Are we no longer allowed to post on this thread?

Also, the miner feels sturdy. It would be a product that if delivered on time might have been nice to have.
243  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AMT users thread. on: August 20, 2014, 01:10:36 PM
I assumed it was to keep it weighed, however I'd appreciate it more if it wasn't rusted metal. There were three pieces like that one and one that was just flat with very sharp points. They have to know that regardless of their use for it that the rusty metal was a dangerous proposition. Hell people have won millions from McDonalds for burning themselves with cup of coffee that reads, "caution hot". There was no warning of a tetanus trap in my box.
244  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AMT users thread. on: August 20, 2014, 01:02:48 PM
I will say this. The build quality on the box is immaculate, some of the finest cardboard I've ever seen. I will say this it held up well in transit. This was far better packed the the kit/rig they were sending out during the IMET run.

There are at least two screws rolling around inside of the case though, so I have to fish them out. Then take apart this PC for the power supply I had for the rig. It's just a pain in the ass when it should never have been sent without one.
245  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: August 20, 2014, 12:29:05 PM
simple question, where is my power supply?

Your miner came without a power supply? We will check that up and reach you back as soon as possible.

Super Neat-o! Thanks a lot Mister or Mam.

Dear AMT moderator, may I please get your name and the name of your position within the company?

Holy hell someone learned how to pack. I'm pretty sure Josh isn't a chinese name though.

Why, hello giant hole where the PSU is supposed to be.

how do you print screen

Josh Zipkin tries to use brightly colored cabling in attempts to trick me into not noticing missing power supply, doesn't realize I'm colorblind... ok I'm not really.

Liberal application of glue keeps fans safe from the hurricane force winds produced by said fans.

My assumption is this was a design choice since each board is the same. Perhaps it relieves some tension on the pin connector or cable, or it could just be designed to create the fires we will all slowly burn to death in.

AMT claims to be on the level, but forgot how to use one. Glue drizzled liberally behind askew placard, presumptively to stop fan's +10 wind damage attack.

AMT accessory kit: rackmount ears, network cable (not picture), limited edition rusted chinese metal. Perhaps I'll build a droid with it and then follow Josh to the dark side.

We really should see if he has a degree from there. If not and he claimed it in use of getting sales that would be fraudulent.
251  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: August 20, 2014, 05:45:37 AM
Also I must have been a naughty boy because I got one with PSU. It did come with some unknow rusty metal from china though. I almost cut my self unboxing it. I think he figured tetanus was equal to a psu.

Is ist standard for packages to ship huge rusty pieces of metal in them? My guess was it was to add weight to simulate the inclusion of a PSU should anyone give it the ole pick up test and find it a little lacking in heft.

I'll be posting my pics of the un boxing (and rusty metal) here shortly and I'm going to put together a video review worthy of this unit.

Refund request for Order numbers 676 and 716 totaling $17,577.00‏

Dear AMT,

I have tried to remain patient through this ordeal but that has reached the end as far as hoping for any mining equipment.

You claim to have shipped all miners over a month ago but I have still not received anything and there is no sign of anything on its way.

I have not received a tracking # so I have no way of checking the status to see if it was delivered somewhere else or just not sent at all.

I don't know what list I have ended up on but please move me to the refund list. Order numbers 676 and 716 totaling $17,577.00

Should the miners arrive sometime in the future, I will notify you and you may deduct the then current value of the equipment from the total.

If this is not acceptable please instruct me as to what I should do with the miners if they arrive.

Thank you,

Ron,

Your miners are due to arrive today actually. Please do not refuse them, accept them and we will forward them back to the office or directly to another client which may have been missed. Refusal means they go back to hong kong and that's just a bitch and half.

We have added you to refund list. Thanks.

So then are you saying we must accept the package and immediately forward it to you for a refund at some future point ? I'm not asking rhetorical questions or trying to be a dick here. I'm just asking honestly if this is the outlined process.

Because if it is, it doesn't come across as sound. You said you don't have enough money to refund everyone currently so is it not better to let us use the hardware currently and refund current value of the equipment. It's less money you would have to shell out.

I'm coming up about 347 dollars short, but if I can get that by the 22nd ( or if you extend that for current customers indefinitely as a one time use.) Then I'd give it a go. The machine looks good.

And you say you'll refund if not delivered in certain time frame. If any one wants to put up some coin to help me make this purchase even as an experiment to see if we can trust them going forward I'll make the purchase. You'd be refunded your coin fist before I take any profit, and we can work out a reward for your troubles. I'm willing to take help to make this deal up to the 50% point of cost so there is equal ownership.

As of yet no one is willing to take a $347, risk/bet, that you are willing or able to ship the miner.

Anyone interested is free to PM me.

We're not scammers. Just guys that had a shit storm of crap thrown at us, but we'll continue. We make miners, and now our miners will work with A1 A2  BE200 and next week BA's Minion.  Pics of 1U casing and models coming tomorrow or the next day, we're trying get a bit more pro about it but one of the things this forum always screamed for was openness and updates.

I have to at least give you guys some credit of not just abandoning ship and changing your name to something else.

Still waiting for you to deliver to me miners to satisfy the MPP.

Meanwhile, I still have the option of taking you to small claims court.  I'm one of the lucky few customers who sent you only what would be allowed in small claims court.  Can't say the same about your other customers.

I don't want to do small claims the trip to PA would cost a fair amount. Obviously the MPP as written with hardware is just not something attainable. That's why in any claim I file it would be for a full refund plus one dollar (plus court costs if I won, and potentially cost of flight and stay in PA). A full refund plus one dollar satisfies the terms of the MPP in that you have made a profit. It's the cheapest way to get through it. I might even request less, and consider the receipt of the miner at it's market value at time of arrival which appears to be $1350 according to AMT.
I'm not looking to take the company for millions. I just want what I was promised. Profitability.

When the class action is over or settled we'll distribute settlement funds or discuss refunds. It is still illegal for us to give refunds as long as that class action is underway, we would be going against the class and our US business operations would be halted. We've said that several times, and you already know that very well. But lets bring back the focus to all the things we've already discussed.

MPP, Class action, Ownership of AMT, Suit with IMET.. anything but the miners we're talking about. Come on, keep it coming.

Yes these things will continue to be discussed, because they are important to your customer. We can recognize your progress, but that doesn't mean it erases the past. I know you wish you could wipe the slate clean. I'm sure we all feel the same, but that's not how people work.

The racism and prejudice is quite clear to everyone, except him apparently.

Shipping is definitely the first step, but it can't be the last. Obviously some sort of compensation will be necessary to help quiet your original orderers, hell you've not even extended a courtesy as small as 20% of your next purchase, or 15%, or even 10%. Ten percent even leaves you a small profit on your machines. It's not mpp, which promised an upgraded miner, but it's an olive branch and a step in the right direction until you make the money (IMET case win or settlement) to do something more.

I've got to say Phin's "fake" conversations sure have spurred you on to more openness so if nothing else that is a win. Hard to see me buying another unit from you without receiving my current one and no compensation in sight. I know you want to do good, and it looks like china and competent manufacturing has done well for you.

If you get that settlement, or win against IMET I might consider buying from you if you honor the refund I requested in march because those machines look quite nice. If you are just slapping AMT badges on other's products that's cool as long as they are priced right and work (and delivered like you say). If these are original designs exclusive to you guys well then good job.
