I will donate and I think every one of US should do the same, even small amount 5%-10%, 2% if is too much for your wallet. We should all understand how many hours took to fix, and devs involved, I hope there will be more than just few happy to share some AC for devs.

Maestro
Thank you all ALL involved for bringing back AC.

AsiaCoin Reverse-Scam

The aim of the project is to remove the premined coins. We have developers onboard to do this and work is already underway.

Background: AsiaCoin was launched as a coin with high potential, but the developer had hidden a code inside that hid a significant amount of pre-mine. This was made public earlier, and now the community is trying to revive AsiaCoin, with the support of its members and those who invested in AsiaCoin, to fix the issue, and relaunch the coin with a hard fork. Cryptsy has already risen voice that they are willing to list AC again, if the premine issue is fixed.

You can visit http://cryptosteam.com/ for a list of people who lost their AC, there are a significant amount of money and investment at stake. If you want to be added to the list, send a PM to CryptoSteam.

As the developers are working on the issue, we welcome new developers who are interested (we need you), but also we need help with other aspects of the revival, such as:

New Website (design and hosting): Many thanks volunteers!
New Logo: We have one! [link], new ideas/logos also welcome
Social Media Activity: I created a new Twitter account for now but we need a couple of people who can be active besides myself

Official Twitter: Asia Coin Community
Follow, Retweet, spread the word that AC is not dead.

Official Facebook: Asia Coin
Like and Share! Let's spread the word!

Official Sub-Reddit

In case you want to have a look, the source code is available here:

I'm fully committed to this, and I will update the OP accordingly for the foreseeable future. Members of the community are also very generous, so if you help us with reviving this project, I am very confident that you will have all of our supports in every way.

Exchanges:

Bter.com
Cryptsy
(both have confirmed that once we resolve the issue, AC will be relisted)

https://hiro.suprnova.cc - I use this pool since beginning, I can say one word: BEST.

I have no problems with payouts, 99.99% online if not 100% If you looking for trusted pool give them a try, its really worth it, after many times I had problems with other coins/pools this one is simply BEST for Hirocoin.

510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AC]AsiaCoin - Relaunch on: May 04, 2014, 11:18:12 PM
Dear Asiacoin community,

We, the Pandacoin (PND) devs feel like giving back to the community with the recent Asiacoin blow up, as part of our coin’s origins and philosophy is to stand against cryptocurrency manipulation and scams. We would like to offer some sort of compensation to current Asiacoin bagholders that have lost money with the recent turmoil in the coin.

Compensation offer:

If you can provide proof of the amount of Asiacoin that you are currently bagholding, we will send you the amount of Pandacoins (PND) to a 1:1 ratio for the amount of Asiacoin that you hold. For anyone with less than 50,000 Asiacoins, the minimum of Pandacoins (PND) received from us is still going to be 50,000!

So far we have compensated over 50 Asiacoin bagholders! Smiley

Disclaimer: Maximum 150,000 Pandacoin (PND) per individual, wallet address, and bitcointalk account. Only bitcointalk accounts over 7 days old will be considered

Ok sounds good! How do I get some free Pandacoins? -

Step 1: Getting your Pandacoin (PND) wallet - Download our wallet by going to either https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=568529 or http://thepandacoin.net and generating a Pandacoin (PND) deposit address

Step 2: Providing Proof

In your AsiaCoin wallet, go to File > Sign Message. Then click on the address book button next to the address input field and select your address. Then, enter your Bitcointalk forum username in the text box and click the sign message button. Finally, click the copy signature button next to the signature field and paste it in the message for Step 3.

Step 3: Contacting us with the information to receive our compensation offer - Go to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=568529 and reply with a post containing the proof of your signature embedded with the address from Step 2, along with your Pandacoin (PND) wallet address to receive our compensation offer for Asiacoin bagholders!

Your post should look something like this with the following example -

Asiacoin address: ALR6861XReyWD25RrJjzgY1GLe75MLH4DR

Balance: 1000.1234

Proof: IGkFFI3T29GrP55FqnmkOarblqUsmmfG7XxwwaYYQiwR8wV1hc2QpG7jEUshh1N4pk2uckdid3xDM4d 3AkA/WBY=

Pandacoin (PND) wallet address: PHFByB65qhEkG9SK8UjY94t7Phoqq8vnSr

Kind regards,

Pandacoin (PND) development team.

