241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can i trust EtherDelta with my Private Keys ? on: November 06, 2017, 04:08:11 PM
Hello,

I wanted to try etherdelta to trade my tokens.

Can i trust etherdelta with my Private keys ?

Hi,

Yes, you can. It's a decentralised exchange that has latest ICO Tokens added every week. My advice, instead of entering your private keys from Ethereum wallet choose *New account and safe locally private keys and new wallet address.

Just to be on safe side I will not recommend you to input your private keys because if you have for example on your wallet few different Tokens you always put them at unnecessary risk, better if you have Ethereum Etherdelta wallet address and transfer funds in order to buy Tokens and when complete send to your private Ethereum wallet.

Password and Private keys should be stored separately in 2 encrypted files with strong and different passwords using software like VeraCrypt.
Remember there is always a risk if you store files on Network connected PC.

New type of Malware starts appearing on the Internet that change clipboard wallet address so you transfer your Bitcoins to hackers wallet address without knowing.

242  Other / Archival / Re: is EVERY ico a scam?? on: November 06, 2017, 06:23:04 AM
Everybody keeps on saying scam scam scam for all of these ICO's. 90% of them are crap, yes. BUT there is the 10% of them, like vector, who are absolutely not scams. They are good projects that will really help the crypto community grow and its not fair to call an ICO a scam until you have actually researched it and you are sure it is a scam.

Just my two satoshis...

People keep saying that 90% ICO's are crap but truth to be told is the point of view, if you except 100x profit quick then yes you can say like that to 90% ICO's. Someone once said timing is very important with ICO, and I had to say is truth, if you hit that spot when price is LOW and SELL high then you will make good profit. All comes to how much money you want to make or multiply your investment.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a scam on: November 05, 2017, 09:32:37 PM
The best strategy is not to invest in ICOs. You can always invest later once it is available for trading and/or once the project proves itself.

I totally agree with deepcryptomine, investing in ICO's without perfectly chosen one it's very risky. If you experienced user then yes, you can try in good ICO like Kyber Network where users been selling emails in order to be whitelisted and participate in Initial coin offering.

Best option so far in last 2-3 months was just waiting when the project is available on exchanges and buy on dips and the meantime instead of waiting for exchanges purchase some Bitcoins.

Remember ICO's at early stages can be very risky investments, they need a lot of time before can prove that they are worth your hard-earned money.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 05, 2017, 07:25:46 PM
October 29, 2017 Bitcoin price ranges from $6,000 - $6,100 and today, bitcoin price is now $7,000. Are you surprise?

I think, if only those people who planning to invest in bitcoin manage to notice this sudden increase. I think there is a high chance that they will start investing.

I am really surprised with Bitcoin price now, there was some negative news about crypto in general like ICO's ban in some countries around the world, China shutting down their exchanges and now recently India is on first page that Gov may shut down cryptocurrency dealers and exchanges, and we can see results in 100K new users on Coinbase in just 24h.

China news trigger panic sell and BTC price to go down first, but it looks like even there is some bad news about Bitcoin price is still rising and getting close to $ 10.000 historical mark.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] [VIB] Viberate | Decentralized Music Talent Marketplace on: November 05, 2017, 05:03:43 PM
Do you think the price of the token can really go up to $1 based on the total supply of 200million coins?
Based on the trend of other coins it seems unlikely but I hope!

I can't see why not. Team is legit and they systematically making progress, and this is one o three IOC's I have I don't need to worry, the price is stable when Bitcoin is rising, and there is no massive price drops here like on Monetha (MTH). Sure there will be ups and downs like in any crypto, but 200 Millions Total Toke Supply is not that much, 1$ can be achieved very easy, even $ 2-5. Fingers crossed VIB Team!
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: November 05, 2017, 05:57:11 AM
I hope to invest in this wonderful project.
the price is down i think its a right time to invest in sonm project now
this project have a great future SONM team is working great
latest news from sonm is Faceter and SONM are pleased to announce the start of a technical cooperation.
check here for more info!
https://medium.com/faceter/faceter-and-sonm-are-pleased-to-announce-the-start-of-a-technical-cooperation-261c88e790ae
i think sonm will be a very huge in the mid of 2018
i am holding my sonm for long term

It'll be bigger in the middle of 2019 I believe, in 2018 they'll release the working product but it's gonna need time to really stretch all over the globe. The more companies start working with Sonm, the more valuable the shares will be. I'm thinking at least 5$ a coin by 2019
I'm actually thinking of flipping some of my SONM into hardware to rent out on the platform to support the project once we crack $1 to $3. Going to have to wait to see some numbers so I can properly estimate the outcomes though.
Yes $5 in 2019 is possible but if we keep on holding our coins. In all altcoins there are weak hands that spoil  price

I agree 5$ is real by 2019 no doubt about that and it's very modest prediction. I cross my fingers for developing team and hope there will be no issues with this project. SONM is my FAV alt I am watching and have in my portfolio.  I am accumulating each month on dips and now when BTC is on rise price is really attractive. Let's keep SNM and not sale single one by 2019.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you make money from ICO? on: November 05, 2017, 04:33:27 AM
An initial coin offering is similar in concept to an initial public offering (IPO), both a process in which companies raise capital, while an ICO is an investment that gives the investor a cryptocoin, more commonly known as a coin or a token in return for investment, which is quite different to the issuance of securities as is the case in an IPO investment. Do you invest in ICO? and has you make money from it?

