1788  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Load your debit card with MP's, Currently paying 5% more USD-MPs for BTC on: April 24, 2013, 12:08:35 AM
Whoa shit congratulations took long enough Smiley did you get it worked out with tradefortress? or did someone else finish it up for you? I transfered some btc to your site I hope all the bugs are worked out. I know you really prefer torchat but is painfully slow for me. I left you a PM with my phone number feel free to give me a call. I would like to start being a regular btc provider and talk to you about a way to get you much cheaper coins. Do you seriously pay 9 percent above spot price?
1789  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lets Kill this Paypal Reversible Scam! Look here! on: April 23, 2013, 11:05:36 PM
The best way to avoid a charge backs is to establish the identity of your buyer and confirm that they are the owner of the account. Then put limits in place and raise them slowly.

I confirm identity several ways, with my system email, facebook, paypal, location, name, Ip address must all match.
The best way is to get your buyer to up load a picture Id and check it against their PP account.

I have tons of other tips but if you follow these you will prevent 99.98 percent of scammers and charge backs

I insure my transactions buy charging 6 percent above spot and raising limits slowly that way if a buyer charges back it will be partly profit form selling to them.

1792  Economy / Trading Discussion / Does anyone still doubt that bitcoins are bullshit? on: April 23, 2013, 10:32:05 PM
Just another example of a beautiful idea with poor execution. Look everyone I love digital currency, shit I am all in on digital currency, but I do think that is important to educate people about what the are really investing in. This is a excerpt from an article on zerohedge. Here is a link to the whole article  http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2013-04-12/guest-post-11-economic-crashes-are-happening-right-now

 #1 Bitcoins

As I write this, the price of Bitcoins has fallen more than 70 percent from where it was on Wednesday.  This is one of the reasons why I have never recommended Bitcoins to anyone.  Yes, alternative currencies are a good thing, but there are a lot of big problems with Bitcoins.  Why would anyone want to invest in a currency that could lose 70 percent of its purchasing power in just two days?  Why would anyone want to invest in a currency where a single person can arbitrarily decide to suspend trading in that currency at any time?

An article by Mike Adams of Natural News described some of the things that we have learned about Bitcoins this week...

#1) The bitcoin infrastructure cannot handle a selloff. Once the rush for the exits gains momentum, you will not be able to get out. Only those who sell early will be able to exit the market.

#2) The bitcoin infrastructure is subject to the whims of just one person running MTGox who can arbitrarily decide to shut it down whenever he thinks the market needs a "cooling period." This is nearly equivalent to a financial dictatorship where one person calls the shots.

#3) Every piece of bad news will be "spun" by exchanges like MTGox into good-sounding news. As bitcoin was crashing yesterday by 60% in value in mere hours, MTGox announced it was a "victim of our own success!" So while bitcoin holders watched $1 billion in market valuation evaporate, MTGox called it a success. Gee, then what would you call it when bitcoin loses 99%? A "raging" success?
#2 Gold

Guys if you are new to this market dont believe the hype. These are just digits, there are lots of digits out there. How many digits are there? YAYa I know there are only so many of these digits but LTC, PPC, NMC, you can use all of these digits to get those digits.

The root problem with bitcoin is that it incentives people to act like a bunch of trolls hoarding away a good idea, as soon as a coin comes out that incentives sharing and not being a dick face, then bitcoin will be dead! So hold you bitcoins as a retirement plan if you want and hold on to those digits till it goes to 0
1793  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lets Kill this Paypal Reversible Scam! Look here! on: April 23, 2013, 10:01:17 PM
you sound like a cry baby. You are selling an item that they cant verify. Let the seller beware. Oh boohoo paypal wont insure my transactions. I insure my own transactions for digital items. If you know how to trade when the transaction isnt insured then you will have no problem.

All it boils down to is "let the seller beware"

I should have clarified I have been selling coins for the last 11 months I have been using paypal for 5 or 6 years
1794  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTS BTC for Paypal on: April 23, 2013, 09:34:11 PM

The forum is all a bunch of retards when it comes to paypal I sell for paypal everyday and have for 11 months and have sold tons of coins on ebay too. It is VERY VERY easy to get fucked, but I have had a total of 2 charge backs both for small amounts. If you do it right you can sell for paypal without a bunch of bullshit. Everyone here hates on it and hates on it and this and that, but I like paypal it is my prefered payment method it is not 100 percent but the way I do it fucking works!

Look at the source when these hero members tell you paypal is the devil, they have a financial incentive to keep people with limited access to coins. There is a safety concern but just be diligent and learn the risks, then but a process in place that prevents them.

Well we see business a little different, but you are right if I started doing large volumes it could become a problem, but I already have that angle covered Grin

1799  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips buying BTC with paypal from high rep people? on: April 23, 2013, 04:12:35 PM
Please anyone who wants call paypal and tell them I am selling btc and ltc tell them my name is chris north and my ebay store is northoutbaords. I have talked to then at least 25 times about selling coins, they dont give a shit. When I sell coins paypal gets a cut. I have been threatened countless times with this, I'm going to call paypal and tell them you are doing shit, they dont care.
I will honer all of my trades and payments no matter what happens to my paypal or bank account. I will put up my mining rigs as collateral on my trades if you deal with me you won't get screwed no matter what!

Man what a bunch of assholes around here, steamboat...your a dick..I am reputable and yes holding the funds for 48 hours is an excellent way to hedge against the risk of hacked accounts. it will not be full proof by a long shot but paypal does normally catch scammers with in 48 hours.
