Yeah it sure is being used for illegal activities. That is because you can make use of anonymously so no one can come behind your personal information.
This is a good thing but you know people are going to use it for bad things when they see you can not be tracked.
So you are saying the media is right in what they are telling in the news? Wouldn't be accurate. The media is pretty much just looking for stories and doesn't know anything about BITCOIN, in fact the only time they even mention it is when a big scam occurs or when they allegedly found Satoshi. |

Actually being a human is illegal. We can always do illegal things in our life with using what we have. That can be bitcoin or only can be one word too. Being human is the natural happening or creation. If someone gives birth through prostitution it may be considered as illegal activity. Lol I think human beings are born is not an illegal. bitcoin born to freedom. bitcoin you could have as much as you have and you are free to use bitcoin for anything, including illegal? is it any effect on bitcoin? |

yes maybe because the media give negative side to bitcoin like bitcoin are use for drug,porn and gambling and all of that is illegal in some countries.
Because of that media, good things can be shown as a bad things too. I think big banks force them to announce that, bitcoin is the most important part of this illegal things. But the fact is banks will loose their incomes if so many people will use bitcoin. Yes banks and media plays a big role to accuse bitcoins to stop the growth of bitcoin system. Bitcoin has nothing to do with any illegal activities or with any criminals. Bitcoin is same as dollars with respect to illegal activities. |

Well the silk road working with bitcoin were there break to be able to attack bitcoin and for one side it had worked people stayed away from it.

That was a long time ago when bitcoin was fairly new but now bitcoin is on the rise again and even dollar,yen or euro is used for illegal activities. |

Just by common sense, There is. If you look at every currency in the current world you see it being used by criminals, The more successful the higher and larger the adoption is.. USD is being used by some of the biggest criminals and almost all of them but that is not the fault of the tool but of the criminal.

Well what the media did was a good advertisement for bitcoin if it wasnt for that news people wouldnt be aware of bitcoin. Bad or good advertisement it still help bitcoin to be known by the people. |

You know...That's the wonderful thing about bitcoin. WE get to choose how we spend our hard earned money. And, if we spend it in a sinful way then we can be judged by our makers. It give us back freewill. Our governments are trying to act as if they are gods over us and bitcoin allows us to resist their control. If one wants to spend their money in a sinful way then let it be....they will be judged by their choices.

That's right..bitcoin and fiat are both use in illegal activity, the only difference is that fiat is under the control of the governments and banks while bitcoin is not..That difference I think government will surely give protection to fiat than bitcoin... |
