241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling strategies (beliefs) on: June 10, 2019, 09:10:42 AM
My beliefs about strategy and luck is true it can happened and this two can help you to win but not all the time so, that is why you need to limit when you feel that you always lose the game you can think if what is better to stop it or just continue playing.

What I believe that LUCK is something that cannot always be instrumental in helping you win. Another thing that helps you make the money is experience which is to say that your moves are guided by the prior experience. Strategies do matter and when you have one, it would be easy for you to follow a proper channel which often lead you to a win.
242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The key reason for gambling on: June 10, 2019, 07:16:01 AM
Its always great to win money from gambling but gambling is for me about having fun, where you try to predict the outcome of events. In some of the games, it is all about luck but if you bet on sports then it also often knowledge about how a game can turn out.
Gamble because you need money is probably one of the worst reason to gamble.

Money is really easy to earn in gambling. I mean with less effort you can win huge amount of money that can change your future. If you're lucky and wise enough how to spend it you can retire on your job and use that money to have your own business. But that is not the case often in gambling, only few people are lucky and most are losing too much money that they are addicted to it.
According to human psychology, there is always something expected in return for doing something. If you gamble and spend time on a website online, you would of course expect to win at gambling. And win is what you play for because win gives you the money so at the bottom of everything, there is the motivation for money and this is why I am here.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I LOST OVER 10 BTC IN GAMBLING IN 2018 on: June 10, 2019, 06:28:03 AM
If you have got a lot of free money then you can gamble for fun and lose money. There is no point in losing so much money, i believe you have to reconsider you strategy.

Yes, really very bad to know that he already lost nearly 10 BTC means a very huge amount of money if we compare with the current value. I have no dare to lose that much amount of money, that's why many people are suggesting is a way risky one, even though we follow a strategy it will not work for us.
When it comes to gambling, you could lose huge amount of money and Bitcoin within minutes this is why I do not gamble using Bitcoins because it is not very possible and easy to beat the probability. In addition, if you hold Bitcoin and not gamble it, the output could be manifold which means that if you do the cost and benefit analysis, there could be great profit.
244  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: June 09, 2019, 11:16:45 AM
Day trading is very profitable but it is very risky to do so and very stressful because you are over watching the market price 24 hours a day just to monitor the price of the coins that you had. I think OP you are luck of knowledge to handle the day trading you must have deep research first before you go in the battle of trading. Trading is not an easy especially if you don't have experienced it might be a loss you fund.
True, the best in day trading is you can see the market price and you have a timing if when to sell. But if you want to have a good profit just have a best strategy when it comes in day trading, and its an easiest way to earn easily profit that it dont need to wait for a long time.
Indeed its very profitable but very stressful when you miss the opportunity to sell because you holds too long, stressful because the price predictions are different from your expectations, prices don't go up after you buy. daytrading have big risk you need a lot of time allocation to analyze the market, monitor in all day, you have to be ready  in mind and yourself in trade
I do not think it is not profitable. You can make money by day trading your coins and that pays off for many people. If you day trade Bitcoin, you might make good money and if you trade Eth, you might still make some good money but I fear to say so about TRON or other altcoin because these rest of the coins are a bit too down.
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your country knows about cock fighting betting? on: June 09, 2019, 10:01:17 AM

I'm sure that cockfighting takes place in more countries than we are aware of, but most of the time it is hidden from the general public's view.

To be specific that's not happening in my own country as i have never heard anybody mentioned it to me. One would say that, this type or kind of fight could be such that will be restricted to some age or that which is done secret and not public. In my country, if such thing is fond, there will be a penalty for the organizer of such competition as our culture is against such practice..

it could be because your folks use different pets say dogs or horses. i'm from Philippines and we all have these type of entertainments, it could be brutal to you but these are fun to watch just as the matadors in Spain. WE do have cock fighting in the arena, same goes with spiders and fighting bulls in the northern provinces.
In some countries there are illegal pitbull fights which were also adopted here.
I think this is a very redundant post here and need to be removed on urgent basis. We should be dealing with crypto gambling and not with cock fighting. Makes no sense on a site made by Satoshi Nakamoto aimed at crypto discussion. This was something that used to be seen in far flung villages on the country and now unknown to the kids. Low or no economic value and benefits.
246  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading on: June 09, 2019, 09:27:00 AM
Hey, any news? For how long already are you earning your living by trading?

