2421  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: May 27, 2016, 03:29:59 PM
I dont think that its a smart move to quit your full time job and get full time into bitcoin as no one is sure what will be the future of bitcoin.

Exactly and I don't want to see my family begging on the streets in future for the worsts decision that I can take.
of course you don't have to quit your job if you have doubts that you can provide for your family thru bitcoin. Switch only if you are 100% sure that you are earning more than enough to make your family live comfortably. Otherwise, maintain your job and do bitcoin onthe sides.

You  can afford to get full time on bitcoin only if you have huge capital to invest, and that capital will be helpful in trading as even small fluctuations can give you good profits.

You can do some skills like webdesign, programming, etc. to be able o get good profits too, it's not that trading only that give you huge profit

but if you are already an expert in the trade, you can benefit a lot. so no need to try something else such as webdesign, programming, because it is more complicated than trading
And I believe day trading requires a lot of time and attention. So you cannot do other jobs while you are trading. It is better to focus on it so you can be sure of a bigger profit. You can make it your main job and small tasks like signature campaign and small programming can be your part time jobs.
2422  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: May 27, 2016, 03:23:51 PM
Yes I still believe in the bitcoin because the bitcoin has a very good future a head and with the halving in our eye sight, nothing can almost go wrong right ?

Halving is not the solution to all the problems bitcoin has.
I would feel comfortable if the block size debate gets resolved.

Block size debate is a big problem and I hope it gets resolved in a short time, but bitcoin has a strong base and a good we so I still believe in it!

It is not something that can destroy bitcoin, isn't it?  Bitcoin is still performing good with the current block size. But I hope they come into a resolution about that before it have a negative effect on bitcoins. People just want a good service from bitcoin and that is what keeping their faith in bitcoin.
2423  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 27, 2016, 03:16:28 PM
investing is better in the long run

I would say saving is way better if you already have an investment, but doing both can do really give you a better results as long as you are comfortable doing it.

If you want to get rich in future then only investment can help you, saving will not add  that extra value to your money, so for me investment is the right choice.

Yes investment and working hard with bitcoin is going to help you rich, and you don't have to have a big amount investment in able for it to
start out an investment or business.

but a big amount always makes us quicker to benefit greatly as well. so the amount of capital, really decisive in investment.

You are right, but it doesn't mean that if you have big amount of capital will make you rich that fast. You need to work hard for it and to be
patient for the return of your investment.

Do not forget that the greater the investment, the more is possible to lose Wink Investments not always are successful. The most important is risk assessment and knowledge of the investment subject.

You need to do great level of research before making any investment as there many ponzi sites available at a moment which can scam you and run away with your money.

To avoid being scammed, it is better to go invest on companies that already have years of existence and have a good financial standing. It is always risky to invest on new companies because there is no record to base if that company will do good.or not.
2424  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: May 27, 2016, 11:58:28 AM
Best way to save is put them in safe place but no banks, i think that banks is not so safe, even exchange money to bitcoins will be much safer i guess.
I think base on your idea, banks are safe if you intention is just for safekeeping, bank also offers a little interest and your deposits is covered with insurance so safe for me.

If it is just saving, then we can say that banks are safe since it is covered in insurance when it goes bankrupt. You can put your savings there for safe keeping and ease of access. But if you want it to grow more, then bank is not a choice. Better put it on mutual funds or stocks, but those are investments already.
2425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: May 27, 2016, 11:51:52 AM
Make it simple, just tell them that you can earn money with it and you can also send across the globe with minimum fees, I think that will work or attract them towards it.
absolutely right, it is the most simple, all my friends with whom I look for bitcoin at first saw me making money on the internet through bitcoin and in the end they learn about bitcoin itself

Everyone needs money and extra money too, and bitcoin is helping us to achieve it and if you put this on the table then I am sure many people will get attracted to it.

You have a point there. So if you want to teach someone about bitcoin, you should start by telling them that bitcoin can help them financially. It is the most interesting aspect of bitcoin to people who are working online or part time.  But to people who have a full time job and is financially well off, it is not that much attractive. Better explain the ease of access and payment to them.
2426  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: May 27, 2016, 11:44:13 AM
No I do not spend them actively these days because the fact is that the halving is coming and it most likely will be good for sure without any doubts.

yeah i'm doing this also in the past days, i  have high hopes that halving will make my bitcoin double or up 50%
,when that happens i can spend my bitcoin again in casino and poker Smiley
Why would you spend your coins on gambling? Isn't there any important thing you want to use your bitcoin with? I hope you will not use all the bitcoins you hold on gambling alone. It is sad if you invested and lose them all on gambling. I am also investing on bitcoin y holding what I earn and waiting for halving to make the value greater. But I will not spend them on gambling but on another investment.
2427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: May 26, 2016, 02:21:37 PM
A good way for someone to learn is ways to obtain bitcoin; beginning with faucets, then as he realises that it’s a slow method of obtaining it; new ways are open to them like mining and signature campaigns. Making and developing that interest and eventually being resulted in  investing in Bitcoin. This is the best way to teach someone about the bitcoins.