I invested recently in few new ICO's, but is really very hard - I don't recommend this to a not experienced user. First thing you need to wait really long time for good return, you can flip coins in short term too. Timing when buy and sell is crucial. I don't expect any real profits in less than 18 months because any good ICO need time to develop and progress.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins Going down what do we expect in the coming months on: November 04, 2017, 11:39:00 PM
As we know now, bitcoin surging to reach 10000 usd by the end of the year
this has been the trend day to day, are we seing the dawn of altcoins?
its been a month now since altcoins are low, and there is no stop of slowing down,
what may be the cause of this trader , miner or its just a trend that we need to learn?

As long as Bitcoin price will rise, altcoins may go down or stay neutral. I think many investors sold alts in favour of rising bitcoin price and catch that train now. Now, how long will stay like this? No one knows for sure, but if BTC reach 10.000$ it should slow down and there will be price correction for sure. Right now investing in altcoins is only good if you see big drop in price and get right moment, because all alts I follow been losing in value, and only couple stays neutral.
249  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much BTC will fall in 3 days after Segwit2x fork in November? on: November 04, 2017, 07:27:19 PM
The truth is nobody knows
If you are asking about individual opinion then it may go down to US$ 5800-6500 as I believe.

ShadyRifles is right, no one knows that. My prediction is US$ 6200-6500 not less than that. Fork is not something like China ban news, that you can use and spread panic news over the Internet, there may be correction but not like some users wrote 4000$ or 5000$ I don't think it will go that low.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoins transferred without sending them on: November 04, 2017, 05:01:18 PM
I think is stolen, mixing service can be used if you want to spend your bitcoins on the darknet in the marketplace. For me, it looks like your PC had malware/virus or remote control software. I think somebody once gained access to your PC was searching for *wallet*.dat and that file was stolen from you. Why do I think this way?
If you didn't create this transaction and whole 4 BTC has transferred this points you been hacked and someone was waiting to make that transfer and you didn't set password that could slow down process but it will not stop from stealing, I've seen on Internet *offers* to crack password protected wallet.dat files is someone lost password.

I can only advise you in future to consider hardware wallet like Trezor or Ledger Nano S purchased from an authorised dealer or better from the manufacturer. Never keep all your crypto in one wallet, anything above 0.3 BTC store in cold storage. I use Veracrypt Encryption software, and online PC have wallet addresses but no private keys.
Two separate containers above 1GB files - take some time to copy, and in cold storage private keys and passwords, but once I have 0.5 BTC I will buy hardware wallet.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I hate 90% of Bitcoin investors on: November 04, 2017, 01:23:22 AM
Bitcoin attracts a lot of investors because is expensive and the price is rising, but it doesn't mean that everyone never uses it and just bought for long-term investment. I used bitcoins first time on Silk Road, the second was Ebay. Why Silk Road? That time I didn't know there was a way to spend BTC on eBay, once I learned how to use bitcoins I used it on eBay and buy some stuff.

You can't blame newcomers that they just buy and get excited about it. Everyone had that moment when first rime hard about Bitcoin.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Who uses Myetherwallet? on: November 03, 2017, 08:55:50 PM
A lot of Ethereum network users have MyEtherwallet is bookmarks, it's easy, fast and convenient way to keep ECR 20 Tokens. Make sure you never click on any Slack/Troll Box links to MyEtherWallet. Ignore all messages about reset password/Fork update etc. - a lot of scam messages links to fake MyEtherWallet websites just to steal your wallet details. Remember if you want to check balance you don't need login to MEW, you can check in Ethereum Blockchain Explorer: 1. https://etherscan.io/ and 2. https://ethplorer.io/ just paste your wallet address.

253  Economy / Speculation / Re: how to predict bitcoin price increase or decrease? on: November 03, 2017, 04:01:09 PM
We see sometimes bitcoin price increase or decrease. How I can predict whether bitcoin price increase or decrease.Again, who controll this price.I appreciate if you kindly share your experience.

