i really hope joe added zero micromanagement required POS into this release
(auto merge and split mechanics or at least configureable triggers in conf)

I'm dumping all if he does that.

and strip last line

p.s. use json validator Wink

I feel like my stake weight isn't quite right.  I've got ~2k XMG in my wallet, but weight is only ~300.  Is that correct?  Is there something else I need to be doing to stake properly?  I keep my wallet open and unlocked 24/7...

Thanks!

amount is not important, they have to be consolidated, use coin control and send them to yourself again in portions of at least say 150-300, that amount will split in 3 to 1,5 days.

I just got a transaction from an unknown payer:

https://btc.blockr.io/tx/info/331abc248a35382abdc22901ad4efd9e9501ec82960a7879b3d4e6c9fddb5d00

anyone else get one on this payment?   I am kind of baffled;  especially since I dont give my address out for donation or anything....

once a week you get dust 10K-99K satoshi

Was it from Nicehash perhaps? We only pay out the smaller balances on Sunday afternoon/evening.

true, but you don't exclude those who are being paid on regular basis.

We appear to have some creative DDoS'er sweeping through. Should have it sorted tonight with new rules on the firewall.

Should improve now actually. New monitor in place and banning ip's already

Is there any place to get my IP whitelisted to not get banned? . .  . just in case for multiple miners connection from one IP . . .

how to cache pool's api data locally, so my don't miners don't make too many polls and get blank response?

what a lack of understanding that POS is not get rich on autopilot but another way to provide secure network by some incentive on those who use it.

251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: FAQ: All About Unconfirmed 0 Confirmation Transaction Fee (READ before posting!) on: March 16, 2016, 01:51:05 PM
it was working well until you put that - 66: Mempool Min Fee Not Met

Hmm, yeah... the thing about that...

If there are too many pending transactions, you get that error when your transaction does not make the cut...

Basically, there are 18,000 people in line who are willing to pay a higher fee than you

I set the mempool to 500MB (default is 300MB), but there are currently over 18,000 unconfirmed transactions... cumulative fees for unconfirmed transactions are up to 1,282.62774345 BTC! (an average of 0.071 BTC fee per transaction?!?)

https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions

my node behaves strange, after mem usage on mempool gets close to 300Mb suddenly all inputs get lowest priority enforcing higher than usual fees, all gets back to normal with restarting daemon every 2 days

why you waste GPU power on Decred, hashrate is 4 x sha256(bitcoin) for AMD, earning you get is double than mining bitcoin?! check blakecoin thread, only useful devices are some FPGA.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Confirmations over 1 on: February 28, 2016, 11:56:37 AM
6 confirms is about one hour, so find a way to delay receiving those notifications by one hour Cheesy
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoinwallet used by 2 people at the same time. on: February 28, 2016, 11:42:22 AM
it is perfectly safe*, if you take some simple notes, to use one wallet with two computers, just make use you always use coin control and send small change coins first when they have enough confirmations(medium priority).

change amounts are quite small, most of the time they are from 0,010xxxxx to 0,019xxxxx, you can always send to console - keypoolrefil 1000 before copying wallet.dat it will make your wallet bigger with 1000 change addresses

before deleting one wallet check if balance is equal to another by comparing output of - listaddressgroupings - typed in console, dump/import the missing address

there is an option to send change to custom address also

* - in fact you have double backup if one PC HDD fails, but you have double weak points if one PC is compromised by a trojan virus.

what types are those cards, it seems they throttle, set temp target to 75C and see how it goes.

Hi, i have a balance of 11868 dogecoindarks unpaid since a week ago, the payout add is DBWUw7YaawME2nCtqL9mZwJq1Gvbmmj5A3 and the balance is still unpaid, do you have some ETA for the payouts?  thanks

http://hashpower.co/site/mining

http://hashpower.co/site/block?id=561

pool pays from found blocks, if no DOGED block is found you won't be paid as auto exchange is something_else -> BTC, there're 12500 unconfirmed DOGED, if someone else had chosen to be paid in DOGED beside you, you will split that block I guess proportionately to your balances.
