2441  Economy / Economics / Re: as im economy person with my info the investors could make good profit on: September 24, 2020, 05:25:13 PM
There is a reason why Predictions are called Predictions. They always have an uncertainties when it comes to the reality , plus I do believe we have to keep certain things in mind.

- We don't have a viable vaccination yet
- vaccination would need a lot of documentation to be distributed
- then we have to see the implementation of that vaccination for everyone
- we will need booster dose for sure
- Then everyone needs to be tested before they could remove the mask and finally continue like nothing ever happened

All this would take a lot of Time~ Effort and at the same time good governance.

- I believe we would need a lot more time for it to be all okay.
2442  Economy / Economics / Re: UK’s economy will lose a good amount of money if football clubs shut. on: September 24, 2020, 04:31:16 PM
I feel it's not just UK but many countries
At the same time they are on the edge due to the pandemic and therefore cannot take any blow to their economy , I believe this is a good decision. Even though they are wonderful when it comes to income they still have to do this because the longer UK takes to recover from this pandemic, there will be even more losses. Therefore I believe this is the right decision if taken for now.
Most important thing is to control the virus and UK doesn't have much cases , around 4000 is easily controllable but only with serious measures.
For now quarantine needs to be implemented fully , even one problem might prove fatal !!

At the same time you cannot expect angry football fans to wear masks and listen 😂
2443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Operation DisrupTor: Over $6.5m in cash and crypto seized by FBI on: September 24, 2020, 04:00:42 PM
This is actually good when they do a good thing without offending anyone , the thing is cryptocurrencies are easy to track whereas when it comes to money, most of the times you are not able to see where it's going and coming from , even though sometimes police might have the tracking number of the cash given by then to the bank or something , they cannot hold anyone accountable for it.

Cryptocurrencies are not supposed to be used for illegal purposes for sure but sometimes people do take it that way , which ultimately causes problems not just for them but for the whole community.

Dark net is already banned in many countries , even accessing it for some time period and getting tracked can put you up for investigation.
2444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of BTC (and any other crypto) always higher in Asian countries? on: September 24, 2020, 03:32:02 PM
First of all it's the Demand secondly in many Asian countries it's actually not so Supported by the government , in the Case of India , the price of Bitcoins is a little higher on the exchange rate , which is due to :
- Many banks being against Bitcoins
- Harder to own cryptocurrencies because in many cases bank will freeze the account if you are dealing in cryptocurrencies.
-High number of users on the most popular exchange thus most of the time they support instant buying/selling which might change the price a little.
- The charges taken by the particular exchange also increases the price .
2445  Economy / Economics / Re: Uk covid update on: September 23, 2020, 06:52:37 PM
Around July 17 , UK observed a considerable amount of decrease in the COVID-19 cases, but right now per day increase is around 4000 , which is actually a very high proportion as compared to the previous improvement. The fact is both the Government and the People have to make sure they follow and implement strict rules. Since they did it once , they can do it again , the problem is not really bad there as compared to other countries , soon enough UK can for sure decrease the cases to zero if they implement this new lockdown correctly.
Schools should be closed for a while. UK is opening schools and closing PUBS , but both of them should be closed for the time being.
Online education is not that worse and certainly not very important as compared to general health and well being of it's citizens.
2446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Less Volatile Coins on: September 23, 2020, 06:27:48 PM
I do believe you have to take care of the fact that the coins that you are thinking of investing are no different that fiat.

Volatility has its own benefits if you know how to use it.

You have to accept the fact that these coins are regulated and at the same time heavy regulations means you won't have that much freedom.

They are mostly dependent upon things like USD and at the same time tether is good but it failed to complete the promises made by the company for the users.

If you want to invest in stable coins , you might as well invest in normal currencies like USD.

With bitcoins you have to learn to use it the correct way~
2447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin (or other ccs) also not have a 'central' control? on: September 23, 2020, 06:01:32 PM
Just a thought. Of course its decentralised by an order of magnitude compared to fiat or other alternatives, but what about the process/team that decided the 21 million coin limit for example? How are such rules changed by the way? Is it the same dev team that pushes changes to the Core release that decides these things?

The total of the coins was decided on the code of the coin, just like the number of zeros after the point. And that's something you can't change in the future because it was made that way.

