2441  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to connect (Link) your BINANCE Exchange Account to TABTRADER App for Newbies on: August 12, 2020, 12:11:27 PM
I did not read your guide because your images are too large. It is one problem. Please resize your images then post again (that what you should do to reduce image size). Some people don't have good internet connection and will get troubles with your images. Or you can change width option but as said, should try the first way.

2442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: August 12, 2020, 09:33:29 AM
XRP is one of the coins accepted by many exchanges and has low fees too (for withdrawing from exchanges).
It's not good for holding and it's not even a proper coin, but it has its use.
It may be a better candidate than Litecoin.

Right now BTC and ETH are getting expensive to transfer.
Ripple is centralized and not good to hold it but to use it as a transfer tool for fast speed and cheap fee, it is good. If people accept current expensive fees, they will contribute to increase the fee to higher and higher, that is not good. Luckily, momentum does not last forever, when it goes away, fees will be low again.

I supposed the idea just in case when both BTC and ETH networks are not clear.
2443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: August 11, 2020, 03:50:13 PM
To make GOLD tokens more popular, I propose to consider other cryptocurrencies to swap from GOLD tokens to them. The market provides two cryptocurrency to swap the token: BTC, and ETH. With the rises of fees in both BTC and ETH networks, having other options to move GOLD tokens is cool.

With FOMO in DeFi and on Ethereum network, I see the fees on ERC20 chain will be high for weeks or maybe months. Without good alternatives, people will lose more money for transactions fees, that never be good. It is not a fault from GOLD team but if the team can bring more convenience, it will be appreciated by community.

Do the team have plans to add more coins on marketplace?

Some candidates: Ripple, Litecoin

I checked and your transaction was dropped by node(s) and if it won't be rebroadcasted by the platform, it will not be confirmed by miners.

2445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Aave/ETHLend - Decentralized Lending DApp - The Game Changer - All info Updated on: August 11, 2020, 10:26:48 AM
Aave has been added to the Okex exchange, deposits will be available from August 11, Spot trading from August 12, trading pairs LEND / ETH, LEND / BTC, LEND / USDT https://www.okex.com/support/hc/en-us/articles/360047152392
LEND is a most impressive grown altcoin in this year. After it brokes the uncertainty phase it flies to the Moon. The idea from which LEND was built is not new, and the project began years ago but this year it flies. I don't know LEND is the trigger of DeFi growth trend in this year or the others but one word "Superb impressive"

LEND hits its new all time high in BTC pair this year: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/aave/.

Honestly this topic does not discuss about bitcoin so why is it in Bitcoin Discussion. I see you left link to your another thread in Beginners & Help that is good and enough. Making multiple topics in different boards for same purposes is not allowed.
2447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: August 10, 2020, 11:52:32 AM
I hate ethereum sometimes, with transaction fees it requires you could buy a one whole meal in here.

Don't you guys daily transactions that takes small amount of gold cost more than revenue it generates?
Check to see bitcoin or ethereum gives lower fees if you want to swap your GOLD tokens into BTC or ETH and withdraw them from GOLD marketplace.

With big fund, fee is not a matter because it accounts for very low percentage of all fund value. For small fund, fee is always a big matter and in the period fee is high, avoid to move your fund is best. Expand your patience till the period fee is low to move your fund. GOLD token is a safe asset to hold.
2448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: August 09, 2020, 02:03:58 PM
In a bull market, wait patiently and try to buy at the dips. It will enrich your capital. If you fail with your patience, try to expand your patience a little bit more. Don't join the price race. It is for people who have love with tradings.

If not, hold your coins and wait to take profits at the rate at least 30% from your entry price. Your entry price is good if you don't buy at peaks, instead buy at dips.

It is a vital rule for guys who use leverages. Don't naively think that in bull market you can easily get profits by using leverages and can get rich too fast.
2449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Profitable days of holding bitcoin percentage (98.5%) on: August 08, 2020, 03:30:10 AM
Holding is profitable if you buy it at the right time.

