241  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Los Angeles Man Claims KFC Served Him Fried Rat on: October 09, 2015, 02:03:37 AM
So is there any proof that it is actually rat or is it just fried chicken?
242  Other / Politics & Society / Re: No more new cars or furniture, says king as oil slump forces cuts on Saudi Arabi on: October 09, 2015, 02:00:42 AM
Well fun time is over for the saudi's. If they were smart they would have invested that oil money into other profitable ventures.

You can back up your wallet in multiple ways, just remember to encrypt everything.

I am sure you guys can come up with some creative, interesting, fun ideas to do with this information.
Relocate out of the country as soon as it is legally possible. And never do any bitcoin related business in the USA.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: sending bitcoin to users in china on: October 08, 2015, 11:29:47 PM
Just send it to his/her bitcoin address like normal. Chinese users can use blockchain.info chan't they?
246  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: October 08, 2015, 10:37:37 PM
In this forum I wonder how many users are actually "Female"
some claim they are Female,
some use girl sounding username
I guess others do it coz they are thinking that its easier to get a tip from others if your a girl. Like in other gambling site with chat. Sometimes girls get tips often especially if they are active on that site.
This is true. I always assume female accounts are pandering for free stuff whether they are real or not.
247  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Legalize Marijuana, Illegalize Fissibles on: October 08, 2015, 07:51:40 PM
I don't use marajuana and I don't plan on ever using it but I think it should be legalized. It is a waste of money to enforce drug laws.
248  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar - decentralized eBay on: October 08, 2015, 07:17:07 PM
I hope there will be a lot of buyers on release. I have some stuff I have been sitting on to sell.

it should not be so different than selling on the market section, if you were not able to sell there, there are high chances that there will be not so easy to find someone on openbazar

i doubt everyone who know about openbazar don't know about bitcointalk, at best it's the opposite

Yes but I have been too apathetic to make a bunch of trade threads here. I just want try something new. I could just as easily put my stuff up on ebay as well.
249  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who Owns Photos and Videos Posted on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter? on: October 07, 2015, 11:39:46 PM
I always have the assumption that somebody else has control over my content when I submit anything on the Internet. Even on this forum.
250  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Your milk is entirely too natural to not be labeled “imitation” on: October 07, 2015, 11:38:15 PM
I don't even bother drinking milk at all anymore. It has too many hormones and chemicals, I just don't want to deal with it.
251  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is e-coin.io trustable? on: October 07, 2015, 11:29:08 PM
I heard a lot of good reviews about bit-x's debit card. There is also Xapo as well.
252  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you have any plans if Bitcoin goes up to 300$? on: October 07, 2015, 11:28:19 PM
$300 is not a big milestone to me. I still held bitcoins when they shot up to over $1000.
253  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar - decentralized eBay on: October 07, 2015, 09:24:36 PM
I hope there will be a lot of buyers on release. I have some stuff I have been sitting on to sell.
254  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase pays the fee for its users? on: October 07, 2015, 09:18:49 PM
I am a bit paranoid about using coinbase due to past accusations. The fee really isn't that big of a deal to me.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another "bitcoin pizza" thread on: October 07, 2015, 09:11:36 PM
Bitcoin stil isn't mainstream enough for them to care. That would be a cool idea for the future.
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2015: The year of the stress test on: October 07, 2015, 08:17:56 PM
First coinwallet.eu, then malleability and now a powerful stress test from an unknown source comes in creating a growing backlog of ~360Mb

I didn't know another "test" was on until I read your post. I check the explorers, we no have 28k unconfirmed transaction totaling 310M. The good news is nothing a 0.0002btc/k fee wouldn't solve.

The part I don't understand is why are some people burning their bitcoin to repeat these tests? They haven't proven anything and it's not bringing the network to its knees. Why waste money?

Perhaps a government organization or private corporation is conducting this attack. The fees are nothing for an entity with a high budget.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about the negative reputation of the bitcoin currency? on: October 07, 2015, 08:03:16 PM
I think people are afraid of taking responsibility over their own finances. The best way to tell people is that bitcoins are like virtual cash.
258  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Did I just lost $3600? on: October 07, 2015, 07:49:08 PM
They don't remember or recover passwords for your own security. It is not possible for them to steal your bitcoins because of that. Try your best to remember what your password is otherwise you just flushed that money down the toilet.
259  Economy / Speculation / Re: Only 6 million bitcoin be left to mine on: October 07, 2015, 07:25:18 PM
I wonder if the mining will be sped up in the future due to some sort of new innovations in processor technology.
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MasterCard Exec: ‘Bitcoin Doesn't Really Work in Today's Environment’ on: October 07, 2015, 07:21:01 PM
Well businesses can set up some sort of internal transaction system instead of relying on the actual blockchain for quick micro transactions.
