Thank you for sharing. I never seen the source code of the Bitcoin client v0.1.0 before. I found there the first logo of Bitcoin designed personally by Satoshi Nakamoto:  The dates of the files are 7 January 2009 1:00. I think that Satoshi Nakamoto changed these dates by another application, but the dates of the directories were not modified on Windows. Respect to Satoshi Nakamoto for the great work! |

It seems that the people want to explain the current global falling on the crypto exchange markets in such a way. Now Bitcoin -10%, ostensibly the hackers are guilty.  I think it is just a temporary correction. Some investors decided to exit to fiat currency. Probably, they know the reason, why. Maybe, we are expecting a big fall on the traditional fund markets in the near future? |

Have lost so much money on coins that doesn't work well for me. I know I'm being impatient and ignorant this maybe a good time to find some insight and good answers on how to get better
I think you need a guru which will teach and instruct you how to trade correctly and gain a profits. Really, the crypto exchange markets are hardly predictable, but the general direction can be figured out. I guess that the current global falling is just a temporary correction and the crypto currencies will grow in the one week, therefore do not fix the looses. |

It seems like a spam message via PM. Actually, if your friend wants to know about trading, it can learn from any trader for free, why not. I think that this "spammer" wants to attract your friend on the crypto exchange markets, but he won't teach him very "deeply", just basic actions and exercises with no withdrawal of money from account. |

Если добавляют в словари, то 100% должен расти) А то представь, что через 5 лет всё сдуется биток лопнет все лопнет. Дети в школе словарь будут читать и спрашивать а че такое биток, где он и им будут отвечать, что вот было дело раньше, сейчас его уже нет Такого допустить нельзя, поэтому если в словаре есть, то значит никуда не лопнет и будет только рост)) Ну-ну, в словарях тоже есть слова "аудиокассета", "магнитофон". Сейчас даже многие не знают, что такое изображено на кнопке "Сохранить". А ведь это широко распространённая в определённое время дискета 1.44 мегабайт!  Но Bitcoin, да и вообще криптовалюты и токены, - это, несомненно, надолго, так как связано с финансами.  |

Нашли повод выйти из флета . Новичков торгующих в паре фиат/бтс и не созревших на выход из неё, в очередной раз отнимут всё до копейки. Но на новичках рынок держится, сейчас новички разочаруются и выйдут все в фиат и всё рухнет нафиг. Именно этого киты и ждут, чтобы перезакупиться по низкой цене. Многие зашли в Bitcoin на уровнях $13000 и холдят до сих пор, не желая продавать в убыток. Рано или поздно нервы "хомяков" не выдержат, и они сольют свои монеты, но краха цены не будет, опять будет перезакуп на низких уровнях. |

На форуме и русской, и в английской ветках всё больше разочарований насчёт NEO. Монета падает сильнее рынка. По-моему, разработчикам следует организовать пару ICO на блокчейне NEO, чтобы эта монета пропагандировалась в криптосообществе. Вот, в баунти-треде даже на Cardano есть минимум одно ICO! А холдеры NEO, наоборот, недавно устроили аирдроп ONT, и теперь эти средства оказались на криптовалютных рынках, ещё больше снижая цену NEO.  |

I assume you have few coins...But what is your favorite? the one you hold no mater what? The one that make you smile when you go to work or sit with friends? how many have you got? Mine is NEO..I have 10 NEOS...I invested a bit late...I can't sell that one...what is yours? In spite of the current falling of this coin, NEO is a very promising crypto currency. It is a platform for tokens like Ethereum or Cardano. I think NEO should start to attract some ICOs in order to be widely promoted in the crypto community. But the developers arranged airdrop ONT, and those money appeared on the crypto exchange markets decreasing the price of NEO more and more. |

I have read the white paper. I seems that this paper merely promotes the Dash network. Anyway, I liked the idea of the "flow scrip" and the proper escrow mechanism. But I think the master pools mentioned in the white paper are not very good solution in general, because they can be compromised. |

I think that Ripple already played its game. I remember how fast this coin of banks growed in December 2017 and Ripple has overtaken Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum. To be honest, I worried about the dethroning of Bitcoin at this time. Then there were bad news about this "crypto currency" and the price of Ripple was decreased. Bitcoin stayed being a "king"! |

Главное - способность к адаптации и быть в курсе событий. Условия меняются, середнячки догоняют лидеров. Не следует держаться одной стратегии долгое время, нужно выбирать методы в зависимости от текущих обстоятельств в мировой экономике и политике.

Раз уж тема ушла в глубокий оффтоп и даже немного затронула политику, то можно ещё упомянуть, например, протокол DAG, на котором работает монета IOTA. Да, там нет PoW, нет PoS, алгоритм чем-то похож на обсуждаемый вопрос. Но когда хакеры начали разными способами намерено нарушать консенсус среди узлов, всё в итоге пришло к созданию доверительных нод и, по сути, централизации сети.

Так этот сишный скрипт как раз для SHA256, посмотрите код. По-моему, там нужно ещё зависимости для криптографии ECDSA прорулить. |

Back when Bitcoin started i feel people invested, because there believed in it, and wanted to see it change the world.
Now days i feel people only look at it as a way to make money, and don't really care about the future of it.
Whats peoples thoughts?
I think that people bought Bitcoins a years ago as an investment too. Yes, the blockchain technology based on the proof-of-work algorithm is very strong, but this is the reason why people believe in it and keep their money in the "cold" Bitcoin-wallets. |

As for the Lightning protocol, I'm willing to predict it'll prove to be vulnerable to DoS attacks in it's current incarnation, both at the P2P and blockchain level.
While bad politics, focusing on centralized hub-and-spoke payment channels first would have been much simpler. I think that if The Lightning Network will be enough decentralized, the DoS attacks will be ineffective. The focusing on the huge "banking-hubs" is not a properly way for decentralized Bitcoin. Anyway, the "sidechain" technologies are needed right now to decrease the current Bitcoin-transaction count which are made, for example, by the big crypto exchange markets, and as a result to reduce transaction fees. Now they can create their own channels for payments. I agree that it is necessary to develop a federated sidechains, The Fantom Network and other solutions outside of the blockchain of Bitcoin. The Lightning Network is in the first stage and is growing yet. |
