242  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.08 loan with colleteral on: February 16, 2016, 08:25:28 AM
0.08 bitcoin required i have bct account colleteral
Repayment at Feb 20 with 10% interest.

Edit: im taking this loan for trading on ethereum.

Hi.

Unfortunately your account has a negative feedback. So I'm not sure it is worth the amount you want to borrow.

Do you have anything else to offer maybe ?

If not I doubt someone will really accept to loan you.
243  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam alert : Do NOT INVEST in Genesis Mining on: February 16, 2016, 08:12:11 AM
Genesis Mining now tries to attract new customers with Ethereum :

1) Price is way too high.
2) You will not ROI
3) It seems really convenient Ether mining, which was "sold out" for monthes, if for sell again now that price is skyrocketing.

Right now its not worth to buy Ethereum Cloud Mining from Genesis Mining as cost is quite high

1 MH/s cost USD 44 for one year

if you see this ether calculator

http://badmofo.github.io/ethereum-mining-calculator/

Month    0.991780    $5.14

you will generate this amount ..

so you need 9 month to get ROI ..so which is not worth to buy it right now as per the price rate ..

Once it lower you can decide ..

Wow, those prices have skyrocketed.  I know ether has gone up recently on the exchanges, but Genesis has really gotten greedy here in a SHORT time.  Just 2 weeks ago it was 1799.00 for 1 year of mining and now its 4400.00.  Thats pretty rough.  What makes it even less of a value is the difficulty has also gotten a bit harder, so that 100 MH at one year isnt even paying off like it was because everyone is jumping on the Ether bandwagon.  Buyer beware on this deal.

hello

I am sharing my results of mining in Genesis in a spreadsheet. Can follow on:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1OJYGXuIUpFc7OeXxYGv5NNNfi_hjjQ4mLvYwN8OcNbc/edit#gid=0

agreed.  i would bet you don't even see 1btc back. ;\
see this is why we need everyone to be a part of the scam thread, they get newbies with all the advertising and slickness and it's sickening ;\

The difficulty has risen too much. If it just rose 2% every time, then the miner can have some ROI.

honestly your guys are going about it wrong, i have NEVER lost money cloudmining except genesis cause once you give them the money you have zero control over it or your hash.
hashnest i have been a user a year, have roi'd maybe 3 times? i just keep updating to better machines as they come, grabbed a pacmic made some money there (tho it took forever it was safe invest atleast)
eobot also i am big user as i mine their altcoins for when price rises (working very well with eth last few weeks) and i have recently roi'd there (tho it took almost a year with the crazyness)
so it can be done, just not thru genesis! haha

I also ROIed twice with Hashnest. The possibility to sell back your Ghs is a nice way to reach ROI without so much difficulty.
245  Economy / Speculation / Re: When are you selling your bitcoins? on: February 14, 2016, 03:10:14 PM
i am selling when i made at least 30-50% profit. if the profit remains below 30% then i simply won't sell anything and continue with holding. and when i sell i never sell all my coins. i sell probably 25% of my coins when securing profits. the rest remains in my offline wallets as my ultimate goal is to hold till the price reaches at least $2000.

I never sell them all.

If it rise up I sell a little part, keeping most of it in case it will keep rising. And keep money aside in case it goes down again to rebuy more for the same amount.

If it goes down I use money I have aside to buy more and sell only when it goes up again.

That's how you can have more bictoin easily, just enjoying both if it rise and if it goes down. You have to see price going down as a buying opportunity.

247  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crowdfunding for a music project? on: February 13, 2016, 04:01:20 PM
I think it will be difficult as a music project cant guarantee an income to repay investors. To successfully get the crow-funding started, you'd need a sound business plan.

Someone i knew (quite sometime back) wanted to do the same thing, but in the end, she managed to get hold of an uni student who was doing his videography project. Things turned out good, although the views on youtube barely surpassed 1k  Grin

Guys, why do you all think he wants a loan ?? So stop talking about interest rate and investment, etc...
The title of the thread is clear enough : "Crowdfunding for a music project".

Good to know indiegogo accept bitcoin bye the way. I didn't know. I think we all have to support those who accept bitcoins. That's how you will prove the world bitcoin has a real value and can be useful for the economy.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : now with added CLAMs : Play or Invest on: February 13, 2016, 12:00:17 PM

Perhaps you could put withdraw limits on JD to help save the CLAM market.

Put it to a vote maybe? Roll Eyes

It doesn't look like a good idea to me. People should be allowed to withdraw all they want and sell all they want.

Lower price is also the occasion to buy more if you already have clams / or for new users to enter into the clam market at a lower price.
249  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: February 13, 2016, 09:40:51 AM
2hours i think still no answer
its my withdraw problem as its says its processed manual ...

Just 2 hours you say? Cut MICRO some slack, he has to be a human and do other stuff sometimes  Tongue . Compare PD support stats with others, and you'll notice how fast you will be getting a reply

Completely agree with PrimeDice support high quality standard: some times ago stats were posted about average ticket solution time and they were astonishingly fast.

About the bolded part...yep I guess MICRO sometimes eats drinks and go to toilette.. but only sometimes....not to talk about his bad habit to sleep some hours every night  Tongue

I used to hate Primedice support. In the past they took weeks to answer.

But since Micro is handling it, it is much more better :-) Every issues are solved in a few hours.
Micro is a very efficient and trustable person so I guess it really was a good decision to hire him for this.

