They are better than they used to be, there is no doubt about that, but we are talking about something that is not really all that much different in the end, we are talking about a team that went from bad to decent but still not at Liverpool levels.

Both are different and both have their own USP but the growth in Matic is bigger than DOT. I would like to have both in my wallet considering the price at which they both are being traded. I would prefer to have more MATIC as it is still cheaper than DOT and in the next big bull run, both will be great to have for big profit. While MATIC has only shredded 50% of its price from its ATH, DOT is down by more than 90%.
the problem with matic is the massive supply that its got though always prevents me from investing in it but overall based on their growth and the features they introduced arguably i will prefer to invest in matic than DOT but each person can have differing opinion but the fact that matic is simply an L2 of ethereum means its gonna get wider market coverage since right now ethereum is just becoming more popular than ever. but if i were given chance to choose outside than these two though i'd definitely prefer the newer L2 since thats where the volatility resides. i can't invest in the bigger altcoin while they are already climbing the price up quite high enough that i don't think its gonna be profitable for me in the long run. |

its always random pattern with meme shifting blockchain usually the massive rally of these meme coins happened random too so i'm not really sure there has been history of meme coin becoming popular in solana and blockchain but in base i think mostly just some meme NFT and any similar kind of that, so I don't think the narrative has truly shifted yet.
therefore i will still try to snipes in solana chain for the new meme coin but of course its not advised for anyone to try since it carries huge risk.
also,the thing with BNB is that usually its fully infested with random meme coin that worth nothing not worth putting attention into therefore i'm kinda pessimistic.

I don't think anyone will invest in memecoin on a large scale. Everyone knows that memecoin is quite risky, therefore most of them will not invest much of their money there. buy within reasonable limits and if they are lucky they can get big profits if the price increases many times over.

It's true that we have to set aside our money to invest in this bull run because this opportunity only comes once every 4 years, maybe once a generation because the cycle times are very different, so maximize the bull run to get lots of profits in this bull run.

However meme coins are know to be more volatile than other coins, and that means they can pump rapidly or dump rapidly. So in as much as they make investor become rich, they can also drain make them encounter lots of loses. Due to the fact that memecoins are the current hype, we now have lots of scam project that will definitely become shitcoins after a while, meme coins are short term coins for investment. All cryptos are volatile except stable coins but even with that, I can see some stable coins that have been moving under some cents and trying to depeg. And what you've said is a warning to those that like most memecoins. So before you invest on any thing, make sure you invest with yourself first. there should be understanding that in every scenario health take first priority when health priority is below investment at this point we are not investing but we are in for a really bad future since medical expenses gonna be waiting for us in the future, investment does I think is a necessity nowadays though, i mean when inflation quite literally eating up your saving about 5% each year you might think of investing to spare yourselves from the inflation as well as preventing overspending if its possible. therefore i consider nowaday investment as one of the most crucial thing if we want to have a good life in these days otherwise if you truly don't really look after saving money because maybe you already have good income to afford all the thing you want its different matter. but as i said earlier, i always take health as the first priority, imagine by putting aside health and wellness you are making an inverted investment where you just gonna add up eventual medial expense. |

Irrespective of the fact that we have more of shitcoins coming from memecoins, all coins category of coins have their lesson to teach. To my best of knowledge, for meme coins it teaches a discipline to make concrete research and get to the market early. It also teaches one to focus on the market due to its high volatility. Many investors venture into meme coins because of its high volatility but in as much as that could make you rich in a split seconds( sarcasm) it can also cause you losses in that same rapid dump.
I personally believe that with meme coin the only thing you should research is the smart contract code whether it have malicious or a back door where the dev can rugpull you and thats it, most of meme coin that become big usually just suddenly sky rocketing in term of price disregarding any economic principle they just suddenly got support of many people and suddenly become big and thats it as much as ridiculous it is but usually with meme coin you don't do research, you just find the hottest meme coin in the market that are still low in market cap and then you just try to gamble your money investing in that shit coin hoping that it'd become big. but we all know the chance of that from happening is kinda low so you should ready big shelves of dollars just in case if you're so eager to invest. other than that, buying when the market cap already reaching about $100 million market cap usually the coin might go up until it got listed in best reputable exchange then it slowly going down, then again the odd of winning with shit coin investment is ultra slim. |

Yes I go with your opinion because the main driving force behind Dogecoin is Elon Marks. Elon Musk effort Dogecoin has created a good position today. It is heard that he will use Dogecoin as a payment method on his X platform. Also, if he starts Dogecoin payment method instead of Bitcoin in his Tesla company, then Dogecoin will easily exceed $1 and may exceed more. But I believe that one day all these systems can be introduced by Elon Musk. But I think it's better for all of us to invest some dollars in this Dogecoin for the future. I have kept and am trying to keep more.

Is the bullrun just finished until we haven't fully seen the halving? So so far investors have been too hasty in playing the memecoin season. Meanwhile, it usually happens after the halving, but I quite understand that investors cannot be controlled so they start to attack meme coins and quite a few markets experience instability. Exchanges as large as Binance are now getting easier to list memecoins day by day. Many projects that have been running for years cannot be listed on the Binance exchange, losing out to shitcoins that are only 2 days old.
Coming back to whether it's time for memecoin season or not, we can't read the direction of market movements, could it be too fast or is the bull run too short?
its indeed meme coin season in solana the other chain not so much but there has been recent massive deployment of some random shitcoin on solana you see in dex smart contract in solana its full of shitcoin buy/sell transactions and yes their market cap grow so fast that its actually kinda crazy in my opinion. on the other hand binance are being more easy and friendly toward listing meme coin probably due to the fact that they want to pump that trading volume number up since we know that when meme coin really become a hits hitting a billion dollar trading volume is just piece of cake, deduct certain percent as a fee then binance already having good profit from listing it. so its no wonder that they rather easy in listing these, moreover, other centralized exchange similar to binance are doing exactly the same thing so there's no blaming here. |

Although this thread was created in 2017 so it's been a long time so it's an old topic. Currently all of these Dogecoins have been at least inactive and have seen massive success since Elonmusk took over the project. Hence it is currently enjoying massive success and is apt to grow further.
That's right, maybe even the OP is now holding and enjoying the results of doge investment from that year,  Many people are rich impromptu with the spark of meme coins, hype, trash etc. But this trend continues and many are interested in maybe the next few phases / survive in the market. More and more meme coin activists and developers are also very enthusiastic about entering cex tier 1, which is progress in the ranks of cheap coins. Doge is a pioneer who managed to break the statement that as far as fundamentals and supply a lot, even new projects get an exclusive view for buyers. Halving is still counting down, I believe doge will return to ATH, we will see the news again. so many meme coin being developed with their own quirks and branding these days and some of them gain succeed and massive recognition from the community. what always confuses me though how exactly a meme coin suddenly gaining half a billion market cap just within a day with very low budget for marketing and yes i'm talking about certain latest meme coin that gained that massive valuation within very short of time due to an accident and the fact that it overtake certain coin easily that spends literally millions into marketing is always kinda crazy to me honestly. i believe that its due to the force of community accompanying the release of the meme coin but its always crazy in my mind, half billion isn't some measly amount when we are talking about valuation and such massive valuation usually takes time to be gained even for the project with most reputation but with meme coin its like its something thats very normal to be happening. |

If bitcoin can make profit from here so does eth. Eth ETF hype isn’t gone and the fud circling around eth etf is to create panic among the investors so that they can dump the market to accumulate more token in cheap price.
