Don't forget that you have to take into account volume! Can you really draw a conclusion about how most people value their XEM when the total volume for the last 24 hours is just over 1% ?? I think most of today's volume is bots,investors and some impatient people that take the opportunity to sell which may in fact be based on very limited knowledge of NEM for everyone who's selling. All talk no action. |

I get somewhere around 5k views in the first 24 hours (Most are secondary views from search engines and bots and such...) You're kidding. |

Some exciting promising projects concerning NEM, I agree the only way to get past this specualtive phase (which almost all coins are in) is to have real uses/users and real companies building and developing out on the NEM platform. Coin gets going nowhere, and they blame the "trolls" and then nothing, then we see a drop in price and "Just worry about development not price!" then we see no development, then empty promises, then delisting, and they STILL say "Don;t worry about the delisting they just don't know our worth" or my favorite" it was too early to list..." hahahaha This coin is headed the same direction. in my opinion the weakest point of NEM is the PR part
u sit here on a goldmine and tell nobody and wonder why noone care about it......
I guess no one is going to argue with you that PR is the weak part. However, if you have ideas to get some attention I am shure they will be more than welcome! when you put in business that at first that is always bought that you have to sell and then you start putting in advertizing. advertizing - main source expenses of any business. at large companies check for advertizing company reaches and to 50% of all profit. all this says that it is necessary to put in advertizing xem still. i suggest to create advertizing fund where those who bought xem of a coin will direct coins on advertizing company which has to go continuously and constantly. i hope xem to see on television. you want without putting anything in advertizing to get high profit? so doesn't happen. advertizing- main source of expenses in any business. i suggest to begin collecting coins on the advertizing xem. Us original investors already put into this fund and look wherwe it got us haha. |

First of all BTC will not crash, and if that happen for any crazy reason it will take all alt coins down too. You shouldn't wish cash flaw from other cryptos negative events. On the contrary all cryptos need more users. The more users join the crypto world the more wealthy all cryptos would be. At this moment the interest in crypto currencies and platforms is extremely low. This will change within the coming 5 years. The more BTC gets popular the more alt crypto currencies and block chain technology platforms would gain more user base.
In the same manner, the more users use NXT the more users will more likely use NEM too. The more developers experience Ethereum platform the more developers would develop NEM Dapps.
We should be realistic. NEM wouldn't get popular soon. This is a very very long term project. It would take at least 5 years for NEM to gain the attention of its core future users. NEM is building economy for the future not for today.
What I personally like about the NEM project is that it solves almost all the major problems in all previously released cryptos including NXT and BTC, advancing features in all directions, advancing security features, enabling flexibility for future development, very efficient and green for the environment. NEM is indeed a block chain technology innovation with great unlimited potentials.
In five years this tech will be well surpassed.You are digging your own hole haha./ |

In other words, no one should believe whatever he is posting about future of nem. He has either no clue, or he is being super optimistic, or he is trolling, according to you. I see lots of talk about progress but nothing substantial has actually been done. Namespaces and Mosaic is a pretty far on the testnet and that is a big progress in my opinion. BTC is sliding, NEM is slipping right with it. I know you don;t like to talk about value but this is A C U R R E N C Y... haha 100 XEM= $0.01 USD and going down. All those who invested are losing, and people will say it is a long term investment, and those are either echoing the losers of yesterday or are new to the crypto game.  BTC is a currency, but it tries to keep up with the new high tech blockchain platform solutions which are out there and that fails. Thats like tuning an old car again and again and again... NEM is no currency, it is a platform and its features are still in development. XEM (the currency) is one small part of NEM. And yes, value of XEM is low right now, because development is ongoing and not done yet. People don't invest too much if stuff is not done yet, understandable. It takes time, NEM is a long term project, everybody who is into NEM knows that. At the rate we are going I estimate NEM will be 50 sats or more around.... 2077 HODL EVERYONE! |

You'ld be pretty stupid to be still owning NEM in 2017 and nothing from Makoto and Rockethead has yet to come out. There is no user adoption - 10 addresses a week isn't good enough. I would be satisfied if it was able to hit 100 a month. It should even be a goal or maybe even a contest to see if NEM could get 100 new addresses after a month. Once you can hit 100 then you can raise the goalpost. Makoto and Rockethead have never really published any informatics about their stuff in awhile. The other day I was told AltNemo has a beautiful website and a lot of juicy info but that website was built back in 2014. Yeah you didn't even mention volume... well guess there is nothing to mention. haha |

Crashing because we can't get clear answers from NEM team. No one is adopting or using NEM. http://blockexplore.in/search/richlist/There is only 2148 addresses in NEM with more than 1 XEM. In 2014 there was 3000 stakeholders. Although socks were purged, how come NEM doesn't have more than 3000 addresses? How could NEM after launch be smaller than before launch? Something went wrong. The only solution for NEM is to crash the capitalization, let people consolidate and the consolidators will work harder than people sitting around waiting to be made rich. NEM developers are sitting on a 71% premine. Dump the premine. No one is adopting or using NEM. Exactly. ANd until then we will continue to crash and burn. Talk is cheap. |

It's easy to buy high and pump & dump when you are trading with other people's money. NEM did 0/3. NXT and BTS did 1/3 with Poloniex. If we got NEM added to margin trading and lending on Poloniex then capitalization and volume would shoot up but this would only benefit short term investors who would dump the following week(s). Nor is it necessary as Makoto has venture funding. Roger Ver is a well publicized successful investor in Bitcoin and yet he only ever had 0.1% to 0.2% of the eventual 21 million Bitcoins in circulation. You can buy 0.1% of NEM for only 4 BTC and 0.2% for 8 BTC. 4 BTC and 8 BTC is $1000 - $2000. To buy the same percentages in the other 2.0 projects is $10,000 - $20,000 (NXT and BTS) and $150,000 - $300,000 (ETH). These are approximations and not exact numbers Only thing cheaper than XEM is maybe Qora, Crypti and NODE and I already own at least 0.1% of those three projects. nice analysis "Long Term" investor sounds much better than "Bagholder." I had a dream today about NEM I can't share but if it becomes reality I have to buy big now! Nem is going no where because of "marketers" or whar are they called. So many excuses, delays, weak marketing,almost no PR at all,no innovation and developement in last few months,devs dont accept the help offered.by the community,i mean they have to be more open minded Thats why nem woth nothing. We need a radical change. No. There is financial world crisis (grexit, china stock market bubble). Also Vitalik's baby born, Ethereum sucks out all oxygen from second generation cryptocurrency family. There is no room for NEM growth. Nem has to do nothing with world financial crisis. Just a limited number of persons know about it. 1-2k person isn't enough to make a "coin" grow or spread. NEM has to be much more mainstream to get in a such a financial layer. 1-2k person??? I see maybe 7 people posting in this thread. I am going to say maybe 300-500 people actually care this coin exists. |