We see some changes in the road, but those changes are to make it more secure or more efficient, not to change the basic rules. When people change the basic rules then we have a fork, and a good example of that is bitcoin cash. But at the end, those decisions are taken by a group and not by an individual.

At the same time back when the code was written there were some minor mistakes in it. Apparently the bitcoins will be unusable after 2106 if the mistakes are not corrected.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5267497.msg54958221#msg54958221

Therefore we have to make sure to update it before that. I do think you are aware of the fact that the forks will only work when everyone decides to download it and update it.

Plus I do think there is a limit on Bitcoins for a reason and the long term holders are well aware of the price increase that would come with a fixed limit. I don't honestly think people will need unlimited supply , we can still make the satoshis workable and maybe even invent some more smaller units ?

2448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unauthorized change in the Bitcoin protocol? on: September 23, 2020, 05:36:31 PM
Miners still needs to update their own software before the unauthorized changes can be implemented right? Before that happens, another developer or the miners themselves would have noticed the malicious codes since its open source.

Yes and at the same time people don't update it periodically , a change would need the general consent of all the people since it's them who have to actually install it.
At the same time as far as I remember there is not one person who is a core developer , but quite a few and those people will sure oppose it.

If they were involved in bitcoins I believe they care about it with certain exceptions ofcourse , plus it would take time, effort and most certainly Mr. Satoshi will himself stop something like this if he sees this happening out there. Cheesy

As long as you don't update and download it , you are safe and if one person decides to do it they will for sure leave their reviews and you would know if the update is worth it or no.
2449  Economy / Economics / Re: Internet shutdowns by governments are bad for corporate marketing on: September 23, 2020, 05:01:10 PM
It is not just bad for corporate marketing but at the same time due to pandemic most :
- Jobs
- Shopping
- Studies
Etc...
Everyday work is dependent on the internet, now so more than ever. If the government decides to shut down the internet , the people who are living there won't be able to cope up with this situation for too long and come up with other methods.

-Plus I do believe civilians without any internet connection are not dangerous for the company since it's ultimately the fault of the government themselves. People don't have a say in it.
2450  Economy / Economics / Re: Possible Patterns of Recovery on: September 23, 2020, 04:30:25 PM
Hard truth is , most of the countries were already in a crisis way before the pandemic begin, the underdeveloped and the developing countries now due to this pandemic I do believe we will have a terrible condition there.

Other than that it will depend how well the country faces this situation, for most countries despite them having all the resources , the people are not very well following the rules and regulations. Therefore they have a continuous w shaped curve , which won't improve until and unless the government+people do something about it.

But am more concerned about the developing and the underdeveloped countries.

They might never show an upward growth for a considerable amount of time.
2451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Patents on: September 22, 2020, 06:11:57 PM
We cannot call them Blockchain patents for sure. Since the real Invention was by Mr. Satoshi and all these companies are looking for a patents regarding the modified version of it.

China have recognized the future profit , which is in Blockchain and they are also training specialists in the same. Guys in the IT sector are learning about this as a part of their academic curriculum.

There are even different courses which is specifically for people interested in blockchain technology.

Plus I believe most of these patents are not going to be especially profitable for these companies since the normal blockchain is without any patent and can be used by anyone , plus these modifications are quite easy if you have what it takes , but then comes sustainability , will they be able to modify this technology into something even better ? This is a question that we might find out in the future.

But for now..let's not call them Blockchain patents .
2452  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 4% APY on Bitcoin on: September 22, 2020, 05:28:31 PM
Huobi if I remember correctly was used by some scammers to actually as people to send btc into fake huobi wallets and such.

Quote
Hub. The police also arrested 10 people who operated a cryptocurrency scam that involved fake Huobi tokens, according to Bitcoin.com. The local media reported it as the “first criminal case involving smart contracts” in China.
https://tokenpost.com/Chinese-authorities-uncover-a-cryptocurrency-scam-involving-fake-Huobi-tokens-5622#:~:text=The%20police%20also%20arrested%2010,involving%20smart%20contracts%E2%80%9D%20in%20China.&text=Victims%20were%20instructed%20by%20the,to%20a%20fake%20Huobi%20wallet.

There was an entire fake huobi wallet created by those people , therefore I think whosever is interested in the same should actually first see what they are getting into , since if it happened once , it can very easily happen twice.
This happened in 2020 itself.

