2426  Economy / Gambling / Re: 24 Bitcoin Gambling sites 'gone' in less then 1 year! on: April 24, 2014, 07:50:32 AM
I'm sure the 'Ponzi' sites list will be longer than this one.
And where have all 'Bitcoin Ponzi' threads gone btw? The forum was flooding with them a few weeks ago.

He then thought about how Bitcoin could be beneficial to his underworld business and soon he came up with a dark marketplace and called it 'Silk Route'

But shouldn't the milk taste different when the coconut had fungus - without opening the shell? I mean you could feel something unusual while drinking it, right?

2434  Economy / Services / Re: I quit the bitcoin accepting wuala services they suck on: April 23, 2014, 11:04:06 AM
I used to use Wuala for soem backup stuff but my experience was similar to you. What's worse, the upload process was on hiccups every now-and-then despite of my strong and steady internet connection.

I've now switched to Mega. Check it out, it has 50GB free space, is encrypted and has an outstanding sync app. I am very impressed by it, synced my 8 GB data in couple of ours.

the deep blue sea - like!

The only scene I like from that movie is when the shark eats Samuel Jackson

Do you not like Samuel L Jackson or something?

I like him, but there was nothing else exciting in the movie IMO

My blockchain address is 1FtAc2GNg6NhaFjgAhgsU7BVTxRYbZrmTP

and the one in which my coins where transfer is this
1EJcTLZNfy9HALtgovGuUJbLi1ERmoo6uZ

hash :

Sad

Not the entire balance was transferred, only 0.01417377 BTC. Remaining 0.00160802  BTC was sent back to your wallet as 'change'.
Are you sure you didn't send this yourself? Because if someone was stealing your coins, he would transfer all of it, not partial amount.

And so he wondered if it was good or bad that he had murdered his wife. If he hadn't, he would have never met this gorgeous woman.
2439  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unconfirmed Ttransaction Blockchain. please help!! on: April 23, 2014, 09:35:30 AM
Most transaction without a fee generally require longer time to confirm, but eventually they will get through.
You may need to wait a couple of days and it will pass.
2440  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Offline wallet generation ? on: April 23, 2014, 09:29:56 AM

Unless of course BadBIOS is real and it sends the wallet to a internet connected computer and uploads it to the creator. Then you wouldn't be safe anyway.

So to be 100% safe one must store it on an offline computer, in a bank-grade safe that is placed in a an underground nuclear bunker far away from civilization, maybe on Mars.

But even then there's the 0.00000000001 % risk that someone would generate the exact same address as you and steal all your bitcoins.  Cry

Essentially, yes.