That is a good way to start, but they won't be interested in mining at initial stage and it may complicate the things, but yes signature campaign will give helping hands to the beginners.

This will not work if the person has a good job and earning well. They will just be wasting time on faucet or signature campaigns. Better introduce them to bitcoin gambling where they can fund their account anonymously and without hassles. This will surely make them interested to bitcoin. Then introduce them to the other facets of bitcoin.

2429  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: May 26, 2016, 11:42:52 AM
Well, halving is close now. Why not investing on bitcoin and holding your bitcoin until the halving come ? Because my plan is when the halving come, the price of bitcoin will increase and i sell all my coins.

Hope your plan will come true even though I doubt that the price will increase significantly when the halving come. Of course you need to be ready for any possibilities if the price is not increase as you expected.

Whatever the price is going up or down we should still collect bitcoin diligently as if we still collect bitcoin balance we will continue to increase. And we have to know when to sell it, certainly when the price is high so that we can benefit. Perhaps it was a simple plan to get rich.

Holding bitcoin for really long term can make you rich in future as it is predicted that price will reach to $10k in future and if it happens then you can be super rich  Grin

Yeah, you can be super rich if you have a lot of bitcoin and the price went up to 10K $. The question is when will it happen? I am sure it will not happen in the near future even after the halving. It might happen but we might be too old to even enjoy our wealth. Holding is not enough to make us rich. We need to work hard and smart in order to be rich.

2430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: May 26, 2016, 11:29:11 AM
Banks will not disappear at any cost.
Bitcoin will stay at its position and bank will at there.
Maybe someday banks/governments may invest in bitcoin..

I don't think governments will invest directly in Bitcoin as there is nothing with Bitcoin that interests them as Bitcoin stands for freedom. Governments want something where they remain their full control over the entire financial industry. Bitcoin can't offer that to them.

Exactly. Bitcoin is the exact opposite  of what the current banking system is doing. Bitcoin is trying to free us from the grasp of the banks and the government. While the banks are trying to control us thru high interest loans and credit cards. I do not think bitcoin will totally eradicate the banks but at least it can provide us an alternative.
2431  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: May 25, 2016, 09:31:35 AM
I have spend some of my coins in some gambling sites buy i try to avoid it as much as possible because Bitcoins are worth allot of money and can even be worth more in the future. So I suggest that you do not spend to many.

We all know that bitcoin will be too valuable in the future but sometimes consequences force us to use it or convert it to fiat. Just like now, I need money to buy important things so I have to convert some to fiat in order to buy it. I am trying not to spend it and hold but I cannot help it.
2432  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: May 24, 2016, 03:09:26 PM
Quitting my job for the bitcoin is a whole sacrifice and I will never do this because I also have a family that I have to feed and because of that its not worth it in my eyes.

Of course you have to consider first you and your family's sake before you consider quitting your job and going full time on bitcoin. That will be very inconsiderate if you quit your job and you have no stable earning in bitcoin. Quit your job if bitcoin can provide more money than your current job can give.

Even if you are earning more in bitcoin then your job its not recommended to quit your day job, as bitcoin is temporary and job is permanent, no one knows how long bitcoin will survive.

I don't think bitcoin is just temporary. It is quite stable and being adopted by more merchants now. I think it will last longer than what you are thinking. But if you do not fully trust bitcoin, you can always stay with your day job. But if you are bored with it, bitcoin is just here waiting for you.
2433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: May 24, 2016, 03:00:27 PM
As the title say, what is the proper way to teach someone about what is Bitcoin?

I would say videos mostly.

videos can definitely help them in knowing bitcoin but you also need to show them how they can earn money from it and it will surely motivate them.
yes, video is good way to explain about bitcoin, people should understand if they watch bitcoin with video tutorial, but the problem is how we can teach them to use it directly for payment??
Absolutely I think the video is still very difficult to become clear to someone about bitcoin because if they do not understand is not necessarily that he does not understand in the video. But if they could ask direct teach and can run bitcoin very clear.

