101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who really uses bitcoin? on: October 27, 2015, 10:05:16 PM
It is true that there are lots of criminals that love bitcoins but there are more and more legitimate businesses popping up.
102  Economy / Services / Re: will host your sites and VPNs in Mauritius and Hong Kong for Bitcoins on: October 27, 2015, 09:45:35 PM
I am assuming that you meant 32/64GB memory Cheesy.
I will submit a query for a quote on a VPS in mauritius.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the point of Circle, Bitpay and so on? on: October 26, 2015, 10:04:49 PM
A lot of businesses that are new to bitcoins just want to accept payments due to consumer demand. They dont want to bother converting and exchanging themselves. They may not even have any interest in the actual longevity of bitcoin.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin wallet? on: October 26, 2015, 10:02:53 PM
Im using blockchain.info with a small amount of satoshis to make quick transactions. The rest are in cold storage.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You damn fools - it'll never work. on: October 26, 2015, 10:01:15 PM
He was right to a certain extent, but he failed to realize that comparing bitcoin to checks isn't valid, since bitcoin is limited in it's number.
If there were magical checks that complete transfer of money as fast as bitcoin, and if they were capped at 21 million as well, they as well would have value to them.
This W.B. has no logical thinking to his head, i'm surprised he even achieved anything in his life.

You can't say the great Warren Buffet has no logical thinking. He got to where he is today BECAUSE of his thinking. He's a great man with great views. Don't judge him just because his views on BTC differ from yours.

He got to where he is today because his father already owned a brokerage. If he was an average Joe, he would be still washing cars probably.
The only reason he (and his alikes) is talking bad about bitcoin is because it's something that he obviously doesn't understand. Also, he is protecting his fiat and stock assets by doing so.
People should always question those in power, w/o that there is no progress to be made.
You are right. These old fart billionaires only talk smack about bitcoin because they want to protect their own investments.

108  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Hits Highest Level Since August on: October 26, 2015, 08:21:56 PM
I am keeping my fingers crossed for it to pass the $300 barrier once again. Maybe the influx of chinese users will help.
109  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best Laptop Mining Software for me on: October 26, 2015, 08:16:03 PM
I have been running an older butterfly labs miner on my laptop for the past year with no problems. If you plan on CPU mining then just forget it.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to draw the confirmation lines. on: October 26, 2015, 08:14:09 PM
I wait for 3 confirmations for the majority of my sales. More if the purchase is rather large.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You damn fools - it'll never work. on: October 26, 2015, 08:09:31 PM
I am very impressed at how far bitcoin has gone so far. I thought it was pure BS when I heard about it in 2011.
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So... what really happened to Satoshi? Who was this person? on: October 26, 2015, 08:06:12 PM
Nobody can really know for certain. Even if somebody comes out at the real Satoshi they could just be a fake. And the real satoshi would probably want to remain hidden anyway.
113  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: In 2015, faucets are bad for bitcoin on: October 26, 2015, 07:51:55 PM
Faucets are just a way for newbies to get a few bits and figure out how bitcoin works. There are some people from third world countries that try to hit up all of the faucets in hopes of making money though.
114  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info Problem with Wallet on: October 26, 2015, 07:49:24 PM
It happens from time to time. If you don't want to risk downtime then you should just use the client.
115  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Who runs Bitcoin IRC and why is bitcoin.com listed out as spammy o'er there? on: October 26, 2015, 07:47:36 PM
I have heard other people talking bad about bitcoin.com as well. I just see it as another a blog/forum website.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: October 26, 2015, 07:38:32 PM
gambling isn't wrong if you keep winning, and if you lose its going wrong , just play with what you can afford , dont be greedy, and the last one thing, dont make bitcoin as your main job/main activities  Grin
gambling wrong if you lose -_-
its mean gambling will always wrong because lost course would have experienced
gambling is wrong if you lose but it could be right thing if you continuously win and became rich from it Grin Grin Grin Grin

Using your logic, gambling is wrong because if you keep on gambling, you will lose eventually and become not rich. The enjoyment during gambling is also important.
Professional poker players become rich from gambling. The no skill games like slots or dice are more likely to make you broke.
117  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Yahoo Email Accounts for $0.06 on: October 26, 2015, 07:34:34 PM

119  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ebay/Paypal's ridiculous fees on: October 26, 2015, 07:27:04 PM
Fees aside, Ebay is very biased towards buyers. You are in a world of hurt if a buyer gives you negative feedback or a chargeback.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Choose the most used type of wallet on: October 26, 2015, 07:23:23 PM
I think online web wallets are the most popular because people are too lazy to figure out how to use and backup their own wallets.
