302  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: October 03, 2015, 07:51:19 PM
There is always a possibility that bitcoin will reach $1000 again but so many people will dump it would crash again.
303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: # of bitcoin FINITE??? on: October 02, 2015, 05:12:02 PM
bitcoin was made to be finite so that it can not be inflated or printed out by a central organaziation. Satoshi wanted it to be like digital gold.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What coin now reigns supreme? on: October 02, 2015, 05:09:56 PM
Litecoin
namecoin
clamcoin
dogecoin

Those are my personal favorities. Most of your customers would be bitcoin anyway though.
305  Economy / Economics / Re: Good read on the future of the dollar on: October 02, 2015, 05:07:23 PM
Many great empires inflated their currency towards the end of their reigns, They all end up crashing and the USD is no different.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Websites Experience Service Outage in Venezuela on: October 02, 2015, 05:02:27 PM
It could have been an error as well. Don't underestimate the incompetency of latin america ISPs. XD
307  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar - decentralized eBay on: October 02, 2015, 04:58:22 PM
I never even heard of BitMit, how do you guys find about these kind things so early?

Elwar is like the Godfather on this forum for knowing literally everywhere to spend bitcoin.
Bitmit was a website from the earlier days of bitcoin. Back when bitcoins were like $8  Cheesy
308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SyriaRelief.org is accepting bitcoin donations. We should help! on: October 02, 2015, 04:55:22 PM
Although I will not donate to this organization I still like to see more publicity for bitcoin. Bitcoin would be great if a person wants to donate to a charity but risks persecution by their own government.
309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to blacklisted coins? on: October 02, 2015, 04:51:26 PM
Some people do not follow the politics of the bitcoin community so a shady seller can sell his coins sooner or later.
310  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: October 02, 2015, 04:49:45 PM
It is a great way to pay for porn. Men can avoid embarrassing charges on their credit card or paypal account.
311  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: October 02, 2015, 04:45:50 PM
Royal Tiffany made 8BTC in about an hour, modelling for Xotika.TV. I'd think that's a pretty strong motivation!

I interviewed her on my blog where she discusses using and working for Bitcoin.

The majority of women don't want to work in the adult industry though. We need ideas to appeal to the average jane.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The perception of Bitcoin in San Diego ABC News is still like 2013 on: September 30, 2015, 08:38:12 PM
Corporate television media drag their feet about decentralised cryptocurrency at their peril. The message that their information is not as accurate as doing your on internet research is really starting to hit home finally, and this will only be yet one more example of an issue that turns out differently in reality to how an organisation like ABC choose to present it.
Corporate tv still caters to the old farts that don't leave their house and have no clue about the world.
313  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your least favorite thing about Bitcoin? on: September 30, 2015, 08:36:55 PM
I really wish there were more options for me to buy bitcoin in my area. But that will change i bitcoin continues to grow.
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of bitcoin on: September 30, 2015, 08:33:13 PM
I think bitcoin will become very big in oppressive countries with currency exchange controls. I am optimistic about it's adoption worldwide but I still have no idea.
315  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: September 30, 2015, 08:21:08 PM
Real estate is a good investment in the right places. Even if the value goes down you at least have a property that you can settle down instead of renting.
316  Economy / Economics / Re: IBM working with US Federal banks to develop digital currency on: September 30, 2015, 08:19:38 PM
Centralized digital currency is the same as fiat. What is the point in that?
317  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the US win the currency war? on: September 30, 2015, 08:18:48 PM
Most countries around the world use USD as their reserve currency. Many people in poor countries also put their savings in USD due to the perceived stability.
318  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: September 30, 2015, 08:17:25 PM
I prefer bitcoins because It is safer for me to travel outside of the country with my funds in a virtual wallet than a briefcase full of gold.
319  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Q! how to trade [BTC] w/o credit/bank account? on: September 30, 2015, 08:15:58 PM

320  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Brazil has more than 150 stores that accept bitcoin on: September 30, 2015, 08:13:52 PM
I think bitcoin will become big in the 3rd world and developing countries due to currency instability and exchange controls by governments. Also, some countries do not have access to Paypal so bitcoin is a viable option in those places.
