Unlike fiat of yore backed by gold or promises of State order, the knowledge age ...

Bro, fiat is not backed by gold.  By definition.
Welcome to the age of knowledge!
2424  Economy / Speculation / Re: What to expect from bitcoin in December 2014? on: December 22, 2014, 01:40:54 PM
Hi guys.

Today bitcoin value is $356.12 (22/Nov/2014)

I have 3 bitcoins and need $1340 for last days of December, what to do?

My options.

A) Keep the bitcoins, the price will go up!
B) Invest in other coins, Doge and LiteCoin will go up!
C) Sell that 3 btc and take that $1050 and try to earn 1 btc to get that $300.

Im of the idea "If price goes down, get more coins", but if you have a "Option D)" share it please  Wink

Now you need to earn $360 Sad

now i have 3.35 btc but have 6 more months to pay the loan. I will hold, get more btc and wait the price goes up.

Lol, you're "investing" in BTC with borrowed money?  This is gonna end well Roll Eyes
2425  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 22, 2014, 01:38:00 PM
Really? Who sells 2K coins at market at once like that? The only purpose of that is to try and push the price down.

Really?  If it's so obvious, how can it possibly fool anyone?

Lamb gives me diarrhea.

Eating out of the trash again?  You sound a bit piqued...

Huge dump on Bitstamp..

Nah brah, it's the market coiling like a spring, like a cobra getting ready to strike!  Everything's fine, just hodl.

The current system is killing so many people that most other system based of free choice should be better.

"The current system is killing so many people" compared to what?  Where do you get this nonsense?

The current system of fiat currencies, big government and big armies induce a lot of murders and suffering. period. I am pointing out that other systems should not be as harmful if they involve free choice, free market and less coercion.

D00d, "a lot" is a relative term.  A lot of people die on the operating table, doesn't mean that fewer would die if doctors didn't exist.
I know you like to think that your reduced circumstances are not your fault, that eVol forces have conspired to keep you down, but it just ain't true, bro.  You're simply not very good at living.
Get good & stop acting like a petulant child.

Last I checked it was Bulgarian Sad

No, it is not, don't believe everything you see on the internet. Russian ops, servers around the world, cyprus and bulgaria at one point but it definitely has nothing bulgarian in it.

Is it even registered anywhere?  Can't find any info on the site.

The metric system started in europe.

Bulshit.  It was invented by Noah Metrec, an illiterate French Canadian.

Good morning, scientists!

What is it about "this is the actual GDP chart, the other one was a fantasy of your fellow goldbugs" that you find so difficult to grasp?
No wealth is being stolen from you.
If you are poor, it is because you have squandered your money on BTCeanie BTCabies Bitcoin, or you simply suck at what you do & don't deserve to be rich.
If it is the prior, stop flushing your money down the toilet, and if the latter--get good. brah.

What part of "GDP is rising, inflation adjusted average wages remain stagnant" are you having trouble with?

No part, I agree with that.  Let's fight for income equality, comrade, let's make the rich pay their fair share in taxes!
(Focus on the emboldened text Smiley)

"U.S. economic growth is not translating into higher median family incomes. Real GDP per capita has increased while the real median income per household has not, indicating a trend of greater income inequality."  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Household_income_in_the_United_States
2433  Economy / Speculation / Re: permabulls not only lost the control over this section-in fact they are extinct on: December 22, 2014, 12:29:41 AM
Permabull here, certainly not extinct. Just on a looooong break from the forum because of all the trolls, I have so many people on ignore it's hardly worth reading anything.

Ignoring the advice of your betters is exactly what got you into this pitiable state.

But he's not ignoring the advice of his betters. He's continuing to incest, just like we suggested. He's only ignoring the advice of morons like you.

What pitiable state? I took profits about a year ago at ca. 1100 $ with an average cost of around 90 $ pr. BTC and got my initial investment back with a really nice surplus. If I sold the rest now I would still earn a pretty pile of cash, but of course I would never do such a stupid thing as selling my beloved BTC  Roll Eyes

Don't believe a word of it, brah.  You're not even smart enough to respond to the right post, and you're telling me you called the top @$1100?  Right Cheesy
Besides, you prob'ly lost most of your coin on Gox, or by "investing" it into some other scam Bitcoin securities.
I know you Bitcoiners Cool

Lol, I told you i posted a chart made by goldbugs, to err on your side of the argument.  Here's a real one Smiley

This would correspond with that "projected" wage thing in your other chart. So this only back up the wealth being stolen by inflation proposition.

What is it about "this is the actual GDP chart, the other one was a fantasy of your fellow goldbugs" that you find so difficult to grasp?

Those who are living paycheck-to-paycheck are the people I'm concerned about, not the rich complaining about not being rich enough.
No one saves for retirement by stuffing a mattress.  401(k), or even a bank account would do better.  Welcome to the 20th 21st century!

Yes because anyone who, say, makes an extra $10 in tips tonight will be straight on the phone to Scottrade in the morning. No, rather they will put a little aside, perhaps in a jar or maybe a low-yield savings account and build their wealth until it is large enough to actually do something with.

No, a part of the pay goes toward the 401(k).

Quote
Then, of course, we are entering the era of negative interest rates on savings. So perhaps the mattress is better.

Not where I bank.  Where do you bank?

Quote
Of course, even if you aren't in this kind of situation, it's impossible to operate a checking account without keeping a balance so the government is helping itself there too, even when bail-ins are not happening.

Ah, and, the stock market. That's where all these inflated dollars are going, indeed. Nice fat bubble there. Nice if you happen to have some extra money to put in there. At least until the inevitable happens. Don't worry, the big boys who buddy up to the government will be able to make a tidy exit in good time. There will be plenty of people wondering where their retirement money went though.

Don't really care about your daddy issues with the government & your doomsday prognostications.
Continue to hodl your BTCeanies as the rest of the world laughs & points fingers.

Keep the kool aid flowing, Brother!

The number of chinese that are richer than the average American is going up by about 10%/year so you will get there if you keep working hard.

What country do you live in & [roughly] how old are you?
Telling people they'll get rich if they just "keep working hard" is clueless, sadistic, or both.

China is changing, people are getting richer, China will be the new USA in terms of being the first world nation but they will act very differently.

Bro, do you even read?  Look for the red text.
But keep cheering for China, they're certainly doing the right thing by protecting their economy from Bitcoin.  Communism IS the future! Smiley
