2421  Economy / Economics / Re: What will be the effects of China's central bank declaring all crypto illegal? on: October 21, 2021, 07:33:43 PM
why so worried about it, in this world there are so many countries and that prohibits only one, why should we panic about it.
even if it is a country with a very good capability in the global economy that prohibits it, it will not have much effect.
even if there is movement in the chart caused by it, but you should see the recovery after it happened.
They are really making this as a serious issue or they do really mind off things which arent supposedly for you to mind off because seeing on how this market handles these kind of situation then this wont really be that

a big issue or something that we should really be worry because no matter what happens then it would really tend to recover on its own and no matter how those country would  really be that negative with bitcoin

there would always be a community who would definitely support this one up and its a solid proof on what we are looking at the moment.
2422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you quit Bitcoin if a shitcoin like Ethereum surpassed it? on: October 20, 2021, 11:43:27 PM
Seeing other users that are up for the market cap and price of the coin just makes me smh. Jeez.
Why not invest to all of the coins out there if one is up for the price only? I have been a Bitcoiner since early 2017, and even if those other coins in the market went mainstream, I never zeroed my Bitcoins for something that would not even last overnight.

I can feel your pain, Even I sold the majority of my bitcoins prior bitcoin went to the moon around July 2017.

But feeling sad about it isn't going to do much and it's much better to think about new technology that's going to come in the future and invest in that, Whether it be some IT related company or Some Crypto related project, finding the potential in the project is necessary to make profit from it.
Investment opportunities are continous or limitless which means there would always be having that probability and its up to you whether you do make out decisions whether you do dive in or would skip out.

Its just really that hard to believe that Bitcoin would be surpassed after all the years we've been seeing in on the top then its hard to tell that it could be easily overtaken.

For now lets just cherish out that it is on the top and i agree on some points that nothing do last forever but it would surely stay for a while on the top rank.
2423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Metaverse x Gambling on: October 20, 2021, 10:46:37 PM
@OP, why not? NFTs are everywhere in talks nowadays and I believe that this will cause a huge expedition to take place in the world of NFTs and bring a new revolution. I was also thinking about this that some well-known players buy high quality 3D NFTs which can be used in a game that allows those NFTs to move. Games like virtual football, tennis, cricket and all where gamblers can predict the winners as well as scores same as we do in sportbooks and gamble their money. I hope this too becomes a reality very soon.

Metaverse is well linked to NTFs and crypto in general. I think that there are many complementary technologies that can make on-line gaming a much more enjoyable experience, for example mixing "second life" style metaverses with competition for NFT that can potentially be traded and all that with a number of casino and ability games imbedded into the metaverse. This looks a bit futuristic, but I think we are heading there.

There's no doubt if items in popular games like Dota 2 and Pokemons were to become NFTs, the world of metaverse will insanely increase and will create another huge hype that will make the gaming industry reach the top again. But right now, all we have are a few legit games and more games are fraud especially those who don't have any stories just to click and hit for money. Cryptoblade and other NFT games like it.
Hard to make out some integrations of NFT trend to be adopted and applied into those traditional or famous games at the moment and also Steam had banned out blockchain games
https://hypebeast.com/2021/10/valve-steam-blockchain-nft-games-ban-policy-info
https://gadgets.ndtv.com/cryptocurrency/news/cryptocurrency-valve-bans-nft-games-steam-blockchain-epic-games-2579127

Which means that there would really be still blockage in overall adoption and recognition.
2424  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can BTC hit 70k$ this Christmas? on: October 20, 2021, 09:36:59 PM
Form the subject itself give me your point of view and belief why you think bitcoin could go skyrocket this Christmas? Can BTC hit 60 or 70k$ this Christmas? I know it is unstable it might godowns but if you believe it will go up go type down your comment. Still, if you don't think it will go up you are still free to express it here.

Please state your proof, like photos why you think it could be up and up? likely if your answer, be sure to add some proof.

No hate comment please, it's just to hype you others to hold on to bitcoin is there if a chance that BTC value will go up Wink Smiley as Halloween and Christmas are near! Roll Eyes
We are already just 2+ months ahead before chirstmas day or simply with the holiday season and asking out on the price of 70k is almost been reached since 5k+ price isnt really too far off based up on real experience.

Currently the price is playing in between these levels which is on 65k which is honestly the new ATH as of this moment. We cant be sure if it would run even further or would really be having some

nasty correction afterwards after people do make out some huge sell moment but lets hope for it not to happen that early.
2425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daytrading vs Holding on: October 20, 2021, 08:35:44 PM
I will always prefer to hold than to trade. Nobody is perfect in trading. most trades are pumps but there are projects with massive development that will always bring in investors and money. far from that. i think it is all about holding for the long term. i always believe that the fundamental rules that govern crypto investment remains intact and the same. HODL and THINK LONG TERM.
It is what I do.