670 day to reach ROI... omg... You can say goodbye to your 3 btc man... You will never ROI... :-(

Estimated Next Difficulty: 179,314,996,345 (+24.42%) ==> I will be way worse than 670 days..
255  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam alert : Do NOT INVEST in Genesis Mining on: February 11, 2016, 05:46:25 PM
As far as I can tell they seem to be a reputable company with decent ish service. That being said, chances are you will NEVER ROI. It's very simple logic behind this.

If you can mine for a good profit, why would you sell this to users at less than what you can make with it? They are out to make money, not give it to you for free to be good people.

They accept credit card payments, bank transfers etc. This is handy for people just getting involved with the currencies involved. Spending BTC thinking you're going to magically make more money is well... stupid really...

Worst I've heard about them (and seen with my own experience) is they don't ROI. Especially if you pay with BTC.

For people new to the market, it is a good way if you want to get involved with mining and get a feel for various coins and not outright buy them in an exchange. It helps add more subsitnance to the crypto market as a whole. This is FAR from a scam. Good business practices?(for them). Sure. Bad investment for your BTC? Sure. Scam? How? Have they stolen your money? Support gone AWOL? Not giving you a decent ROI is far from a scam, all this information on what happens on your account is stated in the agreements.. I like many people learned the hard way by not reading first before purchasing. Everything from their return policies and what happens when it's no longer profitable is easy to find on their site..

That said, I wouldn't ever purchase again, but wouldn't go as far as to say it's a scam just because I got burned by not doing my research and reading agreements I was signing with a legally licensed corporate entity.

Come on. Hardly a scam.

So what ? Because customers are newbie and don't read all the lines of the contracts they are the one to blame ? That's just bad faith.

You can't defend a company who just sell dream and scam their customers. You can't get back what you pay them : that's all we need to say it is a scam.

It's like if I tell you "Send me 2 btc, I will send you back 1 BTC". That's exactly what they are doing except they are saying "Hey give us 2 BTC, we have webseminar, we are so cool, we will give you the best profit, we have a nice website, we have so much transparency (lie!), we mine in Iceland, etc.."

As I already said to their defenders on the thread : They are NOT selling a "get involved in crypto market and discover what bitcoin and mining is" contract. They are selling mining contract and they tell you you will ROI, which is just a huge lie !

Why wouldn't they do it for themself only ? Because when you pay them you capitalize in their company ; you allow them to build a mining facility with LOWER cost and buy A LOT of miners for LOWER prices (and put these mining farms in Iceland so they can reduce costs & negociate a huge contract with their electricity provider).

That's why they need customers and are selling this service. It is supposed to be a win-win situation.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : now with added CLAMs : Play or Invest on: February 11, 2016, 05:24:12 PM
Anyone knows why CLAM price is going down ? Is there a new digger whale ? Anything I should know and I don't ?

Thx for your answers Smiley
257  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam alert : Do NOT INVEST in Genesis Mining on: February 10, 2016, 07:05:21 PM
just curious about IF SOMEBODY GET'S ROI, or knows somebody who do this with genesis mining???

The only persons I know who ROI did it like 2 years ago when difficulty wasn't so high. Right know I believe it is mathematicaly impossible.

The fee is a fix amount per day per ghs (I can't remember how much and it depends of your contract - You can see it if you go into the details of the contract you have on their website). Which means you will be fucked with difficulty increasing what ever you do because your payout will decrease and proportionaly the fee will increase.

after that I received a message that they decrease the maintenance fee 4 times (WTF)?!?!?!

They probably need new money coming in so they try to attract new customers this way... That's a shame :-/
258  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis-Mining Review on: February 09, 2016, 03:03:52 PM
For now only Ethereum mining is goining like crazy  Smiley

If that because of the rise of Ethereum price. If you buy Ethereum directly, can you make more profits?

Yes you will. Don't listen to Ianfoxley and Zeta0S, they are either blind or paid by GM (or hoping for referal money?)

This is the link to my scam accusation thread against Genesis Mining. They have been selling non-ROI contracts for too long. Enough is enough.

Let's attack them where it hurts : their new potential customers and their reputation

259  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam alert : Do NOT INVEST in Genesis Mining on: February 09, 2016, 08:41:44 AM
Genesis Mining deletes all my posts in their thread section so I'll post here again.

This is an old thread I did against Genesis Mining. I edited the first post today but the purpose is still the same it was when I first opened this thread : We have to warn people who are investing there, tell them they are going to lose their money, and do everything we can to shut down this scamming company.

I don't deny you could ROI with them it in the past (I did it with my first contract with them) but right know, with current difficulty, "low" bitcoin price & high fees they are taking on lifetime contracts it is only a waste of time and money for their "customers".

Genesis Mining has to shut down its service and stop scamming customers : They know no body can ROI with them and still offer contracts.

==> This is a post from another customers in their thread :

Up to 2/7/2016...I knew this day would come eventually!  I am 168 days into a lifetime 1.5THs contract and it's down to paying $0.02 per day.  It's not dead yet but it's gasping for air.  I paid 2.6310 BTC for this contract and I've collected 0.5438 in payouts from it and that's pretty much all I will ever see back.  I bought this contract as a test hoping to do more later on.  What a total waste of time and money.  If you are thinking of buying a cloud contract from Genesis because of their slick web site, do yourself a favor and just buy and hold BTC instead.

Will somebody please refer me to the best links to get the newest release of the C++ Ethereum Client...I've been having problems keeping the old client running....keeps crashing now...but I haven't changed anything so....Anything, will help....going crazy here trying to get my Mist Client sync'ed since importing my wallet.

I use the online one (https://www.myetherwallet.com) and It works just fine. But I don't know I'm not sure if it has all the features that you need.
