1501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Moving Bitcoin to El Salvador on: June 27, 2021, 06:15:56 PM
I’m sure everybody loves paying taxes, but I am no expert but say with this current drop In price if I moved bitcoin outside of the US and to an El Salvador wallet, would that be saving on the future sale of bitcoin or what would that look like for capital gains?
I’m asking for a friend, I already lost all my bitcoin in a boating accident.
I think he means if it would be beneficial to move his bitcoins in a local wallet of El Salvador which would decrease the risk of it being banned etc..
Well I do think that you won't have to particularly go that far since right now in US there is low threat for bitcoins being banned and even if there was a probelm then usually the government gives people a certain amount of time and then you can for sure do something like that. If you are going for a long term holding them why not buy something like ledger ? This would mean you would not have to move it here and there and it would still be with you but since you said that you lost all your bitcoins in a boating accident then I assume your friend would be more careful with carrying it. Better buy a safe in a good bank and keep it locked until you need to use it.
1502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mircea Popescu died leaving 1 Million BTC behind? on: June 27, 2021, 05:33:53 PM
Now this is till unconfirmed therefore we cannot just take this news and move forth. At the same time the article uses *CLAIMED* therefore the fact that he did have 1 million bitcoins is not something that is proven. I do think that even if he have died and no one knows where his bitcoins is, it would be more like *long term holding* until his family finds them and decides to sell.

Well the reason of death could also give us an insight into the whole thing, which I do not see happening since we have no confirmed article here about what has happened to him. Maybe he was killed because the person knew he owned so much and tried to steal them. Who knows ? Let us wait for a confirmed, detailed news.
1503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling Licenses - What they actually mean on: June 27, 2021, 04:53:26 PM
I did not know how much they actually paid for the license. I knew it was costly but this price, it would make the small companies suffer so much. During covid how hard would it be to pay this much. The initial investments that the companies might have to make far exceeds the number they would make in a month. That's the reason why most of the gambling companies, they break down at the end. Many of them are also involved in scams too. The casinos need to keep up to date and invest a lot more in advertising. What's more shocking is seeing how much money a well renown casino actually makes.
You can see the numbers and tell how hard it would be to trust a new casino.
1504  Economy / Economics / Re: Andreessen Horowitz plans $1 bln cryptocurrency VC fund on: June 27, 2021, 04:08:40 PM
Reality is " People could very easily make profit if they keep holding for a longer period of time without selling in panic" BUT would you trust someone ? Would you trust the market ? Would you trust bitcoins ? Most of the times people think someway or the other some big investor will sell all their holdings and then it will be it.
Which seems true when you see people like Elon Musk in the market. They try and manipulate the market in every possibly way. Using social media and their following negatively. If people see such things happening for real in the market, this decreases the whole trust thing and makes them panic Everytime they see a dip, which might be true to an extent, we never know what the other person is planning.
1505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terms and condition a must read before signing up any online gambling site on: June 27, 2021, 02:08:56 PM
The problem is that often these texts can be very long, so it's hard to actually put yourself to reading all of it. But not reading at all is definitely too risky. I think that if a person is not willing to read all of it, the following things should be searched for and read: KYC policy, restricted countries, minimum/maximum deposit/withdrawal, rules (like no multi-accounting, perhaps no VPN and stuff like that). Also, if one's interested in bonuses, the wager requirements and other related conditions should be read.
You're right that this topic deserves attention. It seems to me that people often have negative experience because of being unfamiliar with the terms.

You are right.
I personally think it should be illegal to write such a long text ! They know no one has time to sit down and read pages. It can very well be made short! They use this trick to get people just sign up without any idea what they are getting into.
Or
They can also put few points differently for example:- USE OF VPN IS NOT ENTERTAINED, this way people can for sure see what they are getting into and see if it suits them. They should additionally tell the people about the fee, withdrawal fee and terms and conditions in a short and precise manner.
Plus why can't everyone do this ? Every site in this world ?
1506  Other / Off-topic / Dead or no ?? What did Q mean ? on: June 27, 2021, 07:54:03 AM
Hello people ! I woke up in the morning and came across this theory saying how John McAfee is not dead and apparently he wanted to start something like the *dead man's switch*.

Quote
"I've collected files on corruption in governments. For the first time, I'm naming names and specifics. I'll begin with a corrupt CIA agent and two Bahamian officials. Coming today. If I'm arrested or disappear, 31+ terabytes of incriminating data will be released to the press," McAfee tweeted on June 9, 2019.