Thinking about long term since this is already a life changing opportunity, I'll be putting the risk to myself and taking it as if nothing has happened because it's bearable.

Those that are short term, they'll feel bad whenever they look at the picture whenever the market has already gone through and far and that's why you should always have the position of being long term.
Regret doesnt goes come first but rather it  is always on the end and when it comes to making decisions then every outcome would really correspond on what we had decided in the past.If you do look up some

opportunity then it is on someone neither they could dive in or would pass out and find for another chance or particular point.Being a day trader or hodler is on personal choice.

Some people doesnt really like for them to risk on which they do really decided to hold for long term and some do really love to see on shorter scale.
2426  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tyson Fury in next Expendables movie by Sylvester Stallone? on: October 20, 2021, 07:28:50 PM
Sylvester Stallone offered a role in new Expendables movie to heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury after he defeated Deontay Wilder in fight of the century according to Stallone who was impressed.
Stallone was acting in famous movie Rocky so it's no surprise that he is a fan of boxing, and I think that this could be great for Fury that will have something to do if he starts his new career in movies.
It is not clear if Fury will accept this offer and I would like to see him in more fights before going to big screen, but this is interesting news.

One of the perks or possibility on getting when you had done something which is totally great because you do gave out some best boxing fights and as a champion you could possibly impress others eyes specially in other industries as well.

It isnt really surprising that these kind of offers are really given.Just like on what happen on tv commercials, branding advertisement which these businesses would really offer on something
that they do know can give out extreme exposure.

Seeing Fury in a movie? Lets see on how will end up.
2427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becareful with Meme Coins on: October 19, 2021, 11:48:43 PM
experienced users understand that meme coins are too risky for investments but many newbies want to earn fast and easy money that's why they put their money in such coins as SHIB, DOGE and others.

But many experienced users also used meme coins as scalping tools to earning some profit from it. The difference is many newbie just all in into meme coins instead of divide the funds to the real projects first.

I'm sure those who bought the meme coins are not stupid to hold the coin buy they are just buy it for random speculation and hoping the pump is not over yet when they enter the game.
The stupid one is the one who "invest" on it, the one who trust the coin will growing a lot in the future and still holding them in a profit position.
But people who lost because of speculation, just take it as a lose while doing gamling

Its a bit true, that kind of investment is weird and unacceptable if u share it story with another investor. You would end up like a fools if doing "investment" on such meme coins.
You would find it too be weird for those who are really that keen on making out investment but for those risk takers then for sure they would really be seeing this as an opportunity to make money

no matter how some people do disapprove on investing with memecoins. It is actually risky but still a possible thing for you to engage for you to make profits but if you cant bare with

the risk then better to play less riskier which means you would need to stick out into those common top altcoins for you to invest on.
2428  Economy / Economics / Re: Really, why bitcoin has this value? on: October 19, 2021, 10:42:15 PM
At some point I am really messed up and lost in vein when it comes to bitcoin's price. I think that every second it gets more and more a victim of speculation and gets abandoned from its original idea.
If bitcoin could perform very well at 6K some months ago, why it become 60K after some months? And then it went back to 30K but was still functioning very smoothly, i.e. it was doing the job it was created for.
Again, If bitcoin could perform well at 30K some weeks ago, then why it worth 60K right now? I just don't get it when people say that bitcoin isn't speculated and all of these prices are just natural.

Come to think that bitcoin was never intended to have some value on  the first place but rather it is sole create on having that p2p transaction in between users and it turns out that it did really make out some significant

fiat value is just because of the demand or the community had decided to trade with it and those early speculators had really presumed and treated it as some sort of online currency which is actually it is.

Price wont really be affecting on how it do functions and no matter what the value is then real use case would be still the same.
2429  Economy / Gambling / Re: Trustdice.win 🎲 | Bitcoin Casino 🎰 | Sports Betting ⚽🏀🏈 on: October 19, 2021, 09:29:35 PM

2430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin > Gold on: October 19, 2021, 08:27:07 PM
I think Bitcoin is better and safer than gold. Because Bitcoin will be safe and secret as long as it is in your wallet. On the other hand, it is not possible to keep gold secret. Anyone can own Bitcoin. So I prefer Bitcoin.
You can still keep gold as a secret.

You don't have to tell everybody about what you own and you can keep your assets secretly. But many will agree that bitcoin is better because we're focused into holding it.

There's more potential profit that we can get from owning it.
Agree, your assets wont be known if you do just decide on not to expose it publicly or wont to tell somebody on what you do own which i could say a typical thing to be done rather than to be boastful about your assets.

