is stuck, solutions are not found, strange, but that's what is happening right now.

The purpose of this topic: give an idea or something that you know about the current market conditions, I mean a good step to consider.

What are you doing seeing the conditions like today .....!

Regards.
Yoshie.

I am doing some research and other stuff to monitor the recent market conditions, and I pay attention to what might be happening in case market drops so bloody. However, I keep motivating myself not to panic yet because wrong decisions may lead me to bigger losses. With bitcoin top price today, fud is already happening and I think most investors started to be anxious of nowadays due to bad news and disappointing ideas of other people.
250  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is now a TRILLION dollar asset! on: February 21, 2021, 10:54:56 PM
High $53k's right now and its right at $1 trillion market cap!

When i first bought Bitcoin in Nov 2013 it was about $10 billion. now a trillion!

Awesome market cap ever, and this is the best proof for those people who doesn't recognize bitcoin as trusted asset. They've been slapped so hard with this capabilities of bitcoin. All controversial issues, that it's scam or whatever fud ran by manipulators were all gone.
Trillion cap is somehow unbelievable, but let's face reality if it and embrace.
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logan Paul moving to Puerto Rico, fight back on? on: February 21, 2021, 09:18:12 PM
Logan Paul announcing he’s moving to Puerto Rico to save on income taxes seems to me like a move one would make if they were planning a big payday. That makes me think the fight with him and Mayweather may actually happen.  That or he’s got some other big business moves in the works, but I can’t think of any.

What do you think? Will this fight still happen?

Maybe yes or not, there's no assurance at all because if they won't negotiate very well with the contract payment on what each side nay earn for possible fight, it won't happen. Mayweather is a highest paid boxer himself, and he even do promotions of any fight for novice boxers. That's he was never beatin because of strategic approach on boxing.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Elon Musk's Tweets... on: February 21, 2021, 08:52:53 PM
"No highs, no lows, only Doge"

"Dogecoin is the people’s crypto"

This guy is only playing with you and the markets. It's all fun for him, he's just trolling.

Certainly this man is a whale for this project and with his strong comments on dogecoin, I believed many folks would go for him and trust his words. I don't think he was just trolling, because I don't see any negative feedbacks against him and for his track record he became successful with his efforts and hard works. Let's open our eyes with him, and if others think out negatively then that's their own mindset.
253  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best way to "secure" your coins? on: February 21, 2021, 07:49:15 PM
Let's assume someone has a bigger amount of crypto (10 BTC+). Now this person assumes that the price will drop and therefor instead of hodling, he wants to "secure" his crypto in USD and buy back at a later point. What is the best and safest way / exchanger to do this? Stablecoin? Is DAI the only stablecoin that cannot be frozen? The whole procedure also should not include any KYC. Not because it is illegal money, but because said person has heard some horror stories and wants to be as safe and anonymous as possible.

Good strategy if you do have usd and you keep it in your wallet or any bank, but it's not a wise idea if you diverted it towards cryptocurrency while it's still at higher value. Nobody can predict when the price will going to saturate from to bottom price. Don't invest with unknown asset, always have a good options with btc or eth in a cheaper price. Waiting might be boring, at least you have enough money for investment plans.
254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without experience and knowledge on: February 21, 2021, 12:32:06 PM
Trading has become an activity that is often carried out by cryptocurrency enthusiasts, when you hold coins you are indirectly required to understand how to trade, at least how to sell and buy on exchanges is general knowledge that every cryptocurrency enthusiast must have.

But as the cryptocurrency ecosystem develops, there are lots of trading signals that eventually make many cryptocurrency enthusiasts who have no experience or knowledge of trading try to trade in order to find daily profits.

In your opinion, can someone trading without experience or knowledge?
You can trade without knowledge, but in the long run you'll soon fail if you can't beat emotions. Same with gambling, you can't beat the system if you won't count and analyze what moves you need to take to hit the wins. By experience, knowledge will follow in the same manner and yet that needs to develop in the long run.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling payments fees on: February 20, 2021, 10:48:40 PM
As we all knew the crypto bull run is her with bitcoin leading at a price of between $56k to $57k and transactions fees at a very high price most especially the ethereum gas fees skyrocketing. How are gambling platforms receiving this have there been a change in their withdrawal fees inline with the current high fees. I believe some casinos gambling platforms like bustadice still charge same fees in bits.

