2401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: March 09, 2016, 12:44:01 PM
I think there is nothing safe in gambling as gambling is risk taking game so there is always risk in gambling.

Yup! Risk is a risk and gambling is one of the risk taking on your bitcoin wallet, but on most part of gambling it can also give a lot of BTC when your lucky enough to win the game why not try it but just be a little cautious when playing.
Right. Gambling is the other name of risk and there is always some chance to loose but we can avoid loosing by playing cleverly. In sports betting we can win more than loose. Always bet on the team and player which you know very well.

Yup! certainly sports betting is the safest gambling game ever but like you said sometime it is too deceiving sometimes because you can also loss with it, but at least you had a chance in winning too.

i agree that sports betting is safer than many other traditional games to gamble on but i think some games like Poker which are based on skills are the safest, even safer than sports betting. because when you gamble on sports you are still relying on information and luck but in poker you can rely on some skills too.
2402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLL - Which crypto do you feel is the biggest "scam"? - BE HONEST PLEASE on: March 09, 2016, 12:40:06 PM
i don't totally like ETH but i wouldn't go as far as calling it scam. there are a lot of other coins out there that are scaming people.

ETH is just an altcoin with a lot of hype, there is nothing extraordinary about it, it has some shiny features and it was pumped at a good time (when bitcoin has some troubles with block size and attacks and FUDs)
2403  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 BTC = 1000$ in 2016 on: March 09, 2016, 12:35:17 PM
Bitcoin will be not that high in 2016. It will take a long time so that will be a long time to will it rise.
But you never know what will happen later in the future. And there is also a possibility that the value also can be down.

a couple of years ago there were people who said "bitcoin will not go above $1" and now look where we are sitting at.

the funny thing is all those topics are available since we are on a forum and you can look for them.
2404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [SOLVED] Bitcoin puzzle [13/14] in address 3DfD6K4raTMZGrdMP69RRo9EUTLbAanQWX on: March 09, 2016, 12:30:31 PM
This puzzle is created when bitcoin is still at $1200 i think, considering how low these rewards are Wink
But because no one has cracked the code until now im just gonna assume that this puzzle is unsolveable and only the owner could open it

wow, it sounds like one of those pirate treasure maps that are lost and you go treasure hunting after hundreds of years for gold (pirates of Caribbean vibe)

@amaclin
come share with us how it was solved
2405  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: March 09, 2016, 12:25:52 PM
I would go for a bitcoin wallet because they are much safer in my eyes and its the fact that they are way more secured.
Also the point is with a bitcoin wallet [/b]your are the one that is controlling your money and no one else.

if you store all your coins offline yes. but a lot people are storing their coins in an online wallet service as blockchain.info or on exchanges. that's basically worse than storing your money in your bank account. and they keep thinking it's a very safe method to store their coins. yeah right. 1 bitcoin stored offline in your own control is worth more than 2 bitcoins stored online.

we are all needing banks for our money needs. so there is no denying that we all have bank accounts but i prefer to have bitcoin as all of my money and only spend bitcoin on everything.
and even if there is bank that accepts bitcoin and pays profit like a regular bank that would be so much better.
2406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What "facts" you heard about Bitcoin is not true? on: March 09, 2016, 12:17:57 PM
i don't think you can call this facts but i have heard a lot of FUD over the years about bitcoin which is obviously not true.

the biggest one which we all hear once every two weeks is about bitcoin is dead, which makes the obituaries number over a thousand i suppose.
2407  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptsy remains the "best rated" Exchange afterall. on: March 09, 2016, 12:13:59 PM
that is why i have never liked cointelegraph, they set cryptsy at the top with negative trust and some of the reputable exchangers aren't even mentioned on the list
2408  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese are beginning to pile into BTC again, see huobi prices on: March 08, 2016, 05:19:20 AM
They dont care about Bitcoin. The primary goal here is to make more chinese yuan. Fiat is king till it is not.

i'll be happy to see them pump bitcoin because it will be full of benefits for us and for bitcoin. the higher price will give us all a good profit and will also bring a lot of other people's attention to bitcoin.
2409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports Bet trading! on: March 08, 2016, 05:14:39 AM
i don't like adding another person in the middle of my bets.

how much will they charge as fee for doing your bidding?