Maybe OP earned more than what he or she earned before the resigned from the formal job, but the truth must be said that, the current situation with the price of cryptocurrency now, it will take a good trader to make a reasonable profit at this time. Categorically, i wouldn't encourage OP to focus or channel all his energy on this, as making a living will be more harder than he/she thought.
Yes that could have been the case because you only quit the job when you have enough resources available and can take care of your expenditure in case there is a bearish market in trading coins. Normally it is considered a kind of risk and when you take risk, you might suffer in the process as well but in the end, it pays off so if you can handle things is a good way, go for it.
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction mainly due to loneliness and dissatisfaction? on: June 09, 2019, 08:15:07 AM
Yesterday I watched a video about addiction on youtube: https://youtu.be/ao8L-0nSYzg. It was a real surprise to me that according to recent research people are addicted to drugs mainly because they can't bond well with people and are not able to live a satisfying life. The research shows that when an addicted person appears in a loving and caring environment, the addiction kind of disappears (even heroin addiction). I wonder what are your thoughts on this matter and whether you think you could say the same about gambling addiction.

You know what, I believe it is one of the factor. Because whenever I visit some casinos, I often see old people playing slot machines. I am thinking to myself if they are really consistent to play that thing until they win or perhaps they just really killing their time on it. I guess their motive has that both but the factor of loneliness is more likely.
Not really, if you have free time and have the ability to make something happen in gambling, you should start gambling. It is not that you are depressed and are having a bad time and would enter into the gambling world for killing time. I think that you have to be very wise and calm minded to win at gambling. It is not just gambling for the sake of gambling but also for the sake of winning.
248  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anticipating a spike on: June 09, 2019, 08:01:21 AM
Bitcoin is currently at about $8,500. I just placed sell orders at: $11,000, $13,000, and $16,000.

For some reason, I am waiting for a super-long upper shadow. Any thoughts? Any probability?
I believe your first sell order will be achieved this month or next which you can still add it to your next sell other when the correction comes.

Those sell position you placed is really not a bad idea, it shows you are not going to be a greedy person, but hope you know that the last sell order you placed is just like half of what I expect bitcoin value to be in the coming bull run, and placing sell order at that price will keep you out of the market completely except you want to join group of people that will FOMO buy and may end up making the last mistake some of us all made in the last bitcoin bull run.
So if I were you, I will cancel that last sell order and just keep it till we see bitcoin at its ATH.

In cryptocurrency anything is possible, you can never go wrong even if you set your trade for $20,000 because overnight the price can spike.
No one is really sure if the ATH of this time will pass the last ATH yest and setting his trade at that $16k is not a bad one. It is better to be on a safe side and win than risking and eventually losing.  I believe bitcoin has the potential to rise far above the last all-time high, but as you know, we all speculate without really knowing if it is certain or not.

We don’t know what value op bought and how much he has invested in bitcoin, so if he is comfortable at that value, then it will be fine. The only thing I feel he can just do is set 80% of his trade at the $16k and set the remaining 20% at the $20k as suggested by you which will not still kill him if it turns against him later.
Well there is no doubt you might get the value of Bitcoin as high as the ones you have placed the orders at. However with the passage of time, the value of Bitcoin could grow as well and if you hold, you might be able to make even more than what you expect in trading. Speculation is a great way to make more than what you expect from the market to give you.
249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you think so please stop! on: June 09, 2019, 07:40:16 AM
I LOL, I care mate, I have been engaged in this type of strategy for a while now since I started studying the movement of BTC, and I think it is lot more profitable when you sell at high and buy back at dip. You can do the calculation yourself.
It was actually a sarcasm to point out the stubborn nature of some traders who never sell at any point but keep on holding through bull runs.

Quote
I will build it higher than that before the next bull run, but I don’t advise everyone to do that because it is lot riskier.
Obviously few people have actually been able to go through that cruise and end up with a profit but it is one of the best. I wont say its risky, but a logical one. Risk is there in any trading. But what you can also do is when prices seem to move in the same direction, try to make multiple buy/sells. Track one order to another opposite side order for the future. That way you would not be losing out on a certain market movement. But it can become frustrating to keep track of all the trades.