Let me know if there is any that have increased their transaction fees.
Most of the sites have increased their fees, but don't be intimidated with this news because you still have bigger winning amount as to compared with the fees. Every transactions done on each gambling site is very important for them, that's their ways to earn in order to sustain with the operation. Business overhead will always count on, and I guess blockchain transaction fee will always be shouldered by every gambler and not by the administration of an online gambling.
256  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just smashed $50k on: February 20, 2021, 08:42:30 AM
I wouldn't still call it a hard-smash since it barely to almost touched that price but I can confirm that it happened when I checked "btc to usd" in Google.
Right now, BTC seems like to hug around 47-49k a lot. Guess it would be great for shorter term trade to get those juicy profits and buy again while it seems to bounce around that price.
For us long-term holders, well hodl. We'll get there.
There is no doubt the OP exaggerated a little bit when he made this thread but I think that right now we can actually talk about bitcoin smashing that level, bitcoin has reached 56k and it seems that it has still some room to grow, obviously we are all happy about what it is happening but at the same time I cannot help but wonder how long governments are going to tolerate this, the higher the price goes the more news we will see around the world about bitcoin and the more interest we will get from the average person that will want to invest here instead of the stock market.

It sounds funny if I would have remembered the past of 2017, that made me frustrated because I spent all of the btc I had. Happy days! Yeah of course, that's only for people who been patient for such a long time but not for me nor others. Because, that's a worst nightmare if I'm going to think day by day. Maybe I should avoid reading their happy feelings, rather wait for another price dips coming.
257  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Bitcoin is going cross $60k? on: February 19, 2021, 11:46:44 PM

Only a week, from February 10-17, we waited for Bitcoin's price to jump from $40k to over $50k.

How long will we wait for Bitcoin's price to reach the new ATH above $60k?

The price would come to a certain point that it would struggle to obtain a price towards $60k. We will see several drop this time but within a range between $55k to $60k. Hopefully next month is the fulfilment of that predictions, because $100k is our ultimate potential price to break here.
258  Other / Off-topic / Re: Deontay Wilder: He makes another WILD conspiracy theory about his loss to Fury on: February 19, 2021, 09:57:16 PM
I like to be mad to him for his stupid mind but I have to understand what he is going through, maybe until now he still cannot accept his one and only loses and that he is not a champion anymore, with the way he has been doing, he only makes himself worst and expressing to the public that he can never beat Fury anymore. I pity him to be honest.

That's his agony behind the depression he went though right now, and we really can understand about that matter. But what's wrong with his was he can't managed to move on, and what he needed is to accept the fact that he lost. I also don't have a good mood on him, he is like a spoiled bratty child who've been very noise at all and speaking non sense.
259  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bit Coin hits 55,000 USD on: February 19, 2021, 09:29:14 PM
How about that ?? $55,000  up about $15,000 in around one months time .
I notice a dip in several stocks , could be that the wiser investors are now trading in BTC ?

I sold several ounces of gold ,to buy in a week ago.  I'm a happy guy .

Good for you mate, and what's happening these days is a good trend. We see more trading of bitcoin became uptrend, and basically that's the effect on several stocks because more holders now are starting to divert as hype gone trending. Moreover, news is now creating different speculations so it's like a magnet of opportunities.
260  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria led global crypto adoption in 2020 on: February 19, 2021, 02:47:49 AM
and I want to see how 2021 becomes a big dilemma for Nigeria. will it be the advantage that continues to lead the adoption or will it diminish. reduced not because of the interest of its users, but because of the policy that has caused some users to be forced to stop cryptocurrency transactions. so how long this polemic will continue not to be realized. Nigeria has potential for the future, and is facing serious obstacles.

Those obstacles must be settled down in order for Nigeria to come up their potential. If someone or somebody will stop them, there's a big question that came to my mind right now! That's  huge conflict of power and money, because if their country leaders would be able to allow citizens to continue crypto adoption their country will be able to beat poverty. Unfortunately, this country their population also suffered from huge financial problems.