Two years ago I was thinking after big exchange closed down and the price dropped from 1000$ to 300$ there is no way it will back to highest 1K. But now I change my way of thinking. After some bad news from China price is still increases and more people use bitcoin every day, and recently bitcoin was introduced to Wall Steet, there is no doubt it will steadily increase, 25.000 in 3 years is very realistic. There are still so many people that never heard about bitcoin and if this technology gets accepted as a payment in more shops and businesses or Amazon one day it will only increase value.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India may ban Bitcoin! on: November 03, 2017, 12:17:51 PM

If India ban Bitcoin like China recently did it will just create more traffic in foreign exchanges but it will not stop people from trading. China ban was one of best opportunities to buy cheaper BTC and when you look now at the price it didn't affect bitcoin value long-term, it just created an opportunity to buy cheaper. China is using now Japan exchanged, I believe India will do the same - start using other exchanges.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] [VIB] Viberate | Decentralized Music Talent Marketplace on: November 02, 2017, 07:03:52 PM
Hi, What do you think about price for end of 2017? I have doubt about where to invest some money. I am between gnt and vib... what is your opinion about price for long term (2 years).. thanks

So far Viberate was doing great, price is stable and things look good. If I know that my ICO will lose so much in value I will invest more in
VIB and SNM. I don't know about GOLEM but SONM is their direct competitor (more advanced when you google GNT vs SNM comparison).
Keep in mind as long as Bitcoin will rise other crypto may stay neutral or slightly lose/gain.

My advice check SONM - their project is 6 months younger, long term with 444 Millions vs 1 Billion Token supply and 3x cheaper right now.
Consider leave some FIAT in BTC - is on rise, it will be profitable for sure.

If I have choice only between VIB and GNT I will choice VIB… Token supply is 5X less (200 Million) with lower total coin supply price will rise quicker and there is more room to grow and it's cheaper $0.15 VIB  vs $0.22 GNT but the choice it's Yours.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] MONETHA - Decentralised reputation with built-in payments on: November 02, 2017, 02:49:39 PM
Hi everyone, I'm just new here, could you advise me from what exchange should I purchase Monetha coins? Is there a difference between them all?

This is my first month I decided to buy 70% BTC and 30% other crypto. Right now Monetha (MTH) price is falling and if my predictions are truth it will hit $0.02 - $0.03. I will wait for that price point with MTH and in meantime buy on dips other crypto I follow: VIB, SNM, COB, KNC, COSS, SUB, SNC, DMT and CTR.

Keep in mind when Bitcoin is on rise, other crypto price is going down at best stay neutral: VIB, KNC, SNC didn't bleed like Monetha.

I use EtherDelta exchange for buying MTH, low few but a little time to learn is required (how to use it). There is a YouTube videos about it, make sure you bookmark this link: http://etherdelta.com there is fake links all over internet, one letter missing or added and you can get scammed.

List of all exchanges related with Monetha can be found here: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/monetha/#markets
Higher daily Volume = more popular exchange.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i invest to FirstCoin or not? on: November 02, 2017, 10:53:17 AM
If you want stay on safe side try diversity, invest around 30% in Firstcoin and 70% in Bitcoin. Do your research, don't rely only on friends advice always, learn how to check youtube for reviews, register with Telegram/Slack and check their ANN thread on forum. Read their whitepaper and roadmap. Once you invest in two different crypto if your Firstcoin not perform as you expected you can always sell and stay with Bitcoin, so far BTC had great rise recently and any amount you put in Bitcoin will be profitable for sure. Remember even you lose a little money in Firstcoin BTC will secure your investment and it will be still profitable. Price prediction for Bitcoin is by end of the year will reach 10.000$ This is best advice I can give you for good start. Don't invest more that small fraction you can lose on Firstcoin and leave rest  60% - 70% in bitcoins. It may not give you super high profit but you will have more secured investment. Buying only one coin is too risky specially now when BTC is on rise every week.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] MONETHA - Decentralised reputation with built-in payments on: November 01, 2017, 09:32:44 AM
As long as Bitcoin is on rise other crypto will drop price. I have MTH in my portfolio but I stop accumulating some time ago, and I believe that was the right choice. I focus on SONM (more mature proiject) VIB and KyberNetwork for now. Still, it look like the best way was hold bitcoins and wait couple of weeks.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEW DIGITAL CURRENCY - INSIDER INFO - GREAT OPP. on: October 31, 2017, 11:22:56 PM
Investing in any currency when Bitcoin is on rise is not the best way, and even when you look at recent ICO's best option was to wait few weeks until your Token price drops on exchanges and buy cheaper. Each ICO I was watching lose between 5-40% after release on the exchange. I think the market is saturated now with so many new projects coming every day that only a few really good will survive. If you invest now in BTC and wait, you may increase your investment and buy any Token you want later for less. Win-Win situation.
260  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: *SCAM AWARE* Stolen BTC fake Bitcoin Gold Claim on: October 31, 2017, 03:24:08 PM
I am really sorry for you loss. It's a lot of money for sure. I got hacked 2 times in my life, both fault was my weak password. Since then I use now 16 - 49 long. My advise for future, try split and never keep your crypto under one account or wallet. It's so easy to click on link banner and download some piece of software that can steal your password/keys.
I have 5 wallets (online) - wallets that at least once I check their balance on Internet and 5 offline (never open them on online PC)
Try use VeraCrypt, that will encrypt your and keep safe your data. Best option is have 2 VeraCrypt containers:
1. For Private Keys
2. For Wallet address
With VeraCrypt you can easy mount file on your PC that will act just like another partition/harddrive. When you create container - in will be in Windows explorer but if you restart it wil automatically dismount.

I hope Karma will get this guy who stole from you.