besides you can always use a VPN or even TOR for free to access any website that is blocked.
2410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest gambling victory on: March 08, 2016, 05:10:39 AM
there is a reason why there are so many negative losing stories about gambling. it is gambling after all, only a handful of players will win and the rest are just losing and if they win they will win a small amount which is not worth posting a topic about.
2411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people use so many Bitcoin wallets? on: March 08, 2016, 05:02:34 AM
I think using many bitcoin wallets is for security and if you had 1 wallet only has disadvantage
ex. When you only have 1 wallet and  got hack and all your funds are there so there will no left  for you instead if you  have 2 or 3 more wallets you can divide your funds in there
Security is the main purpose behind the use of many Bitcoin wallets. Yes it is very risky to collect all of your bitcoins in a single wallet because anything can happen so most of the bitcoiners use more than one wallet so that they can divide their Bitcoins which can increase the security of their coins. Using more wallets is a great way to secure your money.

My experience, my blockchain, stellar wallet (altcoin) , exchanger wallet, get hacked but my xapo wallet still safe. now im use more wallet to save my bitcoin, blockhain, xapo, coinbase, paperwallet, block.io, electrum, mycellium.

why did they get hacked? was it a weak password or malware infection like key logger?

i think only one or two wallet(s) is enough. one offline as cold storage and one online as a hot wallet. then there is no way they get hacked!
2412  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] "The 2016 Miss Bitcoin Pageant" - putting crypto into the mainstream media on: March 08, 2016, 04:56:11 AM
hmm, this looks interesting but there is not enough information about the event!
and also maybe it is just me but i don't understand how it is going to promote bitcoin (or crypto) are they going to get paid in bitcoin or are they gonna wear bitcoin as bikini Smiley
2413  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never reach $700 again on: March 08, 2016, 04:52:14 AM
what i see is a lot of sell happening which pushed the price back below $400 but that pressure was not even big enough to keep it below that and it is already $421 again right now. that is what i call big demand.
2414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the maximum amount you keep at a single exchange on: March 08, 2016, 04:48:42 AM
That entirely depends on your risk taking capability, that defers from person to person.

You can put your money in old and trusted exchanges like C-cex and Yobit as they are secured.

If you wish to test new exchanges, then it is not advisable to keep high amount. I usually keep around $250 in C-cex and little less in yobit.

you named two of the not so popular exchangers for keeping money!!
besides YOBIT has always have problems with payment to its users, just look at the services discussion board and you will see how many people are waiting for withdrawals.
2415  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaigns: Worth The Time? on: March 08, 2016, 04:46:11 AM
i think it is worth the time if you are posting on the forum even without a signature. then you are doing a regular thing but getting paid for that. but if you only post to get paid it is a low payment then.
2416  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: March 07, 2016, 04:52:00 PM
The best thing that you can do in my opinion is by using the bitcoin to motivate the woman by selling famous brands online.
They will get attracted for sure, because they want to have some items and you have to force them to only use the bitcoin as a payments.

i think in this case there is not difference between men and women because if anybody is using bitcoin finds a place that sells goods he or she wants will definitely use it but in order to attract them there should be some sort of discount to make it more attractive.
2417  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: March 07, 2016, 04:48:17 PM
Best strategy is to have patience. You need to wait for a low price and sell after this with a high price.

well said.
waiting for that moment and especially finding that moment in a market when the price is at its lowest and then buying then and there is really an skill which is hard to come by.
2418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: March 07, 2016, 04:42:31 PM
i look at Martingale method as a way to ensure profit.
when you set up a multiplier and a fixed amount to raise after each loss it means that you guarantee that if you win after a set amounts of rolls, then you make a profit out of it.
but that is only if you win which is not going to be always.
2419  Economy / Gambling / Re: Running my SatoshiMines bot live! ( 8+ hours running ) on: March 07, 2016, 04:37:15 PM
Hello,

I don't know why, but the join.me shows that you balance is 0.0 and u have many profit, how is that possible without balance?
Edit: I figured it out, u play for free. Please play with 0.01btc and see what happens.

I am sure that if u play for free, that u win more then when u play for real money, so the generated stats are faked, not by u, but by the site.

i agree.
i am more interested to see some money in action even if it is small amount in each bet but i would like to see at least some satoshies move around. 0 is boring!
2420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH being dumped now! on: March 07, 2016, 04:34:31 PM
i was expecting a dump for ETH, it is obvious that after any pump especially a very huge pump there is going to be an inevitable dump on the way.

but i am monitoring to see if ETH can pick up again or keeps going down
