2427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: March 06, 2016, 12:05:55 PM
Probably the long and exhausting confirmation time, I really sometimes need to wait for hours to get confirmations when there is a spam attack on the network... The volatility is part of the system so don't find it that annoying.

Just pay bigger fee. The more you pay, the less chance of delays you will have.
I think people will not be willing to pay more fees. because they want to receive services according to what people say. fee is cheap and fast transaction right ?
If people are not willing to pay some extra cents for the better service then it is certain that they don't care about the service and i don't have any problem to pay any extra for my coins to confirm or arrive faster.

The spam or other attacks are not permanent and not a general case.

i agree, i also don't mind paying extra fees for a 1 week so that my transaction gets confirmed while an attack is going on.

but it is frustrating to receive a payment for example from a service and have to wait a couple of days for confirmation.

2429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: March 05, 2016, 04:15:43 PM
Gambling is risky game of money from which most people lose and just a few wins. Gambling too is addictive and fun especially when you're winning and that's why most people can't get away from gambling once they get in it.
In gambling you only win from the start then you lose whenever you win a certain amount.

i sometimes feel like this too. but then again it is not exactly gambling that is a sickness, it is the gambling addiction that becomes a sickness.

or better said it is the people who are using gambling as a way of living are doing it wrong because they are losing their money everyday. but not those who gamble for fun from time to time.
2430  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: March 05, 2016, 03:58:38 PM
Every nook and corner of porn industry bitcoin usage is increased. This growth and usage of bitcoin is due to the anonymous nature of the bitcoin. Recently, in every illegal activity bitcoin has a big role.

i don't understand why you are saying these two in one sentence? PORN industry and illegal activity!! surely bitcoin is used everywhere like fiat (in smaller amounts) but this doesn't mean it is only being used as illegal activity.

explain me this:
what makes working for you more profitable than working on my own?

1. i can open up an account on an exchanger
2. and use the DOGE wallet address in faucets
3. sell the DOGE whenever i want to whatever price i want and get 100% of the sale (doge/btc or doge/usd)

i am sorry but i don't get where you come in?

2434  Economy / Speculation / Re: f*ki bitcoin price is dropping day by day.. is it me only loosing serious money? on: March 05, 2016, 03:12:42 PM
i think one of the reasons for the recent drop is the ETH massive pump, that market is attracting more and more investment, the money that is being pulled out of bitcoin temporarily

so that money is going to come back with profit and be invested in bitcoin once again hence pushing it up higher this time.
2435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: March 03, 2016, 02:51:24 PM
Well if you want to win on a dice game try to deposit a high amount of btc (more or less 10 - 0.01btc) then bet max at a winning rate of 90% twice or thrice and you would definitely win those and withdraw what you've deposited and you would definitely get 2 - 0.002btc and bet those and try to make those go high and withdraw as soon as you doubled or tripled those because most sites makes you lose all of it in just some bets ...
Remember not to be greedy or else you'll lose Wink

so you are saying that all the dice sites are rigged so that you will win your first couple of bets and then start losing?

otherwise there is no guarantee to win anything even on 90% chance you might bet 10BTC and lose it on that 10% chance.
2436  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Burger King Accepts Bitcoin on: March 03, 2016, 02:46:18 PM
places like fast food restaurants (burger king) are the best place to start spread the word about bitcoin because the is always all kinds of people who are eating there and it never will be restricted to a particular group of people like steam accepting bitcoin which is only gamers.
2437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: March 03, 2016, 02:41:55 PM
i prefer to keep holding my idle bitcoin as they are, just sitting in my cold storage. it is the safest option.

but in order to earn some profit and just be active i do some small amounts of trading in altcoin market.
2438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you call someone with 1000BTC? on: March 03, 2016, 02:33:01 PM
i call someone with 1000BTC a scary person because he can manipulate bitcoin price as he pleases.

he can put up sell walls to push the price down or buy walls in order to push the price up. or dump and create mass panic on exchangers.
2439  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ? on: March 03, 2016, 02:24:50 PM
we are all hoping for such a rise to $800 and above, this year.

but also i think it is very well possible because of the halving which is on the way and a couple of other things like the block size which will in time affect the bitcoin price.
2440  Other / Off-topic / Re: Lost 25$ Feeling suicidal on: March 03, 2016, 02:17:12 PM