Eleven days later, he added: "The instant I disappear the information is released. Those named would be crazy to kill me or collect me. They are simply praying I live forever. If it's released, revenge takes over and I'm dead."

Read this it's interesting !

Another one :
Quote
"Getting subtle messages from U.S. officials saying, in effect: 'We're coming for you McAfee! We're going to kill yourself.' I got a tattoo today just in case. If I suicide myself, I didn't. I was whackd. Check my right arm," John McAfee wrote while sharing an image of his "$WHACKD" tattoo in November 2019

Reason some people think that he did not commit suicide is because he was asked about living in the jail, he told that he have good friends there and he is enjoying but apparently if he hangs himself it won't be his fault..

This seems like a very weird case, what do you guys think ?
Why was the dead man's switch not activated? Is someone behind all this? Someone who killed him and is now preventing the data release.
Should his body be inspected for possible codes? Or are we just making it more complicated than it really is. Is it going to affect bitcoins as a whole, if something like that was activated??

1507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My evolution to playing on Bitcoin casinos on: June 26, 2021, 06:17:55 PM
Hi all fellow Bitcoin forum members.  I’ve been a gambler for most all my life.  Started gambling with bookies and in casinos and switched to online casino’s in the past 10 years.  Over the last few months I’ve been trying out some crypto currency casinos.  I really appreciate the traceability, anonymity, trackability, and speed of cash outs.  I am very bullish on Bitcoin and believe it’s a great currency to keep my disposable income in as it may make a profit while in possession.  What’s important for me in a casino is the following: superior customer service, honestly fair, regulated/licensed casinos, best lines and promotions and offer the best terms and conditions regarding pay outs and play.
Does anyone here have experiences with bitcoin casinos that are favorable? Am I missing any of critical traits that a good casino should have?
Thanks,
Crypto_Capitalist

Hello
I am not a full time gambler. I do it for fun when I have some extra bucks but I would suggest you to look for the casinos which are listed here in the signatures of the people. Most of them are wonderful, secure , have good payouts. You might have to browse through them for a while before you can figure out what you want.
As for me my biggest mistake was "Not checking the withdrawal fee etc." Most of the casinos have probelms with the VPN etc..you also have to see about that. But when talking about the *probably fair* there are some users out here who did post topics about it and it was interesting, you should definitely search them up. The seed thing I believe is not true.
For me my biggest mistake was depositing 50$ in a casino and realizing the minimum payout was 150-200$ and the payout needed such immense fee!! Around 50$ , for some players it was normal but for me I know some casinos where everything is not so complicated and expensive. Therefore I never used it again x_x .
Always read the rules and their fee. Always !
1508  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pragmatic play slots not available in my region on: June 26, 2021, 05:16:47 PM
Hi, I love slots and I play slots whenever I have a chance to but as much as I love playing slots I don't really earn much in them. Nostly the good games are not available in my region and it really sucks. Can someone explain why they don't give access to games with great payout to people from other regions? I find it quite unfair.

When you are talking about online casinos , you can still find a variety of them. If I see correctly your country is allowing gambling therefore I do feel that you might have to either:
1. Explore more
2. look for an overseas casinos which are actually accepting people from your country without VPN
By the way which country you are talking about ?? It could help other people from the same area to help you with the question.
Plus for my country it's super strict too. At least you are allowed slots! It all depends upon the place you been born but they won't stop you if you choose to travel to Vegas one day .
I would definitely advice you to check out more online casinos, read the full rules and regulations and then find something which is profitable. If you can't then you might just have to wait.
1509  Economy / Economics / Re: Deutsche Bank issues dire economic warning for America on: June 26, 2021, 04:49:01 PM
I do think that its not just a probelm for the USA. But the whole world. First of all I do think that they have to bring around a law, a law to make sure the companies are not going to take illegal benefits from hyperinflation.
Remember what happened during the start of the pandemic?? I purchased a mask for 7$!! Sanitizer and everything was sold like liquid gold. I do think that it's high time that the Governmental bodies think about implementing such rules.
Then let's talk about endless money printing. What was Donald Trump's strategy ? Use the money to buy people's votes. He succeed for so many years!!! Why?? It should be illegal to print out money like that, why it is not illegal yet? Implementing such laws can also keep hyperinflation in check.

