241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RUMOUR: Facebook will announce they hold #Bitcoin on: April 28, 2021, 05:48:22 AM
My guess is that he himself is predicting that because that's a strong possibility and if he is right, his account would get ton of more street cred because he broke the news (not that he heeds it), and if he is wrong... Well, no one cares because it was a "rumor" anyway. I have to try that approach too.
242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any new casinos with token "mining" i should check out? on: April 28, 2021, 05:40:18 AM
how about dice.one, it is an eos-based gambling site? but afaik, you need to buy their dice on their platform, and is pretty cheap right now. but you can put your dice tokens to stake and you can also get daily dividends. and then the dividends that you got, you can add again for staking. and if you want to get out, just swap your dice tokens to btc, eos or any eos-based tokens.
but they are not really new. anyway, i know you will dyor before sending any penny to them.

dice.one is from 2018 and i was looking for fresh sites. Also i was looking for mining them, not buying.

Have you heard about chips.gg? You can mine chips token by playing, 1 token can be earned by wagering $51 now. Once you have it then you can lock it to get a share of the vault balance. It has 100,000,000 total supply and at the moment there are 15 million+ total token minted so far. This site is less than a year old IIRC.

I like the site, it seems responsive too. And less then a year old is best offer so far so i'll look into it. Their twitter account is from 2017, but maybe they were preparing it that time.
243  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|⚡️$3.5mln Staking pool|⚡️New coins every week on: April 28, 2021, 05:30:00 AM
I think the real concern about token listing is the price of BFG token tanking below the mining price that was set by Betfury. Can you imagine a miner betting 2000 sats to get 1 BFG when he can easily buy it on the market at half that price or less? Of course there's the chance that he can also win his bet but why bother when your main goal is to increase the number of tokens for the daily dividends?

And why would people buy above the current mining price if they could get more with mining? Of course people will sell cheaper, people have mined a long time now and when some of them started, mining price was lower, some people are mining with their dividends, bitcoin was cheaper when this started. Everything was cheaper and some got their for free with bounties. And the mining cost in the site isn't the real cost when you count the winnings.

The thing I worry about when BFG is listed on one of the exchanges is the manipulation of whales...
Big investors will definitely buy a lot BFG for them to transfer to their accounts and try to get big dividends from it. I think if BFG is not listed on the exchange then it will be better and dividend distribution can keep run normally as it is today.

Are you saying that whales would manipulate the price up or down by buying? There would still be same amount of circulating tokens so how would that affect your dividends negatively? Except for people who left their tokens on the betfury would probably get more dividends because tokens on the exchange wouldn't be staking.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How many scammers have you funded by putting your money in? on: April 27, 2021, 03:25:36 PM
I don't think there's no shame admitting that we make mistakes, that's where you learn from. Sometimes even with DYOR, legit looking projects turn out to be scams. And sometimes we just want to risk it.

During last bullrun ico frency 2017-2018 many people were saying that ICO scams are now over and next time people will be smarter. However now there are more scams then ever, especially rug pulls in uniswap and pancakeswap. We just don't call them ICOs anymore.

My failures of judgement contain 2 icos from many years ago which were obvious scams in hindsight : Swiss Alps Mining, Envion and one latest where Dev disappeared after i aped in to some BSC shittoken for the hopes of 2x-10 flip (i can't even remember the name of it).

Luckily i haven't invested anything i couldn't lose (to scams anyway), and i have even made money with investing to something that turned out to be scam later on. But still they are obviously annoying.

So i would like to hear your stories on how did you get scammed. Was it because you aped in without research or something else?
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any new casinos with token "mining" i should check out? on: April 27, 2021, 12:45:12 PM
You should be more careful with recently opened casinos I think, many of them are just launched to take funds of the gamblers and then to scam them with rigged gambling games and/or with exit scams. If you are a newbie I would recommend you to only trust reputed and old crypto casinos. Even if they don't always offer dividend tokens they generally offer bonuses and airdrops usually more profitable than shady tokens not listed anywhere.

Of course i should, and everyone knows that. And i am far from newbie even though my account is rather new. But this would be high risk / high reward scenario because mining in those sites at the beginning turned out to be very profitable indeed.

I am not looking for investment, because investments are usually safer with low profit. Placing your trust in a new gambling site however is a literal gamble (pun intented). And that's what i am looking for.
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any new casinos with token "mining" i should check out? on: April 26, 2021, 09:31:46 AM
Is it like investing in their token and just earn some kind of staking just for leaving your capital on the site?

Just searched this on Google and saw this article. https://ambcrypto.com/online-casino-cryptocurrencies-you-can-invest-in/

Not sure if this is what you want but here you go. I don't know any of the sites there so be careful.

I'll take a look at them, but the article is already over year old and i am looking for really brand new sites where the mining is still easy. I know those are way more riskier but i'll tackle that hurdle after i find a good enough site. And high risk/reward ratio is the thing that makes it interesting anyway  Cool.

@OP
Do you know the investment options of established casinos like Bustabit and Bustadice? You can invest in the bankroll there and can earn profits. Both casinos have been on the market for a very long time and are therefore much more trustworthy than recently founded casinos that lure new customers with very high reward promises!

Thanks, i am familiar with bustabit and casinos i can invest to. But that's not really the investment model i am interested in.
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Are there any new casinos with token "mining" i should check out? on: April 26, 2021, 05:46:21 AM
What i mean by mining is casinos or betting sites with tokens you can get by playing, and those tokens give you divindends from the casino profits.

