To answer your question, I just got back from the product team with more details: due to the blockchain's high volatility, in some cases, the gas fee at the time of withdrawal request is not the same as the gas fee of the actual transaction – there could be a time gap between the withdrawal request and the actual transaction. Therefore, sometimes the final gas fee is a bit less, and sometimes it is a bit more. But regardlessly, at TrustDice, the players always pay much less for withdrawals than they do at most other crypto casinos.

Remember: we do not make any money from withdrawal fees - as sometimes we pay more, and sometimes we pay less to the blockchain. In essence, it is caused by the nature of blockchain volatility, and the delay happens beyond anyone's control.