You arent really just making yourself to be on surveillanced but also you are putting yourself at risk when it comes to your life which is really a dumb decision for you to make.
I dont really see the point on trying to differentiate between Gold and Bitcoin. They do have different purpose but having ending up on the same goal which is to make
profits but somehow there are noticeable differences which people do really prefer.
2431  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best set up for take profit level and precentage? on: October 19, 2021, 07:24:43 PM
In trading some are making take profit with the lvl and percentage, example like
TP lvl 1=20%
TP lvl 2=30%
TP lvl 3=50%
i just want to know what kind of lvl and percentage is the best for that kind setting and any reference that can calculate the setting of take profits
Honestly, this is actually a personal preference because not all would really be that good on making out compounded profits or certain levels which means that it will really just vary on what are those selling

points that you do set out for you to secure profits. What matter most here is that you do make gains or in greens because this had been our primary target since from the beginning.

So its up to you if your TP would be a on a specific range or percentage as long you make money then that what counts.
2432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: October 18, 2021, 11:41:20 PM
^

I believe that such streamers have no place in our society. It is a pity that at present there is no real working tool to limit their advertising activities, which bring losses to gullible subscribers. Apparently, until we ourselves begin to protect the interests of society as a whole, such advertising activities cannot be eradicated.

I agree that if streamers are making promotional video of betting on behalf of a casino, there should be a notice. Viewers should know that the game they are watching has no risk of losing money. This should be regulated by law.
However, if you want to accuse these streamers of being scammers, what about casinos that order the recording of such videos? Are you accusing them of scam too? If so, you should announce it, for example, in the trust section of Roobet Bitcointalk profile.
Well, it is not possible to 100% preventing scam practice in the crypto world, kinda we can decrease the ratio by educating potential victims. GambleAware should be sticky on Twitch sessions to prevent the newbies fall into this trap and keep draining credit cards or taking loans from close relatives in the worst case. Ethics are on the second plan if the plan is to make more money with tricky methods, unfortunately.

Any form of prevention is good to reduce frauds made on inexperienced users. You will definitely never be able to eliminate scams in 100%.
However, when it comes to streamers who mislead by claiming that they are really playing with real money, and this is not true, it should be regulated by law. If it is not regulated then it is obvious that the casino is taking advantage of it.
Why it would need to be regulated by law? Law are local to countries while the streams are broadcasted internationally then laws can't do anything IMHO. Only streaming platforms like Twitch can do something against that.
True and there would be only changes if there's a certain country would really gave out some legal issues towards the platform that had been used and thats the time regulatory responses would take place.

Fake bets or some deceptive activity is something casual on this market specially into those streamers but as a viewer/gambler then you arent really that dumb on not to notice that.
No one could be blamed but only yourself because you arent forced to play on the first place.
2433  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your opinion on recent bull market, will it be over soon? on: October 18, 2021, 09:33:39 PM
The market is like a mountain of ups and downs, so when it goes up and when it goes down, you have to see the information that is developing at this time. a lot of positive information is happening right now so the bitcoin market often bullruns this week. a lot of information is circulating that bitcoin will again penetrate the price of $65k percoin in the next week.
Exactly, there’s no straight ladder going up, we really have to take many obstacle before reaching the peak that’s why expect a more volatile market. There’s a lot of good speculation, so I’m also positive about the price of Bitcoin and its really possible to make a new ATH this money because the bull trend is not over yet.
Majority of people specially newbies or people who had just recently jumped in into this market will really be having this kind of impression on where they do believe that we could reach on top in fast pace manner

but thats not how the market works or behaves. It all matters with the demand and it is indeed a bumpy ride and with this recent bull market then we can simply say that it is because of the demand.

Over soon? There would be always a correction or price decrease and that what makes it too unpredictable.
2434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we accelerate the mass adoption of crypto? on: October 18, 2021, 08:35:01 PM
I just saw this topic "What problems in Bitcoin's infrastructure prevent it from being adopted more easily?". All the answers were really interesting, mentioning the lack of regulation, volatility, ignorance, etc.

My question is: How can these problems be solved? And is it ever possible, what do you think?

In my opinion, regulation, practicality, and stability are definitely required for the mass adoption of crypto as a payment method/currency.
What are your opinions on this?
Regulation? Its not needed but with some service correlated to it then we do need that but of course KYC be a big problem.
Volatility? Deal with it because this is actually the one reason on why people do love to invest on not only basing up on real use case.
Ignorance? This is a personal problem because anyone could deal if they do just know on how to jump on whats the current trend.

For now it could really serve as a method of payment but wont completely able to replace fiat no matter what.
2435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Issue of fixed Matches on: October 18, 2021, 07:41:26 PM
I was with a friend today who was in a hurry to place his bet on some numbers that were sent to him for some football matches that he believes are fixed. I'm a bit confused how fixed matches work.