Those few people were the guys who had been able to own huge number of coins when the market price was the lowest. That was a kind of test market when no one or very low amount of people had belief in Bitcoin and knew that it is something that will pay off in future. Even right now, you can have some good amount of coins when the market is bearish again.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can BNB beat Ethereum? on: June 08, 2019, 09:00:16 PM
BNB is really a good coin to invest, but it's too early to talk about beating Ethereum we can only talk about this if they are behind Ethereum it will take some time before they reach to that level, who knows after a year the possibility is endless.
The only altcoin in the market right now that has been growing with crazy pace is BNB. You can really make big money with BNB if you invest right now because the market price right now is pretty great and you can make things happen if you are able to own big number of BNB and HODL it for long. This Binance coins has great potential.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin lover on: June 08, 2019, 08:26:50 PM
I think ETH and Stellar are suitable as alternative coins besides Bitcoin.
My prediction is eth d at the end of the year touching the number $ 400
I would go with ETH and BNB. They are the only great coins and the cost of investment is also a bit low so you can make money in these Altcoins if you invest right now. The market is also bullish and there is going to be a rise in the prices soon. So I think that these two coins are the coins of the future and make sure you claim something great out of it.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Switzerland - new crypto paradise in Europe? on: June 08, 2019, 07:26:42 PM
Looks like Switzerland is going to overtake Malta as the cryptocurrency bastion in Europe. Thanks to clear, simple, transparent and fair regulations, the number of exchanges which are operating there is still growing (more info here). You think this country has a chance to strongly influence the market with that approach?
Of course this country is going to be great when it comes to crypto. This shows that crypto has been doing great in the market lately with so much to offer and many countries around the world are trying to adopt this technology to make sure that the gains also come in their part. Some country around the world like Ecuador and few others are still reluctant to accepting this technology but they will do so in future.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better ICO, STO Or IEO ? on: June 08, 2019, 07:05:13 PM
To date, the most successful attraction of funds is of course the exchange placement of IEO coins,  but do not forget about the ICO is also a very successful tool for raising funds!
Well you should get into what you like among the three. I think IEO has been doing very nice in the crypto market lately and I am a fan of this FRM but STO is also having great potential and has been a way of tokenizing the real world assets using blockchain so yeah, IEO and STO are the leaders against ICO. There is another things called CTO.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Benefits in cryptocurrency trading. on: June 08, 2019, 06:40:31 PM
When the market is growing, what is there not to earn? The main thing is to choose the right entry point to the market.
That is right and the right moment to choose the right coin is always the bear market that can give you some cheap coins and you could enjoy the great profits in future when there is a huge surge in the market value of the coins you would own. This is magical indeed when you have a low cost of investment. You make great money.
255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchanges for newbies. Does it exist? on: June 07, 2019, 09:15:04 PM
I don't think that their is exchange for newbies because you are expected to know how to  trade or someone will do the trading for you. However, when it comes to trade their is no newbies but you can be newbies on bitcointalk rank. Some that just started investing in crypto should seek more knowledge about all it takes.
Every newbie can make an account on the already existing exchanges and there is no need for a separate account which would be recognized by the presence of newbies in crypto market. I think there is no need for a separate exchange as well because the purpose of an exchange is to provide facilities to the crypto users and that is already available on the current operating exchanges.
256  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whats better holding many coins or fewer coins? on: June 07, 2019, 08:58:07 PM
it would be better if you hold a little type of coin (a trusted coin or is the 100 best listed coinmarketcap) in large quantities, so you can easily control the price of coins that you hold.
It is a subjective thing I think if there is profits in HODLING coins, you should HODL as many coins as possible. The more assets you have, the more chances of making money in those assets provided the assets are profitable and have good value gaining ability. It could be crypto assets as well as the real market assets. What matters is the money you make.
257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I need suggestion on: June 07, 2019, 08:34:25 PM
Judging from the many good news spread in the media regarding performance and cooperation with several companies and famous figures, I think Tron and Ripple are the best choices at the moment
I think they will be good in future. Right now, I cannot say that there is great potential in TRON and Ripple. Ripple is great but Tron has been in hot water lately. There are some great coins in the market as well and if you have plans to invest in any of them and make some good money, better go for the best coins and not Tron or ripple.
258  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you secretive about trading currency? on: June 07, 2019, 08:06:58 PM
I have been trading cryptocurrencies for the past 1 year.
I am not closed to trading currencies including cryptocurrency trading.
I think there is nothing really about disclosing your coins. You can tell people precisely about your coins and they can ask for your guidance in buying coins as well. It will in fact enable you to create an impact on the lives by guiding and enabling people to make money by investing in crypto. So yeah, you should really do that.

260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I stopped trading. 3 reasons why. on: June 03, 2019, 08:43:02 PM
I explain the cause you mentioned, on the other hand I yet did not leave-taking cryptocurrency and preferred to place continued designation representing instantly, with ambition and optimism the marketplace desire regain
It is a bad choice even if you are not earning few thousand dollars then you should renew your skills and knowledge to understand trading technicalities, bull and bear possibilities and the right time to act accordingly. You can see all the other traders and investors who are having a good time in crypto industry so can have the same dealing only if you are motivated and keep in mind consistency is the key to success.