1511  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice Crypto Calculator on: June 25, 2021, 06:58:01 PM
^ Lol, all I can see here is don't feed his troll by the OP, I opened the site but it is shilling the review site here for free.
I don't know if there is a real dice calculator and how you will earn on it. There is no such thing, the dice game is based on a luck game, and even you, you can control your BTC spending but on others knowing the result for the dice is unlikely possible. Therefore I conclude that you are simply shilling your review site here.
Well I do think the luck we talk about is : " A very well done strategic program where they try to actually make it feel random " if there is someone who can code an anti software against that, then I do believe it can work and it won't just be based on luck then, but all of this is something not impossible but very hard. This calculator will give your probability, not assurance. Therefore you will have to use it at your own risk. It's good that OP shared it with everyone here without any hidden fee. But at the same time if you do want to win in a dice game then choose your range wisely too. You can decrease the profit by increasing your choice of range in many sites.
1512  Economy / Economics / Re: The trend of prices is still upward, any hope for downward? on: June 25, 2021, 06:26:16 PM
COVID 19 enriched majorities while the minorities suffer.
The current increament in the cost of commodities in the market is alarming bad yet the majorities who are representative of the minorities (politicians) seem to pay less concerned.
This increament before now was tag to be as a result of Covid 19 which interrupted importation and exportation of good and services.
It is expected that with the decrease in the Covid 19 spread I thought their will be a corresponding decrease in prices of price the reverse is the case.
My question remains is their any hope for price decrement.
It was actually down for a really long time which gave people an amazing opportunity to buy some more thus we saw the sudden upturn, right now I do think that we will see a lot more down fall in the market , we are still in a phase of lockdown and therefore these things are common.

I do think that if you want to invest big then wait for a while . At the same time you have to consider the news where countries adopted bitcoins as a legal currency therefore it will also spike up the price when that happens. This is something that you can look forward to.

Right now due to some probelms in China past week we did see a slightly lower price. Look out for any news, it's a critical time especially for trading.
1513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HOLY GRAIL FOR EASY MONEY (LIVE PROOF) on: June 25, 2021, 05:50:32 PM
I have heard a whole lot about binary option but haven't seen any one who is good at predicting the outcome. I would be patient enough to follow yours closely as long as you keep Posting your results. But is it in form of the general trading we are familiar with? Or does it have a  different concept entirely I still don't know how binary option work just heard people discussing about it.

Just like the binary language it pays 0 or 1 , this is what I know about the binary trading too. I have not tried it since my lack of experience will make sure that I will loose , lol.

I am really interested in the same. Could someone publish how they go through with it and which platform other than binary one you use ??

Plus could you share your tips and tricks lol because it seems like you are winning consecutively.

I do not think that martingale will work in practical situations , in theory it's good to go but I have never seen anyone win through with that.
1514  Economy / Economics / Re: Antivirus Pioneer John McAfee Commits Suicide on: June 25, 2021, 05:23:37 PM
He's in for a treat if he were to be extradited, and I guess he no longer wants to be imprisoned for his tax crimes and just want to literally go out and evade the sentence. Perhaps it is also out of frustration that he was left in the dust after he was charged for tax evasion by some of his friends that he also helped along the way. John McAfee is nowhere near likeable after the pump and dumps that he helped orchestrate, though to be fair he helped shape the scene and helped us recognize some of its flaws, resulting to the maturity of the cryptocurrency market.

RIP.

Even if you are thinking about tax crimes you always have a way p
Actually, it is not clear whether he committed suicide. Because there is no proof about it yet. Maybe he wanted to commit suicide when he heard that he was going to be taken to the USA again. Or maybe, someone planned to kill him and did it.
That's a probability in my opinion, we know that this kind of thing is happening in the world, organizations neutralizing targets and making it look like a suicide. Remember the Epstein fiasco, many believe including me that it was orchestrated because he plans to squeal on powerful people. Maybe this is the same for McAfee.

This is extremely sad , one should not do something like this since their life influences many people from their family and even if he had no way out, he could have for sure done something. This is never the case . I hope his family is better.
What am worried about is "if the social media played a sad role in this" ( we know how his image was therefore people always criticized him , it should have definitely been a hard thing for him to read )
Actually, it is not clear whether he committed suicide. Because there is no proof about it yet. Maybe he wanted to commit suicide when he heard that he was going to be taken to the USA again. Or maybe, someone planned to kill him and did it.

There is no one answer but I hope whatsoever happened can be out in the public and may the people involved are taken care of.