I am already aware of Betfury, Earnbet and Bethash, but when the casino is brand new, the "mining" is usually more profitable so i am asking if anyone can point me to any recently opened sites.

Edit: Also, include in the post how old the site is.
248  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: April 26, 2021, 04:47:57 AM
Or course it's not meant for making you rich, but as it has been highly undervalued, it obviously makes early investors wealthy.

That's why it's volatile too, You can't just get stable value for insanely valuable asset in 10 years when the valuation has started from next to zero. That's not how any market works.

People who have made enough will cash out in the mean time because of uncertainty fear and doubt which are highly effective on new assets. Next bear cycle will be probably because of carbon taxing for bitcoin. Let's just hope it won't end up being taxation for all cryptos because ton of them are not using POW.
249  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go below $40,000 on: April 26, 2021, 04:29:49 AM
Call me crazy but i see 40k as a bottom even in next long bear cycle when we come crashing down from where ever we end up being, might be peaking $360k for all i know; That's where i would cash out my btc anyway.
250  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 25, 2021, 09:53:52 PM
And next move could be BTC ATH just to mess with everyone, killing longs and shorts with this one quick move. That's what i am expecting right after bloody Monday anyway. Even though that move probably would destroy some altcoins too, i still am hoping i am right.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Thoughts on VELOREX? [BSC] on: April 25, 2021, 07:26:02 PM
There are so many red flags in this.

Let's start by the fact that there's zero reason for this "coin" to exist. It doesn't solve any real problem.
There's no github or talk about what kind of L1 solution it would be swapped to or why it would need own blockchain in the first place.
ATM for some illiquid token is just pointless, there are several different atms for different highly liquid coins already.

Seems like its just an issue locally, because the Crypto ATM's here dont support anything other than BTC & ETH. Also before we started the project we had the idea to team up with local Crypto ATM's but they require a blockchain, because it would be a "mess" to make a crypto ATM with for example a BEP-20 token.

Ok, i'll play along. Why do you need anything else then BTC or ETH? Fees perhaps? ETH scaling will be finished before you'll get your one or 2 ATMs for the coin that has no liquidity or users. Also you haven't also answered anything about the blockchain you'll be building. Quit scamming people with your pointless presales.

253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for next 100x coins on: April 25, 2021, 01:12:38 PM
I currently hold quite a few coins which I think will 100x.
Some of these include:

HBAR
XRP
ADA
DIVI

Let me know any other suggestions Smiley Ty

Why would top marketcap coins like xrp and ada suddenly 100x? You do realize that they are expensive already and single coin value is irrelevant? If you are looking for 100x look for low marketcap coins and new listings with good fundamentals, they have way bigger change for quick rise then top mc coins.

I check the roadmap every month and don't see any plans listed on the market there by the end of this year they only focus on site development
Maybe this is the reason players are auctioning off their tokens I know it's not a good idea but it happened.
If users can sell / buy BFG on their site, of course it will be more attractive

In that case, i wish that those people never find the telegram channel and that roadmap will never get updated on that. Because every token burned, drives the value up before listing and over half of mined tokens have been burned.

I am guessing that doesn't mean old BFG trx tokens and they have adjusted that to the current BFG supply as a single token... Because those numbers wouldn't make any sense otherwise.

256  Economy / Speculation / Re: 🛑 Can bitcoin prices bounce back? Opinion Poll With Results 🛑 on: April 23, 2021, 01:47:07 PM
Bitcoin seems to be trending going down lately. Do you have an argument for its comeback, leave a comment.

Price seems to follow 4 year cycles. We should be fine but i have to admit that more money betting on it more scarier these dips are. Especially if you are all in it can be furstrating and scary. Ihmo it doesn't hurt to have some stable coins lying around for any opportunities like this.
257  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 23, 2021, 01:33:19 PM

Lol what an earth?! How can someone make 2 billion dollars from an exchange that couldn't be more obvious scam? (offering to sell dogecoins for 1/4 price).
There's no limit how stupid people can be when they are greedy.
258  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|⚡️$3.5mln Staking pool|⚡️New coins every week on: April 23, 2021, 05:36:59 AM
If you bid, do you lose the BFG tokens or they get returned if you didn't win?

I don't understand what you are asking?
Are you asking if i get my BFG back if i gamble with BFG and lose them?
Answer is obviously no. They get burned and you'll get only what's worth cashback back.

If you are talking about auction. Answer is also no. They get burned in that too.
259  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 23, 2021, 05:33:21 AM
And to think that this whole crypto marketcap is going to rise way more before eventually crashing again. That crushing last drop before bear cycle is probably going to hurt a lot.

Even this crash was messing my mind just because i was heavily in some alts and i don't really like to make new plans or delaying them. I guess i eat ramens for a while now...
260  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|⚡️$3.5mln Staking pool|⚡️New coins every week on: April 22, 2021, 06:28:35 PM
There's less than 15 minutes left before the Altcoin Spring III event ends. How did you do in the spins? It was hard to hit the top prize of 1,000 CAKE. I've only won some UMA, CAKE, COMP, UNI, and BFG tokens.

I have zero spins on that as i haven't participated to this altcoin spring at all. I am now only playing slots with my dividends i get from holding bfg and see no benefits depositing anything more. That would just make me greedy. Also i am not betting with any BFG either, those are way too valuable to lose.
