241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Cash worth more after China ban on: September 07, 2017, 09:28:37 AM
i see bitcoin cash price is growing so much after china ban.

is it because BCC still supported in China after ICO ban?

How much do you think BCC price will be within next week?

243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Different balance between Core Wallet and Electrum/ElectronCash Wallet on: September 05, 2017, 05:30:26 PM
I suspect you simply missed the change addresses when exporting the keys from your core wallet.

So when you sent the BTC out, it would have take all the BTCs from the change addesses as well. However, you've only exported the keys for your 8 "receive" addresses... and not your "change" addresses (FYI, these don't show up in Bitcoin Core when you goto "File -> Receiving addresses" list)

Have a look at the actual transaction(s) where you sent all the BTC from Bitcoin Core to your new Core Wallet on a blockexplorer... how many addresses show there? Did you import the keys for ALL of those addresses into ElectronCash?

That would explain it. Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out tonight and write here, if this solve the problem  Wink

Electron cash has 100 inputs limit per wallet as i know.
to solve this, you have to Sweep funds from wallet to your Electron cash wallet, this could take 2 or 3 sweeps if you have many inputs on your wallet.

You can try to follow this step b step tutorial using Electron cash :

244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins can you claim for free as BTC owners? on: September 05, 2017, 12:57:23 PM
I mean coins like Byteball where the coins are airdropped to BTC owners. Any other coins like that?

I saw the interview of Roger Ver and Richard Heart and Richard mentions Byteball and some other coin I forgot, I think Stellar Lumeris or whatever is called, I have no idea what that is.

Anyway, what other coins can you get for free as BTC owners? (yes, I already know about Bitcoin Cash too)

as i know, there is only bitcoin cash (BCC) can be claimed for bitcoin owners before August.

had you claimed your bitcoin cash or not yet?

249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Step by Step How to Claim Your Bitcoin Cash Balance and Exchange into Bitcoins on: August 31, 2017, 07:38:00 PM
Thanks for your help.
The thing is, the original wallet in this case is on Mycelium on a smartphone. How can one "sweep" the data from the computer?

while you have private key for your wallet, you can sweep funds into your new created wallet on Electron.
Sweep will create new transaction and send balance from your old wallet (Mycelium) into your new Electron cash wallet.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Claim your Bitcoin Cash in Exodus Wallet on: August 31, 2017, 07:25:55 PM
sorry i removed my warning post.
i thought you can claim bcc from any wallet if you know only wallet address.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Step by Step How to Claim Your Bitcoin Cash Balance and Exchange into Bitcoins on: August 31, 2017, 06:21:39 PM
i don't know what "not verified" means, as long as i'm not the developer and i never get like this problem before.
usually i get 'Unconfirmed' for new transactions, but soon it gets 'Confirmed'.

you said you did Wallet Import, in my case i did Sweep.
i notice in one of my wallets, which has many transactions when i do sweep only some inputs and some of total balance get sweep to my Electron cash wallet. i notice some more balance was still remain in my bcc wallet. and i get error when i do new sweep before first sweep payment get confirmed. so i wait some minutes till first sweep get confirmed then i did another sweep for same private key (same wallet) to claim the remaining inputs (balance) till it get empty (no inputs and no more balance).

maybe i'm using old Electron Cash wallet version, it has only sweep, no import wallet option other than starting up (import or create new wallet) i created new wallet.

maybe your problem will be solved if you follow steps exactly, sweep worked very well with all my wallets, only one which has many inputs (many transactions) i said before, double sweep solved the problem. but not sure double import is possible  Undecided

what i advice you to do, is installing Electron Cash wallet again on new laptop, Create new wallet, and then Sweep your old wallet, this should work if your wallet has many transaction /many inputs. each sweep will take 100 inputs only.

Good luck!

253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Electron Cash not giving the same amount as the original BTC wallet had on: August 30, 2017, 08:37:09 PM
Electron cash wallet has 100 inputs limit per sweep.
You have to wait till first sweep get confirmed, then you can do anther sweep.

I personally didn't store any bitcoin prior to the hardfork so there's no bitcoin cash for me, but this is very handy for people that did. Nice contribution to the community!

hope you have better luck with some new fork
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / is there any way to confirm our transactions on personal laptop? on: August 25, 2017, 09:00:25 PM

257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Step by Step How to Claim Your Bitcoin Cash Balance and Exchange into Bitcoins on: August 25, 2017, 08:39:22 PM
So do I need to move Bitcoins off my wallets first before following your procedure? If I send Bitcoins to a new address, will the Bitcoin Cash still be at that address? I assume that would be the safest thing to do first to protect the Bitcoins.

Yes better to move bitcoins first to new wallet address, and bitcoin cash will stay on old address  Wink