_*_

Plus there are other ways too by which you can earn some interest but at the same time you can just hold and encash when the price is high, this way the control is with you and not the wallet company or someone else.

It's easier and safer.

2453  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump's Economy or Biden’s Economy - which version is better. on: September 22, 2020, 02:27:03 PM
How about : None?
Honestly I am not even bothered what both if them are writing , they will of course write things like that when the election days are near but at the end when it comes to actually working out these problems most of the time, it goes downhill.
Joe biden of course used words strategically but I do think the accusations that he is corrupted should be addressed first.
Trump should never be the option , he is not fit to be a president , he actually uses his Twitter account like a 5 year old , no doubt it's hilarious reading his tweets but at the same time the orange man needs some professionalism , at the same time don't ever believe what he says , what he did with Mexico was unforgivable , kids were orphaned , parents forced to flee , the situation in these Modern concentration camps is something that's not even humane. The guy committed a crime , these detention centers should never be made in the first place. I don't see any reason why someone should even consider voting for Trump.
2454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kraken becomes first exchange offically declared as a US bank on: September 22, 2020, 12:58:37 PM
Without any doubt , they need to go international , open some more branches out there in every country , the crypto holders and traders have been tormented by the situation where even though the cryptocurrencies are Legal in their country they still make it very difficult for the users to actually use their bank accounts for the same.

I do think we could before this news divide the banks into :
Crypto friendly banks
Banks that HATE cryptocurrencies

But now we have , Kraken , which undoubtedly will Change the whole situation , it's a bank from a crypto application!! Such a positive news Cheesy

(I am aware this topic has been discussed but I do believe it does not matter much since I believe OP did not see that )
2455  Economy / Economics / Re: UK planning sliding window lockdown methadology on: September 22, 2020, 10:34:59 AM
This is just the modification of the method that was used in Delhi where there were regions and zones according to the severity of the disease and infection. Certain zones were open whereas some of them were fully closed.

More like an Adaptive Method of Lockdown needs to be implemented in these regions.

What England is trying to do is the same thing , but they have a big pot hole in this method , they intend to open those high alert areas again , whereas in my opinion they have to make sure there areas are closed until and unless the situation improves.

Because even if they open them after a while , what would be reason of shutting them down in the first place ?

2456  Economy / Services / Re: Help the Homeless animals!! Urgent adoption needed !! on: September 21, 2020, 10:15:39 PM
I'm not a cat person but those kittens looks so cute. I would love to have a puppy of my own, probably a good breed if possible to care and share my home with.
The only challenge is going to be about the border issue you mentioned else, I like the idea of adoption.

I have many puppies of breed as you mentioned in my care , but I do believe that any breed will do as long as they love you and vice versa.

If you do live close to the country , the border issue won't be that hectic , plus I have worked in shelters of India too thus if anyone needs to adopt from India too can contact me anytime.

🤍
This was the sick kitten , since he was separated from the mother too soon , he had gastritis and food allergies, luckily after 5 tries , we found the formula he could tolerate.

Every 4 hours he needs medications otherwise he cannot keep anything down and goes into dehydration.

See a lot of you asked how you guys can help , I do believe all the people that commented here do have a soft spot for the animals and therefore I believe if everyone here would stop animal cruelty and stand against these horrible situations that these poor little creatures have to face , we will have a better society, who knows maybe you can inspire a lot of people to do the same ?

They cannot speak but we can.
2457  Economy / Services / Re: Help the Homeless animals!! Urgent adoption needed !! on: September 21, 2020, 09:54:03 PM
So sad to see some people are doing such a terrible to animals. You did a amazing job to take and save these two little kitties and I wish you luck. Since I have experience of rising kitties and already have one of them, I wanted to help you with these two kitties. But unfortunately, I'm not from your country, not even close. Just did a little research there is no chance for me to help you taking care of them. Currently, the only thing I can do is to supporting you here and wish you luck.

Sorry to hear that the problem is here people don't care about Animals , when I came here I was so shocked to see how they treat them , therefore I decided to make a little change for the time am going to stay here.

Unfortunately I have received so many requests to ship them off to other countries which is definitely not possible because of tons of requirements and even the cost, but people here are horrendous , only some of them are helping them here and they too receive hardships from the neighbors.