Even you didn't hold for last year but you bought it this year in March which was the known bearish month of the year, you're at profit in today's time.
It's more than a truth.

In November of 2018, if one investor bought Bitcoin in the $6400 range, and cut loss in January of 2019 when bitcoin was below $4k it is a big loss. However, 4 months later, bitcoin came back to $6400 range and it even flied to above $12k in July 2019.

Another investor bought bitcoin around $12k in June or July 2019, days ago can get out without a loss in capital but if make a cut loss when bitcoin dipped to below $6k in March 2020, it is another big loss.

Profit or loss, it depends on entry price, get out price and when you make it.

2450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: August 08, 2020, 02:34:51 AM
Only in the short term to me. When there is money to make people forget everything LOL.

But let's be honest, they also publish positive news for Bitcoin when there is something that drive traffic. There aren't many websites publishing 100% anti-bitcoin articles.
They write what bring traffic, as I say, since it's how it gives revenues.
Bitcoin is scam is fake scam accusations. Bitcoin is not a scam project when it was born and has never been. There are bad people use bitcoin or the name of bitcoin to scam others, forked projects are type of scam projects but bitcoin has never been a scam project.

They create fake scam accusations, and FUDs only to get traffics to their sites or to manipulate bitcoin price, for their profits. When market is in bearish phase, they create fake accusations and FUDs but then market is in bullish, they create positive news for bitcoin. Don't worry about them and worry about the true legitimacy of bitcoin.
2451  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Telegram channel for tracking the instant price of BTC on: August 07, 2020, 04:48:47 PM
There are top exchanges with apps for Android, iOS so people can easily install on their mobile. They can simply install apps to track BTC price (and other cryptocurrency of course) without requirements to log in their accounts. Binance, OKEx, Huobi, Kucoin, many apps from reliable exchanges.

If they are on computer or laptop, visit exchanges sites, bookmark trading pair of BTC to fiat they want to track price, or Trading view. All are available and Telegram channel for it is not needed.
2452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: August 07, 2020, 12:58:05 PM
everyone has been talking shit about juventus for the past few weeks (they were playing really bad in serie A), but let's be honest, we have to back them tonight in our bet slips, you can't help it, it's Juventus, Cristiano, Dybala, Bonucci, etc...they have to show up tonight and get the job done. So here's my ticket:

no way they're gonna get KO'd in the RO16 against a bunch of nobodies, right? there's NO way  Lips sealed
With De Ligt and Bonucci, Juventus have good defenders at the centre and those guys can also score goals from corner kicks. Their forwards and strikers (Dybala and Ronaldo and some others) have some days to rest because they did not join the last match in Serie A. Will the sacrifice in Capocannoniere get good results for Juventus in the match with Lyon?

CR7 does not have much time left to play at highest level so he will try best to beat Lyon and win the first Champions League with Juventus.
2453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beirut explosion - Lesson to learn from this. on: August 06, 2020, 11:32:58 AM
Furthermore, share the backups and ways to retrieve coins from backups to at least one person who you love and trust the most is key. Accidents (maybe death) can happen to everyone so don't keep all things for yourself alone, then if something bad happens, your coins will be lost forever.

I have a feeling that the chances of the person you "trust' to steal those keys from you are growing proportionally with the value of your coins, and I've heard of enough family dramas to think that there are higher chances for a friend to rob you than for all your house to go up in flames.
Having multiple back-ups is clearly a solution but I wouldn't really deal with riddles when "encrypting" it, one baseball ball in the head and none of your riddles won't make sense anymore.
I don't mention about friends. If I have my wife and my children, I should disclose it to my wife. Even now she does not interests in and have knowledge on bitcoin, I would tell her what to do if I suddenly pass away. My children is too young now so I skip it but if they are older enough to remember what I say, I would say them what to do too.