What he did was definately wrong but there is no need to hold him accountable now. I do think someone definitely killed him because he was just facing 5 years in prison. Which is not much.
1515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How has crypto positively impacted your life? on: June 25, 2021, 04:28:35 PM
I would like to answer this from my personal perspective.
For me it was hard to find a job while I was studying and preparing for exams and most of the places did not accept people without any experience or even if they did they had such bad rates!!
( My mom worked full time for only 70$ )
Therefore I had to somehow support my family, when I started selling my artworks through cryptocurrencies, this not only gave me experience but it also gave me more confidence. Then I was introduced to signature Campaigns which are honestly amazing. I consider this working for a company that dedicates their time and money for people on the forum. This not only helped me learn more about cryptocurrencies but it also helped me get on the day to day news.
When you are on the forum and posting anything, you have to know !! Thus my general knowledge increased drastically and I do have a reason to study a little about the affairs all around the world. Plus seeing how companies like Roobet and duelbits are organizing competitions just overall is connecting everyone in the crypto world and helping many!
Plus the campaign where they fed people during covid actually did more than what other people and the government are doing for them. Cryptocurrencies have impacted many and words will forever be few.
1516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you be doing if there was no bitcoin? on: June 25, 2021, 03:25:52 PM
Honestly if there was no Bitcoin I do think that in few more years we would have gotten one. There would be a scientist sitting back in his house thinking about how unfair the whole centralized system is... Plus he would already be working on it.

Having bitcoins integrated in our lives is something inevitable. It's much needed. Even though most of the world is democrats but at the end of the day the manipulation is sick to it's core.

I do think that if there was no Bitcoins I would not get an opportunity to work online on such platforms internationally and grow as a whole. At the same time it just makes my life easier , I am able to transfer money internationally without any additional efforts, without additional paperwork being submitted to the banks and them creating it a much harder job than it should have been.

It's a blessing for us.
1517  Economy / Gambling / Re: best bitcoin casino that allow USA players or accepted use of VPN ! on: June 21, 2021, 06:54:24 PM
i have previous play at betcoin they accepted use of VPN they paid but betcoin no longer accepted USA player even with VPN.

Can anyone tell me what other legit bitcoin casino that pay fast and safe  thx

Hi
First of all you should choose one from the above mentioned there are plenty but one thing that I wanted to tell you us, whatever you mentioned *fast* *with VPN* etc.. all these things are like red flags. First step of choosing a good casino is trust and these things are there for your safety therefore I do believe that you should not hurry and at the same time understand the reason why such things are there in place. Other than that you can find plenty of casinos willing to accept US players, better to see which ones are bring used by people locally.
1518  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Manipulation Logic? on: June 21, 2021, 06:29:32 PM
Hi
I don't consider myself an expert but for sure but for sure the demand and supply works everywhere but here. The huge dump is definately due to people who have either a huge sum of money or if they are involved in groups where they try and influence the price altogether. See I feel like the whales work together. At the same time there are people like Elon Musk to influence the market. The not so rich people (mentally) generally follow whatever they say. Twitter and other social media apps are genuinely now a days a tool to make such changes. Plus when the price starts to fall it suddenly starts a chain reaction due to panic selling and it falls even further. Therefore at the end of the day it might be whales, influential people, governmental announcements , bans etc.. but at the end you cannot determine a single cause.
1519  Economy / Economics / Re: INPUT =OUTPUT (REAL LIFE EVALUATION) on: June 21, 2021, 05:37:37 PM
This is definitely a sad truth. You can work hard as much as you want but at the end of the day it's dependent on not just your hardwork but other situations too. A vendor works harder than anyone but still earns like 1/100th ! There is many disparities in the market. It's dependent on your education, inheritance, family status , political power, your job etc.. Honestly you cannot have a common formula.
I do think that life is definitely easier for people who belongs to well established families, on the contrary the poor and the middle class have to suffer a lot to make ends meet.
I do not think that input= output for everyone, I do know so because I have experienced it and have been experiencing it since I was a child. But I surely believe that there is one thing that can normalize everything which is *education*.
1520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does implementing a tax on a gambling platform really help a country? on: June 21, 2021, 05:04:59 PM
Anything that is getting money in the pockets of the government is apparently considered good for the country even if we have no idea how this money is getting used up.
Well for the starters, any business have taxes and therefore if we are talking about the gambling one for the big terms it's very understood that we are going to see government implementing taxes. But let's talk about what is not right :
" Implementing heavy taxes!! "
10-20% is honestly a big deal and it can for sure cause probelms for the people who are engaged in this business and also the small individuals who just started out. At the same time it's not an easy task to get it going so the initial cost is ofcourse going to be big , which can discourage some people from going towards it.
It's a necessary evil !
The gambling companies have to stay in business and  at the same time it will only work if the government is somehow getting benefited.
