Money pak trader seems legit to me. I am the person who initiated the bet between BCB and daniel about money pack being reversible. I was told by BCB that is was reversed and i honored the bet for 2 btc to daniel. i did put the caveat that BCB had to tell them it was his money pak, I do not know if that was followed through with or not. i can also verify that danieldaniel is a slanderer. He has also been banned from our page because of defamation. Daniel has apologized to me for treating me unfair and has removed his negative rating other members have not. I initiated the bet to see if I could treat money pak as cash. I found that you can not, but the reason to not use money pak is that the card can be marked stolen then you load it and have tied yourself to a crime. If you accepted a few stolen one especially if they are over 1000 you could get in serious trouble. MPT never said he was a drug dealer daniel, stop being a drama queen.

When I say bet that is not exactly accurate daniel never took me up on the bet neither did anyone else. No one was willing to risk their capital to see if it was reversible. So basically I told daniel I would pay him to get one reversed for my knowledge and the communities knowledge. I did not need to know if it was reversible if it wasnt yours MPT already told me that. I need to know if you said it was your money pak was it reversable.

Me to BCB:  "did you tell greendot it was your moneypak?"
BCB:  "No.  I could have pushed harder, but didn't want to get danieldaniel in trouble."

Lots of people have ratings over 150 on OTC.  Does this mean I would trust them with half a million like those idiots did with pirate?  LOL.  The web of trust is just an indicator, not proof that someone won't run with $500k USD.  I only verified it is not a scam in that he actually had a $300 moneypak to load and did not immediately phone GreenDot to dispute.  I could care less if he disputes now as there is no money left on the card.

Since when is "money laundering" with bitcoins bad behavior on OTC deserving a -5 rating daniel?  This has nothing to do with you.  There are people who openly mix coins.  Do they deserve -5's?  I have mixed coins before.  Do I deserve -5?

Shit so the truth comes out god damn truth it just will not stay hidden. So I was the one scammed. BCB didnt tell him it was his money pak. When the bet was made I said I would honor it if BCB said it was his. You asshole draging my name thought the mud and you are the one scamming daniel!

Give the money back to the donors at 1% they can sell the coins at 4% and make money it would give the forum liquidity and a easy source of fiat to spend on the site. Loans could be called back in at anytime if unexpected expenses arise. It would be completely decentralized and the members who donated could pledge the coins to be owned by the forum. The donaters could make money off the coins they hold for the forum and the forum could grow the pool of coins and cash. If the people who donated the coins get them back they are just holding coins that were theirs to begin with. If they pledge the coins to the forum and then wont return them as funds are needed then they could be blocked from the forum. This is a good idea just needs some refinement. I want to know what the big guy thinks? theymos what do you think?

Okay I understand but there has to be a rehabilitation program. If people rip me off then make good they go into probation after a time limit the negative rating would be removed. I would say 7 years.
2406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My response to the community on: February 07, 2013, 01:59:38 AM
the people who took Mathews bets have some liability in this matter as well. If you let someone get into a hole owing to you when you know that they have little chance of making good on their bet you share some of the risk. This is just like the banks loaning on homes to buyers they know couldn't pay. I am not in favor of removing Mathews scammer X's. I am in favor of suspending part of the debt the debtors are responsible for the debt too and should pay some of the cost.

I do not believe moderators are the answer. What is the exact problem on reddit? Is it scamming?

I have 5 coins stuck on a hard drive. I cleaned out the computer with compressed air and it quit working. I was told that the drive is good just the motherboard was bad.

Really, I am the one looking scammy. I dont want the coins, others have been drooling over the idea. I dont care. Why wouldnt he want to lend the coins out to the people who donated the coin in the first place. Why wouldnt he want to make money off the fund not lose it to you crooks. Trying to charge fees to hold the peoples donated money and i am the crook.

You're probably the guy who posted the more in that thread and you really, really don't fit the profile theymos is looking for. What are you looking to gain here?

Nothing I am not in this for me. I just want the money used properly not given to people who happen to have coins under their name. The money should be used for the improvement of the community. I was thinking of donating, but not if that is where it is going to friends the forum host. If I donate it is to grow the community not to line the pockets of an insiders club.

I think I might have a good suggestion on what to do with the forums funds. Why not set up a program where there is a communal pool of coins that members can borrow coins from with limits of course. Say you take the funds and do micro loans with a small interest rate available to all members of the community in good standing. Then have the limits raised for members with good credit. I say allow people to borrow the amount that they have contributed to the fund ,but let everyone in at a certain level. For example if you borrowed 10 and paid back 11 (or the equivalent in usd) then your limit would be raised to 11. The forums money can work for everyone. Before you trash my suggestion or say it is not possible ask yourself how it would be possible. Suggestions are welcome

No one like this? You are all talking about how much fees you will take ( this is donated right?) This would be the most decentralized solution and the fund would grow not shrink. If you are worried about trust this is the best way to hedge against lost and theft. With no risk. If you only lend what has been paid in if someone walks they can only take what they put in.

I dont want to be picked you would have to be stupid to want to hold that money, unless you are going to use it for something? Just making suggestions about how to store the money in a safe and transparent manor.
2416  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for people to store some of the forum's money on: February 06, 2013, 09:43:18 PM
Wrong buddy I gave all of my information up, you just though I was a Liar you were wrong. Everything I said was and is true. I told the investigation guy that I would have paid him to tell the community that i was legit, just so i didnt have to go through all of the games you guys play.

Ya companies do it but they dont release the information into the densest population of scammers on the internet.

You are right no one wants to go get the money, but the threat that you can keeps most people honest. If 500 coins where stolen from me i would go after the guy who took them.  Smiley

This post has been a bizarre post to me. I know I am the new kid, but it freaks me out to see you just taking the forums money and passing it out to your friends. I know you are highly respected but still a problem if you ask me(which I know no one is). The other things that seem to be major problems is talk of not requiring a 100% reserve requirement!? People saying that they would take a holding fee. wtf? I had recommended to the guy who gave out all of my information start a service verifying people who wanted the community to know who they are. I would recommend that anyone who holds community funds should go through a verification process. Name, Address, Line of Work, criminal record, online stores, business, maybe next of kin? basically release all of you information. I have done that to show I am who i say I am and if i f@#$ you over you know where to come to get your money.  Smiley

1. Free speech
5. No NSFW content

Please read 5, then read 1, then read 5, then read 1 and tell me if you see a problem.

Can I say "fat cock" if I present it in a calm and polite manner?

I like Alex A+. There needs to be a place for people to say what ever they want. Then there needs to be a place that is women and young person friendly. The newbie forum would be a excellent place for full rule enforcement the trading forum not so much. If you can let the people know clearly what kind of room their in they will generally self regulate the content. If we develop and area for "serious" transactions that is clearly marked with expected behavior clearly posted then you wont have to spend so much time micromanaging.