If your coins are trapped in an exchange, so you can't do step 2. You can provide a screenshot in your post over at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=568529 in place of step 2 that was listed! I had many people telling me that their exchanges are trapping their coins, so there we go Smiley

stfu with your panda coin offer. no one cares. everyone that was affected by the scam in AC knows of this stupid fuckin offer. Now stop. no one wants your shitcoin. gtfo & go act like flies on shit in another forum. fuck. I could see 1 post being OK, but the same post 10 times is annoying. jesus

I'm sorry but 60+ claimers from the Asiacoin community tell me a different story. I'm offering you free coins for nothing in order to try fixing things up.

60+ is a fraction of users that read this. You have no right to post every single page about it I am sure we all know that now, so stop posting your offer PND  we already know!!! Is start getting annoying.

if you want to bitch on this thread about your asiacoin being "lost" please just send them to me. ill gladly exchange them for AC2 since alot of you tards cannot seem to read...or maybe you just cant comprehend wtf is going on. So please let me know, ill gladly hoard all of your AC, or gtfo & dont bitch

Code forensic analysis is conclusive... this was a 100% original dev orchestrated scam.

There IS NO AC2.. it will either not happen, or if it does get released it will be a scam/virus of some kind.

The proof is in the code and on the blockchain.  Check it for yourself.

Mate first of all, I don't bitch. No need to do it, since dev is a scammer and this scam was discovered. I was on holiday when this happened, no way to jump from speeding train - to late. I use 10% Fiat, 90% BTC selling BC for this crap, and its sad but not end of the world. We all want to return out investment, at some point. no matter is 0.1BTC or 1BTC or 10 or more like some of us. Even AC2 will be there for us, we will sell for btc all of AC/AC2 and move on. This coins is epic failure hidden inside code. It's good lesson too. Don't be naive, I should stay with mining like always but like many others I had faith for this one, for sure better than empty POS Whitecoin, it turns out is even much worse.

516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AC]AsiaCoin - Version1.0.0.1 Released - Please Upgrade your wallet on: May 02, 2014, 11:40:46 AM
Hi, would someone help me get my coins? This is probably user error and nothing to worry anyone about.

On April 30, I deleted wallet v1.0.0.0 folder from Windows running on my Mac and then installed v1.0.0.1 onto same Windows on same Mac. Even on new wallet it showed my transaction histories from the original wallet. When I downloaded the new wallet (which was from the Mega link in OP), it asked me if I agree to let it run some additional functions and I said yes.

Then, I withdrew 41614.74493101 AC from Poloniex onto my address, AYBgVfc2TTKHWxxj9anKGUdXNkUo7kGgYw. I have unlocked my wallet and the coins do not show as arrived. How do I get my coins?

Next time send small amount to check if is all good to go.
5AC will b fine

Just don't get too greedy. Maybe it could happen but not in just hours or days. Could take some months to reach there, if we are all lucky in 3-6 weeks and the ship will turn into a rocket.

The most important thing is that when the POS begins people hold, some could get scared because they think that reaching block 10000 will INSTANTLY go to 10x times price. This won't happen immediately, it will go increasing for sure but people must hold.

If investors start getting scared and do panic sells just after the POS begins because they don't see their investment tripled in just 48 hours then this all could go wrong. Just hold your coins, it will be worth it. I saw some people even thinking of holding for a year.

Blackcoin was launched very nicely, quiet and up to 167 page there was no even 1 negative comment, never seen attitude like this on forum before with diffrent coin. I wish all debs success but is crypto is getting harder to launch succesfull good coin. When ASICs come, we will see some few new coins, devs will be forced to find new features in order to gain miners and one of them may be as successful as BC.

as I said in another thread :

yeah all coins have had very bad launches (99%), when a coin get a good launch (beecoin etc) they die anyway so it's no about the launch itself it's what you do afterwards that matter, ignore trolls etc etc.. and have a active dev.
