Agree, a few reminders for them that masternode's currently don't work as they seem to be forgetting that.. If they fail or there is another huge attack on the network in the next implementation, then that coin is going to plunge like a stone... The good news there is now well and truly priced in...

You guys are totally missing the point. I don't care whether the current XC code is original or not. Writing a centralized mixer is so easy that the Fedoracoin guys did it. The point is the difference in difficulty between coding a centralized mixing service and coding a decentralized mixing service is enormous. Being able to do the former is NOT evidence that one can do the latter.
DRK hasn't been able to code that themselves (hint: check the last weeks activity in DRK). But yes they have. The first version of it has been operational in RC versions for ages now. It's called "DarkSend". The DRK dev is still trying to determine a solution that doesn't cause forking, security issues and other such matters. And even then it will still not be truly decentralised.
The change that required hard forking was assigning a percentage of mining rewards to masternodes, not the decentralized trustless anonymizer. You throw phrases like "security issues" around as if you knew what you were talking about. Wanna elaborate on that? Also please tell me more about those "such matters". As for being "truly decentralized", if you are referring to the decentralized masternode network, I don't get what is better in having people run nodes on their personal computers running on crappy cable modems than having dedicated servers running on gigabit connections when you are going to need dedicated nodes in your network anyway! So they might as well do the anonymizing as well. There will be thousands of dedicated masternodes with 100% uptime 24/7, compare that to at most few hundred personal computers with their wallets open while they play some call of duty or whatever behind their cable modems. XC also has encrypted transactions.

Which way is that? The only advantage DRK has right now is the dodgy masternodes that offer more decentralisation... cling onto that whilst you can because by this time next month we'll be past it.
I would think a masternode running on a dedicated server with a gigabit network connection provides far less dodgy service than average Joe's laptop behind a wi-fi. I'm sure if a Amp DDoS attack to that one masternode, "a dedicated server with a gigabit network connection" then the whole DRK coins would go dark! |

true Yep, DRK is a good coin, but I dont think they realise the masternodes could be its biggest weakness not strength.. If the coin gets a very high value a masternode will need to be like fort knox.. One on Amazon has already been hacked... Owner lost 1000 DRK, so its not a laughing matter.

Today, We don't want to announce a specific time so people don't start yelling. It will be a partial review since we don't want people to copy our code. The dev has always said that it will be a portion of the code. I'm not programmer So I didn't know one thing The code will be opned (Dev said) So the copy and clones of XC is not considerable things isn't it? I also agree with this. Xecutive Coin sound stupid. why not call "The X Coin", Xcoin or just X11 Coin. Isn't X most likely represent the anonymity the coin want to be? I made an account just to say this one thing:
Please don't rename to Xecutive Coin, it sounds cheesy and also hurts whatever existing brand you have. New website is awesome, new name for the coin is not. +1, Monero's bloating blockchain makes it 10x less user friendly than even Bitcoin...The chain is over 8 times bigger than the Bitcoin blockchain at the moment and is getting bigger every second. Since many of you know how long the Bitcoin blockchain takes to fully sync(about 8 hours), multiple that by 8, and that means it takes over 64 hours for the Monero/cryptonote blockchains to sync...And the chain is ever growing, so eventually that number could be 100 hours, 300 hours etc. Not to mention that coin is a clone with no innovation and no new features, and there are 3 other Bytecoin clonecoins in existence such as Quazarcoin, FantomCoin, and HoneyPenny. get rich quick scam coins when you adds so many coins it would make your exchange look cheap and useless, more like kid playground. btc-e is look more legitimate exchange because they make it so hard to add any coin. also most of these coins pop up everywhere are scam and get rich quick by the creator. all are premined billions. most of the names of these coins sound pretty dumb. i hope all the exchanges would stop adding all these scam coins so cryptos would look more legitimate.
So almost all the coins listed on coin market cap were all scam coins except for your Vertcoin. Crazy dude!  Don't use/trade Bitcoins they were premine by Satoshi and sound pretty dumb too the first time you hear it.  |