Are fixed matches real? Do the coach and players of teams were matches have been fixed, do they consent to it? If you were in a team were your next fixture has been fixed, what will be your reaction?

Fixed matches do really exist but these kind of information doesnt really just came out on randomly or in public unless if you are part of big mafia or some organization then you would might able to get these information.

Asking out about on how its been done? On the word fixed matches then they do know on what to do and of course it do involves money on any team which is connected to it.

So hows your friend able to acquire that info? If random text or emails then it is likely a scam attempt.
2436  Economy / Economics / Re: When you sell is no longer "yours" on: October 15, 2021, 09:46:37 PM
Wait what? There are actually people that do not understand the basic principles of trade? I swear that school education has not progressed since the days of 4 elementary grades. But I doubt this is the norm. I think most people understand that selling something means not having it anymore. Unless you sell it and ask to borrow that same thing from the person you sold it to for an indefinite amount of time, and yes, I have heard of that happening Smiley
Its the basic principles thats why finding out this kind of topic it seems to be bullshit to discuss on because its understandable that you wouldnt really own anything that you had already sold out.

It is just dumb that you would get it back once you had able to sell it, but if you do then of course it would really be in different price and it is just like you are just smashing a rock in your head if you do.

Dont end up on having this kind of mindset because this would just simply make look like a fool.  Cheesy
2437  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does a trader needs to be a full time trader to be successful? on: October 15, 2021, 08:47:38 PM
Not necessarily. There are traders who are successful crypto traders and trade part-time. Success depends on your financial goals and wins, so there is no definite answer to it. Your trading method is also important here. If you're a long time trader, you require more hours.
Part-time or full-time it doesnt really matter at all because everything would really vary on how you do trade and success will depend on how you do handle up things even though the difference is truly that

noticeable and this is on where people do make out decisions whether they do go for full time or part time depending on their extra time and finances as well.

Being successful isnt something that you could really able to know on whats ahead but you could at least make out some steps which could give out some advantage.
2438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: have you ever play or won from a crypto exchange lottery? on: October 15, 2021, 07:49:54 PM
Privacy is one of the most essential needs of the people and most of those who won a lottery in real life will prefer to stay private without making it public. I have heard a few people who have won the lottery but in a small amount, but If you talk of online lottery then quite a good number of users on this forum have won some good amount in various currencies.

How many people who won the lotteries have posted here that they have really won a crytpo exchange lottery ? If some one tell here that he has won the lottery, his privacy remains intact because bitcointalk does not collect anyone's personal data and you cannot trace the person physically.

Winning a lottery is not an illegal thing and hence its not something to hide either.  Smiley
For sure there are people who won lotteries but no one would intently share it out on public and its just normal that you would definitely not able to do so just for the sake of your security but here on this market then

it isnt really that much of a concern since everything is anonymous where you could share up if you wanted to but people do stick out on things that had been a traditional where sharing up publicly would

have corresponding risk and it is much better to keep quiet and wont tell anybody on what you had won. When it comes to typical lotteries then it doesnt matter because odds would really be just the same.
2439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Putin believes Bitcoin has value on: October 14, 2021, 10:59:45 PM
I'd like to get a direct source for that, cause in this article the words "bitcoin" and "cryptocurrency" are interchangeably used. I've seen many times titles like "country X supports Bitcoin" and then you read the article and they are actually talking about CBDC or stablecoins.

I hope people won't start saying that "Russia will make Bitcoin a legal tender" and include it in that fake list of countries that will adopt Bitcoin next.
Im searching for this one because they do really make use of cryptocurrency as a default thing or been generalized.

Edit: and as presumed then it is indeed saying about crypto.

Well, its better rather than going in negative aspects.
2440  Economy / Speculation / Re: Future bitcoin price is high and low on: October 14, 2021, 09:53:29 PM
As long as we get to ride the wave, we are going to reach the shore. The important part is to realize that bitcoin is not something that stays still, it is one of the most volatile things in the entire world and we are in it right now. I love it, and I would support it a lot in any circumstance, but the volatility is something that is dangerous for some people because people are afraid of it. What I believe we should be doing right now is the fact that holding became even more important, if you could hold for a very long time then it is "nearly" guaranteed that you will profit, the time you need to hold changes from person to person but it almost always profits.
Why people cant just realized on things that they are dealing with? They do even comes to a point on where they do really believe on that stabilizing thing here on crypto space specially with bitcoin which is never been

possible to happen.Volatility aspect is one of the most common factors on why this market had progressed that much aside from its real use case and that one cant really be denied on.

High and low in price is something interesting on this market and with these movements then you could utilize it for the sake of making profits.