Just because my rescued dog scratched the bed they decided it was worth 100$ fine for the apartment !! Things like that happens everyday.

If someone is from Italy or Poland I would be able to help , I have a lot of friends from there and it would not be hard transporting them. Just some documentation would be needed but rest would be okay.

If someone wants to adopt puppies and rabbits too , I would be able to help. 🤍 Please don't buy from the shops , they are death sentences for the mothers and fathers of those babies.

This is how we got them , they were in a plastic bag , someone did open it but did not take them home , they were sitting on the busy road for hours waiting for their mother which we don't know anything about , someone just ran over a cat so we think that might be her , but these babies starved for 2 days , then got a lot of care at the vet they thought they won't make it , especially the white one , he just started eating today after 3 days .

But right now they are the most needy and loud kittens ever.

Meanwhile the puppy I rescued from parvo and abusive owners helps me take care of them.
They are fearless and strong ⭐ would be the best addition to someone's family.
2458  Economy / Services / Re: Help the Homeless animals!! Urgent adoption needed !! on: September 21, 2020, 06:34:21 PM
It's unfortunate here , the kittens were delivered to me by my local shelter and apparently for 2-3 days they kept talking with me but now since they have like numerous kittens and puppies already they stopped caring for them. I am sharing their posts everywhere , every forum and social media in hope that they find a home.
The little kitten was very sick but thank god today he stopped vomiting finally and first time ate in 3 days.

I am looking for someone who can:
-Adopt them
-Take care of their food till they are adopted

( Since am still a student and not allowed to work full time , it's hard time looking for a job as a student when you are not allowed to work Tongue , but I somehow manage since I have to take care of other animals at home too)

If someone is interested in adopting them or taking care of their food please just send me a message personally I would provide you guys with the details.

Again : You are not going to pay anything for the adoption , am aware that foster homes and shelters charge for adoption but I am willing to provide a free sterilization operation when the kittens are big enough , Both are Males and it would be very easy without any problems.

I would also provide you guys with a month milk for the little kitten since he is not that strong.

This is oliver ^

This is Jack ^

{ They both got their medical checkup done, got blood transfusion on the first day. We did not think they would survive but they did , please someone who can keep them ?}

For a foreigner it's not allowed to take more than 2 pets back home(I have 3 Sad ) therefore I cannot adopt them , when I go home I cannot abandon them , therefore am looking for good hosts. I have arranged the documents for one pet in someone else's name therefore I cannot do it for both of them Sad , otherwise I would have kept these teddy bears.
2459  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy recovery Plan Global on: September 21, 2020, 06:15:23 PM
The real thing is " How can an economy recover this fast ?" , We are not even that good with the vaccination part. Yes there are some vaccinations in the trial but they are still getting perfected.

As far as I know , US is depending upon other countries to help them out.
Quote
At its lowest point in April, the Back-to-Normal Index, which is comprised of 37 economic indicators, estimated the US economy was operating at about 59% of where it had been before the pandemic in early March

The situation improved a little but then fell as the schools and some shops started reopening and the cases begin to climb high.

Quote
As coronavirus cases surged in some places, states backtracked on reopening plans. For the last three months, the index shows the economy has largely gone sideways. It reached a post-pandemic high of 80% over Labor Day weekend before slumping again to 76%

It is not normal for sure and in the upcoming future I do believe that it will still take some time to stabilize, yes the president will try to pump some air in the balloon that is going to burst anytime soon , but I do believe he has been doing that since the pandemic begin.

What you said is too good to be true , I believe it will still take a lot of time , like a year or so.

2460  Economy / Economics / Re: How freelancing websites killed design and developement bussinesses ... on: September 21, 2020, 11:09:07 AM
See for most of the people websites like this provide them with job opportunities which are very few if we take everything into consideration. You can apply in numerous jobs and you can be overqualified , but the company due to the COVID are hiring person who is okay working with the lowest wage possible.

This is online jobs that we are talking about but the offline ones are even worse. People are working 9-5 for even 100$.

If someone is available to earn this much online they think it's a blessing , but in reality they are being underpaid but they have nothing to compare it to.

People are desperate and these companies are using that. The upwork is a good option for sure but we need to understand that it's not good for the developing and underdeveloped countries , they are paid 1/2 of even 1/3rd of what they should be paid.
