241  Local / India / Re: Which bitcoin exchanger should i use now? on: December 18, 2017, 04:10:50 AM
Previously i am working with Btcxindia but now they closed bitcoin. Igot which is fraud and now bitlio. Zebpay bad support as i read in thread.

Which exchanger should i use with best support.

Coinsecure best rate , best support . If you face any issue you can inform Benson Samuel who is very polite person and also Moderator here Smiley ; But remember Verification can take 10 working days in CS since they have heavy amount of users and backlogs , its the biggest exchange in India so you have to be a bit patient during verification process .

Coinsecure also bringing ETH soon besides BTC Smiley
242  Local / India / Re: Zebpay - Simplest Bitcoin mobile wallet on: December 16, 2017, 10:15:32 AM
How fast are the Withdrawals ?
There is huge difference in buy and sell which make difficult for middle investor to buy it.but if you consider by speed it is quite fast and good.kyc is fast as well.withdrawal take 12-48 hrs to the bank in my experience.

Was Zebpay also one of the exchanges where the IT department paid the visit yesterday? What was the outcome of this?
they have visited all exchanges to check if there is no illegal trading going on.as zebpay is the biggest exchange in India right now.ceo of zebpay also gave interview to some new channel.cryptocurrency is gaining momentum in india as it is quite good for digital expansion of country.

I know that crazy price difference of BUY / SELL of Indian Exchanges except CS , but hey only the fool will buy with that price hehe .. whenever i need to buy via Indian exchange i only use CS Cheesy but most time from International exchanges Smiley , But yes i tested first withdrawal with ZebPay and they are on time , i wouldn't say fast which previously CS had but its on time as they mentioned in their site within 1 working day .

That's because Coinsecure is probably the only user-to-user exchange in India. On all other exchanges the buy/sell prices are controlled by exchanges, not users.

Hmm can be but serious ridiculous difference of Unocoin and Zebpay frankly . Do they use different exchange price chart for Buying and Selling . How can be such huge difference i don't understand in these 2 sites , specially Unocoin lol .

That is to discourage arbitrage and day trading.

Arbitrage:
People would grab every chance of buying Bitcoin on any of the exchange for a little lower price and sell it on Unocoin even if the difference is very small like $100. Unocoin would have to closely monitor and update their own prices every minute to prevent this, so the easy solution is to just set the sell price way lower.

Day Trade:
Since Bitcoin is very volatile, people will just keep buying / selling large quantities just to earn some profit on daily basis. This will be difficult for Unocoin because the coins are not exchanged between users directly (like Coinsecure) but it is managed by Unocoin. In such case it is difficult to predict the coin supply and cater to volume demand when necessary. Preventing day trading helps them in gaining a stable trade volume which gives them ability to predict coin supply / demand on daily basis.

TLDR: Hue difference between buy/sell prices is for discouraging arbitrage and day trading because it poses some operational challenges for exchanges which are not user-to-user order books.

i see , thanks for explaining ..

248  Local / India / Re: I-T department conducting surveys at Bitcoin exchanges on: December 15, 2017, 06:20:54 PM
What are your thoughts about the recent surveys conducted by the I-T department at Bitcoin exchanges across the country.  Do you see it as an attempt by the authorities to exercise unnecessary control and undermine the free spirit of Bitcoin.

The surveys were conducted to know the current status of funds underlying with exchanges in the form of btc deposits and fiat. It was just a pre-course for upcoming btc taxation policy and shouldn't be consider as unnecessary control.
Government has cleared its intention that Bitcoin will be consider as Intangible Asset (not money). So as in case, Bitcoin is subject to two types of taxation:
1. Capital Gains: People who made gains due to btc rise have to pay taxes on their gains.
2. Business Taxes: Companies doing business with Bitcoin as their main asset have to pay taxes.

So there is nothing to be fear. It has turned necessary to have a check and taxation on Bitcoin. We have heard a Money Laundering case from an owner of big Indian Exchange few years ago. There maybe more cases!

i think it will fall under capital gain , as described by cleartax
249  Local / India / Re: How to buy altcoins using debit card (India) on: December 15, 2017, 06:19:45 PM
Try Koinex...You can buy following coins on Koinex using Debit cards, credit cards, IMPS or NEFT services.
ETH/INR, XRP/INR, LTC/INR, BCH/INR, GNT/INR, MIOTA/INR, OMG/INR
I don't know the transaction fees they charge coz I haven't used this exchange till now.
BTC/INR

I guess most useless support ever , i am now waiting over 4 days for verification and radio silence from support . OP try using Moneypolo that will accept your Indian Debit card flawlessly but Hard verification needed for it , Video verification and all Smiley
250  Local / India / Re: People pay your Taxes on: December 15, 2017, 12:46:35 PM
I will find a way to convert my digital money into fiat money without transferring to bank account.
I don't want to give my hard earned money away to those greedy peoples, they do and WILL fill their own accounts without considering the Country benefits.