I agree with you about unnecessary of encryption, that is a way to over complicate everything. Key is enough, just store them secretly and safely.
2454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beirut explosion - Lesson to learn from this. on: August 06, 2020, 04:34:00 AM
The Beirut explosion should be a wake-up call to all of us, to store your Paper wallets and cold wallets in more than one geographical location. A national disaster or a accident like this might wipe out your house and if you used that as your primary hiding place, you would lose more than your house.
It is a precious lesson for all. From HSE (Heath Safety Environment) staffs to bitcoin and crypto enthusiasts.

Don't delay important and vital things for too long. Don't blame on anyone else because of any level of delays like the director of the Beirut sea port.

For bitcoin and crypto enthusiasts, having multiple backups in multiple formats (paper, USB, steel, ...) and in different geolocations like you advised.

Furthermore, share the backups and ways to retrieve coins from backups to at least one person who you love and trust the most is key. Accidents (maybe death) can happen to everyone so don't keep all things for yourself alone, then if something bad happens, your coins will be lost forever.
2455  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Voters’ Data on Sale After Blockchain Poll on: August 05, 2020, 12:18:08 PM
Hack can happen on blockchain or non blockchain data centers. But if any government say they build up a blockchain-based and backed by governments for privacy of their citizens, forget it. They are governments and their ultimate goals are follow up their citizens and sharing data to all of their institutions from many levels. It is centralized and data is readily to be shared.

Hack is the same but what I care is the trustworthy of governments on protect privacy of their citizens.
2456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Flooding in China effect on bitcoin on: August 05, 2020, 11:26:48 AM
I agree, the only direct effect is block time interval would be a bit slower (until difficulty readjustment).
Difficulty adjustment occurs each 14 days (not exact 14 days depends on how fast or low blocks will be solved). It is more correct to say it with total blocks (2016 blocks) for each difficulty adjustment interval.

In the meantime, when delayed difficulty adjustment occurs, there are more waiting, unconfirmed transactions, newbies will be panic. It can cause FUD in the past, in 2017 or 2018 but now I think it won't.

Today I received a PM to change my avatar, and I did it instantly. Also I saw some participants who worn a new signature but it is a wrong one, that is specially designed of GOLD_official, not for participants.

Please correct it with a signature for participants, guys. Here it is for you
Avatar:

I am sorry to post it here because I think if I post in bounty thread, it will be covered by some spam applications and no one will be able to read it.

What's wrong? It seems the avatar (now) is not the one I wear (I took it from the bounty thread early today). Please confirm.
2458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Stephen Wolfram" says bitcoin creator is known classified material on: August 04, 2020, 11:50:06 AM
At this point, it can be safely assuming that anyone who knows the identity of Satoshi is just a liar or a scammer. If someone truly knows who is Satoshi, they either would have told us already or will keep their mouth shut. And the chances of intentionally discovering him are already almost non-existent, because everyone had tried everything already.
A logical interpretation:

If Satoshi Nakamoto is a target of almost everyone in crypto space and governments, the one who truly knows who is Satoshi Nakamoto and publicly announce about it will be a secondary target.

If one person does not want to face with annoying things and even bigger risks of personal attacks, he or she is smart enough to maintain silence, as same as the past 10 years and a half.

2460  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Local Bitcoin account was hacked on: August 03, 2020, 10:31:12 AM
More importantly right now is to figure out how your account was accessed and to secure any other accounts you have. Reset your passwords, particularly on the email address associated with your LocalBitcoins account. Enable 2FA on everything. Perform full virus and malware scans on your devices.
Some people don't set up 2FA for their accounts or set up 2FA with SMS code that is terrible because of unstable operation of SMS code verification service or sim swap attacks. [BEWARE] Sim Port Attack.
2FA, in my opinion, by default is for applications. I have never chosen SMS code as the way to secure my account.

Attackers can also send phishing links to email and people can get trapped by log in their accounts on phishing sites, hence all account information will be stolen and funds gone consequently.