Of course, personally teaching someone the ins and outs of bitcoin is always the best course. Videos are only there to assist you on explaining what bitcoin is. But when you teach it on a personal level, they can connect with you and bitcoin. You will be arousing their curiosity and you can directly answer any questions.
2434  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: May 24, 2016, 02:55:31 PM
If the US dollar would crash the bitcoin will disappear to because a bitcoin has a price of the dollar. So when
the dollar goes away what will the price of the bitcoin be exactly nothing because there is no dollar anymore.
If the US Dollar is going to crash then it would effect the Bitcoin in someway because there are allot of people in the us that make use of the Bitcoin so there would be less Bitcoin users.

Why would there be less bitcoin users if dollar crash? Actually, they will most likely switch to bitcoin because bitcoin will be soaring high by then. Maybe there will be more merchants using bitcoin because dollars will be to low to buy something. Bitcoin will replace dollar as the strongest currency.
2435  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: May 24, 2016, 02:50:57 PM
I will send you 9BTC back as USD by wire transfer to any account you want.
That doesn't makes any sense. Why would you return him 9btc if he wants to give it away?If you have lots of coins or dont want them for whatever reasons, why not return all 10?

Exactly, what he is gonna do with 1 btc left? If someone gives me that high amount then I would surely buy some gold with it and rest coins I will hold for future.

Why would you still want gold.when you already have bitcoins. Bitcoin is already a good investment as it is. If you want to diversify your investment, you should go to stock. It will yield more profit in shorter time than gold. Or buy mutual funds for liquidity.
2436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: May 24, 2016, 02:45:00 PM
Bitcoin's nature allow itself to be used in any illegal activities you can think of. But it is also true in fiat but the government does not ban the use of fiat. Bitcoin will continue to survive because it is a currency useful to us and many more.

That's right..bitcoin and fiat are both use in illegal activity, the only difference is that fiat is under the control of the governments and banks while bitcoin is not..That difference I think government will surely give protection to fiat than bitcoin...

Yes, they will try their most to make sure fiat is protected and not used in illegal activities or counterfeited. But they could ban bitcoin from being used because they have no benefits from bitcoin.
2437  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 24, 2016, 10:32:13 AM
both of them is good, saving for short time , so we can use our saving money for emergency state, we don't know anything, also we must invest for better in future, we can invest at finance assurance, or health assurance also we can invest at bitcoin.

It is better to invest now because the price today is somehow low not like the past weeks it is some what higher. So investing today is suggested
and it can help you to make money for the coming halving if you have saved some bitcoins today.

Yeah, price has dropped a bit. This is a perfect opportunity to get more bitcoin at a lower price. This maybe the last time it will be this low since in a few months it will be halving.  You can put money in bitcoin as an investment and when the pice gets high after halving, sell and earn extra cash.

If you have faith in potential and capability of bitcoin then every day is a a buy day, as at whatever price you buy you can expect higher price in future and you very well know when to sell it.
That's a good advice as I am also doing that regularly, I can say I am a real believer as I am more futuristic on the value of bitcoins. I will consider doing buying now as a passive income.

That is what we should do by now. All my earnings in bitcoin thru signature campaigns and other work that I do, I store them all in a wallet and save them until past halving when the price is really high. I can get more out of my earnings if the prediction that price will soar high comes true.

2439  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: May 24, 2016, 10:22:06 AM
One way to save money is by buying items online, in bulk. Some companies even offer free shipping on large orders. Clearance items are sometimes available, and good savings can be found on non-perishable groceries and diapers. This saves time and mone.
I think what you mean to save money is not like saving money in this topic. I mean, this is about saving money such as providing reserve money, instead of save money such as buying goods in bulk.
To save some money you have not to be greedy otherwise you are losing a lot of money and that would be bad for you in the future so saving money will be one of the best things that you can do.
But of course it would be really hard that you can earn some money but you need to take some risks also if you want to earn money with it.

Saving money requires discipline and its not easy for everyone to save money on regular basis, you need to have control on spending on useless things or you won't be able to save anything.

Discipline is necessary to save but that is a passive approach. To be able to save better, you need to earn more. If you earn more you can still buy what you want and still save for your future. You just have to at least find a good paying job or have a very good investment that earns well.

I do not believe in the story but if it is true, good luck to OP. I hope he will still recover his bitcoin after 20 years and the usb are not working anymore because of corrosion. And i hope it make it thru the hard times ahead being broke and find some money to survive all the years ahead.