LBC Cash in Hand best way . Meet with your buyer can get cash Tongue

252  Local / India / Re: Radio Silence from Coin Secure on: December 15, 2017, 12:18:02 PM
What happened with their Yes bank account? Did they face any issue?

Not sure but YES Bank removed from Deposit option lately , May be YES Bank don't wanna part of Crypto deposits not sure . But i think it would be nice to have some statement about it too in upcoming CS Email news , so customer's dont match this sudden Bank removal incident with IT Raid incident .

According to the information on the website "They have removed the YES Bank Account".

if you have deposited money in YES BANK ACCOUNT then no one can help you now...

Who told you that , Benson can Smiley , but it may need some time and patience .
255  Local / India / Re: bitcoin-india.org SCAM on: December 15, 2017, 10:22:48 AM
The notice does seem to be like they have scammed us all. I was thinking to invest in this shit site but fortunately I didn't. Their notice is not at all professional. First of all they don't even know the past tense of "raid" . The IT department did conduct a raid on the top Indian exchanges but that didn't make them close their exchanges. The popular Indian exchange Zebpay is till functioning flawlessly without any issues. I think bitcoin-india has used this news to get away with the scam. I feel sorry for the people who had invested in it. I am myself from India and feel pity that they are doing this to their own people.

Yes that's what happened i am sure , they just took advantage of this IT Raid news and ran away with scam .

Edit : They posted new message now , i guess their fleeing staffs came back now and working on IT Part which i am quite shocked they didn't have , Now they also warned to their customers who didn't file ITR .

We are working on our companies Income Tax part, will resume our services once it is clear in couple of days. Also if any of the "Bitcoin India" users has not file their ITR yet, please start working on your individual Tax filings; thank you!

There is two outcome of this change of message ,

1 > they truly working or some serious issue they faced probably by IT Raid

2> They just want to get some time to flee totally and halt customers by saying this new message , so they don't file FIR against them  [ Which is highly likely ] and they get proper time to pack their bags .
256  Local / India / Re: Help required regarding taxes in india on: December 14, 2017, 10:06:58 AM
Guys, kindly help me i have few queries.

I am adding money in dollars from international website and sometime's sell on indian exchanges seeing high price than international sites. So i again take in bank from indian exchange and buy dollars from international website and use to buy crypto currency exchange.

Please tell me one thing is it legible to show the investment in dollars to buy bitcoins right ? or i will have to pay tax on the total money i received from indian exchange.
As far i know you have to keep record of your activity and then in the end of year go to your CA and explain it and you should pay tax on the earning not the whole amount . But i am also excited to know about more details from someone who is dealing with it currently .
257  Local / India / Re: RBI has issued warning against virtual currencies along with ICOs on: December 14, 2017, 09:23:33 AM
it is our money , it is our choice where we invest .. why RBI is over reacting on it ??
tell me one simple thing - we also invest in shares and IPOs of new companies .. if any share or IPOs value go down then who bear the loss ?? only investors .. right ?
so in case of bitcoin too we are investing on our own risk .. we are already ready for any bad news ..
.
instead of giving warnings , RBI should make bitcoin a legal currency ..

RBI is concerned about money laundering, which is impossible to prevent with BTC.

Agree with it , RBI is only concerned about Black Money and Money Laundering which is quite impossible to prevent with any crypto .
258  Local / India / Re: Get ready for fall back in bitcoin on: December 14, 2017, 09:18:59 AM

What are your thoughts about the recent surveys conducted by the I-T department at Bitcoin exchanges across the country.  Do you see it as an attempt by the authorities to exercise unnecessary control and undermine the free spirit of Bitcoin.

I would say its good move , the companies has proper registration and validation will not have to worry , as IT dept. looking for Black money holders who parking huge amount of money in BTC to hide it , they scrutinize exchange that's good , catch the culprits who evading tax and clean the rest . Its their Job to find out the tax evaders so they did raid , in my opinion there nothing to worry about if you are clean and filing return for your investments .
260  Local / India / Re: bitcoin-india.org SCAM on: December 14, 2017, 09:14:05 AM
